you were dancing along the music with your girls when you suddenly felt a presence behind you. you were in a crowded club with some friends to celebrate daniel’s return to the grid as a driver for alpha tauri. you turned around to face the guy who clearly was seeking your attention and you smiled when you saw a cute blonde guy smiling back at you. the two of you started dancing together, his hands on your waist and yours around his neck. he was cute, and you could take him home with you but something was off. your mind tried to think of why but your heart already knew.

suddenly, the guy was ripped away from you and pushed far back. you blinked in confusion and saw daniel, now standing in front of you, he glared at the guy before returning his attention to you. his usual warm smile was gone and his eyes were now cold. "what is wrong with you?" you yelled over the music. he didn’t respond but instead he grabbed your wrist and dragged you out of the crowd. he ignored your complaints and finally stopped when you two were now in the parking lot. "care to explain what’s gotten into you, joseph?" you crossed your arms. he took a step closer to you which made you frown and almost take one back. "he was too close to you for my liking." you scoffed and laughed at his answer. "so what? you’re not my dad." you rolled your eyes and tried to go back inside the club but daniel blocked you again. "then what am i to you?" he asked in a low tone, sending shivers all over your body.

"daniel. you’re my-…" he cut you, closing his eyes and pinning you against the wall. "say that we’re just friends, i fucking dare you." you looked at him, completely lost, your cheeks were burning hot because of the way he was looking at you and how close the two of you were. your lips remained shut as you didn’t know what to say, you knew daniel your whole life, he was your best friend, your favorite person on earth, basically your soul mate. in all those years or friendship you did question your true feelings for him, but you never crossed the friendship line. what you had with daniel was too precious to ruin it because of your feelings. "say it, y/n." he repeated, you swallowed and closed your eyes, keeping the eye contact was way too hard for you. you couldn’t see it but seeing you being so flustered made daniel smile, he was happy to see the effect he had on you, and that his feelings weren’t one sided like he feared. "can i kiss you?" you opened your eyes and nodded slowly. daniel gently kissed your lips, his hands resting on your hips while you wrapped your arms around his neck, pushing yourself against him. the kiss grew more passionate, more eager.

you dreamed of that moment for years, you couldn’t believe that it was finally happening. you were kissing your best friend, and it felt right.

My sweet

Julian definitely is an older sibling (literally made a 3 post long argument on how he is one so TRUST he is). His favorite memory of his little sibling is when they first said his name. The small ‘Julian’ mumbled in multiple breaths (ju..julian yk) made him pause his homework and look them straight in the eye. They stared back with a big, innocent smile. Julian broke out into a smile of his own and grabbed the little guy for a hug.

Julian has such a carefree relationship with his mom, he gives off such mama’s boy vibes. They are a duo that would stay up late watching tv shows even though he has school in the morning and his mom has work. When his mother would cook something Julian was always her taste tester. He lost count the amount of times he would go back for seconds just to “get a better taste” and receive a wooden spoon to the hand. Julian’s mother would adore his girlfriend, especially since she can tell what a good impact you have on her son.

Julian would work well with someone who has a lot of energy but doesn’t need to be monitored or babysat. For example, say he is out at an amusement park with his friends and significant other. His girlfriend sees a game stand that piques her interest and hurls away from the group to investigate with determined steps. Julian isn’t worried about her getting lost or in an altercation with someone. he knows she’ll be back soon and give everyone a detailed report of the stand, the game set up, and the prizes offered. Whether or not she will ask him to spot her some cash to play the game is a whole other story. (Brother is loaded just from playing football)

I hate him

Pathetic man baby vibes

Chris is very aware of his personal hygiene and is ridiculously active in taking care of his body. He has a personal massager, esthetician, chiropractor, waxer, the works. He loves his physicality too much to let himself rust in any capacity. He almost never skips brushing his teeth or washing his face. If he isn’t fueled with a type of passion or desperate enough, he won’t kiss you in the morning until you both at least have some mouth wash. He carries two different deodorant scents in his practice bag. This is nice because you know he won’t ever smell bad, but sometimes he becomes cologne nose blind (especially on high end dates).

He has a beef with Americans. (I don’t know if he’s confirmed English but he is today) He doesn’t mock them or become outwardly rude to them, but he’s thankful to be in the European League and not the North American League (is that a real league? Google isn’t helping and I don’t know shit abt professional soccer leagues-) Chris goes bonkers when someone jokingly calls him an American; as he will be whining and waving his arms about how he’s so much better than them and how it insults his legacy to be compared to an American and not be acknowledged as an English man.

When his hair isn’t cooperating with him he cries out of frustration.

Lavinho loves the feeling of dancing with his partner. It’s intimate and free, no matter what style nor if there was music or not. Lavinho is so fond of holding your hips and gently swaying the two of you in the silent hours of the night that he has a pep in his step when he walks home from practice. Your scent filling his nostrils, the heat he can feel coming from your neck and shoulder as he rests his head there, it’s all too perfect as he begins to hum a song to himself.

Lavinho would want to get a tattoo reminiscent of you. If yall ever were that serious. At first he was thinking of your name, but you shot that down quickly. Something more primal and colorful was more his style. He wants something that represents you, though. Y’all compromise on a couple things that fit both of your wishes. Your favorite flower, a kiss mark, and a woman dancing with a pair of wings emerging from her back. (Picture this omg. The woman could be bowing, in the middle of a dance move or smth and the wings are halfway out of her back. Or something like the woman looking up and outstretched and welcoming to the feeling around her. With the wings spread out powerful and graceful. Okay I’m done I’m done)

Lavinho loves being barefoot. If he can’t be barefoot, Lavinho is wearing open toed shoes. Chanclas, flip flops, Birkenstocks, doesn’t matter. He grew up like this, and doesn’t quite want to conform his freedom and customs to the world of Europe yet. Even if he has been living there for years. He gets so happy at feeling sand under his feet as well, it reminds him of his younger childhood days in the best way. (This is prolly canon bc the first time we see him he’s barefoot right?)

Italy’s Ubers: Marc Snuffy

I don’t like him but I don’t hate him-

He says ‘shitty brats’ too much in the same breath at the end of the Ubers vs BM match I think he unlocked his previous degradation kink or smth idek maybe that’s why

Okay focus

Mick Moon’s death still haunts Snuffy. He hasn’t truly let it go, and even though he seems to make progress during the Ubers vs BM match, he has a long way to go to fully come to peace with his best friend’s death. Most times Snuffy can’t drink alcohol without thinking of Mick and becoming guilty. All the thoughts of how he could have saved Mick from his fate, how he did try but it wasn’t enough, how he allowed for his best friend to ruin his own life- even though that meant Mick stayed true to his philosophy. It hurts Snuffy. It’s the main reason why Snuffy cares so deeply for his teammates now, and why he goes out of his way to make sure they are okay mentally in his own way.

Snuffy wasn’t that interested in the luxury of lust that came from women when he first started out on his dream to being a professional footballer. It wasn’t until Mick that he started indulging in being a lady’s man. While it was almost always lustful and physical, the women that tugged at his heartstrings were the ones that would compliment Snuffy’s nose. The ones that would hold his face to their chest and give him slow, loving kisses to his nose while their hands moved further up into his hair. The ones that knew his eyes were actually orange and not brown and how those women looked into his sharp, big eyes like he was the reason for all their happiness was surreal. Those instances it would become all too real for Snuffy. The lines between lust and something more would get blurred and blurred until he got scared and backed away and moved to the next lady in the next club with a smaller smile than before.

Snuffy is very proud of his black belt in Jujitsu. Especially with the way it helps him on the football field. His understanding of his own body and abilities mean more to him than the average person too. Also because of Mick and how Mick ignored his body both before and after getting let go as a footballer.

Germany’s Bastard Munchen: Noel Noa

My man my man my man

Let me give you a big smooch

Noel sunburns so easily. He never tans, he always burns a hot pink. He has but an ounce of melanin in his skin that prevents him from being totally albino. Because of this, he is very serious and methodical about applying sunscreen. He applies daily, especially when he knows he’ll be outside for practice or a game. He also isn’t that fond of costal activities because of the sun exposure, even more so because he can’t swim that well. (OMG I read a little blurb about Noel not being able to swim but his wife loved to I don’t know who wrote it but it was so cute I’ll try to find the writer)

He does interviews for football, but finds them rather bland and not that important. He likes to discuss football strategies and profile analysis he’s done of other players, but most of the time reporters aren’t that interested in his words. They always want to know more intimate details about him, it feels like to Noel. Just not his exact cup of tea, but he knows other players are always willing to talk in an interview so he leaves the chitter to them if he can. He likes for his actions on the field to speak for him.

Noel makes an effort to acknowledge stray animals if he can. The cat sitting on the restaurant sill? He gave it some head scratches before continuing his walk. The dog that always lays in the same sunny spot of concrete on the sidewalk? Noel has given him some water just yesterday. It feels as though he’s paying homage to their sacrifices by giving them small acts of domesticity as he was once a stray too. He still feels like one sometimes. At night when he’s awake in his bed thinking, he ponders the possibility of taking one of the many strays home with him. He won’t allow himself to though. He can’t stoop so low as to take an animal into a home that he knows he’ll be absent enough from them (his football commitment sigh) to not properly take care of them, his head reasons, even if his heart wants him to act so unrationally.

A/N: Alexandra Lenarychyk is my FC for Ethan & Kaycee's daughter, Emma. She recently posted a photo of her and a friend as children and now... and this idea was born. I hope you enjoy it. @choiceschallenge-may2023 | falling in love, childhood friends.

It felt like the rain hadn’t stopped all week, and Kaycee officially had enough. As she white-knuckled the steering wheel to avoid a large puddle in the middle of Storrow Drive, the meteorologist speaking on the radio nearly did her in.  

… one more inch of rain, and we will have a record! And trust me, we’re getting at least another inch of rain today! This will officially be the wettest week in Boston’s history!

“Of course it is! I’m glad he’s so happy about it! But this is just….”

While Kaycee was becoming increasingly flustered, Emma was unphased. Blissfully smiling at a text she just received, it seemed like nothing would dampen her mood. But as her mother began spiraling, Emma slipped her phone into her pocket to offer an assist.

“Mom,” Emma interrupted. “It’s going to be OK. The party is still three days away. Let this rain get out of the way now.”

Kaycee turned to her daughter with a weary smile.

“But Emma, it’s supposed to rain Saturday, too.”

“So? Does the venue have an indoor space available?”

“It does,” Kaycee sighed.

“Well, there you go.”

“But it’s not as nice and… I want this to be perfect for your father. We all do.”

“I understand. The Ethan Ramsey finally agreed to retire….”

“Well… retire as much as the Ethan Ramsey can,” Kaycee laughed. 

“True. I’m still astonished he even agreed to this party!”

“There may have been some arm twisting involved,” Kayce chuckled. “The Board really wants to honor him for all he’s given to Edenbrook through the years, but he would never agree to it. That’s why they called me in.”

“Smart move,” Emma grinned. “No one can convince him to do something like you can.”  

“Or you,” Kaycee replied. “You’ve had him wrapped around your fingers since the day you were born!”

“So, you see! We’ll both be there, and everyone else Dad loves will be, too. That’s all that matters in the end. It will all work out, Mom. It always does.”

Kaycee squeezed her daughter’s hand as they approached a red light.

“You are a smart young woman,” she beamed. “Your parents must be so proud of you!”

“Yep. They taught me well.”

All that worry was for naught; Saturday arrived, and it couldn’t have been a more glorious day. The sun shone in the azure sky, and not a single cloud was found on the horizon. A delicate breeze wafted the scent of roses through the air, and no wonder, it seemed every bud on the Eastern seaboard was adorning the patio where Ethan’s retirement reception was being held.

Emma was sitting alone at the table, nursing a glass of rose. She couldn’t help but smile as she watched her parents in the distance, laughing, socializing, even dancing… she had never seen her father so at ease. If only the same could be said for her. Her eyes anxiously ricocheted between the entrance and stealing quick glances at her phone. The pattern repeated until, finally, a warm glow spread on her face. A tuft of dark hair was all she saw at first, but she didn’t need anymore to know that it was him. Before he even saw her, she was at his side, playfully pulling him behind a flower wall and lovingly peppering him with kisses.

“Emm… mmm.”

She silenced him with a kiss, and as much as he wanted to pull away, he knew resistance was futile. The man was putty in her hands. Still, his warm cocoa eyes shot open when he remembered where they were. He had to retain some control, at least for now.

“Emma…” he whispered, gently pushing her away. “What are you doing?”

“Isn’t that clear?” she sang in response. “I’ve missed you, Julio.”

“It’s only been two days,” he smiled as Emma mocked indignance.

“Are you saying you didn’t miss me?” she pouted.  

The young man couldn’t keep a straight face but managed to keep his laughter low enough to avoid attention.

“Has anyone ever told you you’re impossible, Emma Rose?”

“Mmm, frequently. But you love me this way.” With a playful kiss, she nudged him forward. “Come on, let’s go join the party.”

While Emma was happily on her way, Julio turned pale as a ghost. Reaching for her hand, he brought her to a halt.

“Emma… you’re sure this is a good idea, right?”

“What?” she questioned with a tilt of her head. “Julio, we’ve been best friends since second grade. My mother invited you personally… how could there be a problem?”

“The problem is… I’m not just your best friend anymore.”

“Oh, that’s a problem,” she winked coquettishly, and Julio looked like an impish schoolboy once again.  

“I’m glad you find this so amusing,” he snickered. “Just promise you’ll visit me after your father lands me in the hospital.”

“Mmm…” she hummed with a wicking grin. “At least Dad’s retired now, so you won’t have to worry about seeing him. Uncle Tobias or my Aunt Sienna will take good care of you after you’re admitted.”

“It’s so much fun being in love with a comedian,” he smirked. “You know, if law school doesn’t work out for you, it’s a valid career choice.”

“I agree. But seriously, Julio. Six months is long enough to keep what we have under wraps. It’s time to let the whole world know.”

“I agree, mi amor. But… maybe your father’s retirement banquet isn’t the best time and place to make the announcement?”  

“Well, it’s not like I’m telling him before his speech,” she grinned. “That would be stupid. My Mom is going to be over the moon.”

“Yes… and your dad is going to kill me.”

“My dad loves you,” she laughed.

“Your Dad loved your best friend, Julio. He loved the little boy who always ripped the cheese off his pizza to give to you because he knew you loved it so much. He loved your friend who jumped in to take you to the prom when whatever that asshole’s name was….”

“Roy.”

“Yes! When Roy stood you up at the last second. He loved the man who hopped in his car to drive from Hopkins to Princeton in the middle of a blizzard just to make sure you were OK after your accident.”

“Well, he did think that last one was a little idiotic.” She put her hands on her hips and did her best Ethan imitation. “Son, while I appreciate what you did. But Emma was already safe, and you could have been killed!”

“I could have been,” he said, brushing a stray curl from her face. “But did he think I could hear that my Emma was in the hospital and I wouldn’t move heaven and earth to get to her?”

“Mmmm, but I wasn’t your Emma then,” she teased.

“You were always my Emma.”

Overcome, Emma leaned forward, and the young couple’s lips met in a passionate kiss. It wasn’t that they didn’t care that two hundred of her family’s closest friends and colleagues were on the other side of the wall… but, at that moment, they were the only two people in the world. Emma pulled back and lovingly gazed into his eyes for a moment before kissing him again. Lost in a world of their own until…

“Ethan!” Kaycee signed with relief. “I’ve been looking for you! It’s time to make your speech, and…oh….”

Emma’s body froze; she tucked her head into the crook of Julio’s neck and prayed that her alarm would go off and ensure this was just a dream. But her boyfriend's racing heart, and her father’s screaming silence made it very clear… it was not.

“Oh, shit,” she muttered softly.

An astonished Kaycee bit her lower lip and looked nervously between her husband, daughter, and the young man who wanted the Earth to swallow him whole. Her heart was thundering for a second, then she broke into the biggest smile.  

“Juilo!” she beamed, pulling him into a hug. “I’m so glad you were able to make it! And just in time for Ethan’s speech!” Kaycee turned to Ethan, imploring him with her eyes. “Isn’t that wonderful, Ethan?”

But Ethan hadn’t heard his wife’s words, nor anything else. He looked even taller when he stood like this, erect, face set in stone, seething in uncomfortable silence.

“Uh, Ethan,” Julio fumbled. “Congratulations… sir… I’m really glad I could be here for….”

“I bet you are,” Ethan bristled.

“Dad,” Emma jumped in. “I’m sorry you had to find out like this. Julio and I planned on telling you both today after the party. It’s just that….”

“…he had to paw my daughter like a wild animal during one of the pivotal moments in my life first.”

“Oh, Ethan, for heaven’s sake,” Kaycee groaned with a shake of her head.

“It was a kiss, Dad! It’s not as if we were getting naked!”

“Emma, please think of better words….” Julio shivered.

“How long?” Ethan snapped. “How long has this been going on?”

“For six months,” Emma replied.

“For six… for six… for six months you’ve been sneaking around behind our backs?”

Kaycee moved next to her husband and nudged his arm. “Ethan, our daughter is twenty-two years old. Can you stop acting like this… it’s embarrassing.”

Ignoring her, he stared daggers at Julio. “And you kept this from me?”

“Ethan…” Julio started.

“I think you should revert to calling me Dr. Ramsey.”

“All right, Dr. Ramsey…. I really wish we could have told you the way we planned. But trust me, Emma and I didn’t want to disrespect or hurt you. It’s just… we’ve been best friends most of our lives, and before we told everyone, we just wanted to be sure….”

“Sure of what?” Ethan interrupted.

“That this was it. That we were really… in love…,” Julio took Emma’s hand. “I love your daughter, sir. I think I always have. I regret that you found out this way, but I don’t regret loving her. I don’t regret the last six months, though I have some regrets that it took us both so long to see what was right before our eyes this entire time.”  

Ethan turned to his daughter with sadness in his eyes. “You kept this from your Mom and me for six months?”

“Oh, Ethan, stop!” Kaycee spat. “Shall I drag Alan in here to tell them how long we were together before you told him?”  

“Kaycee,” Ethan whispered. “This isn’t the time….”

“It’s exactly the time. Ethan… this is wonderful news!”  Turning to Emma and Julio, she squealed. “Oh my God, you tow…. You’re in love?”  

“Mom, I’m so in love and, Dad, Mom is right… this is wonderful. You always told me you wanted me to find someone who would love me the way you love Mom and… well… I have.”

“She has…” Julio whispered. “I swear.”

Kaycee wrapped her arms around the young couple. “You know there is no one in the world that we’d rather see Emma with! This is the best gift you could have given us today…. Right, Ethan?”  

Ethan’s shoulders visibly dropped as his expression softened, his eyes meeting Emma’s, and he swore she looked like she was six years old again when she smiled at him.

“I suppose… I suppose it could be worse,” he mumbled.

“Kind of like she looks appropriate?” Kaycee mocked.

“Thank you, Dad.”

Ethan stepped forward and embraced his daughter. “I am happy for you, baby. It’s just hard to accept that you’re not my little girl anymore.”  

“And here I would have thought paying four years of tuition at Princeton would have handled that?”

“You had inherit your mother’s sass, didn’t you?”

“Would you have had it any other way?” Emma giggled.

“No,” Ethan smiled, tears welled in his eyes. “That’s exactly how I hoped you would be.”

“Good! And Dad, I’m grown now… but you know I will always be your little girl.”

“That’s it,” Kaycee said, handing Ethan a tissue. “Make him cry before his speech, sweetheart.”

Ethan approached Julio and extended his hand, and when the young man went to take it, he pulled him into a hug.

“I’ve always liked you, Julio, and I am happy for the two of you. But after my speech… we’re having a talk.”

“Absolutely, Dr. Ramsey.”

“Please… let’s go back to Ethan.”

“Gladly,” Julio smiled.

“Now, I hate to interrupt this love fest, but you have a speech to give, dear. Let’s go!”

“Yes, dear….” Ethan sighed. 

They began to walk off when Ethan turned around. 

“Emma… Julio… would you like to join your mother and me on the podium?”

The young lovers looked at each other and smiled. “We’d be honored,” Emma replied.

Kaycee wrapped her arm around Emma and gushed. “Tonight, you are giving me all the details, young lady… I mean all the details!”

As the two women walked ahead, Ethan put his arm around Julio.

“I still plan on talking to you after the speech,” he assured.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Julio laughed.  “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Both of us are at the HQ right now. You’re sitting in front of me, reading a book Grant recommended to you, something about lost cats and runaway kids. Every ten minutes, you look up at me and give me another reason why you think it’s absolute trash. But you’re still reading it, so I guess it can’t be all that bad.

Me? I’m on my phone, typing this stupid letter in my Notes app because Terry said putting my thoughts into words could help me make sense of them. He’s beginning to sound like his mom, if you ask me.

I gave it the good old college try though, and so far it’s been kinda nice. Wrote some stuff to my mom, to Jodie, to Glenn. I’m never going to send those letters to any of them of course. Whatever bullshit I’m putting down right now isn’t meant for your eyes either, so uh, if you are reading this, please stop and let me live with whatever remnants of my dignity you deign to leave me.

Right. Thoughts. Feelings.

I blanked for a full three minutes, and during that time you put the book down and told me the metaphors used are so ridiculous you wouldn’t be surprised if Douglas Adams had risen from the grave to literally ghostwrite it. (Which I think you meant as an insult? Even though you used to love Hitchhiker’s.) Then you immediately turned the next page.

I need to stop staring at you and finish this letter.

Lark, I feel alive when I’m with you. When we’re going 80 in a 65 on your bike and I hold on to your hips and the white lines on the road are a continuous blur, that’s when the world makes the most sense to me. Growing up I had so many asthma attacks it was a wonder they even let me join Westrock FC. You remember when I gave you that straw, back when we were kids and everyone still used plastic straws? I told you to try to breathe through it for five minutes. You didn’t have the patience for that, but you made it to fifty seconds and got the gist of what it felt like to have your own airways betray you.

Though I have memories of smoking, this body has never tasted a cigarette or joint. I’m too scared it will cause me to start wheezing again, spots dancing at the edge of my vision, chest burning like it’s got its own hell inside it.

And yet I crave them. It’s still a test of willpower, sometimes. I know how good they could make me feel. I know that it’s so damningly easy, to just light a spark and press my lips to the tip and let myself enjoy the sensation. I could probably close my eyes and pretend that just because this was the natural conclusion of my desires, giving in wouldn’t mean I'm weak.

But let’s face it. It’ll only be bad for me in the long run.

 His step-mother is a famous model (who either is your character's step mom as well or their biological mother depending on their FC) and the face of King Cosmetics, and his father is a well-known director. Both dominated their social circles and were often far too busy jet setting around the world, speaking at conferences, and acting as prominent witches within the Lunar Cove coven to visit their son growing up in NYC all on his own. 

While his siblings (12 of them- with only 3 being playable), all of varying different ages, managed to find their niches at one point or another. 

I'm super open to determining how your character is successful in their fam- they could have not been the best at school, but now is an up and coming painter. They could be the 'perfect' parent with a seemingly perfect family. They could be an innovative architect who is trying to convince their grandfather to invest in a new line of hotels which they're working to design. They could be a model, a singer, a Soap star etc. Someone on the 30 under 30 list. I'd love for one of the siblings to be a manager of the Hospital or the new manager of K Labs (having taken over Seon-Joon's positiong after Seo-Joon went missing) etc.

Your character was born a witch and their parents weren't the type to put a ton of pressure on them. They were the hands off type and were more than happy to encourage their children to try whatever interested them, even if they often would send a bouquet of flowers to their child’s dance recital rather than appear in person. But, they had never been strict or overbearing and, yet, every single member of the family managed to thrive in some capacity except Seo-Joon.

But, while the parents didn't pressure on them, the siblings would compete between themselves and their parents would give more attention to those who succeeded and those who honed their powers as a witch given that being a witch was well revered in their family.

While your charrie grew up in Lunar Cove, Seo-Joon was raised by nannies in NYC after it became clear that he was the only human in their witch family. They grew up knowing that it wasn't safe for Seo-Joon to be surrounded by so much magic given they were human. The family didn't mean to isolate Seo-Joon. They simply wanted to keep him safe and give him the freedom to be able to travel the world rather than being physically trapped in Lunar Cove, but slowly your characters would be invited more and more of magic related trips while Seo-Joon received a sympathetic look in passing that felt more like an afterthought than he’d care to admit. It was almost as if after his abilities never came in and his grades at school continued to remain mediocre at best, they had given up on expecting anything from him which only seemed to be solidified when it came time for college.

The family bought a building at NYU to secure his place at a university as they did for a few of their other children who didn't make it into Ivy Leagues on their own. But, when Seo-Joon got car crash tw hit by a taxi in the city, his family became worried about his safety wondering if Lunar Cove might actually be safer for him than on his own.

After college, their parents made the decision without Seo-Joon's input that the safest place for him was the Cove where he'd be forced to stay for the rest of his life unless he wanted to risk losing his memories pertaining to magic. Your charrie could leave LC as much as they'd like, traveling around, while Seo-Joon was forced to stay. You watched the joy in your brother's eyes fade as they were given the position as manager at K Labs, despite being far from qualified for it, by their grandfather. His family had only tossed the underfunded research lab his way in an attempt to keep him out of trouble. It wasn’t as if they actually paid any mind to what him or the scientists who worked there were up to. But, by a strand of dumb luck, his team ended up creating one of the most exponential achievements in supernatural research due to his own incompetence.

Only the moment K Labs was turned around, Seo-Joon vanished. You believed he skipped town and would text his phone to get short winded answers. Your charrie could have been worried for his sake or resented him for leaving without a word. Only eight months later, your charrie has learned that he's alive and was kidnapped tw by the Catalyst this entire time.

Seo-Joon also goes by the nickname Song with people he's not close to, but your bby would likely go by their given name around everyone and, likely, would call Seo-Joon by his given name too.
