Thinking about the lovely thematic contrast between the inherent danger presented by a vampire's maw, and this vampire's soft, sweet kisses... about the contradiction of vicious teeth ripping and tearing into a foe's flesh, and his gentle lips, so close to that cruel sting, kissing a lover's for hours on end...

Thinking about the way he moans ever so softly into kisses, and how despite all the throwaway lines implying his newfound fondness for romantic intimacy, in-game he only ever allows himself to kiss his lover when explicitly asked to...

Thinking about the slight unevenness of his top lip (that's also maybe just barely fuller than the bottom), about his smile lines, about those genuine, fang-baring laughs... about how being careful not to nick his partner with his teeth must be second nature to him, but with that new passion behind it, it's like he's thrown back onto that learning curve yet again...

Thinking about how his neutral expression (the one worn only on the rare occasions when nobody is looking) has his lips just slightly downturned around the corners, making him look naturally serious, and even somewhat melancholic...

ok I know per my personal theming I should be maining Hawkeye in Marvel Rivals, but guys, I played one match as Squirrel Girl a couple days ago and I haven't looked back. I just won a match where I got most kills (26), most damage dealt (idek), most final blows (something like 14?) and got a 5KO streak at one point. My squirrels and I are UNSTOPPABLE.

Are people actually making these? Is there anything to be done in them that can't be done in, say, a discord server, or on my account already? This just feels like a strange social media push, and not something that's actually contributing to a healthy growth of the platform. "Make your community exclusive!" but I don't really want to. I have discord for that. I have private accounts for that. I am not interested in clubs that only a few people will join. But then again maybe that's not what this is, and maybe it's completely different. But it really gives me 'tree house club' vibes and I'm naturally adverse to those.

There is something unsurprising but nevertheless deeply disheartening in how I purposefully seek out content about Davrin (even though I'm kinda not fully here and just poking around on my phone, I'm sometimes still prowling the tags, searching his name, posting about him whenever I can, I'm even in a community that's ABOUT him), and yet it feels like I see magnitudes more fanart and headcanons about Viago de Riva of all than him.

Like. I knew shit was bad, but when it feels like I organically encounter far more stuff about a fairly minor side-npc (who is just one of the leaders of one of the factions, with ties to one of six potential player backgrounds) than one of the major companion characters with a fully fledged romance arc whose stuff I'm actively looking for, that's... that sure is something.
