🤦🏻‍♀️ yep. My WIP folder has over seventy ideas/fics/pieces of series/and tons of pic prompts. I've had weeks of writer's block with only an occasional flicker of inspiration 😑

I'm trying to finish up some of those but my brain is not cooperating. The headaches aren't helping either 🤦🏻‍♀️

Fics/series in the works:

Two Thomas Hunt x OC*Amanda series called Worth the Wait and Stepping Forward. Both are angsty so far 🤷🏻‍♀️ but if I can ever get the wording right it will have happy endings 🤣 I'm also attempting to continue my Regency Era RCD AU series, None But You, in the process.

A few Thomas Hunt drabbles also are mixed in that folder 😂

A TRR Olivia series where Liam abdicates to be with Riley thus making our favorite duchess the Queen of Cordonia.

Part two to L-O-V-E

Requests for Liam x Riley and Maxwell Beaumont x OC*Sherry Alcantar that I promise I'm working on. And a couple for my While We're Young AU of characters that were requested months ago. Yes, there will be more glimpses into a couple of princes and their particular ladies and Jackson x Nicky.

An Open Hearts series called Mixed Signals (my first ever 😂) with my F!MC. Chris deals with feelings for Tobias, Ethan, and Bryce. It would start after the attack in Book 2. Though honestly I'm thinking of scrapping all of it to just write the actual storyline I've had in my mind with all the Tobias Carrick x Chris Valentine drabbles I'm working on 🤦🏻‍♀️ Definitely a happier storyline for those two, LOL!

A Perfect Match drabble with Damien and Nadia.

And my first ever Laws of Attraction drabble for my M!MC x Aislinn Tanaka 🤞 Hopefully it will turn out okay. I got inspired when I decided to restart the series and go a Male MC route 😂

And as always, I'm behind on reading fics from everyone I follow. Life keeps getting in the way of me being able to binge and when I do find time to open Tumblr up, I try and focus on that blasted Drafts folder.

It was very painful, the day I learned I wasn’t human. That everything I thought I knew, my memories, my family, my life, wasn’t real. I truly believed in them, clung to them as if they were what gave my life meaning. But it was all just programming, a carefully crafted illusion to keep me moving forward in a life that wasn’t mine.

In a world where I didn’t know who or what I was, there was Kai. Kai Park, who believed in me even when I couldn’t. She stayed by my side and loved me for who I was, not what I was. I know it hurt her when she found out the truth, that I was an android. But even through the shock and doubt, she never left me.

Kai Park. The woman who showed me I was more than wires and code. That even if my feelings and personality had been programmed, it didn’t mean I couldn’t experience life, have fun, or make real memories. She helped me live, truly live, and see the world for what it was, not just data to process.

Kai Park. The same woman who protected me, even when it meant going up against a powerful company like Eros. She risked everything, running from city to city just to keep me safe. She gave me freedom, a chance to live without fear of being reset, without the looming threat of being erased.

Kai Park. She’s still here, sitting beside me, her white hair soft and her face lined with time. But when I look at her, I still see the fire she had when we first met. Her eyes, though dimmer now, still carry the same spark that pulled me to her all those years ago. I hold her hand, fragile and warm, as we gaze at each other with the same love we’ve shared through every moment of our lives.

It’s been decades since we finally got Eros off our backs. Decades filled with traveling, laughing, and building memories that were truly ours. We didn’t have children, but we did have a wedding, one of the happiest days of my existence. My programming ensures I’ll never forget it. It’s as vivid as if it happened yesterday.

“Damien was the best man, and Nadia was the maid of honor,” I said, my thumb brushing over the delicate skin of her knuckles. She smiled as if trying to pull the memory closer. “Sloane was so relieved she wasn’t maid of honor. She said she had no idea what to do for something like that. But Nadia? She couldn’t stop jumping with excitement.”

Kai chuckled, her voice soft but still carrying that familiar warmth. “And Damien? Didn’t he drink too much at the reception?”

“He did,” I said, laughing. “And Nadia almost ate all the cake. Oh, and Sloane? She kept stuttering through her speech. I think it took her three tries just to say congratulations.”

We both laughed, the sound filling the quiet room like an echo of all the joy we’d shared over the years.

“What were our vows again?” she asked, her voice trembling just slightly. She stared at the ceiling, her lips moving as if reciting them from memory. “On this day, I will take you as my husband. You will not be alone anymore. From now on, it will be us. You won’t face the darkness alone, because I will be there to light your way. Your burdens will be ours to share. From this day forward, there will never be a ‘you’ without me."

Her head turned toward me, her faded eyes filled with joy. I gave her the softest smile before leaning in to kiss her forehead. Her breath, slow and light, brushed against my face.

“And mine went something like this,” I said, shifting closer to her so she could rest against me. “On this day, I will take you as my wife. From now on, it will no longer just be you—it will be you and me. You’ll never wake up alone because I’ll always be by your side. You won’t face battles by yourself because I’ll be there holding your hand. You’ll never have to go through life alone, because I’ll be with you until your very last breath.”

Her smile lingered as her eyes fluttered closed. Her hand gripped mine, just a little tighter, as she whispered, “I love you, Hayden.”

The small gathering was quiet, just as she would have wanted. It wasn’t a grand funeral—Kai had never been one for spectacle—but those who mattered were there. Damien, now grayer and slower but still quick with his wit, stood next to Nadia, who had taken the role of organizing everything with precision. Sloane stood apart, her eyes red-rimmed as she clutched a small bouquet of daisies, Kai’s favorite.

“I love you, Kai,” I whispered back. And then, just like that, the light in her faded. Her face, still turned toward me, remained peaceful, her smile untouched by time.

We all stood around the simple wooden urn, surrounded by a field of wildflowers. The breeze carried the soft scent of summer, the kind Kai loved, and I couldn’t help but think of the days we spent lying in fields like this, watching the clouds drift by.

“She was one of a kind,” Damien said, breaking the silence. His voice cracked, but he kept going. “Kai wasn’t just brave; she was the kind of person who made you want to be better. She didn’t care about the odds—she cared about people. About doing what was right.”

Nadia nodded, her hand resting on Damien’s arm. “She didn’t just protect Hayden. She protected all of us in her own way. She reminded us what it means to fight for something worth believing in.”

I stepped forward, placing a hand on the urn. My voice, though steady, carried the weight of years. “Kai gave me a life I never thought I could have. She didn’t just save me—she taught me how to live. How to love. She was my light in every way, and she always will be.”

As the sun began to set, we each laid something beside the urn. Damien left a single red rose, Nadia placed a folded piece of sheet music, and Sloane left a small charm she’d been fidgeting with the entire time. I left nothing tangible—what I carried for Kai was within me, etched into every line of my programming and every memory we’d created.

The service ended with a quiet moment of silence, the wind rustling through the wildflowers. When the others began to drift away, I stayed behind for a while longer, watching the light fade and the stars begin to appear.

Footsteps echoed softly behind me as I sat alone in the quiet. One of Sloane’s apprentices approached, his expression solemn but understanding. He nodded once, silently asking if I was ready.

I glanced back at the urn one last time. “I’ll see you soon, Kai,” I whispered, my voice low but filled with a quiet peace.

The apprentice reached over my shoulder, fingers deftly adjusting the panel where wires and lights blinked softly. I closed my eyes as the familiar command filled my mind.

I’m a little bit late to the party. But being sick for past 2 days (still am, but thankfully without temperature anymore) So thank you @desiree-0816 for your tag. 

At the moment I have too many WIPs I’m trying to work my way through. 2 from these WIPs will be published today or tomorrow. Here is short previews for them. + 1 bonus for my two part mini-series continuation of my Can you fake love? mini series. I put more sneak peaks than I intended, so now put them in a cut, please let me know, if anyone is interested to be tagged and for which WIP series or mini-series.

He huffed, downing one drink after another, not paying attention to what he was drinking, his eyes dropping back to the bar in front of him. His thoughts involuntarily returning to the girl, but he stubbornly pushed them away. Frustrated and angry by the fact he couldn’t get her out of his head. Hurt and angry by the fact his mother managed to get to him once again.

By the time he was done and ready to leave the club, he was more than tipsy, and the anger boiling inside him became only bigger. Beckett rose abruptly, almost tripping over his feet. He looked around, searching for Zeph, but couldn’t find him, so he typed him a quick message letting him know that he about to head back to his place. When he was just about to exit the club, he felt someone bump straight into him. His arms instinctively wrapped around the person’s shoulders, preventing them both from the fall.

“Where are we?” she asked. “We are in a field, obviously,” slyly replied Beckett taking Maeve’s hand and leading her further into the field, choosing a narrow path toward a lonely standing tree. Maeve’s eyes grew wider the closer they approached their destination. The details of an area becoming more visible and she gasped when she noticed that a tree was lit up brightly with different lanterns hanging from it and placed around a picnic blanket set for two. “Beckett, how… when…,” she asked when they finally reached the top of a small hill where the tree stood. “This is… beautiful,” she whispered, and her heart made a flip when she looked around them. “You are beautiful,” murmured Beckett approaching Maeve from behind and standing next to her before walking toward the sitting area. “What?” blinked Maeve in surprise taking her place next to Beckett on the blanket, carefully taking her heels off and tucking her legs under. “I mean…,” Beckett cleared his throat, a blush reaching his cheeks once again. “I mean, this what people usually say on a date… right? And you look nice in this dress, so it was simply stating a fact.” “You mean on a fake date?” questioned Maeve blushing, but her face brightly lit with a smile and her eyes shining.

A year later after their fake date Beckett paced outside of Maeve’s house ready to take her to their first official date. Not just as a friends, but as a real couple. He was so nervous about it, that he came forty minutes earlier and now was pacing outside of her house, glancing at the watch he was wearing every couple of minutes, waiting for the time to come.

He was ranking his hand through his disheveled hairs and his heart was thundering in his chest. Throwing the last glance at the watch he took a step forward, finally knocking on the door waiting for someone to let him in. In a minute he heard a light steps approaching the door revealing a petite blond woman on the threshold. Beckett cleared his throat swallowing hard before greeting the woman in front of him.

This was the last day of the seminar in Miami, ending with the fancy dinner in their schedule. And the opportunity to unwind after the busy week they all had. Diana and Oriana were beyond excited to dress up for the occasion and show up the new dresses they both bought the previous day. As somehow everyone forget to let them know about this event.

Diana sat on the bed of their hotel room, digging through her travel bag searching for sexy set of underwear to match the beautiful blue midnight dress laying in front of her, paired with a silver stiletto.

This is something I didn’t wrote in a while, but I really loved the idea and I honestly would love to continue it some day.

The woman in a blow: Chapter 4/?

Without noticing anything around him he collapsed on the sofa in front of the TV gripping a bottle of rum. His thought slowly starting to form, at first this is just one thought taking a shape in his alcohol-obscured brains. This is not true. This simply cannot be true. Damien’s eyes are shut, heart racing as after long distance marathon, his palms are sweaty and all his muscles gone numb. He took another mouthful of rum, noticing how badly his hands are shaking. Another thought of disbelief instantly flew into his mind while burning liquid flowed down his throat. This boy… he is not my son… he simply cannot be. Damien groaned tightening the grip, picture of two and a half years old boy clearer and clearer started to appear in his mind. His curly hairs, square jaw and aquiline nose are unmistekably his. When almond shaped, deep set and nut brown eyes are hers… Alana’s… Truth hits him in the guts making it difficult to breath, his eyes wide open but unseeing, bleeding knuckles give a dull pain the one he barely noticing. I have a son… He thinks, heart trying to jump out of his chest and another thought corrects him in the same instance, making his heart shrink from pain. I had a son… As soon as truth hits him he can feel the pain wash over him as he continues to drink. He hardly noticing how much time has passed, noticing just after his first bottle of rum got empty, that time got past 4 o’clock in the morning. Getting up for another one on his already shaken legs, he got back to TV collapsing on the sofa one more. His brains are slowed by an amount of alcohol already consumed. But his heart still shrinks in pain and memory of HER slowly occupies him as clearly as if it was yesterday. No matter how much alcohol he will drink this last memory of her will never let him go… and this pain will always be there. “Now even stronger”, sad bitter smile touch his lips, never reaching his bloodshot eyes. His grip tightening on bottle of rum, eyes slowly closing, letting pain wash over him and this memory slowly takes him to the past.

She laid across his chest playing with his hairs, lazily placing kisses on his chest, playing with her butterfly pendant. She seems to be lost in her thoughts, but he knew better than to ask her questions. He couldn’t tell how much time had pass before he broke silence, kissing the crown of her head making her jump a little.

- Alana, what is wrong?

- Nothing, - she shook away his question. He could feel her body tense next to him and her hand froze in his hairs.

- Common… I know you better than this… Alana, what happened? Since you got this pendant, you like this all the time and this couple of months worsen. Please, let me in… do you have a problem?

- I don’t HAVE a problem. Just drop it. Please… just let it go, - quickly she got up from bed annoyingly picking up her clothes, that were ripped off the previous evening, and getting dressed.

- What are you doing?

- Getting ready to work, if this is not obvious.

- Alana, we are on vacation…

- I got an assignment, - she said not turning to him, but checking her reflection meeting his gaze in the mirror.

perfect match MC headcanon

so they are consistently, annoyingly vague about what the Perfect Match MC does for a living (my MC is Mallory, so that's what I'm going to call her for the rest of this). Like...never once do they even HINT at her job.

Mallory has lived in NYC her whole life; her parents had an apartment in a small, close-knit neighborhood and Mallory started to work at the deli down the street when she was 14. she worked there all through high school and when it came time for graduation, she decided instead of starting college right away, she would take a year off, keep working at the deli but now full time, save some money and see what the options for college looked like after that year.

the thing is, the deli is run by the mob.

now, Mal doesn't know that. it's her neighborhood deli, it's family-owned, her parents know the owners, everyone knows everyone and that's just how it's always been.

but when she starts to work there full time after high school, she eventually moves out of her parent's place and moves into the apartment above the deli. she starts doing favors for the owners; real small favors ya know, nothing to take too much notice of. one thing leads to another (I'm a basic little white girl, not part of the mob; I don't know exactly what happens; I just know that in this story, Mallory doesn't even realize she's gotten in too deep until it's too late) and all of a sudden she owes these people big time

a situation is fabricated to look like an organic event but it's gotta be something that would make her feel like she was in their debt. something that would make her feel like she owed them and something that they could DEFINITELY take advantage of.

it's been a year or so now. college is definitely off the table. she is a part of the organization now, even if it's just barely (in chapter six of book two, when Mallory is getting burritos with Khaan, he asks her something about her life in NYC or how she got started in her job and I chose the option of her not going to college. that is literally where this whole headcanon comes from. she says something about all the 'odd jobs' that she takes on right out of high school and I immediately jumped to the mob. what even is my brain). her debt is 5 years. if we want to be real dark, they employ her at their legit escort service, and her debt is paid off with the not-so-legit extras.

if we want to be less dark, she just continues on as a glorified errand girl and now all the favors she does are decidedly not legal but she is finally perfectly aware of it.

she has a year left when she and Nadia meet Damien.

with her "job" (whatever it ends up being) being with such a flexible organization, her hours are just as flexible and so Mallory is able to be much more involved with Nadia's art debut and subsequent success in the art world in general. so Mallory is hanging around the gallery when Nadia gets the first "explicit drawing" from her superfan/stalker; Mallory and Nadia are very close and so Mallory has a front-row seat to the whole drama. she knows she could ask her employers to look into the guy; she knows they could do something about the situation but she also knows that she doesn't want them or any bit of that part of her life to touch Nadia.

so she finds Damien in the white pages or online or however but she makes sure that he has no connection to the organization at all.

Mallory is sitting at the welcome desk in the gallery when Damien comes in to meet Nadia. in my playthroughs, Mallory has feelings for Damien from that first meeting, the same as Damien does for her. he is right when he says it was the wrong time for them; he was still too broken over Beitan and she knows very well that her life is not yet her own.

Damien takes care of the creepy superfan. he asks Mallory out for drinks or dinner and thus starts the epic four-year-long pining fest that we now know is very much canon.

in my Perfect Match 'verse, Mallory is...weeks, days away from her debt being paid. something goes down. she vouched for somebody that ended up being completely untrustworthy and so her one day/one week turns back into five years and the moment when both she and Damien were single and stable and could feel the attraction building to a breaking point...slips away.

she doesn't go back to exactly what she was doing for the organization the first time around. she's built up a reputation and she has people that trust her. she messed up with the guy that betrayed her/them but that doesn't necessarily reflect on her overall relationship with the organization in general. she is back in debt but her life is a little more her own this time around.

so when Nadia tells her all about Eros and how wonderful Steve is, she lets herself be talked into giving it a try.

she goes to the office and answers every one of their questions with Damien in mind. she has been just as in love with him as he is with her for four long years. neither wants to approach the other and risk ruining the friendship that they have come to rely on so heavily.

so she gets Hayden with the Best Friend personality and the fabulous massage skills (you know Damien has some MOVES) and the impressive language skills (Damien's Hispanic heritage) and she says okay

she will make this work. she has not given up on Damien but she has stopped waiting for him to make a move or for her to get up the courage to do it herself. the friendship that she and Nadia have with him can be enough now that Mallory has Hayden.

and so then we have Perfect Match books 1&2 and all the hidden feelings come out and she drops Hayden like a hot potato (Hayden is one of her best friends and she has been honored to be his confidant and part of his support system in his entry into society knowing what he actually is). she and Damien grow as people individually and as a unit and their love story in these books is one of the most beautiful that Pixelberry has ever given us. Perfect Match should not have ended up being one of my favorite series but it DEFINITELY IS and that is because of Damien Elvis Nazario.

so after. Damien and Mallory get their happily-ever-after. she has a key to his place (he's always had a key to hers), they spend every night together and he makes her breakfast every morning.

but Mallory disappeared for...months? they were in Paris for at least a month and each new country they traveled to would have been another week or so in travel and prep time for each mission

but she just disappeared, with no word to the organization. no contact for generously, six months, realistically, more like three.

and that is not okay. and Mallory Park is not so close with the family that they can just let her get away with that without any consequences.

now, I have no explanation for how Damien never found out what it is Mallory does and does not do for a living. he's a former cop, a good PI, and he's pretty involved in her life; but she's been telling both Damien and Nadia that she's an underling at an interior design firm for years and she's always been very good at maintaining that cover.

until about a month after they get home from DC and the organization catches up to her and she comes home one night with bruises on her face and a laceration on her abdomen. that's not something she can hide from Damien or cover-up to Nadia.

and that is a fic that I want to write because I didn't get nearly enough one-on-one time with Damien in the books and hurt/comfort is my eternal weakness and I just

I need protective!Damien and worried!Damien and angry!Damien and I need to see how they deal with this situation without six other people's input because THIS IS NOT A SIX WAY RELATIONSHIP (I did not play it as a polyamory romance. I NEED more Damien x Mallory and I need it now).

so. yea. I can write out this entire backstory about Mallory Park and her very sketchy past but I can PROMISE YOU that I will never write this Damien x Mallory fic because I. am. trash.
