I wish Megan hadn't died in Re-animator.

In my head she lives and is hunting Herbert and Dan down to put an end to the experiments and kind of avenge her dad. She's become proficient at following the trail of blood.

Once she finds them, she tries to kill Herbert and pleads for Dan to let her do it. It's unclear if it's because he's just against letting Meg kill someone or if he is trully choosing Herbert over her, but he pushes Meg away from West.

West pulls a gun on her and she flees. When she gets to the rat-infested motel room she's currently living in, she catches her reflection in the mirror. She's covered in blood.

Some is West's, some is Dan's, some is from the creatures in the basement. She realizes that she is becoming more and more twisted the more she keeps following them. Like being in the mere proximity of West is contaminating her, making her violent like all his other experiments.

But can she stop? When she is so close?
