I don’t ship beast x ancient, but I find it odd how some people who also dislike that ship dynamic don’t bat an eye at ships like Hollyberry X Pitaya Dragon, Affogato X Caramel Arrow, or Dark Enchantress X Pure Vanilla

I understand “enemies to lovers”, but i find it difficult to believe it works here. Like how could (ancient) grow to love (beast), after all the sh*t they pulled, and caused (ancient) immense harm? Unless they redeem themself somehow? Idk

Tbh this could apply to any of the ships listed above (Not /neg towards any of the ships mentioned, just making an observation)

I’ve yet to find any fan works that succeed in conveying it in a convincing way
