Kali Yuga

In Hinduism, Kali Yuga is the last of the four stages the world goes through as part of a 'cycle of yugas' described in the Sanskrit scriptures.

The "Kali" of Kali Yuga means "strife", "discord", "quarrel" or "contention" and Kali Yuga is associated with the demon Kali (not to be confused with the goddess Kālī).

Average human height is 3.5 cubits (1.6m), and lifespan is 100 years.

According to the Surya Siddhanta (Puranic sources), Krishna's departure marks the end of Dvapara Yuga and the start of Kali Yuga, which is dated at midnight (00:00) on 18 February 3102 BCE.

Based on a starting year of 3102 BCE and a duration of 432,000 years (1200 divine years), Kali Yuga began roughly 5,121 years ago and has 426,879 years remaining as of 2020 CE. Kali Yuga will end in the year 428,899 CE.

Major Characteristics are as followed:

Avarice and wrath will be common. Humans will openly display animosity towards each other. Ignorance of dharma will occur.

Religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, physical strength and memory diminish with each passing day.

People will have thoughts of murder with no justification and will see nothing wrong in that.

Lust will be viewed as socially acceptable and sexual intercourse will be seen as the central requirement of life.

Sin will increase exponentially, while virtue will fade and cease to flourish.

People will become addicted to intoxicating drinks and drugs.

Gurus will no longer be respected and their students will attempt to injure them. Their teachings will be insulted, and followers of Kama will wrest control of the mind from all human beings.

All human beings will declare themselves as gods or boon given by gods and make it as a business instead of teachings.

Weather and environment will degrade with time and frequent and unpredictable rainfalls will happen.

Earthquakes will be common.

Many fake ideologies will spread throughout the world.

The powerful people will dominate the poor people.

Many diseases will spread.

At the end of Kali Yuga, lord Vishnu's 10th avatar, lord Kaliki will take birth on earth to wipe out the sinners.

The above were written in some ancient Hindu texts and only part of descriptions. Although some of us feel that "this is the end" already, we still have 426,879 years remaining, and it sounds like mankind will get alot worse. James Cameron's movie 'Terminator 2' might come true towards the end.

すべての人間は自分たちを神、または神から与えられた恩恵と自称し、それらを伝道するのではなく、収益を目指したビジネスとするだろう。

天気と環境は時間とともに劣化し、頻繁で予測できない降雨が発生するだろう。

地震は一般的になるだろう。

多くの偽りのイデオロギーが世界中に広がるだろう。

権力者たちが貧しい人々を支配するだろう。

多くの病気が蔓延するだろう。

why is it that every time there’s a dance-focused evaluation, it seems like the coaches are out to kill him?

he understands the logic and reason behind it, of not only having enough stage presence and charisma to be able to really be seen on stage, but to also blend well together as one cohesive unit. he’d always known this, had always believed in it, which is why he’s been trying to improve his dancing all this time, but results are moving slower than a snail’s pace, and this month’s evaluation has got him on edge. has he even got anything to show in his dancing for the over two years he’s spent at trc?

with a groan, he makes his way over to a familiar figure, leaning into minho, pressing his back against his. he’s exhausted all of his energy, going full out at a hundred percent all through the conditioning and the lessons and the practice, and now he’s starving. with dinner but a mere few minutes away, the only problem is that he can’t seem to take another step---but that’s exactly where his good friend, old buddy, old pal can step in and save the day. “can you carry me to the cafeteria? my legs have rebelled against me. such insolence!”

          ariel does actually know some of the convex songs   —   meaning don’t at her as in @ her for knowing certain songs the most, i.e. the vocal unit songs or a certain someone’s lines, but this does feel new to her. essentially collaboration stages but, alas, nothing to do with that person in particular. instead, ariel feels a certain apprehension towards it if only because of haseul’s dance partner in particular. she wonders if haseul knows . . . about jennie that is and she doesn’t especially think haseul needs to know but it is interesting how someone’s existence continues to weave into that of those around her. even more so intriguing is that haseul was chosen. 

          it isn’t that ariel thinks haseul is a bad dancer. on the contrary, she thinks haseul and her have come so far ( because they had a lot of room to grow but whatever ) but that she knows how haseul views her own dancing and having the spotlight in such a way. no matter if it’s her own element, a singing stage, haseul shows doubts in her own performances and ariel is often saddened by the idea, about as much as she scolds haseul for not being more confident. so she stops by the practice room she knows haseul was still in and peeks her head in, wiggling her brows as she asks, “ everyone decent in here? ” despite knowing haseul isn’t practicing with anyone at the moment. how often will she get to joke about this kind of situation?

Most people know that Bear lives in the Big Blue House with - Pip and Pop, Ojo, Tutter and Treelo - and other little creatures. But many people don’t know that there are other larger creatures in the Big Blue House too. They live beneath the floor (a bit creepy I know). Now and again you might see traces of them especially when big things are happening. They also had interesting names - Peter, Tyler, Vicki, Kroupa, Jacobsen, and even Bear was known to hang out with a guy named Noel (something about Christmas I think).
