I don't know if it was rhetorical, but I wanna hear the Pokemon x danganronpa au

Ok first ever question yee :]

Anyway keep in mind I know nothing about Danganronpa but was slapped with the idea.

Basically, it would be Pokemon Hope and Pokemon Despair.

In Pokemon Despair, the star Junko Enoshima has ruled over the region with the Pokemon of Despair. She has an army of the Despair warriors that keep people in line (these are the Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair characters since I know they where fragments of Despair).

The protagonist of this game is Makoto Naegi and/or Kyoko Kirigiri. They travel to each area controlled by the Goodbye Despair characters and free them from the control of Junko. In the end the protagonist would find the Pokemon of Hope would be freed and fight against Junko and Despair.

(I imagine two different endings. The fail ending leads to the Goodbye Despair characters trying to rebuild a safe area together- while Junko continues her rule and gets new warriors)

The good ending leads to Pokemon Hope.

In this one it takes place after these events. Makoto leads over the region with his counsel. The Goodbye Despair characters have taken there own jobs but have also become Pokemon gym leaders (technically they also spy on people to see if there are Junko supporters)

In this one Kaede Akamatsu and Shuichi Saihara are the protagonist. They have joined a new school for pokemon training but are shocked to find out someone in there class is searching into ways to revive Junko soul and free the Despair pokemon. Now they must race against the clock to stop the fall of the region again.

I'm still working on this idea, gotta look at the wiki of Danganronpa more lol

Honestly there are tons of characters that fit this vibe, but these are most that I can think off the top of my head
