My first attempt (1) at the Zainthar Kai scheme was a little too blue-purple, and the red too bright, so I did a second attempt (2)

Another 5 girls painted, plus the bases done on the first 5. 10 down, 5 to go - and still a week and a half till the tournament so I'm in fine shape! Glad to finally be getting these done and happy I decided to use the tournament as a motivator

I never quite like the latest cauldron of blood mini. I find it too bulky an impractical. It's also just too massive to be pulled by two witch elves. The old version from 6th edition was better in it's simplicity, but lacked mobility. So I 3D printed some parts and converted a cauldron on spiderlegs! Very fitting for some Drows, don't you think?

One last mini post for the year!

All the ones I would consider myself to have *finished* painting this year. There's a lot more, many just waiting for a bit of inking or for their bases to not be barren black plastic, but these ones will be sat in their cases with nothing more done to them. From the rudimentary rangers to the Hag Queen Drag Queen, Käärijä dog to... aah bollocks I forgot to put the sin eaters in the picture.

ANYWAY.

Is anyone else doing a minis roundup? I wanna see everyone else's. Whether it's one mini or multiple armies (dang that's impressive). Beginner or expert, big dragons or tiny little historicals, how'd your hobby year go? What's in store for the next one?

Something slightly different. Age of Sigmar is my go to normally and my first and most beloved army is the Daughters of Khaine. There is still some way to go before I am happy with how I paint these lovely Aelves just need to practice, practice, practice.
