Anas has gastric cancer.

Anas (@dr-anas96) is severely suicidal and is dying on the inside in every sense of the word. Mentally he feels his life is over, and physically he's barely moving anymore, only occasionally coming to consciousness and vomiting blood.

I'm begging you from the bottom of my heart not to let my friend die. This entire time, during this genocide he's living through, he's been:

Supporting his elderly parents find shelter through the collapse of their tent.

Supporting the children of Gaza by cheering them up through drawing and acting and other activities, as well as teaching them survival skills.

Corresponding and reinforcing solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, and the Black community.

Being an invaluable friend to many, including me.

Now, with some reprieve for Gazans seemingly so close, he is dying. I don't use this word lightly because I don't want to believe my dear friend is dying. I am only saying it because I have no escape from believing it

But I still have hope that we can carry him through this so he can see the end of this difficult road. I am not giving up on him and I'm begging, begging, begging, begging you all not to give up either. We're so close.

[Andre]: I should just rip the bandaid off and I need you BOTH to listen to me. Dad has been lying for years and he was the reason I had to leave and disappear the way that I did. The reason why I started to reach out was because I didn't want to keep you in the dark anymore

[Andre]: The reason I left was becasue I was looking for our mom.

[Luna/Malcolm]: What?!

[Andre]: I found out she wasn’t dead after I graduated from high school. Dad lied and when I tried to talk to him about it he told me to drop it and never bring it up again

[Luna]: You want us to believe that...that woman is alive and well and what? Dad the reason she ran away?

[Andre]: That’s what I’d been trying to find out. I kept asking Dad about her and he kept shutting me down. I finally found out where she moved to but I didn’t realize Dad had someone watching my every move.

[Luna]: What did he do?

[Andre]: I didn’t realize Dad would do anything to keep her hidden. When I went to her home she was gone. The apartment was wiped and Dad was sitting there in the living room. He told me if I kept going down this path he would disown me. I told him he can’t hide her forever

[Luna]: But...why would he do that...I don’t understand

[Andre]: Their relationship wasn’t the best and I believe she was the one who ran away. I was finally able to find her again

[Luna]: You did?!

[Malcolm] Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. What the fuck are you even saying right now...The woman who gave birth to us is alive? Are you hearing yourself?

[Andre]: I know it's hard to believe I’m not asking you for your trust but I just wanted you both to know she didn’t leave because she was tired of us or not interested in being our mom...

[Malcolm]: Is anyone in our family capable of actually being responsible and not abandoning their family? Is this fucking genetics?!

[Andre]: It’s not that simple Malcolm. Of course, she didn’t want to just get up and leave but she had to. Living with Dad was a nightmare...

[Luna]: We lived with Dad too. It's like no one is thinking about me or Malcolm at all. Do you think it was easy living with Dad? How come you get and that...lady get to leave but we were stuck with Dad?!

[Malcolm]: Excuses! thats all I'm fucking hearing. Excuses!

[Malcolm]: You don’t get to sit there and spin this sob story about that woman and think we are just gonna accept leaving us as some sort of self-sacrifice you're making it out to be. At the end of the day you BOTH left and I don’t CARE why you're deciding to reach out now but you can fuck right off. Luna, You heard it we had a mom she left and Andre followed right after nothing else to know. Lets fucking go

[Luna]: That wasn’t what I was expecting but I agree with Malcolm. I...have some resentment for the woman who could leave her children with a man she didn’t feel safe with. You know where she is and I’m guessing you told her about us?

[Andre]: Of course but shes not ready yet to expose herself. The moment she tries to reach out Dad is gonna know where she is and shes...not prepared for that yet

[Luna]: I came here for you. I just wanted to rebuild a relationship with you Andre, not that woman. Let me be honest I don’t think I would want one either.

[Andre]: There is a lot I can’t say because its not my place to say it...but she does love you guys and she misses you everyday.

[Luna]: Unfortunately, I can’t say the same but I need to sit with this and make sure Malcolm doesn’t explode. We won’t be in the city until the new year so...just keep me updated okay?

Some random facts I have for him

1) he's dyslexic so school is extremely hard for him. That's why he gravitates towards being an actor so much. His parents definitely give him the resources he needs to succeed but he still feels different in school. With acting he can learn his lines before going to set and for things he can't remember he ad libs lines based on the vibe of his characters. He doesn't feel as limited when acting compared to being in school

2) his favorite sibling is Veronica. He tells her how he really feels about his classmates, how annoying it can be when students shove love notes and chocolates into his arms then running away. How some students always try to touch him or hold onto his arm during class breaks. Veronica gives him tips and tricks on how to avoid them without being mean

3) He fucking LOVES Vaghun that's his Big Bro!!! They play COD almost every night and share pics of shoes they buy. Even AFTER Vaghun and Veronica broke up he still messages him like nothing happened 😂 even AFTER Veronica asked him not to talk to Vaghun, Xavier said fuck all that and still messaged him throughout the entire summer (on the lows)

4) He likes boys and girls. He's only told a few people like his siblings and Vaghun. Hasnt told his friends yet and the only reason why is because he knows Izan and Carter have a major crush on Wayne and he thinks it's funny if he presents himself as a potential threat. Cuz what are they gonna do? Beat him up? Wayne would never talk to them again lol.

5) Likes to ask his dad constantly if he's black why is he so pale? Where did all the melanin go? Did he steal Sam melanin too? (This is his dad for reference lolololol)

Some random facts about Gideon I think are kinda cool (maybe a little dark? kinda? not really? you decide)

Gideon has killed people while working under Daisuke. It's a messy business trying to legitimize a company. Grayson is only aware of one person (Aliai)

If Grayson had gone to Sulani with Su, Gideon was 110% going to go over there and drown Su in the ocean and drag Grayson back home (had it all planned out but a lot of friends on twitter really liked Su so he survived another day)

Gideon sent his grandparents to the rural part of tormorang. I'm talking no running water, no electricity, no plumbing. I mean if they happen to pass away because they can adjust that can't possibly be his fault. Right? Right.

He helped his mom get a divorce from his dad and made sure she got half of everything and a FAT alimony cheque every month for emotional distress.

He tore down his old home in Windenburg so it's an empty lot. He'd like to rebuild a home there for Grayson so they can settle down and have their own little family
