My new campaign’s party is made up of a wild magic sorcerer, a drunken master monk, and a domain of trickery cleric. We haven’t even had a session zero to make backstory’s and get the character on the sheet, but I already know this game is going to be chaotic.

I found a great drawing prompt list the other day called 'Dungeons and Inkwells' where you roll dice to get an interesting combination of D&D race and classes. I don't know if I'll manage another monthly challenge any time soon but I thought I'd roll up a couple of possible ideas just in case inspiration struck and well, it did. As soon as I rolled 'Warforged Druid' I just knew exactly what to draw; a long abandoned construct, lost to the elements until one day, decades after the war it was created to fight in, it wakes up and finds that the plants that have colonised its body have imbued it with powers. I can totally see myself using them in a campaign one day if my current characters snuff it! XD Drawn entirely in Clip Studio Paint, pose reference from 'Magic Poser Web'

So, in playing Curse of Strahd, we literally set the carriage that Strahd sent for us back to him on fire. As a message that we didn't approve of how he was running things in Barovia.

The DM asked us Players how attached we were to our characters after the session. 🥴😂

Ice Walk. The dragon can move across and climb icy surfaces without needing to make an ability check. Additionally, difficult terrain composed of ice or snow doesn't cost it extra movement.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Actions

Multiattack. The dragon can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d10 + 8) piercing damage plus 9 (2d8) cold damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d6 + 8) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d8 + 8) bludgeoning damage.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Legendary Actions

The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.

Tail Attack. The dragon makes a tail attack.

Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw or take 15 (2d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.

Look. People.

This isn’t mine (like... AT ALL). But it’s amazing.

An entire D&D campaign of NDN people. (That’s Native Americans for those who may not know.) So far there are literally 2 episodes. It’s been great fun watching brand new players learning everything from which dice are which to what it feels like to defeat foes. Or get knocked unconscious. Or deal with a small mob.

The cast was in the chat for the second session, since it had been prerecorded. It was a Baja Blast going back and forth with them. They’re all amazingly talented people!

I’d really like to see them stick around. Take a look. Spread the word. Seeing them grow as big as some of the other D&D casts would be amazing. Let’s do this!
