King Red was ready.

He was more than ready.

One night stood between him and was going to be one of the best days of his life.

His wedding day.

All the happiness and joy and excitement was waiting. In the morning Red would rise and be dressed in the beautiful garment he had made. And then he would...he would...his handsome, lovely groom. They would be married, their love sealed with vows and a kiss.

Red was practically vibrating at the thought. He strolled down the hallway to his darling's room. He couldn't help himself. He needed to see Xiaotian. He wanted to bask in this joy with his true love.

He should be getting sleep but he was too excited!

The guards bowed as he walked past. He ignored them as he opened the door to his darling's temporary chambers. Tomorrow night they would be sleeping in the bridal chamber he had personally handmade and that thought was enough to make him drool. "Xiaotian..." he cooed as he entered the parlor.

A loud crash rang out. The bedroom.

The excitement snapped. Absolute fear rolled through him.

Had someone broken in?! Was his darling alright?!

Red practically sprinted to the bedroom, slamming the door open so hard it nearly broke off its hinges. "Darling?!" he shrieked. "Are you alright?!"

The windows had been pushed open.

Xiaotian was on the floor. He was growling as he bit down on the gold on his wrists.

Oh dear. His darling had triggered the cuffs.

"Darling, are you alright?" Red scooped up his love. Xiaotian shrieked, starting to squirm. "It's okay, it's me." He set him down on the bed and pressed his ring. The cuffs clicked and released, allowing his darling to pull his wrists and ankles apart. "What happened?!"

"I was trying to escape," his darling snarled. "That's what happened."

Oh. His darling was still in that brainwashed haze. Red had hoped he would snap out of it sooner. But it seemed he hadn't. But maybe sleep would help him, even though Red had intended to spend the night with him.

And tomorrow...

"Well, I'm sorry if the cuffs hurt you." Red grabbed Xiaotian's wrist and pressed a kiss to it. "You should get some sleep as tomorrow is your big day."

Xiaotian mouthed the words as Red led him to lay down. His eyes widened in realization as he pulled the sheets over him.

Perfect.

"Good night, my prince."

Just wanted to make a short comic of how shan was kind of ya know decided a pon and if thares eny miss spellings I really don't care right know I'm tried and just wanted to draw some cute shit with mk and shan soooo :P also I don't really know how shan was described thare is only one post I think that said shan was consist when red and mk were going to have her but not really why mk wanted her or her brother so thats what this comics doing really and also look at mks tea cup thares a saprise in it :3 (grammar and spelling errors beware)

Oh my gosh it’s been sooo long since anyone’s brought up Amnesia MK 😂 For the unfamiliar: this AU is one where Red Son kidnaps MK but is a little too rough and bonks him on the head, accidentally giving him amnesia. MK, with no memories in that head of his, is convinced that Red Son is his husband and they’re on their honey moon. Of course, this isn’t quite what Red Son anticipated because now he’s wracked with paranoia about MK possibly remembering and realizing he’s been lied to all this time.

I've officially laid down what I want the basis of the AU to be & gotten it worked out up to their marriage. Past that, I don't know. That's why I've never done anything proper with this AU, because like... What's the story once they're married, lmao?

Prince Red AU: Disciple Route

going with "Disciple Route" as the name for this au idea at least until I or someone else thinks up a better alternative. as the title implies this is a bad route for @purble-turble's Prince Red Au, though not exactly a DKR route. I personally feel like Prince Red isn't insane enough delusional in the same way as DKR. I also don't think he is really acting as a Yandere, but that is highly debatable and anyone is free to disagree with me on that point. strongly suggest looking into Purble-Turble's AU for more background context on the Prince Red AU and how we got here. ***** to summarize the core idea of the plot: Prince Red decided to take in Mk as a disciple believing that he could "fix" his self-destructive nature using the same teachings and methods used on him as a child. this includes the five gold bands that were used to restrain and subdue red in his early years. his friends and fellow disciples are brought in on the plan as educators as well. however Red still overlooks their clear bias and dislike of the monkey kid, which leads to a lot of mistreatment that worsens over time. there are two ways currently discussed how this route could kick off, but the one I like best is where Prince Red successfully wins back Mk from Nezha. only to then quickly realize that it was a bad idea on his part. the whole reason he called things off with mk is because of the events of S5 and Mk's mindset. which is still the same if not worse now because Nezha encouraged his self-sacrificing tendencies (due to the lotus prince also suffering strongly from this unhealthy mindset). Red has effectively put himself into a troubling situation, as mk's breakup with Nezha had a huge emotional toll on both. Nezha was understandably heartbroken and has disappeared for the time being and Mk naturally was already carrying a lot of guilt. doesn't help that his friends and family expressed disappointment in how he handled things. the boy is in a very bad state of mind again so Red has to be careful how he handles things going forward. but things can't stay as they are, and they can't go back to how they were, not yet, not until mk fixes himself....or maybe he could fix mk? ***** THERE'S GONNA BE MORE TO THIS I'm working on more details, I'm just starting with this basic summary because I'm super anxious about doing this and overthinking a lot of my writing and formatting. which has me procrastinating on it like a mfer. so if I don't post this much I'm probably gonna overthink myself into just not doing it at all. Anxiety is such fun.

"Please smile, it's your wedding day" said Emperor Azure Lion.

"Please smile. It's your wedding day."

Qi Xiaotian shook his head, tears rolling down his cheeks. He hadn't said a word to Azure since the plan was revealed, and it stung more than Azure was comfortable with. Honestly, he regretted agreeing to give up the boy to Niu's brat, but an agreement was an agreement.

"Xiaotian," he said, cupping his face and ignoring the attempt to pull away. "I promise, he will be a faithful and loving husband." If he wasn't, Azure would make sure to fix it. He had the power to do that now for the boy that had taken up a son-shaped spot in his soul.

"I don't want this," the boy whispered, the plea clear. "Please don't do this. I don't want him."

"I'm sorry, I don't want you."

Azure's claws dug into the red wedding robes, arranging their arms to be linked as music began to be played. "You'll learn to," he said, his voice a bit harsher than he would have wanted. His free hand patted his shirt, where Wukong's tile was hung. "You'll both have to, eventually."

The curtains parted, revealing the altar and the beaming groom.

Hello, I'm glad you opened the request box. I'm so interested in the Time Travel au that I thought if Time Travel Red Son was a yandere and wanted to protect MK alone, I'd love to see that drawing.

This is a unique sort of challenge, since Time Travel Red Son is so explicitly afraid of becoming like Demon King Red, who is a super duper Yandere, that it can only mean something has gone terribly wrong in this timeline and TT Red has all but snapped and become just like the king! And so, I figured he’d start where the king himself did in his downward spiral to madness: with the tightening fillet.

So... A post season five Prince MK take, huh?

Based on this idea, specifically that MK made a plea deal to marry King Red in exchange for his friends and family to live. (this was also during a raid that, at this point, MK thought he could handle. And it was to break TT Red out (he'd never tell him that's why it'd crush him) since he had gotten sent to this timeline, which ended up backfiring... VERY BADLY)

King Red accepted, but promptly locked up everyone in the dungeon and fully did the marriage.

Good news... MK isn't fully dead inside. Bad news, he's still trapped. And now... He's growing a bit too unstable.
