J: finally, I was started to get bored watching him

S: What the hell is happening here?

D: c’mon, can’t I at least have a hint?

J: yeah, it’s been long enough *walks over to Danny and points at a part of the handcuffs* you see the teeth right here?

D: Yeah?

J: well if you fit something thin in this gap here, it lets you just slide the mechanism open

S: You shimmed the lock?

J: Knows what it’s called and everything, I knew I liked her. Good guess, but no *reveals handcuff key* I lifted this off you while you were moving me.

D: Then what was all that for!? I’ve been trying to open this for a half hour

J: well, first of all, it was funny, but it wasn’t just for shits and giggles. Lesson one, a practical solution is usually the easiest, and just as effective if not more so than magic

J: *cracks open a Guinness* on to our second lesson then?
