After my 4 years of dance training, I dived back into Capoiera and picked up some yoga, I started experimenting with elements of Caribbean Dance and this is what I found: #EarthflowDanceClasses A movement practice based on the foundation of Earth as a playground and space/sky as the place we Flow. ________________________________ Earthflow Dance Intro Sessions Will be a breaking down of the elements I believe are important to becoming more able I'm executing dance sequences effortlessly stylish and comfortable. Session 1 Strength Will be focussed on core, shifting the full body and getting to know your centre of gravity. Session 2 Flexibility Will be focussed on release, stretching, use of weight in movement and expansion of your physical facility. Session 3 Stamina Will be focussed on physical persistence, cardiovascular testing, repetition and breath. Session 4 Agility Will be focused on response, reaction, adaptation, speed and efficiency of movement. Session 5 Coordination Will be focussed on multiple isolated movements, testing our embodied awareness, expanding the mental facility of movement.
