The PureLily hate is honestly so forced it's embarrassing. Like, I get that het ships have always been unpopular in fandom spaces but this is just ridiculous. This fandom has had dumber ships with less interaction blow up and not have anything like this, like AlmFort, which blew up for three whole months before they even interacted. Heck, even DarkPome (the WLW one) has its fans and it's way more toxic and one-sided.

a ship i have with said character: OHHHHHH ive got a lot of thoughts on this......... i really like starpom in aus where pome never betrayed her and meeting starfruit is what convinced her to betray dark enchantress but i cant see them ever working out in the canon timeline </3 ive got kumipom for that (i just think that pome deserves some giant fucking succubus foxgirl knockers. as a treat) and itll always send me how they specifically went out of their way to put kumiho as a positive relationship on her chart for no reason besides really hammering it in that shes a woman liker. i also ship her with toy chica from fnaf in my big dumb crossover au but thats a long story that i do not feel like elaborating on right now

Pomegranate stared into her mirror in silence, watching the underwater city crumble and fade. She sighed and closed her eyes.

"He failed, mistress..." she mumbled softly.

Her mistress didn't lash out...she just started chuckling. "No...no he has not failed me. Not yet. This is merely a set back."

Pom stopped and looked back at her lady on her throne. She was smiling. She didn't seem upset...she was...happy. Her priestess didn't understand.

Her mistress created a gem in her hand and smiled a bit more. "Seafaory slipped through my grasp once...but she will not do so again. And that little lobster," she paused in her sentence and the crystal warpped, turning into a red crystalline claw, "will be the key to it all. Fret not, Pomegrante...the sea will be mine."

Pom bowed as her mistress stood, and she spoke quickly as she passed her. "You always have a plan, my mistress. That is why they will never truly win."

The dark one nodded at her and walked out of the room. There was a pause before she stood and looked at her mirror again...and the cookie being whispered to by his precious pet.

"Selfish little creature..." she growled as jealousy bubbled up inside her. "You don't deserve her attention....."

general opinion over said character: i used to think they were mid as fuck before the dark cacao update (it seemed like their entire arc was just "oh man i got possessed by an evil blood sword and now im evil. fuck me i guess" and i thought it was boring as hell) but after chapter 14 sorta retconned it so the sword just compels them to act on their worst impulses instead of straight up possessing them theyre a lot more interesting to me now. theyre still somewhere in the middle of my dark cookies ranking but theyre chill. i hope theyre having fun in the woods
