Honestly, i don't think the fandom understands that people who ship minor characters with adult characters or incestuous relationships KNOW the ship is problematic. They also have an understanding that this subject is uncomfortable and that what they are making is uncomfortable to most. But where people get hung up is usually like the WHY and the baffling belief that they may even enjoy making this type of media. Everyone's why is different, but the most common one is Control.

The fun of fiction is that you can have control over the characters and what scenarios you can put them in. If you like PureLily, then it isn't fun to imagine them going through devastating quest and almost dying for their love, but they beat the odds? It's cheesy and romantic, but it's also not real, and no real people were harmed by this story. The latest Toxic Yaoi of Shadow Milk x Pure Vanilla, people KNOW how mentally abusive Shadow Milk is and how that is unhealthy it is. But thinking of twisted and dark scenarios for them to be in is just as fun for some! They are not mentally abusing someone irl and frankly, i would rather they torture a cookie than a real person.

So when people are going, "It's not real, they are just cookies." This is what i assume they mean. Ultimately, EVERYONE IS MAKING CONTENT FOR THEMSELVES! Going around harrassing or bullying someone for your ship or headcanon you don't like makes you look foolish, and your echo chamber of friends telling you "Nah, they deserve it" are also assholes. Because no one deserves to be bullied over fictional characters. The golden rule: Got nothing nice to say. Don't say it. Also, a golden fandom rule: Block, mute, move on. And if you're making the media TAG YOUR CONTENT!! Genuinely, there are things some people cannot handle seeing, so placing a tag so we can block it from our timeline helps.

Anyway, adult lecture over, go make something that makes you happy.

TLDR; People who make fucked up toxic pairs and headcanons know it's fucked up, like you they can do whatever the fuck they want with the cookies! Block, mute, move on. Its better for your mental health.

Like, that man has been who knows how long head over heels for her. Lost her in the most traumatic and emotionally painful way, realized that even that if he adored her he didn't really knew her, and finally got the chance to see her again.

OF COURSE he is gonna be simping to the point of being cringy even for the players. He finally has a new chance, and he is not gonna let it escape again. He wants to compensate all those years they were appart.

And honestly, characters being down bad for someone is best trope. Because you get to see how far are they willing to go for them, how much lovesick and maddly in love are with them. And Pure Vanilla defenetly is willing to go far, he already went to a whole unkwon continent just for her.

I cracked up laughing so hard at this because I genuinely want to know where they got these takes from?? I genuinely wondered if we were playing the same game and story? Because Clotted Cream Cookie does not do any of these things described or they view Clotted Cream in every possible light they could.

I think what the fandom doesn’t understand is that Elders are the ones who kind of let the rampant poverty continue? They build things around their wants the most. Like Clotted Cream is the counsul he has power but he still has to deal with people who may oppose his ideas. Also I’m assuming the racism is about the sea cookies and once again it’s not even Clotted Cream but the Elders being a bit prejudice towards them. Clotted Cream is literally allies with Oyster Cookie, and I don’t think he bothers caviar cookie, and that bit with Dark Cacao gagged me the most because I know you literally did not read or listen to Clotted Cream’s speech. He was talking about how he is concerned about the ancients being unwilling to give up their soul jam was suspect, and he brought up Dark Enchatress/White Lily as an example of an Ancient becoming corrupt. Like the fact you bring up dark Cacao’s “aggressiveness” first got me wondering where your brain had to dig that up and think that of a brown doughed cookie… but whatever am I right?

Anyway it’s valid to dislike Clotted Cream Cookie but not over BS reasons like this. Especially knowing you made half that shit up lol

We need more backstory for the Dark Cacao guys (Aff, Crunchy, + Carrow). Like all we have are vague clouds of an idea regarding their backstories and we need to know MORE. I can understand people thinking Clotted Cream Cookie evil/altieror motives in the beginning. But after meeting his mom, i wholeheartedly believe he would NEVER do anything to disappoint her. Like, if he does go into an evil arc if you tattle on him to his mommy, i think he would stop. That woman is so sweet and sacrifices so much Clotted Cream Cookie! Light Cream Cookie influence is enough to keep him down to earth. This is my silly headcanon ❤️

As exciting as it is to see brand new cookies being added to Kingdom, I’d really love for the developers to add some more ovenbreak cookies to kingdom! And honestly, I expected Birthday Cake Cookie to be added for the 3rd anniversary of CRK.

There’s a lot of Kingdom-only players missing out on some really cool cookies with interesting designs and stories, and I want the kingdom-only players to enjoy them as well!!

So then my kingdom-only friends can ramble about the same cookies as me :]

Call me crazy but it bugs me how people try to make disliking something a whole morality thing. I’m talking about the people who pull things out of their behind claiming characters are a certain way when they’re not. Like claiming a character hates minorities and all that, when the source material doesn’t show ANY of that kind of behavior from said character. That kind of thing.

If you don’t like a character because you find them to be annoying, just say that.

If you don’t like a show or game because it doesn’t interest you, just say that.

There’s nothing wrong with that. You’re allowed to dislike things and not having a 10 page essay on why you don’t like it.

You’re allowed to not be a fan of things, or characters. I’m sick of fandom communities making it so you’re not allowed to dislike things.

You can hate shows, characters, whatever, you can be a hater to your hearts content. Just don’t shit on people who do like those things. Same thing applies the other way around. You’re allowed to like certain characters, shows, whatever, but don’t shit on people who dislike it.

Stop shitting on people. We’ve got toilets for that, guys
