Steve Harrington who doesn't die. No matter what, he'll wake up afterwards. He learned it young when he survived a car crash that killed his mom. And he struggles after her death, not knowing why he survived when she didn't. As he grows up, he can't relax and parties to try and be full of something lighter. But he drinks too much at one party and he doesn't have a good friend to rely on.

As time goes on, Steve dies by Billy and by the Russians. He doesn't really understand but he begins to accept it. But he also becomes more careless. Which is how Eddie finds him.

Eddie had been able to see ghosts since he almost died from his dad. The first ghost he ever sees is his mom and she passes on after getting to hug him goodbye one last time. After that Eddie sees the few elderly people who died at the end of their lives. And the people who died too early. He got stuck as the freak for all the times he's accidentally talked to someone who wasn't there.

He had talked with Benny who was worried about that young girl. Barb who was so mad about being left behind by her friend. But he hadn't seen Will Byers and it made sense when he was found eventually. But he did hear some things from the agents stuck at the middle school who looked torn apart. Eddie learned of the Upside Down earlier but promised Wayne he'd stay out of it.

Until he saw Steve sitting on the edge of the pool, looking at his body floating in the water. There was some blood swirling in the water and it made Eddie sick. But Steve just stared blankly at his own body before sighing and standing. He froze when Eddie locked eyes with him. He glanced at the pool than Eddie. "Hmm," he gave him a small smile and moved past him.

"Wait!" Eddie called afterwards and Steve paused, "aren't you, like, I don't know needing something? Most ghosts-"

"Oh," Steve chuckled, "this won't last much longer." He stated and walked away but before he even reached the door back into the party he blinked away. Eddie let out a scream when Steve's body spasmed and his head flung up out of the water. There was still blood on the side of his face but he was alive. Steve groaned as he pulled himself out of the pool. "See," his came out hoarse and Eddie was just so confused.

Aww thank you @paperbackribs <3<3<3 I haven't written too much the past week because of the end of the school year but I sat down and worked on a couple today. It's not Wednesday but who cares lol. I also don't have many wips at the moment. I don't have the brain power lol.

Here's Irish Boy Stevie

As his aunt grabbed the few things they needed, he stared over at the mother with an even younger baby. The baby was crying so loudly that even his aunt spared it a second of her attention. But he wasn't sure if it was because the crying annoyed her or if the switch of people's attention to the kid annoyed her.

She moved from the aisle, but Steve didn't follow her. He watched the mother holding her child, looking overwhelmed and close to tears as her baby didn't stop crying. He moved over to them and cleared his throat, "Is- alright?" He asked, and his voice croaked. He couldn't even remember the last time he had spoken.

The woman startled, and her face flushed, "Yeah, sorry. He's - he always settled for my- but we have to deal with just the two of us now, don't we Dusty?" She said, her voice frantic as she tried to soothe her son.

Steve looked at the tiny little guy in her arms. The kid reached over and gripped onto Steve's shirt, tugging slightly. Steve moved a little closer on instinct. "Oh, I'm so sorry," the woman said, looking far too embarrassed. Steve gently took the hand that gripped his shirt, and the kid switched to hold onto one of his fingers.

Big brown eyes blinked over at Steve, and he felt seen as the kid stopped crying. "Oh, he seems to- to like you." The mother sighs, and Steve looks up at her.

"Really?" He asks, and a spark of the joy he thought the blue washed away flared in his chest.

The mother smiles, and she has the same kindness in her gaze that his mamma had. "Of course, I’m sure Dusty already thinks of you as a friend." She states, and he straightens up. He hadn't really made any friends since coming to Hawkins.

The baby babbles is his mother's arms, and Steve can't help but smile back. "Oh, where's your parents honey?" The mother asks as it finally seems to catch her attention.

He blinks away from the shining smile of the baby and glances down the aisle where his aunt disappeared. "My aunt. She did not like crying." He admits, and the woman looks confused.

"Well, why don't I help you find her. I'm Claudia Da- Henderson, and this is Dustin." She says, and Steve tries the names out on his tongue.

When he opens his eyes, El is looking at him, head tilted slightly to the side, a curious expression on her face. She squints at him, as if that will help her see him better before her face goes eerily neutral and she turns, continues to lead them towards what Steve can see if a barn in the distance. El pushes the barn door open with her mind, calling out, "Dustin! It is me!" "Oh fucking- thank fuck," Dustin says before he comes into view. "Is that thing still out there?"

some of yall still haven’t learned that Merida’s struggle was the same as a lot of the other disney princesses - a lack of choice. she had no agency and felt trapped. it’s not about hating men, hating marriage, and/or being queer. Merida was rebelling against not being able to “decide her fate”. that’s kinda the catchphrase of the movie.

it’s a great allegory for modern feminism because while Merida just wants to be able to choose for herself what she does with her life (the purpose of feminism), you’ve got radfems and tradwives (the viewers) on either side demanding she go one way or the other or she’s not a Real Woman or not Feminist Enough.
