in kotg what are the champions relationship like with one another ( also including link and Zelda)
As I’ve said before Urbosa and Daruk are sort of the parents? I love found families so I honestly want them to be a little family. Rebels style you know?
Urbosa is def the most responsible, I imagine that when Zelda and Rhoam aren’t there, she’s the one leading the champions. She’s the chief, very motherly, so of course she’s the most responsible. She’s very comforting to the others when needed and overall they greatly respect her. Now, I haven’t played the dlc for botw so I haven’t read the journals, nor do I have creating a champion, so some facts may not add up, but I do know that Urbosa describes the others besides Daruk as very young, so I think she naturally feels very responsible for the other’s well being. She and Daruk, being the oldest, are good friends and I would describe them as drinking buddies. She’s very motherly towards Mipha, I feel like she and Zelda have a lot in common so Urbosa treats her the same way as Zelda. She sees Link as a goofy teenage boy (even tho he’s 20 in this au) but I feel like she treats Link the same way Telma treated Link in tp? Not super motherly towards him cuz he doesn’t need that (his mother is alive and well) but she does guide him when needed and sees him as a capable adult. And Revali… there’s a reason that he’s scared of her. Anytime Revali would act up she’d scold him and tell him that he’s basically an idiot lol. She understands that he really has a lot of underlying issues underneath his arrogant attitude so she does look out for him.
Daruk a fun dad type of character. I imagine he’s charismatic and helps hype people up when needed, and he’s kind of a ride or die kinda guy (lol). But he’s not responsible. There’s a reason why Urbosa is in charge and not him lol. He’s a loveable himbo who wants to look out for the kidlets you know? Obviously he thinks they’re all adorable, Link is his little guy, Mipha is the little zora princess who has a huge crush and wants his help to confess to Link (he’s a wingman ;)) and Revali is the sassy child who needs some love. Even tho Revali makes fun of him, he doesn’t get offended by any of it. Whether it’s because he’s understanding that Revali means nothing by it, or if it’s because he’s just a himbo, who knows. He loves the kids tho (I keep saying they’re kids they’re adults but THEYRE LITTLE 💀💀💀). But yeah, he just kind of vibes. He and Urbosa are indeed besties and again, he sees Zelda almost the same as Mipha. Just a sweet little child
Mipha is kind of a people pleaser and doesn’t know how to say no. So she finds the champions who won’t take advantage of her kindness very comforting. Now, Mipha’s mother is gonna be in this au (just say she’s alive and don’t worry about the logistics lol) but she doesn’t see her very often so it’s nice to have Urbosa there to tell her “hey take a break”. Zelda is her best friend and they love hanging out. Mipha is really the only person who got through to Revali, so she considers him to be a very good friend. Obviously she loves Link and is basically going to Daruk for help. She wants to impress him with her fighting skills <3 and yeah. She very much wants to protect them. If anything where to happen to them, well… you’ll see :3c
And lastly Revali. You saw that stupid respect thingy ma Bob i made. He’s afraid of Urbosa, but more in a fearful respect kind of way. He won’t cross her in any way and he doesn’t want to make her upset of course. He is very fond of Mipha and Zelda. He thinks they’re both very great people who are strong princesses. He respects Zelda’s determination and intelligence, and he respects Mipha’s kindness and selflessness. He may sass them a couple of times but overall he likes them. Even tho he makes fun of Daruk, he deeply cares for that rock guy. Daruk is just a silly guy and Revali will laugh at him but will defend him with his life. And Link…. Revali is a hardworking guy who is very good at what he does, and Link seems to be some prodigy who is good at everything, and that makes Revali very insecure. Like Zelda, Revali has a huge issue with comparing himself to others. If he’s not the best then he’s the worst, and Link really makes him struggle with that. It’s not Link’s fault, and Revali genuinely thinks he’s an amazing fighter, but he’ll never say it out loud. It’s complicated to say the least. Honestly Revali is the only person who sees him as a rival. Link doesn’t care and the others just think that Revali hates Link lol.
Now for Link and Zelda. Y’all know my thoughts on this zelink. I feel like Zelda would love Link but I don’t want to deal with a love triangle so I might not explore any of that. But they are just friends. You can overall pick up their thoughts on the champions with this.

The Great Boopathon
Twilight
It had honestly been an accident, a truly sincere miscalculation. Sky tried to remember that Wolfie was Twilight. But sometimes, when the fluffy animal trotted into town, panting from exertion or cheer, Sky just immediately knelt in front of him with a sweet greeting and a gentle boop on the nose.
He didn't think it was possible for an animal to look so offended, but somehow Twilight managed it.
Sky
This was war.
Twilight huffed as he watched Sky sleep. The teenager was out cold, as per usual, curled into himself and covered in blankets. It was a little more unusual than his usual sleep position, in which literally anything was possible because he could fall asleep literally anywhere, but the boy's head cold had him shivering.
That didn't stop Twilight, though. He still remembered the boop. The completely humiliating and degrading gesture, the cute noise Sky made with it as he bapped Twilight's wolf nose gently with a smile on his face and a flush to his cheeks.
Sky moaned miserably, looking distinctly uncomfortable. Twilight swallowed, grabbing his resolve. He walked forward stealthily before laying on the ground, his canine nose stretching forward until it met Sky's own congested one. Then his tail swished back and forth, dusting leaves off the earth.
Sky scrunched his nose in response, tickled by the wetness of it, before he opened his eyes to see a snout. He yelped, trapped in his blankets, and Twilight pounced on him, bapping him with a paw and pinning him in place as he laughed and tried to fight.
Abel
"There's no way you can do it!"
Link glared defiantly in response. He would do this, and there was no stopping him. He would always rise to a challenge. He couldn't afford to fail, he couldn't afford to lose the faith of those who believed in him.
He was stealthier than he'd ever been in his entire life. He could pass for a Sheikah, he was certain. His heart pounded in his chest, anxiety trying but failing to whittle away at his resolve. His naysayer watched with bated breath.
The greatest challenge, of course, were the floorboards. There were some that creaked. It would be absolutely catastrophic if his foe heard his approach. Carefully, Link tried to remember which boards creaked the most, settling his bare feet with such care to distribute his weight properly.
When he finally reached the bed, he nearly failed in his mission. His enemy stirred, almost awakening, but he managed to avoid disaster. Finally, his objective in sight, the Hero of Hyrule leapt, landing on his prey with a mighty hyah.
Abel nearly jumped out of his skin as he was startled awake before getting slammed in the face with a pillow.
"I told you I could do it!" Link yelled at the stairway where his sister, Lyra, was hiding.
Daruk
The leader of the Gorons had many precious memories to make him smile when he was more contemplative in the evenings. Perhaps his favorite, though, was when the Champions met his child, who had been so delighted to meet them that he'd rolled over Revali's toes and crashed into Link's knees, knocking the Hylian over. It had been a fun day in general, but the little boop his boy had given him when he picked him up had been the most delightful part.
It was usually what Daruk would do for the child before bedtime; to have such a simple gesture reciprocated brought him more joy than he could ever articulate.
Shadow Link
He had nearly succeeded in getting away from the damn gloom hands, but his stamina had run out. When they'd caught up to him, he could practically sense the displeasure radiating off them, and his insides froze at the sight of them.
Then one of the hands leaned over and booped him on the nose, making him yelp, before the others grabbed him and teleported him through the gloom back to Ganondorf's location.
"Was that really necessary?" Link grumbled, holding his nose as if it had been burned.
"Yes," the demon king replied without hesitation as he snatched him by his tunic and plopped him beside him. "Now rest."
Mystery Link
Link wasn't sure how it happened, but being completely smothered by his dog was not how he wanted to start his mornings. Nevertheless, it was how Friend decided to be his new morning alarm, slapping his face with a paw as a warning before laying her whole head over him and asphyxiating him.
By the fifth morning, he started wrestling her in response, and she always got so excited about it that she would spend the next few minutes zooming all over the forest, tail tucked and legs flailing in all directions.
Wind
Twilight was acting weird.
Wind was a little worried. After all, he'd only just recovered from his injury recently. Although the sailor had the utmost faith in the elder Hero's abilities, he couldn't help but watch him and see what was up. This was a matter of great importance, and only Wind could truly understand as the others seemed completely oblivious.
He made several observations while the others were pointlessly distracted. Twilight's eyes were wary, looking everywhere as if he were expecting an attack. Wind knew for certain that the rancher hadn't been patrolling because Time and Wild wouldn't allow for it quite yet. But no one else was on edge. It was possible Twilight just felt inadequate or useless, as he was typically the one who tried to shoulder a great deal of responsibility.
Wind moved closer to his dear friend, curious. He was going to ask him outright if he kept this behavior up, but--
Twilight gasped, grabbing Wind around the ribs and holding him like a shield in front of his body, and Wind yelped as Sky poked his nose.
"Hey!" Sky snapped. "No cheating!"
"There are no rules in this war!" Twilight huffed back. Then he gave Wind a squeeze against his torso as a compensatory hug. "Sorry about that, little pirate."
"Ha! Sorry? Let me go, I'll avenge you!" Wind happily offered, already wiggling out of his grip as Sky fled.
Time
"This is getting out of hand," Time said severely, hands on his hips. "And is unbefitting of a Hero."
Twilight looked extremely schooled. If he were in his wolf form, he probably would have his tail between his legs, ears peeled back. Time did not feel guilty in the slightest about it. The camp was in utter disarray, supplies strewn everywhere as Twi's wolf form had utterly destroyed the place and barreled over most of the heroes while he'd tried to escape Sky's little winged mechanical booping machine and Wind's exuberant screams.
Unlike Twilight, Sky looked nearly indifferent, but somehow he managed to convert his expression to apologetic when Time glared at him. Wind, however, was unrepentant.
And giggling.
Time was going to lecture him further when the reason for Wind's laughter dropped out of the nearest tree, landing on Time's shoulders and booping him on the nose.
Sky and Wind cheered as Wild scrambled off Time and fled into the forest, giggling all the way.

let’s meet our heroes!
(who we’ll call by their well known names for simple sake)
————————————————————————
Wild(Link Azure Rune)[Age: 17]{Civilian nickname: Azul, Cook, Champion or “Champ”, “Cub”/Only Twilight calls him this/}
he’s technically our ‘pink lead’ or ‘mini leader’ of the ‘main’ team. He lived in the suburbs of Hateno with his parents and own younger sister. He befriended Mipha and Daruk when he was little around the age of 4 when his family had visited both Mipha’s and Daruk’s homelands respectively. He later gets to know Flora, Revali, and Urbosa when he was around 12 and sure things were a little rocky with Flora and Revali at the start of things but later they became thick as thieves, and with three more to add to the friend group(they still stay in touch even after he befriends the rest of the chain”). Fast forward to 17 and he’s now in high school, one that’s he’s just transferring into due to having to move to Central Hyrule City because of his dad’s new job working as a castle guard for the royal family. While he is grateful he technically gets to be in the same class as Flora, Mipha and Revali(they’re helpful too). He pretty much still imitated by pretty much everything else around him. Such as not only the school being way bigger than his former one, not to mention the multiple number of students too. Sheer number is way intimidating than he can ever imagine, luckily he ends up meeting Wind and Tetra by literally bumping into them, they both actually help Wild. He was also pretty much there during the first attack cause it literally happened on the first day of school, just literally after school too(Seriously he was going to meet up with Flora, Mipha and Revali too). So there’s a Lynel wreaking havoc and Wild almost got caught up in one of the attacks if it hadn’t been someone pulling him out of the way, this someone being Warriors, and getting scolded a second later about why Wild was just standing there and it’s dangerous here so he should run. However Wild soon spots a familiar face. Wind and Tetra were both in trouble, and seeing he rather not stand by and do nothing. He rushed straight into the battle with one of the dropped bow with their extra arrows on the ground. Even though Warriors pretty much told him to just freaking run and get out of there. That actually triggered something in Wild as the moment he shot that arrow at the lynel, that arrow was engulfed in a bright glow making it enough to piece and stun the lonely in place, giving Wind and Tetra more than enough time to get out of there(Wind however noticed there was something familiar about the one that saved him and Tetra just now). Wild newly grabbed bow began to transform into something else. A transformation device that lets Wild turn into his hero form, and Wild doesn’t even think twice on whenever or not he should use it or not. The moment he does, Wild has a rush of memories he doesn’t even remember having before(Memories as the Original Wild) and powers he wasn’t even aware he has awakening as well. He uses this new power to actually fight the lynel and actually holding up pretty well(got to quickly rescue Mipha for a quick second), especially having way too much fun snipering lynel with a bunch of arrows, before soon finishing it off with his finisher move. Lynel is defeated and taken down, Wild and Warriors find a spot hidden from the public as Wild got a whole lot of media attention being that “The Hero of Wild has somehow returned to save the day” and “Does this mean the other nine heroes of courage will show up”. Wild is definitely a handful regardless he still has a lot of things to learn to actually adjust to living in Central Hyrule City, especially now having hero duties too(plus being reminded that he needs to keep his identity secret too).
Warriors(Link Leo Griffin)[Age: 24]{Civilian nickname: Captain or “Cap”}
He’s pretty much lived in Central Hyrule City for his whole life(his family too but still) and currently while he’s one of the newer castle guards just recently assigned to watch over one of the royal family members(Legend). He sometimes acts as the ‘main’ group leader, he actually awaken his memories prematurely compared to getting his actual powers upon one day running into Time when he was younger, so he knows the ins and outs of what they are dealing with, he just needs to figure out how to trigger his own powers as well. He awaken his powers when Wild was in trouble while fighting Gohma, and not only that but Time who just happened to be there at the wrong time also got captured too by said monster(Mr Lon Lon cannot exactly transform unless he wants his identity as “Time” to be downright exposed), he didn’t want to be stuck on the side lines as he couldn’t do anything to help Wild or Time(Mask|Sprite). Warriors was going to save those two if it the last thing he’ll do. His powers finally trigger in that moment and he’s finally able to transform to not only get both Wild and Time out of that webbing the two were trapped in before(and Time being able to escape, he however doesn’t transform seeing Warriors have things handle, and not just because he wants to see Warriors in action, nope 😶) but manage to work together with Wild in dealing with Gohma but also got to use his own finisher move on the monster too. Having save Wild and Time, and getting out of there(don’t want to accidentally reveal himself after all). He’s more than happy of having his powers had unlocked, of course regardless he’s just glad the both of them are okay and alright, he even got to hug both of them properly once they were properly hidden from public eye. So, now that he is able to help out more than ever(he didn’t just want to watch from the sidelines and be unable to do anything to help, heck, he even loathed the fact of being unable save the ones he cares for before too). Unfortunately he still has royal guard duties aka he needs to guard a certain someone from the royal family and that someone also seems to really dislike him(or potentially seems to hate his own guts, this luckily gets solved later).
Wind(Link Zephyr Kainalu)[Age: 14]{Civilian nickname: Sailor}
The youngest of the team. Wind lives on one of the close by islands with his grandma and little sister. Though he also stays with his best friend and fellow partner in crime Tetra when staying on the mainland with her, he been staying there a lot more recently cause of the new school he’s attending with her. He awakens to his memories and powers after noticing Wild been acting old, and had also been going straight for this odd little cafe with that guy that follows that “Felicity” guy more. Followed them all the way to a nearby port, gets caught by them both, later gets to see Wild and Warriors literally turn into the two heroes of courage that literally been making a huge buzz at school to fight that huge octo that just appeared(something about that monster felt familiar to Wind but he doesn’t know why), see them doing awesome before the giant tentacle ensnarls the two making it not awesome, spots Linebeck’s boat that has a cannon, uses that cannon to blast the thing to oblivion(Well tries to, also Wind will remember to apologize to Linebeck later if he accidentally wreaks it), oh past memories and powers come back, now he can actually put that octo in its place. Battles the thing with the powers, and than eventually uses his own finisher move on octo monster. So after that fight Wind pretty much collapsed(being caught by Warriors) looking pretty much shocked and yet very much amazed “That was f****king sick and awesome”, well was until he saw Linebeck’s boat uhhh, wreaked(Uh oh, no wonder Wind used his wind waker to quickly get all three of them out of there seconds later). Wind now part of the team! He definitely makes things more exciting by being here, he is more than eager to be with the others again even if not exactly all the chain yet. Random side note he does have an older cousin that is just two years older than him, who Wind noticed been acting slightly off since the start of this whole mess. Wind is not stupid to not notice how his cousin looks at certain things and than gets a headache afterwards(also Wind still curses cause well 🏴‍☠️, doesn’t stop some of the older members giving the sailor a certain look for said cursing).
Legend(Link Felicity Hyrule)[Age: 18]{Civilian nickname: Veteran or “Vet”} and Hyrule(Link Le Fey)[Age: 17]{Civilian nickname: Traveler or “Trav”, or “Fae”}
Both Legend and Hyrule are considered a duo and actually work together as a team pretty well(plus it’s not too uncommon to see the two of them together either). Legend and Hyrule met when they were kids being the ages 7 and 6 respectively. Due to each other’s influence, they were not as quite alone or lonely compared to their time as the First “Legend” and “Hyrule”. Sure Legend is still technically snappy but Hyrule helps reeling in Legend before he goes overboard(plus is the only Legend is willing to be soft around and not be as snappy. There are others, like Ravio Lorule[and Marin] but Hyrule is the first), and Hyrule has the tendency to apologize for things even it isn’t his fault which Legend helps stick up for him(Legend can’t tell you how many times he stuck up for Hyrule since he knows Hyrule can be too nice to say otherwise, especially when Hyrule says it’s fine and leave it be. Legend doesn’t believe that). However the two will always be grateful and thankful for each other’s presence in both of their lives. Plus they’re quite a fearsome pair when they work together. Also Legend has more than once wanted to punch Warriors in the face for the constant following and guarding the older does(Just because Legend’s technically part of the royal family does not mean he needs someone to follow him like a baby duck), Hyrule always stopped him from doing so. They both awakened to their past memories and powers when Legend notices Warriors isn’t as going as following crazy as he normally does, and actually decides to go confront Warriors about it because it isn’t quite like him to be acting this ‘off’ with Hyrule coming along as well just so Legend doesn’t turn it into a shouting match between him and Warriors. Long story short hijinks ensures as not only do Wild and Wind get to see what Warriors does in this life but who he supposed to be technically ‘watching’ over too, they plus Hyrule get to see Legend and Warriors butting heads. A lot(clear deja-vu for our team as the banter was quite familiar too). Later a monster Gleeok(something both Legend and Hyrule clearly feel a good amount of deja-vu around) shows up and Warriors tries to get Legend and Hyrule to leave/run. Legend and Hyrule obviously refuses as what exactly would that mean for the three staying behind. Wild and Wind already rushes in to transform with Warriors warning them a little too late about uhhh, Legend and Hyrule still here. With both now pretty much in shock. Despite that they do manage stay out of the way fighting till, one of the heads from Gleeok tried to crush both Legend and Hyrule, Warriors and Wild get the two out of the way but is instead nearly crushed instead if it weren’t for Wind’s quick thinking by him using the phantom sphere. Either way Legend and Hyrule have to deal with the fact that Warriors and Wild just saved their lives however regardless both of the two now really want to help out, especially when at some point Wild, Warriors, and Wind don’t seem fast enough to keep up with the monster. The duo become more desperate to help upon seeing Gleeok nearly crushing the three heroes, wanting to be fast enough to save and protect them.
Around this moment both Legend and Hyrule’s past memories come flooding back, plus their powers too. They transform into their heroes forms while also suddenly getting a whole lot faster than before as not only does Legend and Hyrule get the three out of the way very quickly, but also managed to make the Gleeok back off with their powers too. So after working Legend and Hyrule into the plan, they all work together to take down the monster and the new duo use their finisher move on the monster together. Taking down the monster, Legend and Hyrule get a now whole chance to process, well everything(I will not deny they did end up hugging each other greatly after this fight). With Legend and Hyrule being part of the team now, it actually makes things easier on Warriors’ guard duty for Legend as with both of them being the heroes of courage, as this technically means Warriors’ is filling his duty of being a guard to Legend and Legend doesn’t need more random guards that aren’t Warriors to follow him(heck even Hyrule if the other was with him) everywhere either. Doesn’t stop Legend and Warriors arguing about it. Also Legend technically lives in a grand lavish mansion now(still has an apple orchard in the back and cause Legend upright refuses to live in the royal castle) cause he’s technically part of Royal Family(Hyrule even technically gets his own room due to constantly visiting Legend too).
Twilight(Link Twil Ordona)[Age: 23]{Civilian Nickname: Rancher or “Ranch hand”}
He’s from the countryside of Ordon. He only recently moved to Central Hyrule City due to a new job opening that allow him to make more money for his adoptive family at home. He actually met up with someone who actually his blood related older cousin(Time) that allowed him to have this job. He awakens his memories and powers after returning from a job errand he ran before and just so happen to already met the rest of ‘main’ team on said return. He actually gotten along with them alright(thought Legend might have been prickly but gives him the benefit of the doubt, especially seeing the others trusting him so much). Anyway, he went looking for them after getting pretty worried about them from a recent attack by a monster with a weird shaped stone face, a shadow beast.(Doesn’t help Twilight feels an uncomfortable familiarity with said monster too). He shouldn’t exactly know where he was going with it getting dark and he can’t see. However he somehow still know where exactly to go, like being guided by instinct(that strange yet beautifully enchanting woman’s advice is ringing through his ears again) so he follows said instinct. He almost seems faster than normal. He finally gets to the others, and sees the five heroes instead however all five were hurt and can barely get up. Clearly struggling to fight this monster, and yet despite that. Something at him screams “HURRY TO THEM, SAVE THEM” and than Twilight’s eyes almost get more wolf like “PROTECT YOUR PACK WOLF!” and without even thinking he runs to get to them as fast he can, and howls getting both the group of five and the large beast’s attention(and in made it stop it’s approach to the heroes). From this his powers and past memories immediately awakened as he ran to them. He also immediately transformed into his hero form and not a second later that, he immediately shifted into his wolf form and managed to knock back the shadow beast away from the heroes. Plus is the only one to easily navigate through the darkness as well, he has “walked” through it before. With this giving the heroes a fighting chance and Twilight shifting back to his hero form to use his own finisher move on the beast. He nearly collapsed once the adrenaline wore off after seeing the beast was completely vanquished. However It was only after this battle and sees that the others were safe.
He realized something, and after soon leaving the group of five heroes behind(greatly startling them by doing this) , he immediately goes to look for the woman he recognized as “Midna” from his past life. However, she was no where to be found. As if she was never there at all. The others later catch up to him, they all get a proper conversation(Wild already bear hugging Twilight at this point) and lead Twilight back to their home base(while making sure normal folk don’t spot them). They didn’t realize the one Twilight was looking for watching off from far off with a small smile of her own. Random detail though, He still calls his family in Ordon when he gets the chance to as even though he isn’t there in person with them. That doesn’t mean he can’t stay in contact with them. Especially telling them how he himself is doing. Twilight can also tell how eager his adoptive younger brother is to not only getting to see him(especially the rare chance of Twilight coming back to Ordon for a visit), but also it slowly seems more and more likely that the little guy would want to visit too.
Time(Link Kokiri Lon Lon)[Age:*Looks physically around 30 ish but uhh age is debatable for this guy as well, he won’t exactly bother to say nor tell said age*]{Civilian Nickname: “Old man” or “Mr Lon Lon” or “Mask”/“Sprite”Only Warriors calls him this/}
He’s not part of the ‘main’ team and instead served as the mentor to our little group. He is considered to be one of the “legendary cures” and is technically the first of to awaken to his past life memories and activate his powers at literally the age of 16(be glad it was not 9 or that would have been a whole different mess) as he unlocked them saving his girlfriend(Later wife) Malon(who also later get her past memories after the night she and Link got married). He’s more been help protect the city from the shadows and has been able to stay under the radar for quite a long time before he went more official when, well , lynel but before he can get there to transform to save Warriors and quickly deal with the situation, boom Wild, and the rest of the ‘main’ team following suit. Time does get his own chance to shine, not telling you how exactly(*COUGH*Mask festival*COUGH*)
Sky(Link Caelus Loftwing)[Age: 21]{Civilian Nickname: Caelus or “Cal”}
He is also not exactly part of the ‘main’ team and also a mentor for them despite his age. He also considered to be one of the “legendary cures”. Like Time there still moments or events either he or Time or both do jump in to help out the ‘main team’ whenever he can. His small time cafe “The Chain” that he runs with Sun(his girlfriend of at least 5 years, were childhood friends long before that), is actually where the base of operations or “Home Base” for the heroes(what better cover for our team of heroes than to be at the cafe working part time as waiters that just so happens to be very popular with customers). That aside he can technically summon his past life Loftwing partner “Crimson”. Luckily for Sky, Crimson really good at hiding from people that shouldn’t exactly know he exists.
Four(Link Serenity Smith)[Age: 16]{Civilian Nickname: Smith or “Smithy”}
Four here, is considered as our “Sixth” ranger. He actually doesn’t join the team for sometime as originally he’s a very unique case. Unlike the others, his past memories and powers as the original ‘Four’ were separated from his current self due to a very unique case, that unlike what happened with the rest of the original chain. Four’s “self” was still around as a Sword Spirit(who managed to look more human compared to other sword spirits) in the Four Sword(More will or might be explained in separate post). So cause of that Four had a normal ish life(Sure he felt things that were strangely familiar, his thoughts felt like they want to go four different ways. Not to mention the recent “Heroes of Courage” that showed up recently and people began to talk about them left and right, so despite that), it’s all good, not like he has anything to do with the weirdness(No the occasional headaches at weird times that are totally not connected with each other don’t count). Well, that was until he actually finds out who the “Heroes of Courage” were by mere accident after watching his younger cousin transform into “Wind” thus figuring out who the rest were(Four is definitely inner freaking out, this whole time his younger cousin and those odd group of guys said cousin been with. Had been the heroes of courage the whole time. Give him a few minutes), he soon begins to help with behind the scenes as he isn’t capable of taking part of the fighting himself as how can he possibly help out on the frontlines again? Didn’t stop from Four also becoming a part of the group as well too(aka friend too). He only began to truly help out with the battles by awakening to his past memories and powers. This relates to the fact his best friend “Mira”(or Shadow) being forced to work for the villains(More details will be explored on a separate post) and Four was protecting Wind at the time. Four’s defiance in refusing to give into fear or despair allowed Shadow to find the courage to take a leap of faith and throw Four the four sword back after having to steal it in the first place, which allowed Four’s past memories and powers to be awaken. Shadow got pulled under the curse that was inflicted on him because of the betrayal he just did, and Four refused to let “Mira” suffer for something that was never his fault. He immediately transforms and easily falls into his new(old) battle instincts very quickly as he manages to not only be on par with Shadow and the monster that was also there but give the others enough time to recover too, during this battle he did manage to chip off a piece of the control on Shadow however he was taken away before Four could actually set Shadow free from whatever control it was. Four is pretty much devastated(tired too) having lost his best friend to the villains. However he has the others there with him for support, and thus the last of the “Nine Heroes of Courages” are finally back together at last. Four was already part of the group by than so it’s more official now(he did get the very awkward experience of how his own memories are supposed to fit together, at least he wasn’t bedridden like a certain past split of his in his previous life). Side note, he apparently can summon a large bird like creature(Another loftwing like Sky) named “Zeffa” so. Now Four has a pet bird he’ll have to pretty much take care of and not let anyone else(that’s not the chain plus Malon and Sun as well as anyone else that already in on that little “secret”) know he has said huge bird, especially his dad(which is already awkward enough as it is. Four doesn’t need to add fuel to that fire by his dad accidentally seeing Zeffa somehow).

Fuck it here’s part two of
My Ranking of How Quickly I’d Let These Fictional Men Rearrange My Organs
Still BotW/TotK edition because look at these men
You get the point, it’s gonna be hella NSFW because read the title
Oh but also this time I’m formatting the prompts like Stanzi Potenza’s “Animated Men I Would Sell My Body To At a Discount Price, The Discount Being Free Because I Would Never Make These Fine Gentlemen Pay For a Whore Like Me” series on YouTube
Cuz why not
But also this is just me thirsting after the most atrocious and/or attractive men in the Zelda universe
6. Master Kogha
This man may not be a fine dining experience, but he’s definitely worth your time for a banana or two.
A solid six-out-of-ten, the only thing that rivals your hatred for his superhero alter ego is his dad bod that puts furry artists on Twitter to shame.
They say that everything’s better with friends, and this man has a couple that would sweeten the deal, and as it happens, red spandex is absolutely up my alley.
A dork playing glorified dress-up doesn’t sound fun until his devotion to a demon king threatens an entire nation, and I am 100% here for it.
5. Revali
Fun fact, my favorite bird to eat is chicken, partially because I’m basic, but also because I could see myself sinking my canines into that cock.
His aim is im-peck-able, pun intended and unashamed, and he’s certain to get a bullseye into my heart.
I know he’s an egomaniac, but in the deep, dark, crevices of my mind, I know he’s mentally ruined. It’s the lifelong trauma and the “I can fix him” for me.
I love Rito clothing, especially since this man’s version of is the sluttiest thing on earth. After looking at him, I’m certain I’m not getting cold anytime soon.
He could treat me like the scum of the earth and I’d still be on all fours polishing his arrow free of charge. He’s like if a Disney prince realized he was a Disney prince.
4. Daruk
The only Goron I’d let pound me like a quarry, this man has warmed my heart like the fiery maw of his hometown’s tourist trap.
I could write a fifty-page essay about how this man’s kindness makes My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic look like more of a joke than it already is.
I know what I’ve said about Gorons literally crushing me to death, but as long as his words of encouragement are the last thing I hear as he erupts inside of me like Death Mountain, that’s all that really matters.
That loincloth isn’t doing much in the way of covering up his Boulder Breaker, and for that, I thank the weak fabric for its service to our nation. On the plus side, it’s white, so if he ever walks in the rain, that cloth’s purpose in life will have been fulfilled.
The fact that he has a grandson makes him not just a DILF but a GILF. In my opinion, fathers age like wine, so this is a win-win for me.
Combined with his white beard which resembles a mane more than facial hair, he’s like Santa if Santa was somehow both more and less cuddly at the same time.
And I know he’s afraid of dogs, but personally, that’s fine. I’m more of a cat person anyway.
3. Teba
Take everything I said about Revali and multiply it by the “white hair equals sexy” principle, and you have the new Rito chief.
I didn’t think it was possible to find anyone edgier than the spirit inside of the Master Sword, but here we are.
It is taking every ounce of my soul not to say “I can fix him” because clearly, I can’t and he doesn’t want me to.
. I would let him cry his heart out after nearly losing everything near and dear to him. There’s no shame, sweetie.
His wings are long, and I know of a few things that are longer. Given that he has procreated, it’s clear that the hot springs aren’t the only things that’ll be hot and steamy after a night with him.
Speaking of which, he’s a loving parent and a loving husband, which makes him a DILF, and let me tell you, the second that word becomes an adjective, the snow isn’t the only white thing covering the Hebra mountains.
If he could fly me into the skies, I would watch the sunset with him in silence as we realized the real magic was inside us all along or something like that. Whatever makes him happy, and yes, if he asks for it, that includes me swallowing a few of his bird eggs.
2. Tauro
Finally, a himbo the people can rely on.
We love seeing strong, partially-head-empty men being strong, partially-head-empty men.
Only I’m pretty sure this himbo is actually smart.
Idk I haven’t played enough or focused enough in Kakariko to find out lol
This man is investigating the ring ruins but he forgot about the ring he he to put on my finger.
He is giving “I’m going to save the world” and we love that. If you don’t, I see why- I did just say I liked villains- but I’m a double-sided coin.
Speaking of coins, flip one: head or tails? Which part of me is going to need to be replaced by Rauru? I don’t know, and quite frankly, I don’t care.
I personally have some depths for him to explore, and let me tell you, it’s gonna be the cave feeling his gloom infiltrate every orifice instead, and the cave will thank him.
His hair is giving the Hot Topic version of Melanie Martinez, and let me tell you, if I wasn’t a Crybaby, this man would have turned me.
I just love that every single Hylian around is taller than Link. I also love, however, that this man also towers over them too. Honestly, that makes things even better for me personally.
As long as Miss Papaya over there doesn’t realize that Link isn’t half the hero her grandma made him out to be, we won’t have problems. No worries here, chief, just doing some Zonai excavating.
1. King Dorephan
It’s known that this man singlehandedly defeated a Guardian, but judging by his measurements, all of which make the Empire State Building look like a stack of building blocks, it’s not hard to see how.
The leader of the Zora, this man is guaranteed to make any traveler feel right at home- hopefully, between the two logs he calls legs and the other two which he uses for other less savory deeds.
Not that I would mind, he could stretch my throat out to a time when the community will stop complaining about how the company keeps retconning the story with one and turn me into a make seahorse during conception with the other and I’d still have room. I have no shame.
If his son is a ten, he would have still been a ten before inflation.
You have to love a rich man with anatomically-correct shark organs. Jaws was really just my wake-up call after all, but not really because I like my men to talk dirty.
All I ask for in life is for this DILF to stretch me like taffy and squash me like a grape. Once that is achieved, I don’t care what Ganon does to Hyrule- I found my own sacred realm, thank you very much.

Zelgan Thoughts
So, while I'm still finishing up breath of the wild, I'm like on my zelgan fix. So like a botw au where the goddesses decide to have a little fun and have ganon reborn as courage, mostly to spite him. And now everybody's in a uproar because courage has always been hylian. I mean ganon is still himself arrogant and boastful, and everything else in between. But he decides to use this to gain the upper hand.
Also, Ganondorf 100 % would've thrown Zelda's father off the cornices, after he implied his daughter was a failure.
Zelda is like but my father said -
And Ganondorf's like dead serious, just kill your dad.
But -
Trust me, no one will miss him. A little pratricide won't hurt anybody, Princess.
I love it because Urbosa and Ganon would beef like tomorrow. He and Revali would be catty bitches at each other like it's botw mean girls addition.
He would think Mipha's too meek for his tastes, while Mipha and I think Daruk would be more willing to give Ganon the benefit of the doubt. And Ganondorf would find Daruk's friendliness too much.
So like everything is a dysfunctional mess.

Please take my word on this lmfao Riju: What did you do op? Link: A MISTAKE

Cassie: Someone will die. Helpi: Of fun!
—————————————————————
Link: Sorry it took me so long to bail you out of jail. Tulin: Nah, it’s my fault, I shouldn’t’ve used my one phone call to prank call the police.
—————————————————————
Link: Just because I'm too short to reach the lowest shelf in the cabinet doesn't mean you shouldn't watch out for your kneecaps.
—————————————————————
Gregory: *Kicks the door down looking panicked* Vanessa: What did you do? Gregory: Nobody died! Glamrock Freddy: WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT?!
—————————————————————
Zelda: Hey, Sonia? Can I get some dating advice? Sonia: Just because I’m with Rauru doesn’t mean I know how I did it.
—————————————————————
Purah: We need to distract these guys. Link: Leave it to me. Link: Centaurs have six limbs and are therefore insects. Discuss. Gregory, Tulin, and Cassie: *Immediately begin arguing*
—————————————————————
Vanessa: You often use humor to deflect trauma. Michael: Thank you. Vanessa: I didn't say that was a good thing. Michael: What I'm hearing is, you think I'm funny.
—————————————————————
Rauru: Ganondorf, stop! This isn't you, you've gone mad with power! Ganondorf: Well of course I have. Have you ever tried going mad without power? It's boring.
—————————————————————
Glamrock Freddy: How did none of you hear what I just said? Roxy: I’ve been zoned out for the past two and a half hours. Glamrock Chica: I got distracted about halfway through. Monty: Ignoring you was a conscious decision.
—————————————————————
Link: Would you stab your best friend in the leg for 10 million gold? Gregory: You stab me, and then when my leg gets better, we buy a giant house. Tulin: You can stab me too, then we'll have 20 million. Link: Good thinking.
—————————————————————
Cassie: How petty can you get? Gregory: I once edited a Wikipedia article to win an argument I was wrong about.
—————————————————————
Link: Welcome, fellow idiots Purah: Hello, Link. Link: No, no, not you, you're not an idiot. Purah: You underestimate me.
—————————————————————
Link: If you can’t beat them, dress better than them.

I finished Tears of the Kingdom, so here are my thoughts
I recently finished Tears of the Kingdom and wow... wow! The game was beautiful all the way through. As such, I'd like to talk about my experience and thoughts.
DISCLAIMER: this post contains spoilers for the game. Read at your own risk.
Additionally, please don't take my opinions too seriously. I'm just someone on the internet. You don't have to agree or disagree but please be respectful.
Without further ado...
Overview:
Tears of the Kingdom is a beautiful game. Absolutely beautiful, from the designs to the scores to the gameplay. All of it, beautiful.
That being said, it took some adjusting. I missed having the convenience of our elemental and bomb arrows, I missed not having to pay for every time I wanted armor upgraded, and I missed not having to fight against the RNG to get items I needed for upgraded armor. The map did have some changes that took getting used to, and some of my favorite ingredient/monster part hunting spots were no longer there, so that sucked.
But it fits the story, I find. I like how the weapons changed due to the Upheaval (though I'm a bit confused as to how bows aren't decayed), how the monsters evolved and the new monsters that came, and how the Great Fairies function — we learned in Breath of the Wild that rupees gave them power, and I found that it made more sense to pay for the upgrades instead of just a one time payment.
That being said, while TOTK takes place some time after the events of BOTW, there were some things that left me feeling empty. What happened to all the guardians? The Divine Beasts? The Sheikah towers and the shrines? The Sheikah Slate? It just seems weird to me that they would just vanish without an explanation... especially the Beasts.
On top of that, I missed the Champions. I was thrilled to see that Mipha was still a big part of Zora's Domain and with Sidon's plotline, and I love her water gardens, but I was so scared when I didn't see her statue at first.
But to continue, while it makes sense for the Zora to keep Mipha very much alive considering how beloved she is, it felt strange that the other three weren't mentioned at all. Teba has a Great Eagle Bow, and Tulin can create gusts of wind, but no concrete to homage to Revali. Riju had dual Scimitar of the Seven, which Urbosa wielded, but she's not mentioned. Heck, Yonobo is the grandchild of Daruk (source is the Creating a Champion artbook), yet Daruk's Protection has disappeared and he's not mentioned at all.
Don't get me wrong, I understand why they wouldn't be prominent. TOTK is not BOTW, and the Champions and Divine Beasts are no longer the center focus. Still, it feels weird that they were expunged entirely. At least we have those cool helms!
Regional Phenomenon Questline:
I'm going to break this down the way I completed them... which was in the exact same way as I did in BOTW! Why not, it was fun. And also, the first region will allow me to address a big elephant in the room...
Zora's Domain and the Water Temple
Zora's Domain was the first region I completed in both games, and I was so happy to be back. I love the score in the Domain, I just find it so soothing... and it's the home of my favorite fish people!
I found it super goofy that Bazz was trapped under sludge. Like sir, you didn't see that falling? You didn't look up? At least he was ok in the end. King Dorephan being alive gave me a lot of relief. Don't get me wrong, in the trailers I was stoked to see Sidon as king, but what happened to his big ol' dad? I also love his new outfit after he gives his son the crown. Also, I love how to reveal the new statue of Sidon and Link, you have to clean it and then boom — Link riding Sidon statue.
Can I just say I love Sidon's new attire? It looks so good on him. I love the little navy blue addition to his ascots and I'm very happy to see they kept the whistle. Sidon is a big comfort character of mine, so reuniting with him first was like chicken soup for the soul. I also love the water manipulation ability. It's a very cool ability to have and it's very fitting for the Zora (naturally). A little sad he doesn't dual wield spears like he had in AOC, but regardless, he's great. He's great. I love Sidon. He's a card.
Now, with the Water Temple, I found it just a bit underwhelming. It's beautifully designed, don't get me wrong, and I love his ancestor and how Sidon gets his secret stone on his glove and he gives Link his vow (I don't ship Sidlink but that was fruity). But what I found underwhelming was the boss. Compared to the others, having the goofy Mucktorok felt a little... hmm... it was a fun fight, however! I did have fun! For my, compared to Waterblight Ganon from BOTW and the Scourges in the other temples, to me, it felt a little subpar.
Now I've addressed this before but now that I've played through and can make a better statement than my previous one a lot better... let's talk about Yona.
I like her! She's super cute! I have grown attached to her style and her character, and she has such a sweet little theme. My only big issue with her is, I find her to be one dimensional. Now, I'm not attacking her or hating on her. I think Yona as a character has an immense amount of potential, the writing for her is just... a little bland. The romantic subplot with her and Sidon and her story feels lackluster. I think, if they wanted to show Sidon's fear of losing someone else, someone he loves, I have the perfect man for the job — King Dorephan. Dorephan is his father, and the last remaining family Sidon has left. With Dorephan actually injured, I find it would make more sense for that subplot to be about their father-son bond. Maybe after finding out Dorephan is injured and in hiding, Sidon goes to find his father and it's Dorephan who tells him to be strong and to help link. In my opinion, that's more plausible.
Back to my original thought, I wish Yona had more development as a character. It's very clear she means a lot to Sidon and vice versa, but I wish there was more instead of her just being thrown in. If she's his dearest friend since childhood, I would have loved to have heard more about her in BOTW. I just want to know more about her. I want to see more character in her. And yes, to address the whole marriage debate — yes, Sidon saw her as a sister, and yes his feelings "became difficult to quantify." Feelings are changing all the time. In my opinion, it feels weird to someone who considers another family to suddenly fall in love with them. But that's just me.
To the Sidona shippers: y'all rock. While I personally don't ship Sidona, I support y'all. I am in love with all the artwork and writing I have found of them, and the way I look at it, it's more art of Sidon I get to enjoy. This is a Yona hate free zone, I will not entertain Yona hate.
To the other shippers, Sidlink and all: it's canon, we cannot change it. But! AUs exist. Headcanons exist. Heck, if Yona bothers you that much, ignore her all together. Nothing is going to stop you from shipping Sidlink and Sidon with ocs, so please be positive and keep doing what you're doing. I myself will continue making art and writing of my oc/canon ship with Sidon and my OC, because that's what makes me happy. I have some art and stories of them I plan to share, and I really hope you like them too :)))
Rito Village and the Wind Temple
Now, back on track after my tangent about Yona. The Rito Village was the second location I tackled and oh my god, I got a kick out of the kids running the village. I love how they tried to help keep the town in order while the adults were trying to find the source of the blizzard and gather supplies.
I was super relieved to find Teba alright, I know we were all afraid that he was dead or something considering he wasn't in the trailer. But I love Teba very much, and I was thrilled to see him again.
Tulin is PRECIOUS. My little nephew. I love how he looks fully-fledged, and he's such a sweet li'l rascal... and the fact his quiver has his parents' feathers on there, it is such a cute gesture.
Quick aside, I love Penn, but I MISS KASS... where did he go... I miss hearing his accordion.
The Wind Temple, I find, was the most challenging to get to. I remember stacking three Zonai springs together at one point just to get to where I needed to go because for the life of me I could not get that one floating rock. I loved the bouncy sails on the ships. It gave me the kinda vibes a bouncy castle does.
The temple being the Stormwind Arc and not an actual building was delicious. A very nice touch. That being said, I love how different all the temples are: we have one in the sky that's actually a temple, the other is a flying ship, there's a temple in the depths, and then one on good ol' terra firma.
I LOVE the design of Colgera. Granted, I did do the temple at night, so it did scare me just a bit. It was a lot of fun to fight, and the cutscene of the sky becoming clear with Teba on Revali's Landing was perfect. It was a very sweet scene to add, when Tulin received his father's bow, the Great Eagle Bow, and the scarf as a nod to Revali. I wish the bow Teba made for me had the scarf...
Goron City and the Fire Temple
I personally miss that region flowing with lava. I felt it really drove home how hot the mountain is and the environment the Goron lived in, but it's much easier to traverse and it's nice to see there's still lava in the deeper caves.
I adore Yunobo, and seeing him become rude made me so sad. That's not my boy! I wanted my boy back! Making me fight him was not cool! He's such a good, kind character that it legit made me so sad to see him possessed by that mask.
I'll admit... I cheated the Fire Temple. I love the music score in that temple, and I had a lot of fun there, but I'll be the first to admit that I did not care for the mine cart system. I just climbed to where I needed to go. I'm sorry, that system really confused me and my ADHD was having none of it. So I figured I'd just cut to the chase and just climb.
I really like how the checkpoints were gongs, and having Yunobo barrel into them was very reminiscent of how we had to launch him to drive off Vah Rudania in BOTW.
The boss for the temple, left me feeling a little underwhelmed like the Mucktorok. Just break Marbled Gohma's legs and then beat the shit out of it. I can't say it wasn't entertaining though use Yunobo like that as if we were bowling.
The fist bump for the vow was such a quirky touch for Yunobo. I love it. It was really so sweet. And I love seeing Yunobo's resolve to become a stronger individual. His character growth from being a timid Goron in BOTW to now, I'm so proud of him. I feel like a proud mom.
Gerudo Town and the Lightning Temple
The gibdos absolutely terrified me. I ran into them not realizing the were there on my first time going to Gerudo town and I did not think to use elemental anything so when my most powerful weapons didn't make a dent, I panicked. Though admittedly, the moth gibdo wings are very pretty... still terrifying. I'm just glad we didn't have redeads.
Riju is SO pretty. I love her new hairstyle. At first I really missed her long hair, but she rocks her new short style. I've always loved Riju, and her reintroduction.
The Lightning Temple had to be one of, if not my favorite temple. I found it had the most difficult puzzles for me to solve, and I enjoyed that. I found I was using my brain a lot more for that temple than the others... and I died in a lot of stupid ways because sometimes the most obvious solution isn't that clear to me.
As someone who is very afraid of bugs, Queen Gibdo did not do it for me. She very much gave me the heebie jeebies... but it was nice to watch the sandstorm fade away from the Gerudo desert, for Riju to return to the throne room in the town, and for the Gerudo to leave the emergency shelter and return to their daily lives.
Overall the Regional Phenomenal questline was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed myself.
The Dragon's Tears Questline:
This fucked me up. Learning about Zelda's time in the past leading up to her becoming the Light Dragon actually made me cry. It was fun to discover the geoglyphs and have them become a permanent part of the map, but oof... my heart.
I cried when Sonia died, and it hurt so much when there was the scene of Rauru at her grave. All of it was just heart wrenching, especially Zelda became a dragon after Mineru "died" and found shelter in the Purah Pad. When Zelda screamed for Link to "protect them all" as her eyes changed... oof... ruin me.
Crisis at Hyrule Castle and the Sixth Sage:
I think it was pretty obvious for me that the Zelda we had been seeing wasn't really Zelda. Running around Hyrule Castle in an attempt to reach her, only to fight monster forces was not a very pleasant affair, and the Phantom Ganon fights were also a bit of a pain, albeit fun nontheless.
I loved how the Sages came to Link's aid in the end. It made the game feel a lot less lonely. It made me very happy to see them there protecting Link. It really gave you a sense of how much they care about him, and what he means to them.
Finding the Sixth Sage was a lot of running around that I made much more difficult because I forgot the mask when I found it, so I had to go all the way back to get it, and I didn't realize I had to put the mask in the construct, so cut to me spending an hour trying to get the limbs for the robot when the depots weren't activated yet... oops.
I absolutely adore Mineru. She is so pretty, and I love her voice. I love how her character ties in the past and present, and how she fits so well in the story. And riding her construct was a lot of fun... the boss fight for her secret stone took me a hot minute to figure out... I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometime, so when I pushed the Ganon-controlled construct into the electric fence, I was legit surprised that that was what I was supposed to do.
Defeating Ganondorf:
First off, I would like to say I miscalculated how thick the pillar was on the way down into the Depths from Hyrule castle and I shattered Link's body on the side of it the first time I dove down. It was honestly really funny. It also was a strange disconnect at first as I made my way down to Ganon, because I did not realize how DEEP underground Zelda and Link went to even find this formerly dehydrated prune to begin with.
I was... SO happy and excited that I got to fight alongside the other Sages before going to fight Ganon. It felt so euphoric, like the culmination of all our efforts was coming to fruition and we were all finally comrades in arms. It felt way more personal than the fight with Calamity Ganon in BOTW.
Being separated from them made me so sad. It felt really helpless, watching Link being trapped in the cave while the others fought. Like no don't leave me!
But the final fight, from the beginning to the end, was STELLAR. For the Sages to rejoin us and we fight him all together?! Yes please! Granted his second form's extended life bar def gave me Dark Souls vibes, which is one of my favorite franchises (including Bloodborne) so that was fitting. Though watching my friends be thrown to the side had me scared there for a second.
Watching him become the Demon Dragon, as an individual who recently graduated with a degree in animation with a specialty in effects, was so tasty. And to watch it emerge from beneath Hyrule castle... I can only imagine what it felt like to watch it like that... and for the clearly much smaller Light Dragon come to rescue us... chills. Literal chills. The score for that cutscene was perfect. And for Link, in the face of dragon, to draw the Master Sword like no big deal? Incredible.
Fighting the Demon Dragon alongside the Light Dragon, and to watch it be destroyed was incredible. And for Link to receive his arm back and Zelda returning to normal, for Link to finally grab Zelda's hand and hold her as they fell into the water only to carry her out again... I'm a huge Zelink fan, so that made my heart soar.
The Ending:
The ending itself was beautiful. I was so moved when the current Sages gave the same pledge to Zelda as their ancestors had to Rauru, and I legit cried when Mineru moved on to the afterlife. It was sentimental, and beautiful. I don't think I could have asked for a better ending.
Final Thoughts:
This game... was stunning. It was everything I could have asked for in a sequel to Breath of the Wild. And sure, there are plenty of things to nitpick about, but I had such a positive experience, I'm not even going to bother with all of that.
It was a thrilling and fresh experience, and I enjoyed myself very much.
With that being said, I know we're all looking for DLC and another game. In my personal opinion, I think Tears of the Kingdom did a very good job of wrapping up this story. I'm all down for DLC, but I personally think BOTW and TOTK doesn't need a third game. I think the story these two games portrayed, from the story of the Champions and Calamity Ganon to the climax of defeating Ganon and saving Hyrule, is completed with the conclusion of TOTK.
Of course, that's all up for Nintendo, but I am satisfied with this. I'm very happy. I could not ask for more.
If you made it this far, thank you for reading! I appreciate you sticking it out with my silly little ramblings. I really hope you all enjoy Tears of the Kingdom as much as I did, and I am always down for discussions and stuff in regards to this!
Just a little reminder: I'm just one person on the internet. Please be respectful of my opinions!
And with all that, in mind, I hope you all have a wonderful day. And now, to play both games all over again.
Courier out.

All right, I'll throw in an ask. Partly for Carry Me From These Walls, partly for your BotW fic as a whole.
So you have Daruk and Urbosa - and to a lesser extent Teba - as the Adults of the group. Ostensibly responsible and worrying over their charges, yet sharing a chaotic energy that's kept slightly secret.
It's a fun dichotomy. Which elements of that pair are most fun for you to write? And now that I've stumbled into the thought, would formally adding Other Dad Teba to the mix make them more responsible or open new avenues of chaos?
Thanks for writing these characters!
Ooo, this is a fun one!
Daruk and Urbosa's relationship is one that I really wish we'd gotten to see more of in canon—all we really know for sure comes from a line in Urbosa's DLC diary about how she and Daruk "hope to help [the other Champions] see the future." I choose to interpret that as the two of them feeling at least some responsibility for the wellbeing of the others, particularly because of their youth (something else Urbosa mentions in that same diary). So, you've got that, and you've got Urbosa's canonical love of pulling pranks on people important to her, and Daruk's own enjoyment of a little tomfoolery here and there. It makes for a really fun potential dynamic! I don't think I can really say which part of that dichotomy is my favorite to write, because I love both sides of that silly/serious coin so so much, but if you're asking what's the most entertaining for me, it's gotta be the shenanigans. CMFTW Daruk not knowing how cereal bars work and Strength of the Mountain Urbosa not realizing just how badly she's about to be victimized by the laws of physics are both standout moments for me. But I'm primarily an enjoyer of tragedy, and so those lighthearted moments really serve to make the heartbreak feel that much closer to home, and the quiet but steadfast way those two insist on supporting each other through thick and thin means more to me than I can really say as well.
To answer your second question—I honestly have no idea what adding Teba into the mix would do! If we're considering actual BotW canon, I think he's a much more serious character than either Daruk or Urbosa really make themselves out to be onscreen. (Teba was born and raised in a world ravaged by the Calamity, after all, and never knew anything else—Daruk and Urbosa were not.) If we're thinking more SMtWO canon, that dynamic would be incredibly complicated, and I think that while ultimately the three of them would get along, Teba would not participate in anything like their minecart shenanigans.
For CMFTW, though? Who knows! Teba's definitely got his ultra-serious work persona, but he's also the guy who named his D&D character after the beloved chain restaurant Kraken Barrel. And is also the adoptive father of the kid who made Ikea of Furnichar. And regularly hangs out with his very unserious students on purpose. Admittedly, I've done VERY little writing for him in CMFTW—Hope does a fantastic job with him, and might have more to contribute to this very fun thought exercise—so it's hard for me to say for sure. (Pspsps @ofstormsandfire anything to add?)
That was probably entirely more detail than you were really asking for, but also I love Daruk and Urbosa SO much and can't help myself sometimes. Thanks for asking; this was a really fun question to answer!

Feeling a little violent cause I haven’t been able to go like twenty minutes without my wrist brace for like two days, but I’m having random alternate universe ideas and I feel the need to share.
At this current moment i am about to start another tears of the kingdom play through, because the Zelda hyper fixation is returning in full force. And as I often do when I start a new play through of this game, I have had ideas of what characters that I have could fit in what roles.
I’m about to info dump here we go: [Redacted] has so much Zelda energy to me that it’s not even funny. Like the parallels I can draw sure aren’t perfect, but they are fun.
Zelda has what could very simply equate to Light magic, much like [Redacted]. I’ve always been a little confused as to whether or not all the Zelda’s count as the mortal incarnation of Hylia, or if that’s only Skyward Sword Zelda, but still, that is another parallel to [Redacted] and Ludeius. Just the similarities make my brain go brrr in a very good way.
Astris would logically go in Link’s role here, and that’s definitely not a perfect crossover, but it is one that works.
Shalara fits for Mipha, minus the whole crush on Link/Astris thing, and her younger sister Nympha would then logically go in Sidon’s place. Magreius fits for Daruk pretty well, and their younger sister Flamma could work in Yunobo’s place. Then we couple put Fultein in Urbosa’s spot, and her younger sister (so many of these guys have younger sisters I’m now realizing) Navitas could be Riju. Then Revali could be filled by Aura ([Redacted]’s friend who betrayed him as a reminder), while Teba could be Barbs maybe? Tulin and Tempestas ([Redacted]’s younger cousin) have like the exact same energy to me.
Nox could be Ganondorf, and I haven’t mentioned Nox before, but they are the mortal incarnation of Theus, so that works with how Demise and Ganondorf work.
And then Sonia, Rauru, and Mireru are a little more complicated. I have some characters in my notes app who are marked as being [Redacted]’s ancestors, who may play into something later, idk. But their names were Anima (would be a great times like 7 aunt), Splendor (great times like 7 or 8 grandfather), and Memoria (great times 7 or 8 grandmother). So Anima could be Mineru, Splendor could be Rauru, and Memoria could work as Sonia.
I’ve been thinking about this for a while now-
Impa I think could be Lumen maybe, so I could mess around with lore stuff there. Purah and Robbie I have Aestus and Calor in mind, and King Rhoam I think would have to be Nitor, which is [Redacted]’s dad.
I don’t even know how much of this is coherent but here you go-

hi! so I absolutely do agree with you that Revali's AoC art looks way cooler (and more accurate color-wise, etc.) but fun fact about the Champion's Ballad: each champion actually makes the exact pose from their BotW key art in their respective flashback cutscenes, including Revali! so unfortunately, he HAS canonically posed Like That. in BotW. head-tilt and all. (it's when he's talking about Link at the end of the cutscene)
i didn't want to believe this so i rewatched the memory and he does in fact do the ugly pose very briefly at the end. point taken. i still think the pose is a really weird choice to highlight though. for example.
Tumblr media
Image description: A screencap from the Breath of the Wild DLC memory featuring Urbosa. She has her hand on her hip and looks over her shoulder at the viewer dramatically. End I.D.
This shot comes right after Urbosa defeats the Yiga members and it's both a dramatic pose and comes at a key point in the memory and thus is . memorable.
Tumblr media
I.D: The official art for Urbosa from Breath of the Wild. She is in a similar pose as the previous image, with a few slight differences. In this art, she wears her champion's clothing she received from Zelda. End I.D.
This is a great choice for a pose! not only is the pose itself really cool, but it's relevant to the character in the story.
Similarly I don't have problems with Daruk's art, aside from personally disliking the painterly style used in all of the BotW champion art. I can distinctly remember seeing that Exact Shot of him in his memory (I don't remember Mipha posing like her art and it also seems like a poor choice for her but its overall not as egregious to me as Revali's).
I feel like of all of the poses to use of Revali during his memory, the one they chose is the Literal Worst. Why would you have your official art of him be standing on the ground when a key part of his design that sets him apart from the other champions (a la the ganon returning memory where he is the one who flies up to confirm that hyrule castle has fallen) is the fact that he can fly?
It's also a VERY brief blink-and-you'll-miss it shot of him to choose. Urbosa stands in her pose for a few seconds and it's cemented in the viewer's mind. It's a distinct stance that she does, whereas Revali's feels less like a pose and more like a position he passes through while talking. Again, Daruk's is also a good choice because him laughing like that is a familiar sight-- we know him as a hearty laugh, dad who loves to grill, slaps you on the back as affection kind of guy, and his laughing pose brings all of those parts of him to mind.
A better pose to me besides "literally every other shot of him in the memory" could be the one where he draws his bow to shoot the first three targets, or the one where he almost falls out of the whirlwind before soaring back in with renewed energy. both of these moments are dynamic and are key aspects of his personality: his impressive skill and his drive to be the best despite experiencing failures.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I.D: Two screencaps from Revali's Breath of the Wild DLC memory. The first is of Revali drawing his bow in mid-air, loaded with three bomb arrows. The second is of Revali's second attempt at his signature gale, after he almost falls out of it again. He stays in the air and surges back into the whirlwind with determination. End I.D.

I'm probably too late for the asks, but... hmmmmm... idk I found our dads switcheroo and it made me think about Til and Ammon discussing things and trying to figure out what the heck to do next and I think they'd kind of be a fun chaotic duo :)
If I give a kazoo to the Strangers Across Eras crew, who would immediately grab it and make the most unholy sounds with it?
KotG crowd! A and B Teams, who are you team leaders and who are your team jokesters?
*gives head pats to Kori*
Ough yes the beloveds 😭😭 I love the dad switcharoo au sm. I’m sure Til and Ammon would be a fun duo, Ammon is pretty chaotic at times! He would def indulge in Til’s exploration
And yeah it’s… probably Benji, he likes to be annoying with music. This guy….
Team A: the leaders are Impa and Orman cuz Kogha is too childish and Ammon is too emotionally unstable! Of course Kogha is the jokester tho, what a guy.
Team B: Urbosa and Daruk! The two adults who watch over the children. I’d say Link is the jokester, he likes to annoy Revali a lot. And he’s coming out of his shell a little more! Feeling a bit better about the pressure now that the calamity is over!
And Kori accepts the headpats <3

i wanna sleep sooo bad but i dont have time so instead im playing the legend of zelda tears of the kingdom flamin hot cheetos edition
yk whats wild is that like. while the water temple and low grav FUCKING ruled it did not feel like a proper dungeon. neither did the skyship. but THIS feels like a dungeon. even tho i know its only 5 objectives again lol
i really like how theres no boundary between this and the rest of the underworld, which i can see clearly from here. not like the divine beasts - there's no seams
it's also really fun for me & 3 sages to gang up on enemies lol i cant even imagine how crowded its gonna get with 4 (or more?!) of them
the music is such a good callback to oot as well - not any of the same tunes but def the same atmosphere
THE GONGS......this is truly chefs fingers. mwah
I CAN HEAR VAH RUDANIA IN THIS THEME......sick
OH THIS CART THING...i'm fighting the guy like from the trailer 😭

wait this genuinely brought tears to my eyes. he was all ohhhh idk if i can do it but i gotta try and man that gets me right Here
also, if im not mistaken, they used a similar musical cue to when daruk said "you better tell those other champions to eat their gravel if they wanna keep up with daruk" and MAAAAAN 😭
NO MORE MARBELED ROCK ROAST!!!!!!! thank fuck
ok im talking to some npcs and it says "gorons are born of the land" and these guys are "rock brothers" because they were born in the same place...so like what the mountain just spits them out?? really close to my "their dads carve them out of lava" theory actually
ok, i have to quit for now, but WHAT an amazing dungeon, truly!!!

Making a list of my faves to play as to the ones I can’t stand.
Zelda, she’s strong with the bow of light and she’s just amazing in general.
Sooga. He’s strong as hell, and has cool abilities. Like Zelda he’s also amazing in general
Link. How could he not be up here? He’s got a large range of weapons, and he’s just op with them all.
King Roham. Strong, and the guides are fun to use!
Impa. My girl’s got awesome attacks.
Urbosa. The lighting damage is really useful.
Monk Maz Koshia. His attacks are fun to use, and I like the spiny one.
Master Kohga. Each time I play as him I can’t help but laugh and that’s why he’s here 😂
Terrako. Awesome. Love him.
Purah and Robbie. The diving beast attacks are just op.
Daruk. He’s my weakest by far but he’s just strong in general.
Riju. Great potential but her controls are…. Annoying.
Revali. He’s infront if Teba just because he’s sarcastic.
Teba. I dislike playing as him, but I would choose him over the next few.
Sidon. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, but I’m not really a spear person.
Mipha. Eh. She’s…. Her.
Friggin Younobo. I don’t even care if I’ve spelt his name wrong-
Great bloody Faries. Never playing as them again.
Gannon. Don’t have him yet so-
What’s your list?
Ooh fun!! Thank you for this!
1. Sooga. Used to be Link, but Sooga took first with a QUICKNESS. He’s perfect, that’s it. His cutscenes for certain attacks, speed, damage, attitude, it’s all so good. Parrying three times and getting that attack boost feels illegal
2. Link. His range of weapons is so good, and all of them are all cracked in their own right. His spear is heavily underrated and can crowd control pretty well
3. Calamity. He almost feels illegal sometimes. He isn’t that fast while sprinting regularly, but his attacks are nuts. Plus, the little animated cutscenes are awesome
4. Impa. Having all five symbols clears the field with ease, plus her A charges up insanely fast
5. Rhoam and Zelda are interchangeable for me, but Rhoam will take four. The power in his guise change and attacks is crazy, and his speed as the old man is phenomenal. His sprint + X goes SO far and deals massive damage
6. Zelda. Bow of Light is nasty and can also crowd control really well. Having a 196 (currently) bow really sells her for me
7. Teba. I just love him he’s such a cute dad. But his attacks!! He has a really good range of fighting on the ground and in the air, and while the fighting mechanics in the for he and revali are a bit funky, teba felt easier to control
8. Sidon. His employ endless optimism ability is actually good, but I do wish his base strength was a bit better. I like him though and am a fan of fighting with the spear for her and mipha
9. Terrako. He’s fun! And I say that with very little recollection of his attacks 💀 but I remember him being good! He’s just tiny and doesn’t cover a ton of ground like some others
10. Mipha. Surprisingly decent. I don’t remember it now, but I do recall spamming one of her combos and getting some really good damage off in the levels I needed to use her in
11. Urbosa. Her lightning attacks are so good and can be really good for crowd control
12. Riju. Actually good. Takes getting used to, but she’s really good for big damage in tight spaces. Wouldn’t really use her for a lynel or a hinox or something though
13. Revali. My sarcastic king. Also decent, he’s just almost entirely in the air and I’m not super fond of it, despite his area of attack. He’s strong, but controlling him wasn’t exactly my favorite thing
14. Daruk. He’s OK, fairly slow to attack though. I’m sure if I had him stronger, he’d mow down everything. Used him a little bit outside of mandatory things and it was manageable
15. Guardian. Surprisingly decent and used him a little outside the mandatory things. Considering he’s not humanoid like the rest of them, it wasn’t too bad. Unlocking him sucked though
16. Purah and Robbie. Actually good and enjoyed them, I just never used them again 💀 but they pleasantly surprised me!
17. Hestu. He’s ok and some his attacks are fine, but not an ideal choice. Played as him more than Moz 💀
18. Kohga. He’s strong, but his recovery time was way too slow for my liking
19. Yunobo. I genuinely don’t know the last time I played him. What even are his attacks
20. Moz. I don’t think I’ve played as him since I needed to to complete his training, but I remember him being pretty decent! Just never went back to him so I don’t exactly remember or where he should be in the lineup💀
21. Great fairies. I literally hate them

now that i've finished!!! i have THOUGHTS i'm just rambling don't mind me. this is the abridged version of this post because i initially had 12 different points and lost most of my thoughts when i accidentally hit ctrl+z :3 SPOILERS FOR TOTK PLEASE DON'T CLICK IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED.
first. i am ignoring that link got his arm back. i understand why it does that, but i am not keeping nor acknowledging that bit of information - not for a while, at least. the gloom can be gone. ganon can be destroyed. rauru still had to REPLACE LINK'S ARM ENTIRELY. unless his weird ghost arm just… slid on top of link's existing one like a glove. but thats SILLY. i like the cool dragon arm. i want link to start growing out his nails on his other hand and get them done in hateno or something and continue to have cool little claws.
second. i want to write up a page or something somewhere detailing my opinion on Ships. like… i didn't ship zelink really UNTIL botw/totk, and even then, it is purely because of my partner and i talking about/developing some stuff with them. and the more i think on sidlink or even link/mipha the more the zora age starts to make me Question things?? and then obviously, despite my personal adoration for revali, he and link would NOT get along super well , especially romantically? ( at the very least, NOT my link, not without some MAJOR work on both sides ) idk. link ships in-universe are hard lmao give me crossovers or something where i'm not working off the burden of canon (this is only mostly a joke) - also urbosa is a lesbian, and daruk is more like a dad. this is hard. riju is ............ viable i guess but i dont know they also don't feel super romantic. yunobo is his hype man not his boyfriend.
third. the ganon fight was SO fun. i absolutely adored the very end of it; and it felt way more involved than the big pig from botw?? so like even though, essentially, those final phases were the same sort of type of gameplay (very hard to lose, honestly) it was STILL super fucking fun i had such a good time exploding his pustules. how many times now has link stabbed ganon in the forehead.
fourth. other than the arm, i'm excited because the ending really didn't step on the toes of ANY of my vague thoughts for development so far?? like i will still be able to take my link in EXACTLY the direction i was hoping to!! where he KNOWS what responsibility rests on him; and he's quiet because of the burden, but also like… he doesn't know WHY he's the hero. why ganon is the villain. he knows ganon did evil things, he knows he's supposed to hate the man for … well, everything, but he sort of sits on a weird little line where he hates him, but also doesn't understand why he should feel anything at all about him? the hatred is a requirement. he has to hate the calamity. the demon king. even if he's never really met him. even if he doesn't know anything about how they got here. he just. HAS to hate him.
fifth. i am thinking about link's scars. not that he canonly has ANY. but i really want to look over the events of these games, and my own personal playthroughs, and find a few scars to really give him more character. i think that scars can be something SO important. something that can have such a heavy story behind it. like… i'm never gonna forget my first lynel battle, for example. idk i really need to draw him a WHOLE reference i'mj ust fufuckcing tired. might also make an art sideblog for that when it comes to it because i fear my content getting notes.
sixth. i want to chew on every character in this game like a stimmy squeaky toy
