hi. so since my last artwork of the fox and heket, i've had a 'joke' with friends that started with calling it doomed yuri, with the fox being a he/him lesbian. as i've been working on a larger project au (maybe with actually writing a fic), it's. it might not be a joke anymore. wlws your frog and fox.

ok so clearly no one asked but. narcissa malfoy in an au greek myth verse!! here we go baby 🥰🥰 in terms of greek literature i am obsessed with the iliad but i know how niche that is so this is just general lore for all / any time period. narcissa as a daughter of demeter. listen. i know she seems like a daughter of athena at first. but she is a fierce mother first & foremost — she, like demeter, would go to hell and back to retrieve her child if so need be. narcissa is a nurturer, a great gardener, and the glue of her family. i also cannot see her with physical weapons — yes, i know athena is the goddess of war strategems and in contrast ares the god of the common soldier, but even then i don't think narcissa would enter a war unless she was already personally embroiled in it. also . . . in the iliad verse, narcissa as a trojan princess, sister to andromache . . . ? raised in cilician thebe, married to trojan prophet helenus. i also see her as perhaps being captured by the greeks at the end of the war to serve as mistress. her child ( probably son ) pulls an astyanax and gets thrown off the wall of troy. yay trauma!! maybe she gets taken by odysseus. i think she would have bonded well with penelope if enough time passes. i think penelope and narcissa share many similarities. both have hosted a group of unwanted men in their houses; both are extremely loyal to their families; both have a female family member who ran away from home ( helen and andromeda ); living in periods of war; both very cunning. she also probably believes a lot in conventional kleos & narcissa would have been terribly broken down by her being enslaved. anyways that's all currently but best believe i will yap more about it once i get more ideas xx

Ok now the actual thing I've been working on GOD SO THE RISE COMIC RIGHT. Future Raph having these huge fucking spikes towering over his head implies they grow, but in the show two of them have flat edges. SO I WAS LIKE,,, DOES THAT MEAN HE FILES THEM DOWN??? DOES HE NOT LIKE HAVING ALL SHARP EDGES SO HE TRIES TO MAKE THEM FLAT AT ALL TIMES?? Is it bc he doesn't want to look scary?? Do they poke his brothers when they climb on his shell or throw their arms around him when they're sharp so he has them flattened to avoid hurting them??? Those are the ones where they'd be in the most contact with,,, I then got silly with it and went hog. Animation. OUGH. Enjoy
