"Rapidash live in grasslands, but they can also be seen on mountains and forests. They are known for being brave and prideful, especially the Galarian variant. Rapidash is a very agile Pokémon. It runs at about 150 mphand is capable of traveling an entire region within a day and a half."

Photo 1: I had a long weekend and my boss was away on Friday. Slowpokes and Piplup were able to sleep in relaxed until an unexpected earthquake occurred! 😳 We are doing okay, and my friends and I have been laughing and making jokes about it. Earthquakes are rare in the New York Metro Area / Tri-State Area. The last time I experienced an earthquake was in 2011 when Virginia state had one, and it was felt in New York too.

Blog Introduction

Hello! This blog is a series of rendered gifs of the idle animations from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The animations themselves are made by Creatures Inc; I am just providing renders since they aren't available elsewhere online!

My goal is to update daily, in semi-natdex order (doing all evolutions of a Pokémon before moving onto next entry)! Most model changes such as regional variants or gender differences will also be included in their own posts. Shinies are not posted at this time.

Most animations will be posted in order of Default Wait, Battle Wait, Default Idle 1, Default Idle 2, though there is some variation — some species don't have a unique Battle Wait, some have separate animations for swimming/flying/floating/etc., and so on.

Note these models were originally animated at 60fps, but .gif files can only be played at 50fps in browsers. Expect them to be slightly slower than in-game!

This morning I was blessed with tumblr’s daily email showcasing some of my fave Pokémon blogs. I’m not gonna lie and say I didn’t do a little happy dance when I saw y��all.

So, as you can probably tell from the six whole years of complete silence, Frameshift kind of.... fell by the wayside. Despite my best intentions at the time, i simply couldn't keep up the creative momentum for this undertaking. I've had plenty of ideas and concepts for where a few lines could go, but there were so many that I just could not work out (the middle forms of the Oraquill line, in particular, proved elusive in both name and appearance), and my ability to actually generate proper art seems to have wibbled on and off - and while I made several attempts to get back into Frameshift, I never could quite recapture what I've previously done with it, and I think I have to face the facts and admit that I... likely won't, at least in the foreseeable future. Not going to say I'm never going to revisit this little project - but for now, I may as well close the book on this particular endeavor and let it quietly pass into the sea of daily-pokedex-drawing-challenges that never made it.

But before I do, I have two last Frameshift 'mon to share - creatures that I actually succeeded in conceptualizing and drawing years ago, and were simply waiting for their evolutionary predecessors that, unfortunately, never took shape. These are Oraqueen and Oraking, the Psychic/Ice type equivalents of Nidoqueen and Nidoking. Oraqueen, the Seer Pokémon, forms orbs of ice which she can use as a scrying focus in order to divine patterns that can be exploited in her foes' attacks or weak spots in their defense, to better support her allies in combat. This in contrast with Oraking, the Warlock Pokémon, whom uses staves formed of ice as a focus for a channeling the elements and amplifying their power - and is the more offense-oriented of the two.

"Ponyta herds tend to live in grasslands, plains, mountains, or anywhere that they can run freely, while the Galar variant has adapted to live in forests. Ponyta are relatively lightweight for their size, as they have extraordinary jumping abilities. However, a newborn Ponyta is a weak runner and is actually barely able to stand. It gradually strengthens its legs and becomes faster by chasing after its parents."

I'm Clive, a normal academy student. Nothing more, nothing less.

Welcome to my SICK web page. I am Clive, a student at Naranja-Uva academy. I will not be posting my age, because that's "mad sketch" and not a safe use of the internet. But using people's preferred pronouns is "lit", so I will say that my pronouns are he/him.

I have joined Rotomblr on the advice of some of my BOMBASTIC friends. Fellow young students. Apparently many academy students use this website to discuss daily goings-on at the academy. And which of you are going into the Great Crater (which is NOT BASED).

And I want to share my daily YOLO moments too. Maybe I can spread some #Clivespiration with my team. (IGNORE THE IMAGE ON MY TRAINER CARD. I AM NOT SURE WHY IT RESEMBLES DIRECTOR CLAVELL AND IS MISSING MY STYLIN' POMPADOUR.)

Oranguru is my "best bro". We have been together for many years, but not that many. After all, I am clearly still in my student years. I have met many other "cray-cray" Pokémon on my travels through Paldea, as you can see on my (clearly mistaken) trainer card. I would be happy to discuss them in "asks". Or any concerns any students have about the academy. This account is always a safe space to discuss any bullying, harassment, or other challenging experiences you encounter during your time at Naranja-Uva.
