Peach Flower House danmei is officially closing down. Known for licensing danmei to the west, with titles including Golden Terrace, Little Mushroom, In the Dark, Peach Blossom Debt and The Imperial Uncle, PFH will continue to be holding a sale up until site closure on the 30th of November. So if you live in the United States or Canada, I highly suggest grabbing whatever copies are left while you still can!

Once this stocks gone these books will likely go out of print, meaning that the only way to purchase them will be second hand. For those outside the USA, check with other online retailers for danmei, as these titles have been released through other stores also. Go and grab those novels so you can continue to enjoy and share them in the future!

Qiang Jin Jiu (The Ballad of Sword and Wine) Truly Mesmerizing!

Qiang Jin Jiu (The Ballad of Sword and Wine) by Tang Jiu Qing, has officially been taken and published by Seven Seas Publishing.

将进酒 Qiāng jìn jiǔ, which literally means 'let's drink wine', is translated as "The Ballad of Sword and Wine" in the official English translation. I've been rolling myself on the bed for the few days I first read this because of how aesthetic and tantalizing the title translation is. I love it so much.😤❤

Ever since the 1st volume came out, it has stirred big fuss over the fandom because of Xiao Chiye's expression and sexy body lmao.🤭

Not mentioning Shen Zechuan is as beautiful as ever..😏✨

And it has again been made a big fuss because the 2nd volume cover is revealed today--

A truly, different vibe and color palette used compared to the 1st volume! ✨✨

For me personally I really love the way Xiao Chiye's eyes is overlapped with Meng (Xiao Chiye's bird pet) which makes Chiye's vision even more sharpened and overwhelming.

Meanwhile, Shen Zechuan's eyes just practically seems ready to draw out your fear-- if we readers really read and take adventure in this 2nd volume. Truly menacing, but I love it!!!❤❤

It looks like Zechuan will kill us if we dare snatch a glance at Chiye omg 🤣🤣

Moreover, Zechuan wears the red robe as his position keeps pushing up. Oh geez, he's truly suitable with white and red! ❤✨

For all her faults, at least it could be said that Jiang Ou never claimed to be a perfect mother - or a good one, for that matter. She is always aware of her faults, especially when it comes to Tian.

She met her ex-husband in her youth when everything seems as lovely and pink as a full-bloomed rose. Unfortunately, love cannot buy food or any of the necessities for their little family to survive. So, despite having a young child who needs all his mother's attention, Jiang Ou was forced to work.

Ou remembers when Tian was still a small child, how the ribbons on the sleeves of her work uniform would somehow inexplicably get untied. It was only later, (after a much needed self-reflection) that it occured to her that the ribbons always get that way after she lulled Tian to sleep before going to work. It seems that the three-year old Tian would grab the ribbon tightly before going to sleep — like a silent plea to Ou: Please do not leave.

When Ou and her ex-husband officially separated, it became much more harder to stay home and care for Tian. They needed money to survive and Tian's father is not always available to care for their son. So, she reluctantly sends Tian to her own mother, despite the old woman's increasingly failing mental state.

But even when they made her mother wear a string with Tian's name and photo, the old woman still cannot recognise the kid. Thus, Ou was forced to let her son stay with a kind old neighbour who treats Tian like his own grandson.

So, when Ou meets the wealthy Sheng Mingyang and kindles a romance, she promised herself that she will bring Tian with her to that big house - and she will care for him and cook him dinner, just like how she would have done all those years ago. Ou can finally give her only son a stable, complete home. Tian would even gain a brother, with Sheng Mingyang's son.

This is why Ou cannot comprehend why her son is choosing to live in the school dorms, away from her. Is it punishment? Is she too late to repair the relationship with her son? Is Tian having a hard time staying in another man's home?

I don't want to keep seeing my son carry a suitcase, and move into another place yet again. I've seen it too many times. My heart aches.
