I preferred DC1 Maccoy over DC3 Maccoy for the longest time, and still kinda do because DC1 Coy has a special geeky touch to him. But I saw someone post about the DC fandom on Instagram, found this and felt a new surge of respect for DC3 Coy.

Random DC Headcanons.

Mo and Maccoy were the best of friends for many years before dating. Their romantic relationship ended like a field of land mines all going off at once, leaving Mo depressed and listless for several months.

Angel's last name is Santana, tying him to musician Carlos Santana (plus I just thought the last name was pretty).

Angel and Aubrey are close friends, despite Aubrey constantly shutting the flirtatious Angel down.

All of the dancers dote on Mo, some referring to him with terms of endearment. Emilia and Aubrey call him 'sweetie', Taye calls him 'Tiger', Bodie calls him 'Chief' and Hart has no tolerance for anyone bothering him.

Rasa is a second father to Mo.

Bodie works as a lifeguard outside of Dance Central and local dance competitions.

In the original trilogy verse, DCI supports the crews' personal lives with massive pension-like payments, leaving them to do as they please without having to worry about money.

Angel and Mo are similar, as both come off as cocky and self-absorbed but actually suffer from deep insecurities

In the VR verse, Maccoy works behind the scenes as a DJ. Due to the horribly messy nature of their breakup, he and Mo rarely interact. And when they do, they treat each other as though they barely know each other.

Which results in none of the other VR dancers liking Coy. Hart wants to strangle him every time she sees him.

After breaking up with Maccoy, VR Mo constantly tries to pick up girls to cover up the open, bleeding wounds, and as a way to mask his sexuality (because dating guys in the first place doesn't equal manliness?). But he's pansexual, having no real preference for gender.

Bodie adores clam chowder and potato chowder.

Glitch, in the original trilogy verse, blossoms into an incredibly attractive, creative and popular dancer shortly after Spotlight.

While OG Glitch was homeless before being found by Mo, VR Glitch lives with his mother and hangs out with Mo and the others on weekends.

Like Mo, VR and OG Glitch suffer from deep-rooted insecurities. Glitch longs to feel like he belongs somewhere with someone-even truer with VR Glitch because he's banned from all club activities.
