Everybody is waiting for the two of them to rekindle because they are playing a couple. However, when the movie comes out, everyone is disappointed when they don't start dating. Only because the chemistry between the opposite people is even better. Robin and Nancy come out as dating before the movie is out. And when it comes out people make edits of them.

Except there are double the edits of Steve and Eddie. The already kind of gay love between Conner and Evan is over the top. They don't come out as together but in the song disappear it looks like their in love.

There are pictures of them all together, but it takes Dustin Henderson and Mike Wheeler making fun of them so much over Twitter that they end of getting together <3<3<3

Happy 78th Birthday pop star Rod Stewart.

Being Scottish is not always a physical thing,  Roderick David Stewart being one such instance, he was born in London on January 10th 1945, his father was Scottish and had been a master builder in Leith, his mum was a Londoner.

To steal the words of two Rod Stewart aonga being Scottish to him is “ You're in my heart, you're in my soul” or one that is littered with nods to his Scottish roots”Every beat of my heart” includes   “Here's one Jacobite “, “ Just for auld lang syne, “  And to the northern lights, And the swirling pipes, How they make a grown man cry”. I could fill this post up with lyrics from many of his songs, Rythm of my Heart, or his unofficial 1978 world cup song,  Ole Ola, his cover of Purple Heather, or his versions of The Skye Boat Song and Auld Land Synes .

During the 1960s, Stewart was a part of several different bands. In 1966, he joined the blues-influenced Jeff Beck Group and experienced his first taste of success. The group toured the United Kingdom and the United States and released two hit albums. In 1969, he joined what became known as the Faces. Ron Wood was one of his bandmates and became a member of the Rolling Stones. Stewart also performed as a solo artist and scored his first big solo success with the album Every Picture Tells A Story, which featured the hit single “Maggie May” in 1971. That same year, the Faces had a hit with the song “Stay With Me.”

Stewart moved to the United States in 1975. The next year, he reached the top of the U.S. charts with “Tonight’s the Night” from A Night on the Town. Stewart continued to have a slicker, more pop sound as the decade progressed. He also developed a reputation for his partying lifestyle and for dating numerous actresses and models. With 1978’s Blondes Have More Fun, he had another smash hit single with “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?”

The 1980s proved to be more challenging for Stewart. While 1981’s Tonight I’m Yours went platinum, the albums that followed did not fare as well. He ended the decade on a positive note, however. His remake of the Tom Waits song “Downtown Train” in 1989 received a lot of radio play. A few years later, he released Unplugged and Seated, which was recorded at MTV Unplugged concert and featured the hit “Have I Told You Lately.”

With his distinctive throaty, almost scratchy-sounding voice, Stewart decided to take on some of the classic songs and make them his own with It Had to be You: The Great American Songbook. He recorded four volumes of the Great American Songbook series, and won his first Grammy Award (best traditional pop vocal album) for Stardust: The Great American Songbook, Volume III in 2004.

t the age of 60, Stewart became a father for seventh time. His son, Alastair Wallace Stewart, was born on November 27, 2005. This was his first child with then fiancée Penny Lancaster. The couple married in 2007 and welcomed a second son, Aiden, in 2011. He also has a daughter, Kimberly, and a son, Sean, from his first wife Alana Stewart and a daughter named Ruby with former girlfriend Kelly Emberg. He also has two children from his marriage to model Rachel Hunter—Renee and Liam. Stewart publicly acknowledged his oldest daughter, Sarah Streeter, in 2013. Streeter was born when Stewart was only 18 years old, and he and the girl’s mother had decided to put their baby up for adoption. Stewart and Streeter first met in 2008.

In 2006, Stewart returned to rock music with Still The Same: Great Rock Classics of Our Time. The album reached the top of the pop charts in October of that year. Stewart put down the microphone and picked up a pen to write his 2012 memoir Rod: The Autobiography. The following year, he made an impressive return to songwriting with his album Time. Stewart co-wrote of many of the record’s songs as well as serving as a co-producer on the project.

Always a bit of a rascal  Rod shows no signs of living a quiet pensioner lifestyle, a couple of years ago he and his son were involved with an altercation in Florida, with Rod throwing a punch at a security guard after he refused them entry to an event.  He will need to be careful or he might end up being arrested by wife,  Penny, who as well as working as a model, has volunteered as a Special Constable in the police.

Stewart was estimated to have a fortune of £215 million in the Sunday Times Rich List of 2021, making him the 12th wealthiest person in the British music industry.

Rod was knighted in 2018 for his contributions to music and charity, and while many of us don’t agree with the notion we can’t take away that Sir Rod is not just a talented musician – he is also a philanthropist who has dedicated much of his life and resources to giving back

Sadly, life has not been so giving to Sir Rod of late. The music icon recently lost his brothers, Don and Robert ‘Bob’.

Bob died in November, a day before his 88th birthday and only two months after the loss of Don.

Recently, Sir Rod surprised a Brighton barber and singer to thank him for raising £14,000 for charity. The touching gesture from the British rock legend was shown during an episode of The One Show.

In recent years, Sir Rod’s charitable focus has become a little more direct due to his own health scares following his diagnosis of thyroid cancer (2000) and later prostate cancer (2019).  It all opened his eyes to the preciousness of life, and Stewart has now devoted much of his time to helping publicise the various fights against cancer and help those who are not as fortunate as he was.

More recently, the Maggie May rocker has also shown his caring nature by renting a home for a family of seven fleeing from the ongoing Russian war. Despite saying he usually keeps ‘all my charitable efforts nice and quiet,’ he publicised this hoping to inspire others to help.

So, as Sir Rod celebrates his 78th birthday, it is clear that he is not just a talented musician but also a kind and generous individual who has made a positive impact on the world.

tell us about Ellie!! she's your OC, right? (I know nothing about Braking Point sorry!!!) so tell us about her story, the way you wanted to develop her, how much you hated making her the catalyst for the compulsory third act conflict...

ELLIE.... she IS my OC and she's also my best girl in the world. i have never been attached to an oc the way i am to ellie. i'm putting this under a cut because it's going to be a ginormous rant

ellie was one of the first parts of this fic that really came to life for me - i knew as soon as i came up with the premise of "devon says something homophobic and has to fake date aiden about it" that we were going to have to involve his press person. i was initially very much inspired by some of charlotte sefton's interactions with lando during her stint at mclaren but like, turned up to 11 because devon is... a bit of a nightmare. i immediately had this image of ellie as someone very very direct & no nonsense as a stark contrast to devon's penchant for theatrics and never quite saying what he actually means. i knew that ellie has been working with devon since he started in f1 so she knows him (though, of course, he still finds ways to surprise her) and she's probably only a couple of years older than him, sort of existing as an exasperated big sister figure. working with devon was probably one of her first jobs out of uni, which is definitely a baptism of fire for your PR career.

(a really silly side note is that i used to live near elephant & castle, and therefore the london college of communication, last year, and i just immediately decided that was where ellie went to uni. her surname then came from me thinking about her on the bus while going through e&c and passing two estate agents - chase evans and gordon & co. in my head she's always been ellie gordon-evans because it scans really nicely when you say it out loud but turns out it looks a bit clumsy in print. hence why in the fic she's just ellie gordon.)

as for developing ellie, i also knew immediately that i wanted her and devon to become friends. i think ellie is quite a lonely person. she's a workaholic (she genuinely adores her job even though her client is a walking migraine), she can be abrasive and demanding in how she talks to people, and i sort of struggled from the outset to imagine her having any real friends, in or out of the paddock. i didn't set out to write her as autistic but i had my personal autistic realisation midway through the writing process and around the time i was writing chapter 13, when she comes to see devon after the breakup, i thought ah wait. person who is in control and socially competent professionally but struggles to make and maintain friendships irl and brings people gifts and does things for them because she doesn't know how else to show affection? the call is coming from inside the house. i also think this is where her interest in PR started - having spent her whole life masking she has this carefully honed awareness of saying the right things to the right people (in a professional context, anyway) so as a career path it feels like a natural extension of her own life. i don't think ellie is diagnosed, and she probably won't ever get diagnosed or even feel the need to explore that aspect of herself, but once i realised i'd written an autistic character she made a lot more sense to me.

as for making her the catalyst for the third act conflict... honestly i loved it. firstly i very much wanted to avoid falling too hard into the classic misguided attempt at feminism that often occurs in fanfiction when a competent snarky girlboss exists solely to get the two guys together. that's sort of difficult to avoid in this fic with ellie's professional role so i thought you know what, i want her to mess this up, and i want her to mess it up badly, and then i want to put the ball in devon's court to fix it.

as for how she was going to fuck up, my entire inspiration was alana beck in dear evan hansen. much like ellie, alana is a very accomplished but extraordinarily lonely person who compensates through achievement and making herself useful. when she sees an opportunity to get involved in something and be helpful she leaps in full force even though she can be... a bit much to handle as a personality. and then her desperation to contribute curdles into a full blown obsession with the cause, she does something that takes it way too far in a last gasp rescue effort, and it all blows up in everybody's face. i felt like if ellie was going to mess up there was going to be that same guiding mechanism behind it. so yeah - no regrets about her being the one to accidentally mess things up, if anything i hope it made her more human.

also as a final note. idk exactly how or when it happened but my faceclaim for ellie is maya hawke. so now you know

• When you were just friends™ you always told her how you would like to have someone to cuddle with, so when you started dating she wanted to do it all the time.

• And you’re not mad because it distracted her from school.

• She texted you when she started studying and if she didn’t stop in four hours you will call and ask for a cuddle.

• She’d be at your place in no time.

• You know, Alana is tiny and demanding so she’s the little spoon that cuddles face to face.

• She left the Saturday’s for you two to hang out without any other responsibility, and even though she loves being outside, you always end up back on the couch cuddling.

• You like to snuggle in her neck, humming songs to make her laugh.

• Her hair always smells good and her skin is super smooth which means sometimes you can’t hold back soft bites. (It’s not like she minds or cares)

• She always plays with your hair and it entangles but she brushes it afterwards.

• She learned to enjoy the winter holidays by having constant movie nights, watching rom-coms under a blanket, and drinking warm drinks and eating sweets

• You always have a lot of food on the movie nights and it’s weird because you won’t pull off from the hug and end up eating over each other’s shoulder

• It’s very messy. (Again, not like you or her cares)

• Usually you pull up her shirt a little bit to trace stars on her hips and that makes her sleepy.

• One time you and she fell asleep like this in an empty, extracurricular room at school and Zoe came in and took a lot of pictures to make you mad.

• But you ended up even framing one of them and putting it up in your apartment when you moved together.

• Alana discovered that she loves pda, it makes her feel safe and you love to see her happy.

• So you always hug her from behind, hold hands and kiss her cheek every time she says something smart (she’s smart all the time so she’s always getting smooches in public)

• Once Zoe and Evan joined one of your cuddle sessions and now every time they see you two together the just jump in the hug.

• You don’t really mind because Alana loves the attention and affection

C: Even if Alana was around she’s not really our first choice, she’s a little to huh strung to be around kids by herself. And Jared well I don’t need that bastard stealing my baby girls love from me.

For like, a week, during the Connor Project. Because she’s trying to kickstart this campaign, with a message that’s important and personal to her, and at first she was like “Great, Evan’s only friend is this jerk who only cares about himself, I gotta fill out the co-president role before he can touch it”, but as it turns out, he’s actually helping a lot? And maybe Jared Klienman has a heart, and maybe this project is just as personal to him as it is to her? And of course it’s not because she’s never been in a relationship before (no one’s every shown interest, and it’s not like she would have had time anyway, what with all her extracurriculars) so when all of a sudden Jared is asking for her input and wants to talk to her and is eager to work on the project when Evan isn’t, maybe there are butterflies. And when he snort-laughs at his own jokes and adjusts his glasses whenever he’s nervous or hunches over when he’s focusing, maybe the butterflies multiply. 

But if you asked her, she’d deny it. Jared Klienman? That narcissist? Ew.
