Soon the tea party gossip between old friends and apparent war crimes was amplified when a cloud blackened his view, surrounding him with hundreds of messenger crows that Phil had sent to keep his family updated on his adventures with the most important people in his life, he laughed with joy as he tried to pay attention to the messages he had been receiving for a while.

It was a dense cloud, so dense that Missa had difficulty seeing beyond his nose and even so he smiled happily knowing that Philza had been able to safely reunite with his people, he was a little afraid that as soon as they escaped from quesadilla the older man would not longer want him and the reaper would never see him again thanks to the difference in power between them, from the angel of death to a simple death reaper made him feel small.

Stupefied, he still does not notice how among the sea of ​​feathers that still surround them, a pair of revitalized wings press around him like a shield against the elements.

Of course Philza son who is gone for ages comes back to Philza having a husband and a little brother. And the first thing he decides is too beef with what is the amount of a baby. Just a grown adult fighting with a baby for his father attention. The amount of playful pettiness towards chayanne was astounding. The amount of times chayanne stabbed his canonical older brother because 1) he is like a guard dog at this rate and it’s kill strangers on sight. I love this question so much, because I‘ve had ideas surrounding this and majority are just.. painful WHEEZE

The idea I‘ve currently been most insistent on is one that you‘ve already mentioned :

All those memories are in fact fake.

Those who were created by the Federation but have memories of a past before arriving at the Island are all fake, made up to be believed. They are basically fake memories that cover up their true ‘past‘, being memories of growing up within the Federation.

An example of that would be for Phil and the Antarctic Empire.

Phil has memories of his adventures during the Antarctic Empire era, however majority of those memories are fake. Certain people ‘he got to know‘ during that time however are actual people that exist, just in very different ways ( e.g. Wilbur counts under these too ).

I imagine that the people that were created by the Federation and share some kind of past with others have shared fake memories, even if one of them isn‘t made by the Federation. I‘ll take Phil & Fit here as another example - they claim to be old friends, having known each other for a while, especially when Phil was still in the Antarctic Empire. Again, the only one in this Duo that was made by the Federation here is Phil, yet they share memories.

The Federation has basically created these fake memories to even other people so they all fit in easier ( hence why everyone upon arriving woke up on the train, etc. rather than remember getting on it and all ).

If I go through with it, I‘d most likely go with something similar with the fake memories for Phil & Wilbur - I‘m not always the biggest fan of having them be blood related family or a father-son relationship ( it heavily depends on how it’s set up tho ) and I more so headcanon that in these ( albeit fake ) memories they are also rather friends that have ‘known each other for years‘ and Wilbur sees Phil as maybe a kinda older brother figure, but has called him Dadza and all as an ongoing joke based on Phils behaviour & all, including ‘past memories‘.

It‘d also most likely connect back to the Antarctic Empire stuff too, their conflicts and playful interactions based on SMPEarth a bit, etc.

I hope this clears up some things :D

Gonna be mentally ill and parasocial about Wilbur and c!Wilbur for a sec.

It's amazing and also sad how quickly and thoroughly Wilbur has been erased from the things that at one time felt intrinsically tied to him.

Tallulah was easy. He was hardly around anyway, so it was just a matter of making her look more like her other parents.

c!Wilbur as c!Philza's son seemed like such an entangled thread that I wasn't sure how people would pull it off. But instead he's just been... erased. The Dadza focus has been shifted to the eggs, and even c!Tommy if people want to revisit DSMP.

I see so much more bedrock bros content now than before, likely the natural consequence of SBI fans removing c!Wilbur.

Even now after the initial exposure, content creators don't talk about him. Lots of people make biting jokes, yeah, but I don't really see it from the people he was actually close to. Boom. Erased.

The absolute most I hear about him anymore is from grieving Lovejoy fans, and #wilbursupportsquad teens on Twitter. None of it is on par with the deep dive character studies and fandom that existed before.

And like. This is 100% deserved. This is what deplatforming means. He's done.

And it makes me so sad, in a way. He'd come so far, done so much, even celebrated his stardom on QSMP. He carried his story from the DSMP with him everywhere. He had a legacy, and now it's gone forever due to his own actions.

God I don't know where to start, dadza being all cunning while leading Tech into the realisation that like he knows about chat before giving him a hug. I love how he's like all calm and like being all devious while doing it but i can just imagine the absolute crab rave going on in his head about getting a hug from his new sonboy! Phil: hugging techno all sneaky while chat is rioting Tech: wraps an arm further around Phil so chat calms down more / subconsciously seeking comfort Phil mentally: !!!! SON!!!! YESS!!!!!! Phil outwards: Ah yes just as I planned Oh and also the talks about royalty they had with each other Techno: "Yea I don't really like the whole vibes of royalty" Phil: slowly sliding away a crown he had made for his new baby Phil: "That's nice m8" (Can you tell i love their dynamic yet lmao) Oh also that scene with Tommy and Techno bickering about braiding the hair was so good! I didn't get to write Philza for the first, like, 9 chapters. I'm making up for lost time, now. Needed some Em Duo, STAT!

Oh yeah, Philza is scheming. He's steepling his fingers, petting a cat in his lap as he turns around in his swivel chair. He's making STRATEGIES. He keeps telling his kids to be smart about their new brother, but they aren't listening. And, like, he's not exactly ENCOURAGING Tommy and Wil to continue to be little shits with no boundaries, but he's going to take that advantage while he can.

To be fair to Wil and Tommy, they don't really know how to NOT be clingy. Tommy just had to get used to Philza. And Wilbur's induction to the family was a little more...urgent so there wasn't the awkward dragging him back home. Also, both of them were just Clingy as humans. They might know the definition of Touch Averse, but they don't really get what that means.

I had a lot of fun with Techno making digs at the notion of royalty. It made me cackle, considering the irony of those statements.

I'm sure there will be no brotherly issues on this road trip. :)

Also, I lost my shit at Techno going 👁👁. That's so hilarious. The concept of them locking him in the carriage and him staring out the window like a dog left in a car in walmart.

aaa thank you I had so much fun describing all the little ways the kids could've looked off in that stream. I was going for an uncanny valley kind of thing. there's nothing blatantly wrong, but it's just too many little things that are too perfect to be real.

I also had so much fun describing the sign language. I definitely struggle with writing signing in the sense that I always debate whether to keep the sentences closer to direct interpretations/translations or to lean into the interpretation side of things since the text is an interpretation of what they're saying and isn't exact. but when it comes to describing how someone signs like how their hands move and all I enjoy diving into that because it's essentially how you describe someone's tone of voice, but in a completely different way than what i'm used to. I just love sign language man I need to practice my own signing more

I was very happy with those lines you pointed out :) both the cuteness of the storyteller one, but also the description of phil killing the fake chayanne. I loved imagining how the binary monster chayanne and tallulah could've looked. like were they more magic or robotic? bc a mass of flying binary code technically would look closer to magic in a realistic setting, but I thought a more robotic vibe would represent what it is a bit more accurately
