before laurance realizes that he is genes brother, he can’t help but put together how similar they look, despite the difference in hair color. this troubles him. he values dante as a brother once they become familiar. he doesn’t want to associate him with that man, with what he did to laurance in the nether.

when this fact is revealed, laurance does not see dante any differently. he could never be upset with somebody for their relations. dante, though, doesn’t know what to do with himself. he had noticed that odd way in which laurance would look towards him sometimes. how he would look the other way, nearly skittishly if they held eye contact for too long. so odd for his usual confidence. but before then, he hadn’t known of what gene had put him through. he hadn’t known what it was about him that would shake laurance when they crossed paths in their individual bouts of sleeplessness—until now.

he despised himself for a while. he hated that his face resurfaced so many memories that laurance wished to keep at bay. sure, he never knew laurance before he was turned, but he was sure that whatever his brother had done was responsible for that uncharacteristic flicker of terror that infected laurance’s gaze from time to time.

DP+HEADCANONS

I was browsing through some posts when I found this picrew and thought "Hey, I really like Vall's DC headcanons (or at least Batfamily's), so why don't I make a Danny Phantom headcanons post to match?"

So here we are.

To begin with, let's establish the Everlasting Trio because there's no way, very iconic and wonderful together, and a pinch of Ghost King/Prince Danny.

With this, I like to think that, cuz they're always so close to Danny, before and after the right to the throne, Sam and Tucker, being exposed to the strooong ectoplasm he emits, would become even more liminal than the others Amity Parkers, this with the help of Tucker being the reincarnation of Duulaman and Sam being the heir to Undergrowth (I feel disgusted every time I remember what he did to her in the episode, cuz, personal trauma, so I refuse to accept this canon and that's why in my head he was actually pampering her the whole time to be able to convince her to be his daughter).

Because of this liminality and Danny's strong ectoplasm, they would develop powers and/or the powers they kind of already have of their own would become stronger.

I like to think that with this their appearance would change a little, Danny by the power of Ghost King/Prince and Sam and Tucker by liminality, just some subtle changes but they are noticeable, like for example, pointy ears! (I love the "Danny the elf" thing and yes, I'm going to drag Sam and Tucker into this, nothing will stop me! Except Vall definitely maybe- BUT- but, he likes it too so it's okay).

So, like, I don't think it will change much whether the DP and DC universes are the same or not in your view, but they could be considered metas or aliens or magical creatures(?) to someone outside, it depends a lot on their aura I think.

And you know, as much as I may love the concept of Jack and Maddie "giving up" on their obsession for their son, their beloved child and becoming/triyng to be better parents, I'm kind of corrupted already, you know?

The bad reveal is a classic in this fandom already and sometimes I even find myself like " 🤡🤨😒" when I go to read a fic and it has the tag "Good Reveal" or "Good Parents Jack and Maddie Fenton" which is honestly kinda VERY CONCERNING if you think about it-

But anyway, if there is revelation, it's bad, very bad, vivissection and all.

Also as much as I like a redeemed Vlad, I also like to see him have all the shit he put Danny through come back to him. You know, IT IS CALLED KARMA, YOU BITCH!

Ahem ahem, pardon :)

But for Dan case, oh my boy, I want him to have redemption, I want him to cling to this little drop of a person that is Dani and to do therapy with Jazz. Besides the sparrings with Danny, obviously.

Coming back now, where am I going with this? Bad Revelation, Revenge on Vlad and Dan redeemed? Of course it's the crossover part!

Anyway, then, a mentally exhausted Danny from school fights Vlad, but thanks to the new strength that comes with the right to the ghost throne and Sam and Tucker's new powers (Which I think everyone agrees that for Sam it's like Poison Ivy-style power but to a greater degree not only affecting plants but animals as well, and for Tucker being powers based on those Pharaoh and mummies stuff and such and the classic technokinesis!) he FINALLY manages to trap Vlad in the Thermos, Tucker quickly seals this blessed Thermo in the base of welding and then Danny throws it in Walker's prison.

And then, now tired mentally and physically, he goes home, but oops! he didn't pay attention because of tiredness and got caught in the middle of transformation! And then the basic chase before he is captured and imprisoned in the lab.

But gosh, just his torture (which lasts a long time because Jazz is out busy with... eh, I don't know, and Sam and Tucker are worried and looking, but they are a little far away) wasn't enough, they caught Dani, and he started to despair, because there's no way he's going to let dad and mom Jack and Maddie touch his daughter little sister, but he can't move, can't do anything, and then they catch Dan, and Danny still can't do anything to help them, trying to draw attention to himself doesn't work (Hehe classic angst my dears).

Dani and Dan are so badly hurt by the Fenton doctors that they retreat into the cores, but since the cores are practically indestructible, and the Fentons have never even come close to studying one, their weapons don't work and don't hurt them. So the attendant is back with Danny.

But then Jazz, Tucker and Sam break into the lab to rescue the three Dannies, barely getting out while Jazz stays to slow them down. Some time ago, they managed to close the portal that was in the Fentons' basement and prevent it from working again, so Sam and Tucker have to race with the Dannies to Vlad's portal (I don't remember exactly what happened when he became president of Amity Park, but I'm going to say that he moved the portal to the city with him for pure plot convenience) but when they are about to go through, the doctors arrive, and then there is a small conflict until Jazz manages to push the trio into the portal and destroys it, but in an inadequate way, thus also destroying their home dimension (Yey more angst)

Sam and Tucker then go to CW to seek help. He cures Danny, or at least about 60% because he says he needs to cure the rest himself for his own good, and that unfortunately Dani and Dan won't be able to leave their cores anytime soon if they aren't incubated. So, stop! Danny is pregnant and then CW puts them in the DC universe, it can be in Gotham or anywhere else they want, it doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is that now they will live there together.

And that's where that Picrew I mentioned comes in, since I made the appearances of the Everlasting Trio+Twins Dani and Dan+Surprise for an AU like this.

For me, they arrived in Gotham right around the time Bruce was starting to come out as Batman or when Jason was Robin, I can't decide. But anyway, the fact is, they are in a new universe with Danny at his literal 60% carrying two cores with him, so when they discover more about this world a little with their powers, they decide to be discreet, and even with that, they also let themselves be registered as metahumans to avoid problems if they use their powers, but of course in the records the written powers are much simpler and weaker than the real thing.

Anyway, I think they would all work at WE but in different sectors (obviously), or have independent or simple businesses or something like that.

Now let's move on to appearances!

first of all, Daniel James Shade "Danny" Fenton Nightgale

Here as you can see, Danny has a lighter eye because of the incident, if there was an option for a lightning scar in the picrew I would also put it, this lighter eye of his only has about 75% of the vision.

You have to wear a single lens in that eye, he may not wear it, but it is inconvenient most of the time.

His hair is longer, and yes, I gave him the anime dead mom hairstyle, sue me. His hair used to be black, but over time, because of his great power, and the fact that his ghostly side is bleeding into his human form, his hair has turned about 70 to 80% white. Sam and Tucker like it, Sam says it's cool and Tucker says he remembers some anime character but can't remember who (😉)

The necklace and earring are a set he has with Sam and Tucker.

Piercing just because.

Makeup done by Sam, but is learning.

He also renounces his birth middle and surname, changing them as soon as he could. He only doesn't change his name because he got used to it (of course he did) and cause he learned from Jazz that she was the one who suggested his name.

Nightgale is a name that the Trio invented together and use, so as not to get too big with the three two surnames together.

He is called "Mama" by the children. And "D" and "Darling" by Sam and Tucker.

As I said, necklace and earrings are a set.

She dyed her hair completely purple, but after a while the liminal side of her powers also bled into her form, so now there's green in it, Danny likes it and says it's pretty, Tucker likes it too, but he also calls her eggplantie cuz of it tho-

And as always, she is gothic, and now, she does makeup for others with the help of [surprise, wait a little longer]

She is called "Mom" by the children. And "Sammy" and "Honey" by Tucker and Danny.

Tucker Rick "Tuk" Nightgale

Braided and colored hair, Sam did the braids and Danny helped pick the color.

I made up the middle name because I couldn't find it anywhere.

Now he wears lenses more regularly than glasses.

Makeup done with Sam's help, he knows how to do it himself but normally when he makes lines like that he can't replicate them, but Sam can.

He is called "Dad" by the children. And "Tuk" and "Babe" by Sam and Danny.

Dante Ruth "Dan" Nightgale

Because he was incubated by Danny, he was born with white hair.

He has no memories of before, but he vaguely has some deja vus, his personality remains practically 98% the same.

He is quite influenced by Sam, that's why he dyed his hair her colors.

Piercing just because.

He still has a clear eye with 75% vision because it is a mark on his and Danny's core from the incident.

He helps Sam with the makeup with [surprise, wait just a little longer]

Glasses because you don't really like the idea of using a single lens on your eye, so you prefer glasses with two lenses of different degrees, it's more comfortable.

He is called "Dan", "Dandan" and "Dear". And also "Big brother" and "Bro".

Eleanor Dawn "Ellie" Nightgale

No problem with the eye because was born a halfa even though she was a clone cuz she didn't had to die and revive to, so there is no mark on the core.

Born with white hair because she was incubated by Danny.

Like Dan, he has no exact memories of the past, just deja vus, and his personality has remained largely intact.

He is more influenced by Tucker, so he dyed his hair his color.

They wears sunglasses almost all the time, even at night, because 1) she likes them, 2) he feels cool, 3) they wanna have something in common with Dante.

When it's "she" she goes by the nickname "Ellie", when it's "he or they" he goes by the nicknames "Dawn" and "Noir", Dawn more commonly, but Noir is when he's with Dan, so as not to confuse the two. But she is also nicknamed "Little sister", "Big sister" and "Sis". And "Muffin".

They was born from Sam, and just biologically speaking, the father is Tucker.

And that's it! I chose for the Trio to arrive between Batman's first year and Robin's time! Jason so that the children would already be born when Damian's time as Robin arrived cuz of shenanigans. :D

Like, just imagine if Ezra becomes friends with Damian, to the point of knowing about his family's night business, or already knows. And then some typical problem happened with a being from another dimension and when Dami vents to them, Ez is like "Oh my daddy can help you!"

And instead of them bringing a sorcerer or warlock or wizard like everyone thought it would be, Ezra brings the FUCKING DAMN HIGH KING OF THE INFINITE REALMS.

her eyes moved to the hidden door in scarlets room, body tensing. she quickly got up from the bed, ready to do something if it was needed because in this magical game, nothing and no one could be trusted.

when she saw the body enter the room, her shoulders relaxed, but the furor in her eyebrows just deepend, "julian?"

"where's scarlet?" he asked. the question came out a little raspy and breathy, and her eyes noticed that the boy did not look well.

pushing her emotions aside that yet again, it was her that was on his mind she replied, "she went off. wanted to look for clues, get more information about if someone has seen tella," the girl's eyes went to his head that seemed to be covered in blood, "are you oka-".

her words were cut off, "what are you doing here?"

y/n's gaze stayed on him as he moved across the room towards the bed, where she was standing beside it. julian placed something on the soft covers. earings. scarlets earings.

remebering his question, her face tinted, feeling a little embarrassed. was it bad that she was here? she had her own room, while scarlet and julian were forced to share, since they put on an act of being an engaged couple. even though they didn't stay in the same room (their decision because it wasn't real), right now, it felt private. like she was invading something.

she didn't like the heat on her face.

it was julian. the sailor boy who arrived a month ago to trisdas island. the boy that donatella introduced her with. her friend. so why on earth was she feeling like a no one in front of him?

since caraval it had been like that. the coldness. maybe y/n was overthinking it. she had a gift for it, but everything seemed to be around the dragnas sisters. it wasn't like she despised them. they were her adored friends, together since childhood. but why was the game suddenly about them? what was so special?

"well, umm," she cleared her throat, "i came here to see how scarlet was doing, but she was already leaving. she said that i should stay here just in case something happens while she's gone."

there was sufocating silence after that with plenty of distance between the young people.

her eyes returned to his wound.

"it's not that bad," the boy gave a light grin.

she met his eyes that had that playful and careless glint. after some seconds, she went to the bathroom to grab a towel and a basin, not believing him. when she returned, she asked him to sit on the bed.

while y/n was treating his head, julian stated, "remember, it's only a game." but the words went past her, as she continued to carefuly help him.

after a while, she cleaned and put away the things before returning in the room. julian was on his feet now, looking out the window at the beautiful city below. the girls chest filled up with warmth as she saw the boy in the moonlight, but it was pushed aside when his previous state came to mind, "so what happened? and, please, don't lie."

he turned around, still a little uneasy, "scarlet was fussing about those things," julian looked at the bed.

y/n's gaze went to the earrings, and before she could think the words already slipped out, "you know she's engaged, right?"

her cheeks burned, as she felt his eyes on her. after some silence, she heard him reply, 'i know." but the gaze was still burning on her.

"you don't have to hurt yourself for her. she has a count that would be happy to help her and give her everything she needs."

"just thought she would appreciate it."

of course she would! and she deserved all the brightest items! and those earings were very special to her - they were her mothers.

but y/n couldn't help the heavy, stinging feeling in heart. she loved scarlet dragna. yet, she did not love how much julian was thinking about her.

"yeah," she raised her eyes and met his, "i'm sure she will," it came out more tense than she intended.

julians lips curved into a more noticible smile, "no need to be jealous. for you, i would be delighted to do more than just bring back old jewelry."

"i am not jealous."

"lying is definitely not the best look on yo-" he suddenly swayed, and the girl rushed to his side.

her arms went to his shoulders, as she tried to help him stay up, "are you okay?"

"splendid," a whisper left his lips.

the girls cheeks were burning, as his beautiful caramel, brown eyes were still on her. their faces so close.

he looked at her like she was the one. like he needed her. wanted her. and it would have been a wonderful thing to get swepped in, but the recent events and the distance spiralled in her mind again, making her put distance between them, "you should lie down," y/n stepped back.

"stop running away," his arms wrapped around her waist, pulling the girl back.

her hands went back to his shoulders, steading her. her chest to his. and his hands burning through her dress. "i'm not," she breathed out.

a small grin formed on his face, "lying seems to be our new way of communicating, huh?"

"well, isn't that the purpose of the game?"

"if you're refering to caraval then yes," he leaned closer, as his hand traveled up her back, leaving goosebumps on her clothed skin, "but this certainly isn't a game for me."

she was barely able to stand on her feet. his hand went to the back of her neck, gently stroking her soft skin with his thumb. the touch made the butterflies light up in her stomach and her head to become heavy from all the sensations.

she opened her mouth, a whisper leaving her lips, "but-"

a soft chuckle escaped him, "it amazes me how other ladies are on your mind while i'm here with you. risking everything because it's impossible to stay away."

y/n didn't notice that her knuckles had turned white from the tight grip on his shoulders. aftaid that this was a fantasy. that he will disappear.

she breathed in when his hand slowly moved to the side of her neck, and his lips ghosted her temple, "i shouldn't be here."

her head was pulsing as his thumb lightly brushed her lips. "i'm gonna get in so much trouble for this."

the soft, tense whispers were going to be the death of the girl. her mind was clouded by his touch, so she couldn't quite grasp what he was saying. she knew the boy in front of her had his secrets, but that didn't make her not want him. she couldn't help but lean more into him, desprete for something.

julians hand was still on the side of her neck, "i don't want you to do something you will regret," he whispered, stroking her cheek.

her eyes met his, "i won't."

after the final stroke on her skin, he covered her mouth with his own. she felt like her body was about to burst in flames. his hand on her waist pulled her closer, like she was about to vanish and he didn't want to let go.

warmth spread from her chest to her fingertips. time seemed to pause, the world around them fading into a soft blur. the kiss was tentative at first, a gentle exploration filled with the sweet thrill of newness. but when his lips pressed harder, y/n let out a soft sound against his lips, tangling her hand in his hair.

she knew there were a lot of mysteries and questions waiting to be solved, but in that moment, everything else fell away; all that existed was the soft brush of his lips against hers.

the kiss tasted of pleasure. of desperateness. of something, neither y/n nor julian wanted to let go. she felt both vulnerable and invincible, as if they were the only two people in the universe. so they let their personal fights and the darkness disappear, as they both let the new beginning wash over themselves.

DMC5!Dante x Demon!Reader being the "cool relatives" headcannons

-Ever since he met you, Nero was fond of you. Unlike all the other overbearing adults he'd met in his life, you were chill, you were relatable; you were a lot like him.

-When you and Dante married, he expected you two to start asking to be called some deferential title, but nope! You remained on a first name basis and just acted like you normally did.

-Of course, you couldn't help but treat the kid as if he were one of your own, giving him rides to places when Nico took the van out, buying him fun gifts for his birthday and other holidays, and bringing him home cooked meals.

-Dante on the other hand buys him pizza, plays video games with him, occasionally comes over to rock out, and makes him laugh whenever he feels moody.

-While Nero saw you both as important members of his family, in the end, you weren't his parents. You're stuck being the cool relatives, but not the cool parents. You would never be cool parents--or parents at all.

-Dante knew how much you longed to be a parent with little gremlins of your own, and understood that the current state of things prevented that from ever happening. Still, he wanted to make your dreams come true and make parenthood a reality.

-He doesn't know how it would be biologically possible to do so, and though adoption is worth considering, Dante knew you would prefer to have biological children that would hopefully inherit some of your traits.

-There is the option of using black magic to make your dreams come true, but that comes with it's own set of risks that might outweigh the benefits.

-This is a very touchy topic that neither of you want to bring up, but someday you will have no choice but to sit down and discuss it. Hopefully by that time,you'll be more willing to adopt, or Dante will have discovered a solution. If he can't, then you might have to just live your lives, forever doomed to be the lovable relatives everyone looks for at the family gatherings, but never parents with your own kids.

Just remembered an older spn finale fix-it fic concept and gave myself brain damage....

Dean succesfully rescuing Cas from The Empty and dragging him up onto the shores of Purgatory (why does Purgatory have shores, and why does one connect to The Empty? I don't fucking know, ask Dante, he implied it), Dean half-carrying the still-unconscious angel deeper into the woods, searching for a spot with thick brush and good cover, gently leaning Cas against a tree to clear a small area for a camp, set up warding, build a firepit and lean-to and weave a canopy of branches over the rest of the space for concealment and warmth, giving a final, increasingly hopeless, attempt to rouse Cas before lifting him and carrying him into the lean-to, easing him down onto a bed of leaves, glancing outside the shelter one last time to check for danger before settling in to assess Cas' condition more thoroughly

Cas waking days later to crunchy leaves and pine boughs, rain spattering on branches overhead, scratchy camping blankets and Dean

Dean checking the warding around the site over and over when he has to find food and water and leave Cas alone, worrying himself crazy every second until he crawls back into the lean-to and sees Cas' chest still rising and falling - Cas is too out of it to worry, he knows Dean will come back, maybe he doesn't even realize he's gone-

Dean spoon-feeding Cas broth out of camping cups, because he doesn't know if Cas needs to eat now, if he's human or something close to human, or even what's wrong with him but he does know that Cas, his angel his boyfriend is cold, way too cold right now, and Dean needs to change that and if he has to get under the blankets at night to keep Cas warm, then that's what needs to happen too, and he doesn't feel weird or awkward about it at all and absolutely isnt thinking about how this could be in a better world where they weren't hiding and Cas wasn't sick (NOT DYING. he is NOT dying) from some after-affect of The Empty that Dean can't understand.....

Cas isn't thinking of any of this, he's confused, the dark waters of the Empty still surging inside of him, dredging up jumbled memories, the worst regrets of so many previous vessels and previous lives, time moving in no particular order, pain, fear, grief, but in between it all there's the smell of pine and dirt, and rough-warm hands that bring a hot cup of soup to his lips, and a face and name that he knows he can trust- Dean- whoever that is

the intimacy rooms were good as always 🥹 r2 had them doing handjobs to each other. starts off with eiden being his teasing self but dante gets the upper hand by calling him goshujinsama (master)

eiden makes fun of dante getting jealous but then dante retaliates saying how eiden always flirts with anyone, then leading to their iconic childish bickering

literally started rolling in my bed when he did that. GODDDD I love it when dante surprises eiden

storyline goes like this: an obsessive customer kept trying to talk to eiden and dante gets jealous. typically I don't like jealousy plots but this one was cute and silly <3

something something and then that leads to them fucking in this room of all places. (idk about them but the dante balloon would immediately turn me off lmao)

Hi who wants some Sparda twins angst?

I have an AU idea taking place during the first novel (aka Dante’s Tony Redgrave days) because it’s a story arc in the DMC series I love so much.

Basically the idea is that Dante/ Tony finds out what Gilver looks like underneath his bandages sooner and he immediately recognizes him as his brother. Of course he’s not actually Vergil, at least in current canon where it’s been confirmed he was just created by Mundus based on Dante and Vergil’s fighting data.

Dante would be nothing but overjoyed to find out his brother is alive because this would take place before the DMC3 manga where the animosity between the two started. Considering Gilver manipulated everybody into trusting him, I could see him using this to his advantage to make Dante trust him.

I think Dante would immediately go annoying little brother mode and want to spend as much time with “Vergil” as possible because we know he was always trying to play with him as kids in VoV + he just wants to make up for lost time and never wants to lose his only family left. And I imagine his mental state would be a lot better knowing he isn’t alone.

Then when eventually Gilver betrays him and he finds out he wasn’t really Vergil I think it’d be more tragic because Dante had hope for a future with his brother by his side and said hope would get crushed just like that along with Grue, Nell, and Jessica’s deaths taking a toll on him.

Segundo, isso só me faz pensar ainda mais em como ter mais do paranormal do que da realidade dentro de você te afeta.

Imagina o Arthur sentindo cada vez mais dificuldade de controlar suas emoções, afetando até o jeito que ele pensa logicamente. Imagina ele tendo reações intensas demais e acaba machucando alguém e se arrepende amargamente. Imagina ele tem crises sensoriais por causa de uma situação que antes ele ficaria bem. Imagina ele morrendo de medo de virar um monstro.

Imagina Dante não sentindo mais nada em relação a morte de outras pessoas e sem conseguir entender o luto dos outros. Imagina Dante perdendo cada vez mais contato com as próprias emoções e reações ao ponto de nem saber direito se tá sentindo alguma coisa. Imagina Dante envelhecendo cada vez mais e ficando cada vez mais frágil sem conseguir fazer nada sobre isso. Imagina Dante sem perceber que o tempo passou e entrando em pânico porque não consegue entender mais as medidas de tempo.

Imagina a Carina se olhando no espelho e não conseguindo se reconhecer. Imagina ela sem conseguir sentir nada por muito, muito tempo. Imagina ela manipulando as pessoas sem nem perceber e só reparando tarde demais que acabou machucando elas. Imagina ela só conseguindo sentir medo dela mesma.

Imagina o Rubens tendo crises de ansiedade, hiperatividade e tiques aleatoriamente e sem conseguir se acalmar por nada. Imagina ele sentindo os membros cada vez mais metálicos e/ou rígidos. Imagina ele sem entender os próprios sentimentos e pensamentos. Imagina ele lentamente perdendo a lógica e tomando decisões cada vez mais caóticas e insanas ao ponto de nem se reconhecer mais.

Esse lance de transcender eu acho que é muito mal explorado e devia ter mais coisa sobre isso.

sometimes i think about how lucia was probably so lonely on Dumary and when dante showed up and helped her she thought she gained a friend all for it to just be a business kind of partner ship

like no wonder why lucia was so heartbroken...like even if its canon that she likes him romantically if we go to the platonic route it just shows that dante doesnt see in getting close to her as a friend and just wants her in arms reach, for business only. I would've been heartbroken too when the only person who would've understood my wants to protect the world only wants me as a business partner and not as a friend or maybe more is just....*EXPLODES*

but i feel like after lucia telling dante they should part ways he felt a lil guilty, just like how he was guilty in missing patty's birthday, so i feel like after the events of dmc 5 he would atleast ring up...or visit dumary, maybe even send letters/gifts to lucia or matier just to show he cares in his wacky way
