Alright apologies my liege this is just sending a whole fanfic in the ask box but the centipede has given me the power to write pussy vore, glory to the kingdom or whatever
After a long long day on duty, Minimus finally makes it back to his hab with a stack of datapads in his arms ready to start his post-work work. It was a hard and mostly thankless job, but it had to be done by someone, and thankfully to Minimus, the one person who did thank him for his dedication was sprawled out in their berth with his modestly playing already removed. Minimus glanced at Megatron as he set his datapads down before he turned his head once again to take a full look at his conjunx. That's right, he thought, he and Megatron did plan on interfacing after Minimus' late shift. It was even on Minimus' schedule.
All the commotion reigning in dumb scuffles and listening to Rodimus talk his audials off had Minimus totally blank on his plans. It feels bad to let down Megatron and it feels even worse to deny himself his own needs, but Minimus promises Megatron he would make everything up to Megatron the next evening, but now he was falling behind on his reports and needed a little peace and quiet. Megatron is disappointed of course, but he knows Minimus would never let his duties slip. He's a big mech though, a big mech with high charge. He can entertain himself without Minimus.
Heavy venting is what finally made Minimus turn away from his stack of datapads. He could tune out the, squelching noises of lubricant and the quiet creaks of the berth, but Megatron's breathy restrained moans as he slipped a fat fake spike up his valve made Minimus need to turn. He watched Megatron, already feeling his spike slamming into his modestly panel. Primus, he wanted to be in that spike's place so badly. A quick break wouldn't exactly kill him, it wasn't like Rodimus would even read his daily reports until he was a month behind on them. He couldn't even focus with how overcharged his body was after all, he just needed some time to work through it.
Minimus hops up onto the berth, feeling Megatron's optics on him. Megatron allows Minimus to pull the toy from his valve and set it aside, he wouldn't need it when he finally had the real thing's attention. Minimus' panels were popped open, freeing his hard spike finally. He was on his knees infront of Megatron's much larger array, licking and kissing his glowing anterior node before taking the thing into his mouth. Megatron groaned at that, he could only imagine the sight of Minimus' jaw stretching around the node that nearly fills his mouth. The determination of his minibot lover would always bring Megatron's arousal to another level. He threw his head back and rested a heavy servo on Minimus' back, pressing the minibot into his soaked valve and feeling Minimus blindly thrust his little spike into him.
Minimus was getting coated in Megatron's transfluid, which made it much easier to rut into that soft valve and slip his digits in. He was still busy with lapping the fluid off his conjunx's node when he felt Megatron pushing him once again. Whatever Megatron was doing, and Minimus knew he was up to something when he could hear his t-cog click distantly and feel Megatron shift his mass slightly bigger, Minimus was very on board with. Something was pressing on the back of his helm, making him slip away from Megatron's node and into his plush valve lips. Minimus attempted to catch himself, but Megatron just continued to push him deeper until he had the minibot's upper body fully inserted in his valve.
Minimus squirmed as much as he could in the tight valve channel, which only pushed him deeper into his lover. Megatron's greedy calipers were massaging Minimus' body as his internals tried to pull the minibot deeper inside. Megatron was helping from the outside, pushing Minimus in deeper by the pedes as he continued to leak lubricant onto his small body. He was finally feeling some resistance when his ceiling node was brushed against, causing a full frame shiver. Minimus was drowning in that wet heat and he felt like he never wanted to resurface. With no one to see him act so crudely, Minimus thrust wildly into Megatron's walls, grinding his spike into his conjunx valve deeper than he could ever reach on his own. His helm was pressed into Megatron's ceiling node, letting the captain feel all the wild thrashing from his active little toy.
Caught up in his own overload, Minimus did not see the small port of Megatron's gestation chamber opening. His forge was like a stalking predator, waiting for Minimus to get close enough to be caught. A shift, a reshuffle of his position, and he was caught. Minimus' helm had pushed back in the dark and somehow fell further into Megatron's internals. Listening hard, he could only hear his conjunx's cries of approval as his valve spasmed on Minimus' little body, so clearly whatever he had found was not going to hurt his mate by delving deeper. Minimus wiggled his way into that tighter port, into an even hotter and tighter chamber than Megatron's valve.
Deep inside Megatron could feel Minimus squirming his way into his forge, and it had pushed him over the edge of overload. He wanted his conjunx as deep inside of him as he could be, all his for all eternity where no one could take him from him. It was a horribly selfish desire that Megatron could feel guilty over when he wasn't overloading his processor out, but caught up in the heat of the moment, he would have his dream be a reality for a moment. He reached blindly for the toy Minimus had taken from him earlier, and once found he popped it up his slick loose valve. In his bigger form, meant for keeping his lover from being crushed, the toy had felt smaller in comparison. It would do the job Megatron had meant it for though, he could feel the thing make contact with something that had seemed to move against the tip. He had hit Minimus' twitching pedes with the toy, giving the minibot a slight push further through his gestation seal.
Once Megatron had found his target, he fucked himself hard with the spike, aiming to keep pushing his conjunx deeper into his forge as he did so. Minimus' hips were just slipping past the tight opening, giving a delicious squeeze to his spike. He frotted into the port, pushing him deeper into the chamber faster. Just as Minimus overloaded, his hips had popped into the forge with the rest of his body, shooting transfluid directly into Megatron's gestation chamber. His legs followed him into the wet channel easily, allowing Minimus to finally curl up in his lover's forge.
Megatron laid in the afterglow of a frame racking overload with a large servo rested on the small bump of his abdomen where his conjunx was. The fake spike had slipped out of him the second Megatron let it go, being flushed out by the still coming gushes to transfluid. As he was still in the high of a good overload, he received a ping on his private comms.
:I do not know exactly what we have just done, but I would like to make this a frequent activity:
A very Minimus way to ask to indulge in a kink, it made Megatron smile. He sent a message back, more to check in than out of any urgency to let his mate go.
:Are you enjoying it in there?:
:In the way of my interface needs? Immensely. It's rather comfortable actually, to speak outside of arousal:
:Is that so?:
:Yes. It's very warm, and quiet too. If you've been trying to speak to me, then I am sorry I missed it. Everything is drowned out over the sounds of your internals, which-:
:Which?:
:Which is making my interface protocols want to reengage. My apologies:
:Do not apologize for my frame bringing you satisfaction, my dear. I'm glad to hear you get as much out of this as I do:
:If you would allow it, could I stay inside a while longer?:
:Of course minimus:
After sending his message, Megatron was struck with an idea.
Getting one of Minimus' tiny datapads in his valve was like putting the pen of his own datapad inside himself. It was small, so to say, and Megatron could insert it into his large frame easily. Using his fake spike, he pushed the datapad further into his valve then his digits could reach until the thing was knocking into the already worked opening of his forge. He knew his idea had gone as he meant it to when he received another message.
:I need a very good reason to not come out right now to punish you for putting sensitive files in your array:
:My forge is quiet and secluded, no one will be bothering you while you work and I can entertain myself plenty:
Megatron was already rubbing his anterior node at the thought of his little conjunx happy and safe inside his gestation chamber, all his and his alone. The comm back was essentially permission for Megatron to commit to his plans.
:Thank you Captain, I understand. I may need a while then to continue my reports.:
:Feel free to stay as long as you need:
Megatron lazily thrust the toy back up his valve as he messaged Minimus. He was free to frag himself stupid while his conjunx worked away. If Minimus was ever taking more breaks to overload into his partner's forge, than Megatron didn't have to know. Of course he did know though, and the idea alone had Megatron's valve squeezing the toy harder. -🌱
ARGH i just keep rereading this, it's so damn good... Megatron's big, stretchy womb is the perfect office for Minimus, so warm and quiet and the horniness keeps him alert. When it starts making him dizzy, he simply jerks off to take the edge off, and continues working...
hrghh what if he got Megatron pregnant like this... usually his transfluid doesn't reach that far up Megatron's valve and even they're getting up to the usual pussy vore shenanigans, he doesn't produce enough to really knock him up... but after hours and hours of cumming directly all over his forge, there's bound to be a spark...

Universe: 47-V-23
Planet: 78-ORVA-2
. . .
The creaking whirr of machinery has become, and will always remain, the melodious cacophony of the world that seldom sees the sun through the haze of blanketing smog and wood-smoke. Cogs are the choir; but the crackling, slithering wires are the chorus. Needle-point columns of marble and concrete stretch indefinitely into the sky, splitting clouds apart with deadly precision. Bulbs flicker in and out; a glittering wave of light that has no true end, that force the stars to hide from its endless glory, that shut the creeping darkness away with apt stubbornness. There are entire cities of insurmountable size with no occupants, facilities with their control panels left barren from the warm flesh of fingers, hospitals with fully-functional monitors and schools with blinking computer screens; all the pinnacle of advancement, of technology, but they lie barren. No sentient, biological life exists in this world of totalitarian advancement.
Disheveled masses of iron and gold and copper are the only things that shamble listlessly through crooked streets. They are the rulers of this metal-plated planet. With their creators long since gone, now just dust motes on the wind, the creations reign supreme. They might be called automations, robots, creatures with a thousand clicking tendons; but indeed, they fit no description, no label. Their brains are a network of 1s and 0s, their hearts are engines pulsating with slick fluid, their veins are wires, and their minds simmer along with deep-encoded programs: Work. Create. Advance.
They have no defined form. They see the perfect body as one that is the epitome of functionality. The more limbs, essentially, the better. They are an amalgamation of arms and spear-headed legs, a whirring, hissing freak of unnature. Each is entirely unique to the other, although have similarities depending on their occupation. Those digging for coal in mines have drills for their hands and heads and feet and thrumming core; hollow metal bags on their crooked spines to collect the daily harvest. Some tarry at the near-surface; tunneling into oil reservoirs and forcing the inky bile through pumps, their bodies constantly covered with slippery black liquid that splatters upon the dusty ground. Few are left to hack at the dwindling forests, but those who do have axes attached to their crane-like appendages, and can slice down an ancient redwood with a single, delicate slice. Even rarer so are those who balance upon a dozen spindly legs, gargantuan in height, with their base decidedly smaller and suspended in the sky like a metal puppet. They coax storms from the clouds that ache with pollution, and from the storms, they drag down lightning and its threads of snarling electricity with gold-hewn claws. They breathe the vibrant death into themselves, allow it to travel into containment below, but they do not melt, do not shatter from the overabundance of power. They barely even creak.
None of these so-called amalgamations lord over the other, though; there is no definable leader, there is only progress. If, however, you wanted to find one with a semblance of control, you would look not at the deep trenches of stone, nor the gaping maw of crackling space, but at the bustling movement of a ground covered with copper plates. These machines fix the others by scuttling up their sides and replacing old batteries or pouring oil in canisters or filling their furnaces with wood and coal. They patrol the cities and keep them up to order with constant and unfaltering persistence, they sketch blueprints of meaningless buildings only existing for the simplicity of existence, they keep track of malfunctions and correct them if they get out of hand. With an advanced AI, they are the ones that discover new exploits and- oddly enough- exhibit a sense of curiosity. It allows them to create new machine designs, to update their own, to find new solutions to seemingly impossible problems.
The only time this semi-intelligent unlife form is stumped, however, is when it chances upon a scampering, skittering creature with true blood running through true veins to get to its true, flesh-skinned heart, steadily pumping along. They have skin and fur and eyeballs that roll frantically in their sockets. They are far and few between, their feet are cracked with sharp grit as they pitter-patter on rock more rather than plant life, their ribs stick out like dead trees in a barren desert. Occasionally, they leave the comfort of dry woods and stumble into machine territory, which is slowly creeping closer and closer to their haven. More often than not, they are flattened by a careless stomp of metal, or cooked alive in boiling hot factories, but sometimes, they will meet a different fate. A sentinel machine might chance upon them, and as the smarter of the machines, they take a moment to pause. They do not understand, even with the width of their understanding. They hold the trembling animal with as much care as they can fathom between thick iron fingers, as gentleness was indeed encoded within their core, and try to understand. They do not understand. They will never understand, not completely.
If the animal is lucky, the machine may simply set it down on the ground again, and as a memory of blurry kindness resurfaces, brush a claw once meant for unscrewing bolts through mats of tangled fur. If the machine takes the time, it may even move the animal into shade, to a semblance of safety. But if the animal has a limp, an age-addled mind, or something of the sort, the machine may take it upon itself to 'fix' the poor wretch. Prosthetic limbs of flexible alloys, eyes that rust from the rain, artificial organs that thump and pulsate along. Even a new brain, an engine of the cranium. These now malformed animals are a shadow of what they once were, ambling across desolate cities instead of the natural land they were once a part of, their body dipping and swiveling and twisting and curling and creaking. They walk until they run out of fuel; instincts now only a distant visage. They have forgotten how to eat. How to breathe. How to fight. How to defend. How to live. How to love.
And all the while, as they are being transformed, the sentinel machine will chitter in an almost pleased manner, and if you listen close, you may even understand a sliver of their garbled murmurs. Perfection, they whisper. I will fix you, I will make you right, I will make you desirable. I will make you more than what you are, and what you are is imperfection.
The animal forgets how to run without tripping.
Imperfection.
The animal forgets how to seek shelter from danger.
Imperfection.
The animal forgets how to bite when it is captured.
Imperfection.
The animal forgets how to care for its mewling, starving young.
Imperfection.
The animal forgets how to be an animal. The animal is wrong, distorted, chattering along with bloody lips that tear into its metal hind in an effort to escape its artificial cage. It is afraid, but in time, it forgets how to be afraid.
And with this, the machine finally whispers, perfection.
Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
The world that the machines lay waste to is dying. It is nearly drained of oil, once plentiful shores of coal have dried up, lightning storms cannot form in full strength with the absence of water, and forests are a rarity in itself. There is nothing but order, and in that order, there is destruction.
The machines do not care- or they do not realize- that their time upon this ravaged planet is coming to an end. They cannot stop. They will never stop, not until their engines run dry and their wires split at the seams. Then, perhaps, their skeletons will rest.
But there is no rest for the machines. Not yet. Not until the world around them goes up in a boiling mass of copper and metal and scraps of trembling flesh.
Not yet.

The moment when Gon’s priorities start to change - ch. 64 and 65
While working in my meta of the separation scene (which will take some time still, sorry), I came across these chapters again: 64 and 65. Two of my favorite. As a linguistic and literature student, I’m always trying to catch hints in Togashi’s writing - we know he carefully thinks about each word used. Have a good read and keep in mind is just a thought - and the dialogues and panels chosen to be showed in here are meaningful. This is not a deep research with theory references, but just some of the various examples of how artistic and textual strategies work in Hunter x Hunter, that they are not random and how even the slightest changing of words and switching perspectives can impact the story in order to provoke a reaction, meaning something to the audience, leading us to a way.
Anyways.
The boys had just finished the Heaven’s Arena, with tons of hints of how they would bond more and more, for example, Killua wanting to evolve with Gon in the same pace regarding both the Floors and the Nen training. The scene where Killua and Gon are meditating together, Killua getting more protective of Gon, as they soon become a pair.
They take a short well deserved break: it’s time to visit Whale Island. After all, Gon came to Kukuroo Mountain, and Killua wants to recollect what is home to Gon, too. Fair enough, it’s how I understand he’s self-inviting.
When they arrive. we are introduced to the fact that Gon, someone who deeply cares about his family, hasn’t called once since he passed the Exam. Of course, he got extremely focused on rescuing Killua and then training with him in the Arena, getting distracted. Not that he doesn’t care about Mito or anything, but he’s found something that kept his focus real heard. And Mito imagines what it is.
Their dialogue and her glance right after that hint why she can’t even be angry at Gon - because she’s not looking at him, only. Every time it would make sense to show only Gon but we get to see Killua by his side, too, is a visual message to the readers. Mito could’ve only looked at Gon, ‘cause she just met Killua and he’s not related to her. But she observes the meaning of his presence, even if Gon does not say it.
The star gazing scene, one of the most important in the story and something we are very familiar with so, sorry to bring it up again - I know you all must be tired of seeing the same panels (but I adore it and I will keep using it). It starts with scenery that are important memories of Gon’s life when he was alone, now bringing a new meaning to them, someone to share with: Killua.
When Killua approached Gon’s plans from now on, and after getting his answer, he questions what he should do. Gon says that he should come with him.
And here is another example how a simple choice of words - not only the words itself, but the timing when they’re said and the position, the “breath” between then, or even their absence - can mean so much as fantastic and complex storytelling strategies. Because Gon only gets to know that Killua, actually, doesn’t have any plan AFTER he asks him to join. He’s not asking because Killua don’t have it - he didn’t know that before he asked - but because he wants him to stick together. This is why it’s important that this request was said and showed before Killua elaborates on his feelings, so we can know that it’s not because “since you have nothing to do”. And fun fact: Killua is the only friend that Gon actually insists to not leave. The chapter when Kurapika and Leorio head to their goals, Gon just said “oh, already? - okay, see you/good luck/something like that”, with a honest smile. And I know Gon says “see you around” to Killua at the separation scene, but it’s also the first time he's shown unsatisfied with this decision, not smiling at all, implying he’s not okay.
Continuing, its Gon putting Killua in a place that no other belongs. It’s a re-signification of Killua, Gon’s favorite places, his home and their future - everything starts to change and take form to the audience.
To Gon, it’s about sticking together because they like hanging out. This is the main reason for his request, since it’s the first thing he says about it - and further he adds their individual reasons, to be more convincing, but the core is what it is.
As we know, Mito overheard everything, specially the moment when they start to compliment her and Gon says she is his real mother. Then, later, we have chapter 65, now a re-signification of Gon’s relationship with Ging and Mito.
After accidentally hearing his words, we can interpret that she’s not that insecure anymore about losing Gon to his new found career. It was bittersweet when Gon left, after all “he is indeed his son”. But she realizes he’s different from Ging - he comes back, he values her, he could be in search of something he doesn’t have like news from his biological mom but instead, he chooses to embrace what he does have. Gon can’t even imagine how impactful his reassuring words were, and it’s also a opportunity for Mito to let out the resent on Ging and the Hunters, giving place to finally trust Gon.
And she tells him what the absence of Ging means to her. How she got hurt, but still wanted to have him around. And that’s when Gon takes Ging out of his place in his heart: it’s time to put him in his true place and make space for those who stay: Mito and Killua.
We don’t need to give titles and special places to those who are undeserved of it and should just perform a specific role in our lives as we let them. Mito herself craved for Ging’s attention, always running after him, seeing him only by his back, hiding/missing just for him to come to her aid. Gon realizes that it’s what he’s doing - he does not have someone to call a father, because Ging never make up to this title. He downgrades Ging to the same person Mito knew.
And now, even if he still feels the urge to prove Ging he’s not weak and undeserved of attention, company and worth, he definitely is not the same person and does not want to be. Ging is not the “dad who I want to follow the same steps” anymore. And then, we go back to Killua:
“But Bea, what does this have to do with Killua? We’re only seeing Mito and Gon there!” Actually not! We’re seeing Killua too, but not physically. We get to connect Killua to this scene by a simple line Gon said one chapter before, about Killua’s meaning to his life:
To Gon, it’s enough just to know this answer. Why? This line is VERY specific, literally the same thing he said to Killua in the previous chapter. He chose to bring it to table. It’s a soft - and literary - way to say his priority changed and to connect Killua to his objective. He reclaims Mito as his real mother, downgrades Ging AND shows what it comes first at his mind now - wanting to know if Ging had the same thing he has with Killua, stating his friend’s importance. “Look, Ging, how far I got. Who I took with me. Did you have this?”
And this could easily be sided with the end of Greed Island, when Gon says the first thing he’ll do when finding Ging is to introduce Killua. ‘Cause in his main goal now, the first things that come up to his mind aren’t being just like Ging and reunite with him anymore - it’s the “friend around my age”, it’s “Killua” and everything that refers to him. It changed. Gon was behind something he didn’t have, his father presence and some pride, and comes back with something even better he didn’t have either: a true friendship, who wants to be there and assure his worth.
And for me, that is the reason Togashi ends Mito and Gon’s conversation with a specific panel, not of them, not with a picture of Ging, not with the sky only... but with this:
Killua. A person not mentioned in their dialogue directly, and someone who’s not family and isn’t in the same room as them. But that is there, respecting his privacy with Mito. This is there for us to catch. It’s not a direct exchange between Gon and Killua, they’ll still do it in their way, because its meant for us: when two characters are not showed together in the same situation/moment, but are referred directly or indirectly, it’s a writing choice that means “it’s for you, the readers, to connect this.”
Togashi could've never put the “did he have friends his age?” line that wouldn’t make a difference - we would go with this Gon “new approach on Ging” because of how Mito feels, and would be satisfying enough. But the author, with this sentence used in the previous chapter and this panel, it’s reclaiming the audience to catch Gon’s new focus and remind us of Killua, that he’s there, relaxed, patient - and does not intend to leave.
EDIT: I truly think Mito will play a major role in the realization of Gon’s feelings. She’s, since the beginning, an important person and a cog who makes his significations move, first subconsciously, now more actively - but I’ll elaborate more on that in future posts.
Not deep, not a serious research, but something fun to elaborate that is implied in text, i’m used to catch this stuff and seeing by this perspective by dealing with literature classes on a daily basis. Does not mean I’m an expert or that I’m right, but that is something I’m quite sure its on purpose. Hope you all enjoyed!

1. Get Paid To Test Websites & Apps:
I took web testing service as #1 in the list of how to make money online for free because you will be surprised to know that there are many websites that pay a lot of money to just test different website or app performance. Website & app testing is a type of job that you can do from your home for free. What you need is just an internet connection and some time to spend every day and you can earn from $5 to $75 daily or sometimes even more than that.
Some very popular websites which pay a handsome amount for testing
UserTesting
Enroll
TestingTime
TryMyUI
UserFeel
UserLytics
UserZoom
Why They Pay This Much for Testing?
You might be thinking, why would somebody pay you this much to test website. What do you think about a website which is not userfriendly? Obviously, it will not attract a good amount of customers. When you create an online business presence then you try your best to create an awesome and catchy website or app or store so that the visitor converts immediately.
But no matter how hard you try you can’t think of the perfection so you need some real-time users to tell you if there is any betterment you can adopt or is there something your website is lacking e.g. if the fonts and colour combination is good, is navigation userfriendly, if the pop-ups are good, if there is any bug that you can identify, is the content boring etc.
Everyone wants profit and these faults can impact the business growth badly so they are happy to pay other people to have a deep look at their site for them and provide feedback.
You can be one of those people and get paid. You just go online, click on a website, take a few notes and you’re done. What you need is to have a good skill to see what is good for a website or app and what is not. Look for broken links, styling and colour combination etc. Find errors, do testing and that’s it.
2. Get Paid To Review Songs.
Next in the list of making free money online is reviewing and rating songs for money. Not many people know this that you can make a lot of money by listening to music and writing reviews on it. Among the 16 ways to make money online, I am placing “Get Paid To Review Songs” on the 2nd position. The sites mentioned below can help you make money online for free.
Why are these sites paying you?
As we talked in the previous topic that businesses pay you to test their websites similarly people and new musicians especially want to see if their music is worthy production and what is the likeness of the listeners. So they list their music or songs on such sites and ask these websites visitors to take their time reviewing the song and get paid. These feedbacks help musical artists find the direction needed for their songs.
Just open the sites given below and create your profile. Some websites require pre-approval for your account. Once your profile is approved, you are supposed to do two things: Listen and review. Listen to new and upcoming artist’s songs and write reviews about them. The more you listen, the more money you make.

When it comes to content marketing, there’s no substitute for hard work and expertise, but at the same time, there’s also no point in doing work that’s unnecessary! That’s why we’ve put together these 5 shortcuts to help supercharge your content marketing. There are a number of tools and processes that we as content marketers can use to improve our efficiency and ultimately, our results. Some will simply improve efficiency, while others will open up opportunities to explore that you may never have considered. We want these to be easily digestible, so please contact SiteVisibility if you’d like to know more about any aspect of this post. So, without further ado, let’s dive into how you can improve your content marketing… HARO: Help a Reporter Out We’re big fans of HARO here at SiteVisibility as it’s a simple and free way to find journalists and writers who need your expertise with an upcoming story that they are writing. By using the service, we’ve managed to secure press and blog coverage by responding to journalists requests in both our own marketing efforts and in our client campaigns. Once you sign up, you can select which industries you’re interested in and then you’ll receive daily alerts of journalists that are looking for help with a story that fits your criteria. If you find a request that fits perfectly for you or your clients, all you need to do is respond through the service and if your contribution gets used, you/your client will receive full credit within the story and usually a link too. With world-renowned and well-respected media outlets like Time & The New York Times using the platform, it provides a great opportunity to gain links from high-authority sites that are relevant to you, whilst also helping you to become an authority in your field. For us, using HARO is a no brainer. To help you get started, I’ll let you in on a few of our little secrets for how to help you get your response seen over others: I often include a little bit about me, my experience which qualifies me to answer their query, the company, and links to my Twitter/LinkedIn/website etc. This can help the journalist to filter out any responses that may not be relevant. For the subject line to the email, I tend to put “HARO Response: [query] – [name] from [company]”. Ensure that what you’re contributing is as useful for the author and their audience as possible and don’t just try to promote your company or product. Do whatever you can to make it easy for the journalist and you’ll be much more likely to be featured. Write your contribution so they can just copy and paste it straight from your email if necessary and link to (don’t attach) any images you feel may be helpful. Finally, the deadlines are often short on these so they tend to require a response within at least 24 hours, the quicker you can respond the more likely it is that they’ll use your response. Alternatively, if you’re looking for inspiration or expert input for content of your own, you can use HARO to have your query included on the email alerts that go out. It’s a fantastic way to improve the authority of your content… and it also incentivises anybody you’ve featured to share it once it’s published. Win win. What we like about HARO in a nutshell Access to a wide range of content and PR opportunities, fast Minimal ongoing work required Multiple industries, markets and languages Daily email alerts for opportunities Provides sources to quote in your own content It’s mostly free So, what are you waiting for? Subscribe to HARO here. SEMrush Content Audit Tool SEMrush is one of the best SEO and Marketing platforms out there and frankly, we could write a whole blog series about the sheer amount of functionality it has, but we have clients that need work delivering too! For this post, I’m looking specifically at the SEMrush Content Audit Tool. Content auditing is one of the most important aspects of content marketing and if you’re like us, in the past you’ve had to use various crawling and reporting tools to get the data you need and then use a combination of VLOOKUPs, formulas, tables and charts to collate the data into a usable excel file. With the need for SEO data like page tags, response codes, canonicals etc., combined with metrics from Google Analytics and Google Search Console, further combined with social sharing data, it can take hours just to get this all in one place, and that’s before you even start doing the actual work. Running the content audit tool allows you to crawl your site (up to 20,000 pages), or just individual folders, to identify poorly performing pages and areas for improvement across your site. Once your pages have been analysed, the tool gives you a handy dashboard to work from and categorises your content into four areas: Content that you should Rewrite or Remove Content that Needs to be Updated Any Poor Content on your site Any content that can be Reviewed Quickly This makes it really easy to start analysing the content on your site and to create tasks for your team to start rewriting & updating, plus you can start giving the content a good old prune. When used as part of the wider Content and SEO Toolkits with tools such as Topic Research, Competitive Analysis, Rank Tracking and the Content Analyzer, you can gain a vast amount of insight and assistance with your content marketing, and your overall digital marketing, all in one place. More importantly, it also allows you to keep track of the changes you’re making and to see if they’re having the desired effect on your content performance. The amount of time we’ve saved by streamlining the process is significant, and it allows us to do stuff like this… We’re not on the SEMrush payroll I promise, we just like to share tools that we really think will help fellow marketers. If you’d like more information about content audits then this content audit guide from SEMrush is very useful and if you think your site would benefit from a content audit, or you need help with your content marketing strategy, don’t hesitate to contact us. What we like about the SEMrush Content Audit tool in a nutshell Huge levels of functionality and customisation Very efficient – can streamline your content marketing workflow Seamless with other tools Handy dashboard so you can get started right away Everything you need is in one place Good product support Hubspot Blog Ideas Generator Hubspot are one of the big players when it comes to marketing and SEO platforms, but what we like most about their Blog Ideas Generator is that apart from putting in your contact details, it’s free. You simply put in a couple of nouns related to the subject you want to write about and it generates 250 potential blog titles that you can use to get the cogs in your head turning. It’s important to note that it’s not perfect and you will get some gibberish, but we’ve found that we can take these titles and then do some further topic and/or keyword research to come up with content we think will be useful for our audience. It’s not an end in itself, but it can be a very useful jumping off point, and it may even open avenues that you hadn’t considered. Hubspot also has the additional benefit of saving you a considerable amount of time and resource that would otherwise be used getting your marketing or content marketing team into a room to brainstorm content ideas. Top Tip: Use this tool alongside something like SEMrush’s Content Analyzer to see what competitors have been doing. See what ranks well for search queries related to your topic, and analyse them to see if there are any aspects of content/layout/design that Google seems to be deeming as important. CoSchedule’s Headline Analyzer tool can help you fine tune the headline too for maximum effect. What we like about the Hubspot Blog Ideas Generator in a nutshell It’s quick and free It can save your marketing team time It serves as a great starting point for a brainstorming session It can open your eyes to content or topic areas you hadn’t considered before Moz Keyword Explorer SERP Analysis & Features The SERP Features functionality within the Moz Keyword Explorer is a fantastic way of determining at a glance what sort of SERP features Google is showing for a given query. At a dashboard level, it also combines your tracked keywords into groups and gives you a top-level breakdown of the features that are most common in that group. For example, if you have a keyword group for queries related to SEO Agency you would see the following: In this example, we can see that the most common SERP features for these queries are Reviews, Related Questions, Local Packs and Featured Snippets. Therefore, we already know that Google sees these as important, and that these should be featured on the page, and in the case of related questions or snippets, we format our content as best as we can to appear here. If you’d like to dig deeper, Moz also allows you to review the SERPS on a keyword by keyword basis. Of course, you could do this manually too, but when combined with the additional metrics that you can see below, you can quickly and easily understand what sort of content Google values for a given query, and act accordingly. From the screenshot above, we can see that for this term there are plenty of different opportunities for a business to rank, away from the organic results. If we were to use SiteVisibility in this example, the obvious areas are in the 3x Local Packs, the Featured Snippet or Related Questions, or potentially the knowledge panel. Knowing this allows us to tailor our content for this term accordingly… and we were able to see this in less than a minute. This post is an excellent summary of all the different Google SERP Features in 2019 if you’d like to know more. As part of an overall keyword strategy, the Moz Keyword Explorer is an excellent tool to streamline your processes and save a lot of time on analysis. What we like in a nutshell Quick and simple to use Useful for both top level and granular research Makes content research and planning much more efficient We hope you’ve found these tools and shortcuts helpful, we’d love to hear if you have any of your own you’d be willing to share. Comment below or speak to us on our social channels. If you’d like to find out more about out Content Marketing services, then don’t hesitate to get in contact with us we can discuss how we can improve your site. I consider myself a warrior of fortune--you can daily find me dutifully filling out surveys and watching ads in various services that will give you gift cards for being a cog in the capitalist machine, and I’ll put my hand in toward anything promising semi-paid semi-labor.
This is especially true with ground-floor terribly-planned enterprises, which is how I was able to legally flimflam Bing out of $15 worth of gift cards by searching for pictures of animals once a day. So of course after the initial wave of nausea and secondhand embarrassment over Garfield Go, I was installing it and ready to see how effectively I--and any other card-hunters--could grin and bear my way to some free Starbucks.
The Garfield emulation is so complete that you already know the punchline before reading it, but come along, won’t you?
WARNING: Yes I will be comparing it to Pokemon Go. To be fair, it knows EXACTLY what it’s doing.
WARNING THE SECOND: I batch-edited these and Tumblr doesn’t like the size, but in keeping with the true Garfield spirit, I’m too lazy to edit them again. You’re not missing anything.
The first thing I managed to do was break the app. I disallowed AR, thinking that it would have a stock background similar to PoGo, because that shit eats battery like...God, I don’t have it in me to make a lasagna joke, just let it be said that rather than issue a warning, it went to an entirely black screen. I fixed it manually and was greeted with Not Garfield on my coffee table, demanding food. Contrary to his nature, he refused to eat anything I didn’t curveball directly into his dish. My sister and warrior-in-apps commented on how I managed to land it in on my second try, and I realized I actually had an edge from never giving up on PoGo. Not a lot of edge, and not enough to get it more than one out of three times, but it set my spirits moderately high.
I did some checking around in the app, and wasn’t able to find much to do while stationary except bake food. I wasn’t sure what it was for, but when an app tells you to do a free time-based thing, you do it, and I threw a lasagna on. I was offered the option to bake it immediately for more in-game currency than it cost to buy one. I had a couple thousand free starter coins but also first-grade math skills, and declined.
The time was ripe. After trading comments on how janky the controls were (you have to use two fingers in a twisting motion to change the map view, which is one of the dirtiest sounding and looking mechanics I've seen since jerk-off jogging in Wii Fit), my sister and I parted ways and the experiment began.
My nightly walks tend to be heavy on the “nightly”. This led to the game’s first flaw disguised as a perk: While it’s true that it will gladly put its Pokestops anywhere (they’re Bistros here), “anywhere” includes “your neighbor’s apartment”. They’re also full minigames, which means instead of giving your phone a quick swipe, you stop dead and play a lackluster Simon expy, because there is nothing less awkward and likely to get security called on you than standing in front of someone’s house at 11:42 at night silently tapping away on your phone for an extended period of time. I threw the game, got some free food, and quickly moved on before I had to explain my motivations.
Things got dark fast. I mean that literally. One of the other reasons forced AR is a problem is that it isn’t built for nighttime play. Every time I tapped a hotspot, it gave me a “Waiting For GPS” screen before dropping Goblinfield in pitch black, enticing me to appease him with baked sacrifices. It’s a simple mechanic: If you successfully pitch food into his dish, Gerbfield will eat and then find a chest for you to open. It’s also a highly broken one. The food items are all made of lead that turns into rubber on the impact, requiring an unsatisfying Herculean toss to pitch a piece of cake that’ll most likely either miss or bounce back out again. You get three tries, which is somewhat generous, but the sheer frustration nullifies it. My frustration was amplified on the realization that GarGo does not allow you to throw high enough to even possibly hit Goobfield in the face.
"Hey kids, wanna see where I hid Lyman's body? Tap the box."
One of the things that is admittedly sort of clever is having a button to tap to refresh hotspots. One of the things that is not is not instructing the player that it's there. I was a third of the way through my usual route before I noticed it and could begin playing again. I stopped for a moment to relate the information to my sister. She replied that the app was claiming she was ten blocks from where she was and near an inexplicable horseshoe-shaped structure. I took a side-by-side of where I was to relate GerBo's...relaxed attitude toward geography and also the laws of physics.
Novelty was running low, but I got a boost in determination from getting my first gift card...fragment?
Well, that explained how the gift card scenario was going to shake down. I could guess how many first pieces of the promised $100 gift card were already being given out and how few of the next two would ever be found, much less that golden fourth, but that was fine. I play these for the little prizes, not the big ones, because expecting to win anything that isn't roughly 1/80,000th the value they squeeze out of you is a recipe for disappointment. I kept going.
The hotspots led me into the local Safeway, which happened to also house a Pokestop, and I ran flat against a new flaw: The game is NOT subtle. PoGo can be played with relative normalcy 80% of the time, since you can turn AR off and keep marching staunchly ahead as you catch. GerfCo requires either violently whipping around at 180 degrees or slowly turning the same distance with your phone up like a pod person, and I was quickly pressed to decide which was worse. I ended up buying a candy bar as a social apology for looking like a jerk in a public place and hopefully as an unspoken excuse for being there. Upon doing so, I realized I didn't have any cash on hand and was paying for a dollar candy bar at midnight in Safeway with a credit card, which made me look like a right pillock instead of a jerk, but now one hundred pennies deep into this venture, I soldiered on, chocolate in hand.
I had noticed by this point that the food system was tiered, so I switched to the one piece of lasagna starting the game had given me and stuck the landing. This gave me a "better chance" of finding the highest-tier chest, but I was unsurprised that it wasn't one. I was more surprised by what was inside.
I hope you weren't expecting "that $100 gift card". Ah, yes, Garfield's trademark white fedora, the one he's so known for wearing. Compelled to take every chance available to make this experience as viscerally unpleasant as possible, I equipped it immediately.
This is why I need meninism.
Things weren't getting better. The next refresh of the hotspots spawned absolutely every one on the other side of the street. I was now adding "crossing the road in the middle of the night" to the list of fun-filled family activities GlorpNo had to offer. I had run out of food and was now using the in-game currency to buy it fresh. My iPod, which has slowly developed sentience over the years, kept shuffling up Mountain Goats songs. I was starting to feel distinctly unnerved.
PoGo wasn't averse to getting its two cents in on the matter.
Standing outside of a dimly lit Pizza Hut where the cashier was closing out their drawer and probably wondering if the guy whipping around in half-circles outside the building was planning the world's illest-advised burglary, I won a comic strip panel. Not a comic strip. A single panel. Despite the ability to look up literally every Garfield strip ever made on multiple platforms with a casual Google search, I was being given a single panel of a single strip as a hallowed reward. I pictured a small child working for days for the RNG to let them read a three-panel strip in full, staring bleakly at the one they had in the meantime and wondering if it was the punchline or the setup.
I began redefining my understanding of the term "liminal space".
By this point, I was entirely out of food, nearly out of coins, and on my last percentage of patience. As if sent by Jim Davis’ automated humorbot itself begging me to reconsider, I got a notification that the lasagna I had started making an hour and a half ago was done. I hauled ass to the next hotspot and got ready to make good.
Yeah you all saw that coming. You know, Globeel, if I tossed a fiver toward a busker’s case and it landed behind it, they would just pick it up. I know it’s food but 1) you’re a cat 2) you are Garfield the Cat (question mark heavily implied) 3) at least the busker offers a return service.
I need to state that at this point I was actually going to stay with this game, despite my readily apparent feelings on it. It's not fun, it's not a mentally rewarding experience, but I am by nature a patient person, and I was willing to stick with it for the eventual gains. That's how you win at these things--being willing to put the time in for the gradual increments to stack up. I was actually looking forward to going home and checking in on food I was baking and slowly going after the gold.
Then I decided to check what I had earned so far, and the entire thing came to a screeching halt.
Here’s the grift, folks, here's how the carnival game works. Remember how the system is tiered? You have to have the highest-tier item to get a chance of seeing one of those diamond chests, and there's no guarantee the piece will be inside. Again, it takes an hour and a half to bake one piece of lasagna, or else 350 coins to buy one. You get a small handful of coins from chests and a slightly larger handful if you finish a "trinket" collection, but unless you are willing to devote your waking hours to the game, your recourse is buying your way there. And...how much are those coins?
Yyyyyeah. It's Vegas, baby. You pay to play and the house always wins.
So, friendly fast-buck-sters, this app definitely isn't worth it for money value. If it was a matter of staying inside and rolling the dice while I multitask, I might be on board for chasing the golden ticket, but GlerbGubler demands all of your attention in public spaces and turns out Sisyphean as a result, if Sisyphus was constantly aware of how awkward he looked pushing that damned boulder. Play Lucktastic, join e-rewards, get into the sites that actually reward you consistently for a reasonable amount of effort. Your time does have value, so make sure it's honored.
I uninstalled the app on the way home. Deleted all the data I had, torched it. Stood on the sidewalk laughing, watching it burn, all tabby cat orange and lasagna sauce red. Then I put on a top 40 station, got on the Hollywood Freeway, headed north.
Never could stand that cat.

Another Plus One For Crypto; Banking Giants Fined Billions for Malpractice
For their misconducts, US and European regulators are imposing heavy fines on global banks. Solid research findings indicate that fines could top $400 billion by 2020 according to reports by Quinlan and Associates. Most of these stems from their malpractice in the few months leading to the great financial crisis of 2008. That’s not including fines from money laundering and unfairly billing customers.
On Monday, The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) fined JP Morgan Chase Bank $65 million for failing to prevent their traders from fixing the US Dollar International Swaps and Derivatives Association Fix (USD ISDAFIX) between 2007 and 2012. Developed in 1998 by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), Thomas Reuters and NEX Group PLC, ISDAFIX is a reference rate value important for fixed interest swap rates. The ISDAFIX fixes are determined by the US Dollar, Swiss Franc, British Pound and Euro. These rates were published every day from Monday to Friday at 11AM Eastern time and meant to represent the “prevailing mid-market rate, at a specific time of day, for the fixed leg of a standard fixed-for-floating interest rate swap” according to the CFTC.
Big Banks Fined
The CFTC penalized JP Morgan Chase for publishing false interest rates just before the daily reference point snap shot was taken between 2007 and 2012. By knowingly submitting false data, the bank’s derivative positions benefited at the expense of other interest rate products which depended on the common interest rate value. This is because aside from being a cash settlement option for interest rate swaps, the index acted as a valuation tool for other interest rate products which the Swaps Broker distributed to panel banks.
JP Morgan Chase bank is not the only bank to be fined. BNP Paribas was fined $90 million by the CFTC when investigations found that traders of the bank’s investment wing were actively bidding and executing trades at around the 11AM rate submission time. This way they deliberately influenced the USD ISDAFIX index affecting products as LIBOR and foreign exchange benchmark rates. The Royal Bank of Scotland was also charged $85 million for similar offenses committed during the same time frame.
Though an important cog in the global financial system, banks have been accused on numerous occasions of facilitating money laundering and outright manipulation. For compliance, reports indicate that global banks are now spending more than $500 million dollars for compliance purposes and lawyers. This is regardless of their tough insistence of Know Your Customer (KYC) details and regulator enforcement of Anti-Money Laundering rules.
In April, two federal regulators, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), fined Wells Fargo $500 million each for charging unfair interest fees on mortgages and forcing customers into unnecessary car insurance schemes.
Last week, the CEO of Danske Bank, Thomas Borgen resigned after reports by Business Insider claimed the bank’s Estonian branch was involved in a money laundering scandals running to their billions following an investigation. Criminals ran 9.7 million transactions between 2007 and 2015 laundering $234 billion from around 10,000 non-resident accounts.
Reports as such provide a big vote of confidence for cryptocurrency. In Bitcoin’s public ledger for example, the incentives to launder money or coerce with the intent of submitting false information is near impossible thanks to the transparency and verification checks in place.

(http://www.MaritimeCyprus.com) Petty Officer Michael Kelly, a rescue swimmer with the United States Coast Guard, received the 2019 IMO Award for Exceptional Bravery at Sea during 2019 IMO Awards ceremony.
Petty Officer Kelly was recognized for his courage, perseverance and skill in rescuing four survivors from a life raft from a sinking fishing vessel, in extremely high winds, battling huge waves to swim to rescue each survivor and get them winched to safety.
Petty Officer Kelly, Aviation Survival Technician Second Class, Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, United States Coast Guard, was nominated by the United States of America for his part in the rescue operation in November 2018.
Accepting the award, Petty Officer Kelly said it was an immeasurable honour and truly humbling to be recognized by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the global organization that sets the standards for maritime safety and security. He acknowledged the teamwork involved in the rescue.
The International Maritime Organization’s 2019 Bravery Awards. IMO HQ, London, 25th November 2019.
“I would not be here if it was not for the amazing skills of my crew. Their precision and focus allowed me to act as a tiny cog in the large process of search and rescue, that we are all so passionate about and train for daily,” Mr. Kelly said. “There is nothing more precious than human life and we all strive to go home to the ones we love.”
Four rescued from fishing vessel
On 14 November 2018, during heavy storms, the crew of the rescue helicopter CG6032 was directed to provide assistance to the sinking fishing vessel Aaron and Melissa II. The vessel’s four crew members were abandoning ship in very severe weather conditions, 70 miles off the Coast of Maine, United States.
After taking off, the helicopter crew immediately encountered very strong turbulence and gusts up to 60 knots. Arriving on scene, the aircrew located a life raft, battered by raging seas.
Michael Kelly was immediately deployed into the cold water. Battling 20-foot waves and chasing the raft, which was constantly being blown away by 50-knot winds, he finally managed to reach the anchor line and pull himself to the life raft.
It was a critical situation, with all four survivors suffering from hypothermia. Two were unable to swim, while the flooded raft was in danger of capsizing. With great strength and stamina, Michael Kelly pulled each survivor from the raft, one by one, swimming strongly through the storm to keep them afloat. Each was lifted into the swaying rescue basket to be hoisted to safety.
After each rescue, Kelly was forced to regain lost ground, as the heavy winds continued to push the raft further away. He fought through extreme weather conditions, as well as physical and mental exhaustion, to save the lives of four seafarers in distress.
The IMO Council in July agreed with a panel of judges that Petty Officer Michael Kelly had demonstrated truly exceptional bravery and determination.
