I found myself with a couple hours and wanted to make something for fun between commissions. Here’s a pretty rad looking cinematic Sonic! Conveniently packaged as a mobile wallpaper!

Here are a bunch of characters that I mixed the modern and classic styles together with. I started with a piece of Sonic 3 concept art of Sonic, made the minimal modern changes to him (longer legs, soles, eye color, increased spike size) and rolled with it from there. I took it to the rest of the characters here and this is the result!

Here’s my shot at the new Sonic Channel art style with my enigmatic character, Phoenix! It’s been a lot of fun seeing how he’s changed and improved in design over the last... 16 years? Holy moly. Hope you all dig it!
