I keep on thinking about the DadFO theory, and I honestly think it wouldn't have made sense (good theory I love the AU's made with it but still in the canon NO).

In my mind, AFO should have made a jab at Izuku being his kid at some point. Even just a whiff of a hint. But we got NOTHING. So unless AFO has severe memory issues, or he legit had a one night stand with Inko, I ain't buying it.

I genuinely hope that afo isn't deku's dad bc it feels like then deku was always destined to face off against him. it takes away from the theme that deku is nothing special; ur average short king, gag character, with a load of unaddressed mental issues and maladaptive coping skills trying to chase his dream. i love that he can be smart without being a top-of-the-class genius and that his starting line was so far behind everyone elses that he had to work super hard to make ofa his own!!!

thinking about the dAdFO theory, and he doesn't look like he has freckles, nor can i really imagine him with them. and obviously inko also doesn't have freckles presently; although izuku could have very well inherited them from a grandparent, i'd like to think that inko DID have freckles, but she got them removed (either via legitimate medical science or a quirk) because she used to be bullied for them.

That is true; even AFO believed the sham story. And, plot-wise, if AFO did know, Hawks wouldn't have been a secret to him either since Hawks has been in training for 15 years.... Hmmm... Well, I don't want to poke that house of cards, so I guess AFO didn't have an inside man.

I also like stories that explore AFO and Izuku's shared quirk curiosity. DadFO is the least interesting aspect; Izuku losing interest in people over their abilities is fascinating.

Shigaraki Sr. is an updated version of Naruto's Orochimaru and Bleach's Aizen, but actually enjoying his morbid curiosity where Orochi and Aizen where all talk. The trappings of mad scientist intelligence with little behind it.

But My Hero Academia, with the main villain and hero both being quirk nerds? I feel so seen!

You know what I just thought of that gets forgotten a lot I the DadFO theory that adds to it?

Yoichi Shigaraki- first user of OFA and AFO's little brother- has the same eye color as Izuku.

I think it gets overlooked because Inko has green eyes too but I would like to make a mention that Inko has a noticeably darker eye color than Izuku, and Izuku's eyes more closely resemble Yoichi's.

how did you fell for the dadfo theory?

was it through reading/brainstorming theories, or when you were watching the anime or reading the manga you suddenly thought “these two are father and son”??

I read a fic called Conversation With A Cryptid, which is a meta fic. I went from, "Oh, what a funny concept!" to "That makes a disturbing amount of sense...".

But I kinda have a "!!!!!!!!" moment when I looked at AFO again and I saw how his helmet looked like Darth Vader's. Add to that all the Star Wars references and that was making too much sense.
