I saw that in the tags of my post about Bariss and Ahsoka you said you think Ahsoka should've been the bomber. So, out of curiosity how would you have had the Wrong Jedi arc play out with this premise in mind?

I've actually already written it and the tag for it is darksider Ahsoka AU.

Basically, Ahsoka is pushed so far in her guidance under Anakin that she just gets fed up with the Order (same general motivations as they gave Barriss in canon, it just makes more sense when it's Ahsoka) and she tries to frame ANAKIN for it so that the Order turns on him and he has to leave. Except that Anakin is better at proving his own innocence than Ahsoka is and it doesn't go well. Anakin figures out it's her but instead of getting caught and sent to prison, he just refuses to leave with her and then basically lets her run and she spends the next 15 years or so just kinda being a loner out in the galaxy, having to hide her connections to the Jedi. I imagine she winds up having to take jobs like bounty hunting sometimes because she just needs the money and work and she's got the requisite skills.

Eventually, she meets up with the Ghost crew during the Rebels timeline and it's the first time she's interacting with a Jedi since the Temple bombing and it hits her HARD (she's been a selfish person kind-of languishing in darkness for a while, but the part of her that used to be a Jedi ACHED when Order 66 happened and has mourned that loss the entire time but she's refused to acknowledge it as such and so it's basically a steadily bleeding wound that never heals). She can't help but keep coming back to them when opportunity allows, even though she's always kind-of an asshole and pretends like she doesn't like them. Ultimately they all end up on Malachor together and Ahsoka has to see Anakin as Vader, but she's SUCH a different person that she doesn't try to stay with him. She's ANGRY when she sees this truth, caught between fury that he only left the Order AFTER she did, that she wasn't ENOUGH for him to leave the Order for, and horror at what he did to the Jedi and what he's still doing to the galaxy. She ultimately just leaves with Kanan and Ezra rather than staying on Malachor and then comes back with them to Chopper Base where she joins the Rebellion on a probationary basis.

This is also the AU where I just roleswapped Barriss and Ahsoka, so Barriss ends up becoming the Rebel spy who comes into the Rebels storyline around season 2. I believe I called her Pyrite instead of Fulcrum, though. She also is WITH Luminara when Order 66 happens and so Luminara is never captured by the Empire and used to lure other Jedi to their doom. I'm fairly certain I ended up having Luminara and Barriss discover and rescue Reva and Trilla from the Inquisitors and took them on as apprentices of sorts, so Reva and Trilla are ALSO Jedi by the time Rebels is happening.

This means that Barriss is around when Ahsoka joins the Rebellion and it ended up a Barrissoka AU eventually.

It's an AU I came back to a lot to kind-of explore how a bunch of different characters are impacted by this change and what their thoughts are on Ahsoka (and Anakin) within this new universe. I haven't come back to it in a while, and things sort-of evolved as I kept thinking on it, so it may not be super coherent, but the bare bones concept is still one I like a lot.

~Anakin Skywalker, Jedi General~

When it's quiet, when it's still, and nothing in the world gives him any peace, Obi-Wan will go back. He tells himself it's the last time, every time. Jedi do not grieve the dead long past their loss. Jedi grieve and let go. Jedi rejoice in life, and look forward to being one with the cosmic force someday. A promise to be reunited with the lost.

Still, General Kenobi goes, more nights than not. Perhaps he isn't a very good jedi after all.

The Halls of Heroes are less of a room, and more like a series of hallways that connect useful chambers. Paintings and relics from eras come and gone line the walls. Warriors from the Army of Light are framed up right next to healers lost to the devastation of temple Ossus.

The walk through these corridors is especially bright tonight, with three of the four moons nearly full. It's light enough the nocturnal jedi out and about are averting their eyes and avoiding the windows. This suits his purpose. He takes the best lit pathways, and avoids being spoken to.

It's for the best, he’s simply not good company this time of night, or in this mood.

As he gets closer, Obi-Wan passes by the myriad tribute to those lost in this endless bloody war, the lives taken in these past eight years of horror. He acknowledges each face, but pauses especially long at the fire-water fountain kept lit at all hours to honor the clones.

Cody…

He cannot linger or he will break, and so he does not. His final destination is between a room purpose-built for conflict meditation, and an incidental meditation corner where the starlight and plants just so happen to radiate very pleasantly with the living force. A little nexus of joy.

Obi-Wan likes that His memorial is nearby it, though he knows a droid charging station might be more appropriate.

The jedi master arrives to the place he should not be, and only manages one syllable of his usual greeting before having to swallow and turn his face aside. He pats the frame instead.

After a long while, Obi-Wan gathers himself up enough to say what he came to say. The one he speaks to had always preferred bluntness, so, he is blunt.

“Well my dear, now that the situation on Ryloth is stable, the council is back to pushing me to take on a new padawan. Yes, still a terrible idea, I know. I've seen this particular cycle happen before, however. My fellow councilors will push those less inclined to take on new learners until either they are paired with a poor match, or-” he pauses to clear his throat, “-or they end up with a padawan they don't want, and the youngling must live with the knowledge that they were never really wanted.”

He sighs, running his fingers along the frame, chancing one quick glance up at the perfect capture of square jaw and mischievous eyes.

“I don’t want them to pair me with a youngling not predisposed to war either. I am still on the front at least once a month. I must have a learner that will not be broken by such a situation.”

Obi-Wan sets his forehead against the wall beside the memorial. “We were so fortunate with Ahsoka. I didn't realize it at the time, but we were just… so terribly fortunate.”

He swallows again, stepping back and hugging himself as he looks up at his lost brother-friend-padawan. “I'm going to the creche today to meet the younglings looking for a master. Guide me? Help me find a padawan that... One that-”

He can't say it.

Obi-Wan turns to lean back against the wall, and spends a little while just breathing.

"I miss you," he says instead.

Skywalkers apart au! It's so precious that Anakin gets to be a dad, a rebellion general Dad but he gets to be there for at least one of them and Padme survives and gets to be a mom and maybe someday they get to meet and it's so good.

Also the concept of General Skywalker of the Rebellion feels like it has so much potential cause he was such a big figure in the Clone Wars, he was the Hero, the General, he could probably get the various splinter rebel cells (they were very divided in the early Rebellion) to follow him by sheer reputation and charisma. Imagine Anakin being at Hoth, like the attack is going along the usual Imperial imminent victory and suddenly an AT-AT has been thrown clear across the landscape and an announcement sounds out "General Skywalker has entered the field" cue Rebel Counterattack due to morale boost and Imperial Panic.

What happened to the 501st here? Did he go to the Venator's crash site where Ahsoka was during Order 66 what did he think when he saw all the dead folks?

Fun thought, Starkiller being the apprentice in this AU, means that Sidious has probably been comparing him to Anakin (in part because he's bitter he didn't fall, in other part cause it's great for fueling the darkside) for years so the first time they face off he's gonna be full of spiteful hatred (all going according to plan) before Starkiller gets styled on by the Skywalker, cause Anakin isn't crippled by the suit and that means he's still massively powerful in the force and skilled in the blade (Vader was too, but less than a whole Anakin), I could see Anakin pulling a Lightside version of the Rogue One Hallway scene against Stormtroopers (or even inquisitors).

Rebel General Anakin Skywalker would be an Imperial Boogeyman.

Leia would probably appreciate it for a while but also she'd get a bit annoyed about her dad's reputation and "Legend" and the fact that she's probably got that entire thing to measure up to, making her more reckless or foolhardy. That's a big shadow to live under.

Padme on the other hand is probably in a very different situation reputation wise, she was the senator for the new Emperor's home planet, she's the old queen of naboo from the Trade Federation attack, she's a founding member of one of the oldest discrete rebellion cells but that still leaves some stigma. She's probably so very worried about Imperial surveilance on her or Luke or the rest of her family, and it doesn't help that the Inquistorious has probably been sniffing around for a while.

ok this is a veeeeery long ask so i'm gonna have a veeeery long answer which is gonna go under this readmore:

YES!! yes absolutely! tbh i decided a while back he never gets an official promotion to general, everyone just calls him General Skywalker for so long that it sticks loll. BUT YEAH I mean working with a Jedi is rare and awe-inspiring enough for any rebellion cell but working with the hero with no fear??? half the rebels are wondering if they can interrupt this mission to ask for his autograph

its extra funny bc for the first few years of the empire he's lowkey depressed and like agh i failed the order republic AND my family i'm a terrible horrible no good jedi who nearly turned to the dark side and while he's having this spiral there's some rebel standing next to him pointing and pogging

and yeah he's SO useful in big battles like that!! he's half a legend, half a ghost story, given most ppl think he died in the Purge but here he is, enacting justice on the empire!! tho he does struggle on quieter missions (which happen a lot more at first bc gotta hide from the empire) that you cant just blaze into. its a difficult shift to go from clone wars general skywalker to rebel general skywalker

yeah 501st same as canon ): but OHHH MY GOD yes thats SUCH A PERFECT IDEA, Anakin going with Rex and Ahsoka to the site and mourning them all (and probably going into another depression spiral lbr)

youre so right lollll obvs leia loves the one up she has in an argument of "well my dad's general skywalker, beat that" but as u say she absolutely wants to live up to that (+ is a very independent/stubborn person and would like Leia Skywalker, not just "General Skywalker's daughter" lol)

AND YEAH ABSOLUTELY Padmé and Anakin's roles in this au are both so interesting (is that egotistical to say) bc they're these upside down versions of their clone wars roles, both very loud people forced to quieten down and be Discreet about how they go abt helping ppl. Padmé is really struggling hiding so much (luke's force sensitivity, her rebel activities, all relations to anakin) and trying to protect Luke while helping the Rebellion WHILE trying not to seem suspicious. a lot on her plate -- only made worse by palpatine keeping a close-ish eye on her, and she can't tell why (is it bc of luke? the rebellion? anakin? or is it just his old favouritism or patriotism being VERY inconvenient??)

on the inquisitors, obvs you don't see a lot of them on coruscant -- but padmé's SO scared abt ppl (MAINLY SIDIOUS WHO, YA KNOW, TRIED TO TURN LUKE'S DAD SITH) finding out abt him and she hates that she's making him repress this part of himself but what choice does she have???

Just some silly little concept sketches I did for the amazing @asteral-feileacan for the Vaderkin Creative Exchange 2024!

These are my ideas for a zombie/apocalypse au where the golden trio are among the few survivors. In my head this would also function as a post/alternative ROTS au, where instead of falling to the darkside he's presumably killed by zombies, making everyone assume he's dead or turned (which is just my excuse to give him a shit ton of scars). Obi-Wan and Ahsoka end up teaming up and traveling the galaxy together, trying to help people where they can while fighting zombies along the way.

I had plans to make a bigger piece but I ended up spending way to long with drawing out my concept ideas, but I still hope you enjoy what I cooked up plus my silly au thoughts. ^^

This is random but I was falling down the rabbit hole that is tumblr, and I came across Star Wars Au's because like every five months the idea of Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Padme, Rex, and like teen Luke and Leia in the fix-it fics latches onto my brain even though I haven't watched anything star wars related in over a year.

And I feel like people are sleeping on a random idea that I love??

So basically Padme survives out of pure spite instead of dying because there's no way she was going to let her kids live in a world where their father is a sith lord. Obi-Wan never takes Luke or Leia to Tatooine and so he doesn't really know what to do with himself because his former padawan is now a sith and he hates that he didn't see it coming but also...HIS PADAWAN IS A SITH WHAT DOES HE DO??

So he decides to go and try to find any other surviving Jedi because hey why not. He ends up meeting Ahsoka, who by this point has decided to help take down the Empire. They reunite but eventually he tells her that Anakin is Vader.

She doesn't believe him at first but after a while connects the pieces and it's tragic and she's upset and she realizes that she doesn't know if she can actually do it. If she can take down the empire while knowing that she is hurting Anakin, who, while a sith lord, she still cares about because they were basically siblings.

Padme ends up helping Ahsoka by giving her the idea of not actually directly fighting the empire but trying to de-chip all the clones. So she proceeds to find Rex again, which leads to her meeting with the bad batch, which leads to them telling her about the kid (Kanan/Caleb) who survived. So now Ahsoka is on a mission to de-chip every clone she can find and Obi-Wan is on his own mission of finding any and all of the remaining Jedi that survived.

Eventually somehow Luke and Leia, having grown up with knowledge of the force and becoming Obi-Wan and Ahsoka's padawans, end up forcibly dragging their father kicking and screaming out of the darkside and back to the light.

But like.

Ahsoka.

Hunting down clones.

Tricking them because she's not technically a Jedi and then they're like wha??? and then she's just like 'also you have inhibitor chips inside you and we need to get them out' and sometimes there's a fight but she's awesome and most of the clones, once freed, are either sympathetic to the rebellion or they at least agree to help her and she ends up having a full on base with special med bays and all this stuff, and even if a clone is freed and still wants to support the empire she lets them, just asks that they don't reveal this place because she knows better than anyone that sometimes the 'good' side isn't right for someone and they need to choose their own path and she hasn't been found by the empire so far.

I just...yeah.

Cause she knows about the chips.

and she could help.

But I feel like her first priority in the actual star wars canon (which honestly, what even is the canon at this point) was taking down the empire and I feel it would change if she knew it was Anakin.

And really, I just like the found family vibes the entirety of tcw has and yeah.

Right now I'm re-figuring which Clone Wars characters will replace the Arcana characters for my CodyWan Arcana!AU and I need y'all to tell me if it makes sense or not or if you think they'd fit better as other characters.

(keep in mind, all character dialogue/interactions are gonna be edited so that they're in-line with their actual characterization--and Cody is going to be the only love interest)

Edit: To clarify, since I just realized this wasn't obvious, there will be no romantic inter-character relationships other than Cody/Obi-Wan and a past Padme/Anakin--all of the other character relationships will be edited to be either familial or platonic

Ahsoka is going to be Portia

At the moment, I'm thinking that Rex is going to take the place of Julian (but a less dramatic and drunk) since he and Ahsoka give off sibling energy--BUT I'm not completely sure about this decision and I'm open to suggestions

Wolffe is gonna take the place of Muriel, I have no real justification for this except for Vibes--so this is also up for debate

The Jedi Council are going to take place of the Arcana (other than Palpatine, who we've already established as the Devil) and the Darksiders are gonna take place of Nadia's advisors

As you might have guessed from the title, this is my 'good data management solves the Clone Wars' AU! Work had me pretty agitated when I put it together, so it's more canon-divergent than originally intended, but hopefully it still holds up.

I started off thinking that the clones, coming from Kamino, would be pretty used to keeping extensive documentation on themselves/each other.  Multiple sets of books, even—the sanitized ones they show the longnecks, the informal tracking of things nobody else cares about, the multiply-encrypted ones with the honest data about how their siblings are doing—as automated and redundant as possible, and while yeah it would be difficult to maintain during wartime, they are 1) the best-trained military minds and logisticians in existence and 2) absolutely not going to pay less attention to their siblings when they’re in more danger. 

For this fic also I focused in on a worldbuilding thing that I actually thought was true a million years ago before I’d ever gotten into any Star Wars nonsense, which is that Lightside users are a sort of filtering system for the Force.  That the Dark was an agent or consequence of some sort of metaphysical entropy—the constant descriptions of it as cold and oppressive really reinforced that one for me—and Force-sensitives would dedicate themselves to opposing it on behalf of the universe.  So they’d be agents and sources of the Light, not only directly combating Darksiders (and more prosaically evil people) but also through meditation (and to some degree intrinsic aura) functioning as something like metaphysical space-heaters.  I was thinking of them kinda through a D&D lens, like galactic paladin-monks.  It made sense to me. 

Under this system, then, not only would things feel cold and depressing around a Sith, but the world would be warmer and more comforting around a Jedi.  To, say, a statistically significant degree.  You see where I’m going with this—what if there was a sweet little chart that proved, mathematically and objectively, that puppy piles around the Jedi general improve the quality of life/life expectancy of everyone involved? 

Such a chart could also indicate a general getting closer to a Fall (Krell more cleanly than Anakin, since Anakin’s baseline will be skewed after the Tusken massacre, and conflated by Obi-Wan and Ahsoka’s recurring presences) or various other ongoing issues in a battalion (Corrie Guard, my beloveds) but we have to start by convincing our ascetic galactic paladin-monks of the efficacy of wartime cuddles. 

Cody hums faintly, and still does not continue.  Obi-Wan has years of practice and does not need the Force to tell him to be patient, that if he pushes Cody now he might miss his chance to hear something important.  The Force tells him anyway.  “General.”  Cody begins again.  “You know the kark you make up so you don’t have to directly answer a direct question?”  Obi-Wan narrows his eyes.  This conversation could be about many things.  The Force tells him yes.  It is unhelpful.  It seems he takes too long to answer, and Cody continues on, delivering further defamatory accusations in his polite semi-formal voice.  “As when you refuse mandatory post-mission checkups, and Helix hunts you down and asks if whatever put the holes in your robes put any matching holes in you, and instead of telling him what he certainly knows, you spin a charming tale about some other poor sap who possibly got shot but is probably fine regardless, no need for any medics who may or may not exist to get involved?” The Force says yes.  Obi-Wan does not roll his eyes, because he is a master of the jedi order and also of himself.  “I’m familiar with the rhetorical construction of a hypothetical situation, yes.”  He replies primly.  “Good.  I’d like to discuss a situation with you, sir, with the understanding that everything I describe is purely hypothetical.”

(also as you can see this is a very fun Cody for me to write, because he and all the rest of the 212th have gone their entire wartime experience with Obi-Wan layering peace/comfort/reassurance over them like a mantle, so he’s a lot more comfortable speaking his mind and I get to lean into my favorite codywan bitch4bitch relationship dynamic from the jump)

Got frustrated with Ahsoka today so have two things I would do to make her more interesting, feel free to take them an make fics and aus as long as credit is given:

Darksider Ahsoka - Consider that the whole warning during the Mortis arc is actually used and Ahsoka Falls, and she becomes a Terrifying opponent because she was trained by Vader, even if in his Anakin's era.

She is a Menace as a Darksider, maybe keeping in the shadows and making every New Republic secret network Unsafe because she helped set them up as Fulcrum. Worried about the Sequels? No problem! Secret Darksider Ahsoka! Everyone top level of the New Republic knows and is trying to Stop Her but Ahsoka was the Fulcrum, which meant Spying and staying undetected, she could totally do that to the New Republic where they can't do Anything to stop her You could even bring Original Trilogy Group (Han Solo, Lando Clarissian, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Chewbacca) back to act as the main heroes! Want the Rebels back too? Have them as one of the people that Ahsoka is Playing and them slowly learning it and joining sides with the OT Group! Also way to fix the live action lekku problem - too long would be impratical? Ahsoka VS Luke lightsaber fight, Luke LOSING Badly and someone grabs a saber - maybe Luke lost his or something - and cuts off Ahsoka's lekku's - saving Luke and resolving the problem. You can have her Come Back to the light side but haver her Choices haunt her after Mando contacts her because he needs help from a Jedi and he lost Luke's Number? She gives him Luke's number because She Can't help him, she doesn't consider herself a jedi even more and the republic won't allow her into any more battles in fear she will turn on them AGAIN

Maybe she is in fucking jail or Can't be put in a jail for whatever reason (maybe she came out as a Jedi survivor and explained everything she did to help the Rebellion to trap the New Republic Even More so they couldn't Act against her in public) so she is watched 24/7 - maybe by the Rebel Crew or Sabine for some reason (hence giving Sabine a reason to be with her and a whole nother stress for finding Ezra! because Ahsoka Can Not Leave Republic Space Or Enter Battles) and is trying to get back to being a Jedi, to clinging to the Lighside/Balance and trying to remember every single Jedi Philosophy she was taught

And also come to turns that Anakin wasn't the best Master for her, that he taught her somethings wrong that she will have to unlearn Alone and try to figure out how the Jedi taught it, what was the correct way to learn.

Because there are no more Prequel Jedi around to help her

Semi-Immortal Ahsoka - we all know that Star Wars media won't let people age - main example being the whole mess with Bo-Katan - and we know Filoni won't let Ahsoka die.

So! Since we know that, how about we take it and run with it?

Ahsoka who became semi-immortal because of being brought back by the Daughter so now she ages MUCH slower and will outlive EVERYONE SHE HAS LEFT THAT SHE CARES ABOUT, who will live to millions

If she doesn't die again that is

Because I'm thinking of like. A timer. That resets every time she dies

(you can take this further and say that she ends up back to the age of when the Daughter rescued her every time shed dies and maybe or not it takes longer every time for her to age past that age)

Ahsoka who learned the hard way how to be The Fulcrum via A Lot Of Deaths that earned her the rumour that she fakes her death A Lot to avoid taxes/jk

Ahsoka who grows afraid of getting the same attachment (as George Lucas Defined Attachment, not the common misconception you fools) problems as Anakin and adding in the fact that no matter what she does she will outlive people so she Stays Away from everyone even more because she doesn't want to go through the pain of losing people

so why get close in the first place?

WIP Wednesday

It’s been a rough few writing weeks and will continue to be until about mid June with life, but I am trying to sneak words in where I can. Below the cut is a bit from the Rebel AU featuring a chat with Rex and Cody.

Cody tried to sleep, but every time he closed his eyes Utapau unfolded around him as if his brain needed to remind him that what he had seen today was impossible. Obi-Wan Kenobi was dead and gone, and the imposter with the gold eyes could not be him. He did not need the reminder. The scene had been haunting his nightmares for years now, burned into every part of his mind and heart.

And now everything had been turned upside down.

The curtain that served as his makeshift door was pushed aside, and Rex stepped into the small space, face etched with worry and exhaustion, and Cody felt some of his anger ebb away to be replaced with concern. The last few weeks had been some of the toughest they had faced in all of their years together, but today, it seemed, was trying to take the prize. Ahsoka’s mission gone wrong, the loss of yet another ship, the appearance of a dead man, and the knowledge that Ahsoka had overheard their conversation sat heavy on his shoulders, and Rex seemed no less affected.

“I saw the light on. Thought maybe you couldn’t sleep.”

“How is she?”

“Asleep finally.” Rex settled on the bed beside him, shoulders and knees touching, and the dam Cody had so carefully built around his emotions threatened to crack because of the two small points of contact. “Hurt. She doesn’t understand why we want to give up.”

“It’s surviving. We’ve lost everything but each other.”

“She thinks we’ve stopped caring for the galaxy.”

“The galaxy never cared for us. There’s no reason to lose what little we have left trying to protect it.”

“You know that’s not how Jedi think or live their lives.”

“Ahsoka isn’t a Jedi. The Jedi are dead.”

He felt Rex flinch at the comment, and he nearly apologized, knowing that at the end of the day, Rex would follow Ahsoka to the ends of the galaxy even if there was not a single drop of hope left to which they could cling. She had saved his life, saved all of them really, but Cody would rather disappoint them both than let them die. Their little family was all that remained, and Cody didn’t want it to be torn apart for a galaxy already lost.

There was silence for several minutes, Rex clearly choosing his next words carefully judging by the number of times he opened his mouth to speak and then let it snap shut. “She thinks he can help.”

Cody launched off of his bed like he’d been burned and began to pace the room, and Rex wrapped his arms around himself and stared down at the floor, refusing to make eye contact with him, telling Cody that he agreed, that the darksider pretending to be Obi-Wan Kenobi had given him hope that he had not held just a few days earlier. It made him want to scream. Instead he continued to walk circles around his small living space until Rex finally grabbed his arm and halted him.

“Cody, sit down. Please.”

Sitting down wasn’t an option, not when he felt like all of the nerves in his body were buzzing. He opted for wrenching his arm out of Rex’s hand instead and leaning against the wall where he folded his arms over his chest and glared at his brother. “How can you trust him?”

“I didn’t say I trusted him. But what if he really can help?”

“And what if it’s a trap?”

“If you were in his shoes wouldn’t you help? Could you look at a failing rebellion and walk away from familiar faces without a thought?”

Cody hesitated. He was ready to walk away from everything, but only if the people he loved came too. Was he prepared to leave if they insisted upon remaining?

i think a lot about sith slash darksider ahsoka in the au where anakin has been darth vader almost since palpatine bought him when he was eight. those bitches are soooooo codependent ahsoka is one of the only people alive who still sees a kind side of anakin lol. or knows vader as anakin at all. naturally palpatine isn’t like happy about it but frankly letting anakin have the girl will just destabilize him worse when palpatine gets around to having her killed so whatever.

in this timeline plo koon didn’t successfully save ahsoka and she has…. a grudge about it…. anakin freed her in the middle of doing something else and she bonded to him like a murderous puppy.

It has been decided that in the Darksider Ahsoka AU, to balance out and foil our newly Dark Ahsoka, there's also going to be Fulcrum Barriss.

Fulcrum Barriss who was THERE to make sure her Master survived Order 66, who refused to run even when Luminara told her to and got them both out alive until they end up bumping into Rex and his little gang of rebels and Rex could probably help lead them to Bail Organa, as well.

Fulcrum Barriss who wants to help rescue as many Jedi as she can and has maybe heard rumors of a place in the Mustafar system where Jedi have been getting taken to die and decides to run a rescue mission there. Fulcrum Barriss who manages to come out of Nur with Trilla and Reva in tow.

Fulcrum Barriss who takes on continuing Reva's training (Luminara's helping with Trilla) because there's just... no one left and Reva wasn't even a PADAWAN yet, she still needs more basic training anyway, something Barriss is qualified to handle. But once Luminara Knights her, Barriss happily takes on Reva as her first Padawan.

Fulcrum Barriss who connects with the Ghost Crew and provides support for Kanan and Ezra, who has them meet Luminara because Kanan deserves to have the support of a Master, too, even if he's committed to teaching Ezra himself.

Fulcrum Barriss who wasn't involved in the bombing of the Temple, but who HAD cared about Ahsoka and considered her a friend and was hurt by her betrayal, but still believes Ahsoka could be better and wants so badly to help her.

Fulcrum Barriss who treats Ahsoka kindly and with patience when Ahsoka makes her way to Echo Base after Malachor and starts working on making better choices, on clawing her way back from the Dark. Fulcrum Barriss who can't help but remember the crush she'd had on Ahsoka all those years ago, the feisty brave impulsive creative young Padawan who'd saved them on Geonosis.

I saw your sithsoka stuff and I love it so much I need to know what kind of sith fashion you think she would wear!! Would she have dramatic makeup? If any at all?

Hmmm I'm still not sure what kinda sith fashion would tickle her fancy, but I'm definitely going through her canon wardrobe to get a feel for what I'd throw on her.

In the Ahsoka series her outfit is very reminiscent of traditional Jedi robes (the obi, the robe she wears occasionally) but a lot less restrictive and designed for combat (pants, no big sleeves, armour bits).

For her sithfit™ I might lean more into the 'made for combat' idea. She's abandoned the Jedi and their whole peacekeeping deal so something more militaristic could work to show that more violent and sithy phase in her life. I don't want it to be completely devoid of her personality though. I might doodle some designs when I have the time.

Dramatic makeup is a really neat idea and it reminded me of Ahsoka during the Mortis arc when she went all darkside. She's got all these cracks in her lekku and darkside eyebags and then I remembered @/stagbeetleboy 's idea of the darkside being some sort of radioactive thing that overtime harms/corrodes it's user and gets em all sickly looking. So maybe some dramatic dark eyeshadow looks + sith eye bags??

Rebels AU: Anakin being a Rebel General and the Rebellion Council hates him.

       Watto was turned into his punching bag. The Rebels needed some parts and had gone to ground and used a resource, only to be ambushed. Anakin use of the Darkside and his fists on Watto hadn’t gone unnoticed and he was now watching the Alien being carted off to whatever the city called a medical center. The actual traitor was an old acquaintance, Greedo. He left another path of carnage in the bounty hunter quarter as he chased Greedo down, defeclting blaster fire like it was nothing. He smeared a cyborg swoopbike pilot into a wall, “ what?” Glancing at Ahsoka as he side stepped down an alleyway like he knew a shortcut. “ It’s good for the scum to know Jedi still live.”

A Saturday Morning Adventure

Read on AO3, a full fic for the natcat AU, in which (almost) all the Jedi are cats owned by clones in a modern setting. There is very little plot.

Rex has had Ahsoka for less than three months. She has escaped his apartment no less than eight times in that period. Rex still can't figure out how his cat is getting out.

The solution is to take her on morning walks.

It seems to be working.

Everything is child-friendly. The strongest swear is 'hell' and the only drug is catnip (because Rael).
