Exit Stage Right | R.L
You and your daughter miss Remus while he's performing for a stadium of fans, so much that you have to see him before the concert is over â dad!rockstar!remus x mom!reader fluff
warnings: a little angsty if you squint rlly hard, but nothing else
words: 2.4k
a/n: I promised rockstar!remus a while ago, but I've been to 2 concerts in the last 2 weeks, which just so happens to be finals season, so I've been simultaneously busy as hell and itching to write this. I hope you like how it turned out!
Your daughter Olive was no stranger to loud noises.Â
Remus had a room to practise drumming in your house, itâs normal to encounter a chaotic mess of fans and paparazzi when you left the house as a family, and she just about had the loudest uncles in the world. Though you tried to limit the amount of noise she took in, Oliveâs little ears had definitely adapted to her hectic little life.Â
But all that noise in her daily life was no match for a rock concert in a sold-out stadium. Those decibel levels would for sure be far too high for her little ears to handle.
It wasnât as easy of a decision on what you should do with her tonight, though. You were getting cabin fever with all the identical hotel rooms youâve been living in while The Marauders were on their tour, and you suspected Olive was in the same boat.Â
So, you decided to go back to the old days when the band first started going on long tours, when you would stay in the dressing room for the length of the performance. You and Remus figured it would be soundproof enough backstage, but you still insisted on pulling out the baby headphones you had bought just in case before she was even born. You were only planning on using them if it got especially loud backstage, yet you tried them on anyway.Â
They were massive on her, but they kept her safe and happy. Plus, she was pretty damn adorable with them onânot that she wasnât all the time, but definitely cuter than normal with those giant headphones.Â
Waiting for the show to start, Remus bounced Olive on his lap while you watched the rest of the guys run through their current individual pre-show rituals.Â
It had been quite a while since youâve been backstage with the band right before a show, and you honestly forgot how entertaining it was.Â
James was trying to solve the same Rubikâs cube heâs been working on for years to warm up his fingers, Peter was doing the daily crossword in the local newspaper, and Sirius was trying to multitask by doing his vocal warmups and his makeup at the same time.Â
It was really a terrible combination of tasks, as Sirius kept on messing up his eyeliner and then trying to suppress his favourite swear words for your daughterâs sake.Â
You wanted to tell him off, but it was really too fun to watch for you to intervene.
A minute or so after Sirius finally finished his look, the boysâ manager knocked on the dressing room door and reminded them that they have to go on stage soon.Â
Remus thanked him, and the guys all started getting ready to go. He kept Olive in his arms for as long as he could, until it was just the three of you in the room after everyone was already headed to the stage.Â
When he finally had to let her go, Remus made sure he gave you both a proper goodbye.Â
âIâll be back soon. Just over 2 hours, then we can all go home.â He kissed you softly, but deeply. He always does this as a way of saying goodbye, kissing you like he might never do it again, but he doesnât want you to think about it.Â
When his lips left yours and he slouched down to blow a raspberry on Oliveâs tummy, you sighed quietly. âA hotel, not home.âÂ
He looked at you sympathetically as he collected his drumsticks from the table beside you and stored them in his back pocket for the time being.Â
âIsnât home anywhere where weâre all together?â He said, trying to lift your spirits. âBut weâll be home home soon enough. And I wonât be on tour again for a while, and we can be all together as much as we want.â
That did make you feel better. Even though you loved that Remus was living his dream with his best friends and giving you and Olive a great life, it did get stressful from time to time.Â
Privacy violations by paparazzi and media outlets, insecurity that sometimes got the best of you on both sides of the relationship, and of course, The Marauders going on world tours that were fun, but still somewhat torture. They made it so you had to choose between leaving home for months, or being away from Remusânot that there was any difference between those two.Â
You didnât want to get emotional right when Remus had to go perform, so you smiled and reminded him that it was time for you to part ways for the evening.Â
âTheyâre waiting for you out there.âÂ
A grin graced your husbandâs face. âThey can wait a little longer.âÂ
âThey paid to see you.â You reminded him.Â
âAnd I'll personally refund all of them if I don't go out.âÂ
âThen we'll be out of money, and we'll both have to get new jobs and we'll never have any time with just the three of us.â
Remus pretended to think over your point for a second. âYouâre right. I guess I have to go out and perform, then.â
âPut on a good show, honey. We'll see you soon.âÂ
While saying goodbye to him, you raised Oliveâs arm so you could wave at Remus for her as he walked out of the dressing room. Her face was already forming a pout when she watched her dad leave to go do his job, but you wouldnât let that morph into anything more.Â
You turned her around so you could both look at each other, then you pressed a kiss to her chubby cheek.
âNone of that, sweetheart. Weâll see him again in no time.âÂ
Laying her down beside you on the couch, you reach down into the baby bag you never go anywhere without and pick out some of her favourite toys from their specific pocket; hopefully those will keep her distracted and happy.Â
âââââ
The toys didnât work as well as you thought they would. They kept Olive busy for about an hour, but she seemed to snap out of her happy baby daze out of nowhere.Â
She started crying and nothing was working to calm her down. She wasnât hungry, she didnât need to be changed, and nothing you had brought for this very reason was working.Â
You knew the only thing that could quell her upset was outside and on the stage, playing drums for a stadium of fans. But even though she and Remus both wished they could spend all hours of the day together, you just didnât know how that could work. Â
And then you remembered the headphones.Â
The sound backstage hadnât been that loud at all while The Marauders were playing, so you honestly hadnât thought about them since you and Remus packed them before you left the hotel.Â
But this could work. You could use them to help both you and Olive right now. So thatâs what you did.
You dug through your bag and pulled the noise-cancelling headphones from the bottom of the bag, where they had sat untouched for the longest time. After picking them up with a tiny âahaâ, you smiled at your daughter and told her that she would soon be seeing her dad.Â
She had calmed down somewhat due to the mere mention of Remus, but she was still wailing in your arms. You bounced her lightly while you walked down the halls of the stadium.Â
âItâs okay, honey.â You cooed at Olive, despite the fact that she couldnât hear a thing. âYouâre gonna tire yourself out and fall asleep before you even get to see Daddy. We donât want that, do we?â
Although, maybe her crying herself to sleep wouldnât be so bad.Â
It still wasnât an option in your mind. Your daughter wanted to see her dad, so over to Remus youâll go.Â
Once you got to the stage door, a burly security guard gave you a questioning look. You supposed he wasnât used to a woman and a baby wanting to go into the wings during a rock concert. But he was just there to do his job, not judge, so he let you through when you showed him your ID.Â
You kept checking Oliveâs face to see her expressions and gauge if everything was too loud for her. Her look didnât deviate from the bothered expression her face took on when you started walking with her, so you assumed the headphones were cancelling out the noise, just as they were made for.Â
Nobody who was working backstage seemed to mind you being there, so you found an extra stool in a dark corner and pulled it so you could sit and watch the band.Â
Based just on how Olive was moving in your arms, you knew she had spotted her dad behind the cymbals he was smashing across the stage. Pointing towards Remus, you whispered to her again even though she couldnât hear you. âLook! Whoâs that? Whoâs over there?â
She seemed to be cheered up enough just from seeing Remus, so your hypothesis was proven correct. Things were shaping up to be a good night.Â
You swayed and headbangedâas lightly as possibleâsince just because Olive couldnât enjoy the loud music doesnât mean you had to ignore it too.Â
The current song ended, and James was talking to the crowd while Sirius drank some much-needed water after all that singing. While taking a swig, the two familiar faces in the wings of the stage caught his eye, and he just had to share what he was seeing with the drummer.Â
He practically skipped over to Remus, who was also catching his breath from performing and pointed you out. Your husbandâs eyes scanned the area until he found you, and his face immediately broke out into a smileâand so did your daughterâs.Â
Back in the dressing room, you were hesitant if you should leave at all or if you should just wait out Oliveâs tantrum, but the matching looks on your husband and daughterâs faces right now was proof that you made the right decision.Â
Olive made grabby hands towards her dad across the stage, and Remus waved right back and blew a kiss in your direction. You werenât quite sure if it was aimed at you or your little girl, but it made you blush either way.Â
He pointed to the setlist taped to the ground beside him and hid his hand behind his bass drum so the audience wouldnât see his gesture; he held up three fingers to let you know there would be three more songs until he could get up and give you two his full attention. You knew they would most definitely be doing an encore after they finished, but at least they could all have a small break after the main show. Â
You nodded to show him you understood, but his attention was already grabbed back by James giving him the sign that it was time to get back into the music. Not even taking more than a second to prepare, Remus was back in the groove and started playing the next song on the list, effortlessly and perfectly.Â
The last few songs of the main set were some of your favourites from the bandâs discography, but you had to admit that you couldnât enjoy them as much as you usually would.Â
It was mainly because you were somewhat scared of an impending mood swing out of your daughter now that her fatherâs attention had left her, but also because these three songs were standing in between you and your husband like a brick wall right now. You just had to remind yourself that once they hit that last note and said their goodbyes to the crowd, that wall would be temporarily smashed once more.Â
But now, they were at the end of the concert. The crowd was cheering like they just had the best night of their livesâyou donât doubt that they didâand Remus was throwing his sticks into the sea of hands desperate for a morsel of The Marauders.Â
His rockstar persona was dropped the second those drumsticks left his hands, and he was rushing to the wings to be with you and Olive, a wide smile strung across his cheeks.
He pulled you two out into the hall so the crowdâs noise could be in the background. He knew they would be cheering for an encore in a minute; as much as he loved that sound, he would rather hear you.Â
âShe was getting pretty fussy and I knew you were the only thing that would calm her down.â You explained to Remus before he could even ask.Â
You were afraid he would be upset with you bringing her outside of the dressing room, but he didnât seem fazed at all. He gently took Olive from your arms and cooed over her.Â
âYou missed me so much you dragged your mum out here so you could see me, huh?â Remus asked her. âYou know I missed you too, princess. Both of you.â
âYeah? Maybe you should get the guys to shorten the setlist so you arenât away from us for too long, then.â
He didnât respond, but you know that he had brought up the idea of shorter tours to the others now that he and James were both fathers.Â
You watched lovingly as Remus kept moving Oliveâs hand away from the glitter on his face that she was so desirous to touch. You wished you all could stay in this moment forever, but the audienceâs chants for an encore were getting louder and louder and you knew the scene in front of you couldnât last much longer.Â
Right on schedule, James strutted up and tapped Remus on the shoulder with a brand new pair of drumsticks.Â
âWeâve gotta go back out there, mate. Time to part ways with your girls once again.â
Remus wouldnât put up a fight. He handed Olive back to you and blew one more kiss at you two as a goodbye.
The doors opened and a cacophony of fan cheers hit your ears. It was a lot, but it just reminded you that all those people were waiting for your husband, so you could wait a few more minutes.Â
Just two final songs, then you could all go home.

Dad!Remus x Mom!Reader đ 548 words
⥠~ ⥠~ ⥠~ ⥠~ âĄ
You woke up on a lazy Saturday morning to the soft sound of little footsteps padding down the hall. Your daughter was trying her best to be quiet, but at six, she still had a hard time controlling her volume. Before you could even open your eyes, you could feel your daughter approaching, shaking your arm gently. Your eyes fluttered open, and you smiled softly at her.
âGood morning, darling girl,â you whispered, brushing her sandy blonde curls away from her face. She was the mirror image of Remus already, her long nose and warm eyes tugging at your heartstrings. Her face was still flushed from sleep, and her hair was a tangled mess.
âMummy,â she whispered back, her breath warm on your face. âI wanna snuggle Daddy.â
You reached your arms out, and she tugged on the blanket as you helped her climb into the bed without hesitation. She crawled over you and towards Remus, who was already stirring beside you as she rested her head on his chest as she settled into his arms.
Remus let out a soft, sleepy laugh, his arms automatically coming up to curl around her small frame. âIs that right?â Your husband murmured, his voice thick with sleep but full of affection. He brought his hand up to cup her face fondly, his thumb gently tracing the sleep lines on her cheek. âI think I can manage that.â
She giggled quietly, pressing herself into him firmly, her small hands grasping at the fabric of his sleep shirt. âI had a dream, and when I woke up, I just wanted to be with you, Daddy,â her little voice full of sincerity. âI like snuggling you the best.â
You watched as Remusâs face softened, a look of pure love settling in his eyes. His hands rested on her back, continuing his gentle circles as he pulled her even closer to him. âWell, youâre always welcome to snuggle with me, lamb,â he whispered, pressing a kiss to the crown of her head. âAnytime you want.â
Your daughter smiled sleepily, and you could see her beginning to slip back into a gentle slumber. âYouâre the best, Daddy,â she mumbled, her voice growing softer as her eyes closed. âI love you.â
âI love you, too,â Remus said tenderly, pressing another soft kiss to her forehead. The way he held her, and the way his actions conveyed his love for her, made your heart swell. He looked at her with so much adoration, as though she was his whole world. And in that moment, you knew she was.
âSheâs growing up so fast,â he whispered, as though the thought had suddenly struck him.
You nodded, and you felt your voice catch slightly. âToo fast.â
For a few blissful minutes, everything was still- the three of you wrapped together in the quiet comfort of the morning, and everything else in your lives suddenly became irrelevant. Your husband shifted slightly, moving to hold both of you close, his warmth a steady presence in your cocoon of blankets. He leaned over to press a kiss to your temple, his eyelashes tickling your forehead.
âMy lovely girls,â Remus said, his voice so quiet that it felt like you were intruding on his own thoughts. âWeâre so lucky.â
You couldnât agree more.

Dirty Laundry and Brown Sugar Oats
Pairing: Sirius Black x SAHM! Reader (stay at home mom)
Summary: Youâve had a very busy weekend
Word count: 1.5K
Warning: skipping meals
This weekend had been one from hell. Filled with celebratory moments, but from hell none the less. It started on Friday morning with the primary schoolsâ spring production. Claireâs class was participating with a little dance routine. Lots of classroom mothers were signing up to assist with corralling the children throughout the day and your youngest daughter had begged you too as well. In her own words âall you do is stay home anywayâ.
You werenât sure what to do with Emmerson at first but Lily had offered to watch him for a few hours, claiming it a perfect opportunity for he and Harry to have a play date. You were extremely grateful. He wouldnât cause her any trouble. The only person he fussed with was you.
From eight in the morning to five in the evening you were swimming in kindergarteners. Bathroom trains, fixing hair, changing into costumes, breaking up arguments, forcing a quick nap time, practice, and then comforting the snifflers once the performance actually started. The ones that attempted to leap from the stage in a wash of tears, grabby hands extended.
Then Amelia had her spelling bee on Saturday morning. As soon as you'd gotten back with Claire, cleaned her up and made dinner you were off to test Lia on her words. She wouldnât allow you to stop until she was free of mistakes and hesitance. She didnât win, but she was abundantly proud of herself for giving it a shot. As were you and Sirius.
Emmy had his doctorâs appointment that same afternoon for some blood testing. He'd been falling ill a lot recently and you thought it couldn't hurt to do a full check up to see if everything was alright. A fresh scratch now pulsed under your eye as evidence of his struggle. And then from there you had to rush to get Lia to her soccer practice, take Claire to ballet and run a few errands around town. You'd spent that night tailoring some of Sirius formal shirts for a few meetings he had coming up in the week.
Sunday morning Remus as well as Lily, James and Harry came over for breakfast. Youâd gone all out in preparation. The downside being once you were done you had no interest in the spread of food youâd prepared.
Now it was Sunday evening, the sun only just beginning to dip below the horizon. Youâd just managed to get Emmy fed and settled to watch a few minutes of Tv. Lia is at the counter finishing up some homework and Claire is crowding you. Swerving around your legs, just as high as sheâd been all weekend on excitement. Every second of every day from the moment she opened her eyes to the moment she closed them it was just demands that you stop whatever you were doing to watch her. For her to perform the same sequence of moves youâd watched her do on stage as if you hadnât been paying attention then. And again, the other thousands of times she'd done it since.
She bumps herself into your legs from behind sending you stumbling.
âMom you arenât watching!â
The laundry basket in your hand tips, bulging with the dirty clothes youâd been putting off washing. A jumble of socks falls from it to the tiled floor. It takes everything in you not to snap, instead closing your eyes for a beat, breathing in and out before bending to reach for them. When youâre suddenly hit with the feeling of the ground shifting. Your vision blurs and your heart gives a painful stutter. An overwhelming ringing pingpongs between your ears and your mind grates to a halt. Where were you? What had you been doing a second ago?
Small hands press into your back. Youâve sat on the ground. The plastic of the basket still slippery in your hold where it rests atop your extended legs. You feel hot. Your stomach is cramping.
A shadow falls across you from above. You force your wavering gaze up to meet Liaâs face leaned over the countertop, frowning and squinting at you. âMom?â
Claire screams, much too close your ears, her fist pounding into your spine. âYou have to watch me! Look! Look!â
âClaire, stop it!â Lia scolds. She hops down from the stool and comes around to stand in front of you. You stare straight ahead at her blue sleep shorts before she squats down to grab at your face.
âMommy?â
The haze over your mind begins to clear when she squishes at your cheeks gently âIâm fine sweets.â Resting the basket to the side you cover her hands with your own, struggling to swallow around your dry mouth âJust lost my balance thereâ
Claire mashes her chin into your shoulder, pressing her own cheek against both of your hands âYouâre so clumsy sometimes.â
Liaâs still frowning; her eyes a little glassy. She watches you for another beat before bolting upright âIâm going to get dad.â
You pull her back to you in a panic âNo! Lia Iâm fine.â
Sirius was outside doing some yardwork. Things youâd been asking him to get to for months now. Thatâs where heâd spent most of his weekend and it made you feel like a bit of a nag. You donât want to bother him anymore. Especially not for something so minor.
Lia jerks her hand from yours, sprinting for the front door shouting for Sirius.
In the meantime, you shift yourself slowly to rest your back against the cabinets. The effort of it has you breaking a small sweat. Your hands shake as you set the laundry aside.
âAre you sick?â Claire asks, collecting the dropped socks and plopping them into the basket. She presses her hand to your forehead checking for warmth.
âNo Clair bear.â But she wonât take that as an answer of course so before she can scuttle off in search of the thermometer you redirect her attention. âDo you think Emmy would like to watch your performance?â
Her eyes light up âYouâre right! I havenât shown him yet.â She leaves you behind, completely forgotten, in search of your youngest. Seated on his playmat in the living room and occupied by the puppets moving across the television screen.
Time seems to jump between a long blink to rest your eyes and reopening them to find Sirius kneeled in front of you. Hair tied up atop his head, collar of his shirt dark and dampened. A smudge of dirt slashes across his cheek. A calm smile spreading his lips. âAre you cozy down here love?â
You roll your eyes at him. âYou smell sweaty.â
âLia, can you get mom a glass of water please?â You hadnât even noticed her hanging back in the archway, standing so still and quiet with her hands clasped together. She goes without a word.
âDo you feel dizzy?â
âI canât get up.â Youâd plummet right back down to the ground if you tried.
Lia returns with your water. Sirius takes it from her with a small thank you before cupping your chin. With nimble fingers he tilts your head back slightly, pressing the chilled glass to your cracked lips. âDrink, slowlyâ He waits for you to down half the glass before setting it aside, watching you intently.
âWhat did you guys have for lunch? Maybe it didnât agree with you.â
âWe had peanut butter and jelly. Mom didnât eat any though.â Lia answersÂ
âAnd you didnât have any breakfast this morning my love. Did you eat at all today?â
In fact, you couldnât remember the last time something of substance passed your lips, food or drink. When your days edged more on the hectic side, youâd sometimes forget they were necessities. A horrible habit you never managed to break.
Sirius reads this in your expression. He frowns disapprovingly at you. âWhen was the last time you ate something? Not random scraps, a whole mealâ
âBreakfast Friday morningâ and even that had only been a slice of buttered toast. You were running solely on the clementine youâd swiped from one of Claires classmates, a handful of nuts, and a half cup of tea somewhere else in there. Â Â
âIs she going to be alright?â Lia has sat herself beside you, picking at her fingers anxiously as her eyes rack your body from head to toe. You feel a tinge of shame run through you then. To cause her such worry with your bad habits.
Sirius removes one of the rings from his finger and slides it onto one of hers. Itâs far too big but it provides a nice distraction as she spins it absentmindedly around the digit. âMom hasnât been nourishing her body properly but sheâll be right as rain once we get some food into her.â
âAre you ready to get up?â he asks you. Â
âNoâ you answer honestly. The room is still spinning.
Smiling reassuringly, he instead makes whispered conversation with Lia, asking what they should feed you. âSomething light to not upset her stomachâ
âThat special ginger tea she gave me when i was sick last week.âÂ
âWhat else?â
âBrown sugar oats?â She glances at you for approval âYou love oats. With some honey on top?â
âDelicious. Why donât you go fill the kettle while I help mom to the table.âÂ
Once sheâs gone Sirius turns back to you. He runs his hands up and down your bare legs, refusing to meet your gaze now. âTrying to give me a heart attack, are you?â he grumbles âLia came outside frantic and I was sure the worst had happenedâ he pinches you on the thigh. Not particularly hard but enough to convey his upset. Â
âOwâ
He soothes it with a kiss âYou have to stop skipping meals like that. You have to stay strong and healthy so we can be together until weâre old and gray and Claire ships us off to a retirement home.âÂ
A laugh startles out of you âLia would definitely let me live with her. Emmy might be kind enough to house you.â
The laughter dies, a cloud of seriousness rolling in to dampen it.
âPromise meâ He must really be fed up with you.
âIâve been working on it. Time just slipped through my hands this weekend.â
âPromise meâ he pushes again.
You sigh, feigning annoyance at the dramatics you so enjoy when he forcibly links your pinky fingers together âI promise.â
âGreat!â Itâs slow going, but he gets you up off the floor and to the counter âLia how about we cut up some fruit to go with that?â Â

The second one is for Harry. I donât have a plot for him tbh. Anything worksâŚmaybe something like James and lily are still alive and the reader is Siriusâ and Remusâ daughter (if youâre comfortable with that else sheâs just Siriusâs daughter) and that her and Harry have feelings for each other but they make sure that their parents donât know about this because they think they wonât approve but secretly Sirius and James have made a bet even before they were born that theyâd end up dating.
Gonna sign off as - đ
harry potter x black-lupin!reader where you both decide to come clean about your relationship only to realise the bets that were going on before you were even born
The morning started off innocently enough. You and Harry decided, with great trepidation and a little bit of sweaty-palmed hand-holding, that it was time to come clean to your parents. Youâd spent months sneaking around, dodging suspicious looks and sharing whispered secrets under that big oak tree in the Potter backyard. But enough was enough. Today was the day.
At breakfast, you sit on one side of the table, gripping Harryâs hand under it like a lifeline. Across from you, James is mid-story, waving his coffee cup wildly, nearly splashing Sirius, whoâs cackling in support. Remus stands by the stove flipping pancakes, while Lily is engrossed in her tea. Itâs almost too peaceful. Almost.
You exchange a look with Harry, both of you gulping in unison. Here goes nothing.
You clear your throat, trying to sound calm and confident but ending up squeaking, âWe have something to tell you.â
Every head swivels toward you. Four pairs of eyes lock on, and itâs like theyâve turned into your jury.
Siriusâs brows lift, eyes flicking to your joined hands, a smirk already forming. âOh, this is going to be good.â
James takes a leisurely sip of his coffee, not even trying to hide his amusement. âGo on then, letâs hear it.â
âUh⌠well, Harry and IâŚâ You glance at him, wide-eyed. âWeâre together. Dating. You know, in a relationship.â
Silence. Deafening, horrible silence. You brace yourself for the absolute chaos about to ensueâa dramatic gasp from Sirius, a whole speech from Remus, something. But insteadâŚ
âOh, finally,â Remus sighs, flipping another pancake like heâs completely unfazed.
âPay up, Padfoot.â James holds out a hand to Sirius with a smirk that could only mean one thing: they knew.
âAre youâare you betting on us?â Harry sputters, his face turning beet red.
Sirius lets out a long, overly dramatic sigh as he fishes out a handful of Galleons and plunks them into Jamesâs waiting hand. âYep. And I had my money on last Christmas, but nooo, you two had to make it as painful and drawn-out as possible.â
James shrugs, looking positively delighted. âI told him you two would take forever. I mean, youâre related to Sirius, for Merlinâs sake.â
âOh, come on!â you snap, indignant. âYou didnât even wait for us to tell you?â
Sirius leans forward, smirking like heâs the worldâs wisest sage. âKid, you were about as subtle as a hippogriff in a teashop. âOh, dad, weâre just going out to âstudy.âââ He air-quotes aggressively. âOr, âOh, daddy, itâs so peaceful under the oak tree.ââ
âDo you know how many times I nearly hexed you?â Remus says, shaking his head, clearly unimpressed. âOnce or twice wouldâve been fine, but the âstudy datesâ? Please.â
Harryâs face falls into his hands, groaning. âSo you⌠knew? This entire time?â
James snorts, leaning back with the air of someone who has been utterly vindicated. âSon, Iâve known since you looked at her like sheâd personally invented Quidditch.â He raises a smug eyebrow at Lily. âWhich, by the way, was second year.â
Lily laughs softly. âSecond year, James? Donât you think thatâs a bit much?â
âOh, not at all,â James replies with a flirty expression. âIâd know that look anywhereâitâs exactly how I used to look at you.â
You and Harry exchange an exasperated look. âSo⌠none of you are upset?â you ask, bewildered.
Remus grins, nudging you both toward the table. âNot at all. In fact, this is excellent news because now I can finally use your time together as leverage for chores.â
Lily laughs, patting your shoulder with a wink. âHonestly, we were all just waiting to see how long youâd last before one of you cracked.â
Sirius, meanwhile, is dramatically clutching his chest. âI was holding out for the Christmas confession! So many prime opportunities wasted! I could have retired on those winnings!â
âOh, get over it,â James says with a slap on his back. âWe all saw it coming from a kilometer away.â

What would we think about a barista!remus fic x parent!sirius and reader??
Like they both come into the store on spectate days and at first remus starts to just develop a simple crush on them from afar, but then they start coming in more frequently, and on soerwte days each of them come in with the same baby, and he relapses that the two people he'd been crushing on were together this whole time? Yet they'd both been rather flirty with him?

Hi, I absolutely love your writing and iâd thought iâd try to request a remus lupin x reader kinda hurt comfort fic or blurb? Reader comes from a dysfunctional family where her dads alway angry and she feels like sheâs walking on egg shells when around him and her mom throws all responsibilities like taking care of younger sibling onto reader so they always feel like they arenât doing enough and they kind of cary these traits into their relationship with remus? maybe remus comes home from a hard day at work and reader can immediately sense heâs in a bad mood and like gets really quiet and starts working on the house instead of spending time with him bc she thinks he will be mad or something
This was way longer than i intended it to be im sorryđ and I totally understand if this was too much or a topic that you donât wanna write about there is no pressure at all!!!
love ya! -anon
Thanks for requesting lovely!

Remus Lupin x fem!reader ⥠849 words
If the sharp turn of his key in the lock didnât tip you off to Remusâ mood, the way he shuts the door behind him would. Automatically, your mind starts whirring with the things you can do.Â
Your boyfriend has barely taken his shoes off before youâre in the kitchen, unloading the overfull dish rack. Youâve no idea how you let it go this long; some of these things have been dry for days. Youâre shutting drawers and cabinets as softly as you can, wary of worsening Remusâ irritation with a racket.Â
âHey.â He pads into the kitchen, reaching for you.Â
âHi.â You smile and give him a kiss. His hands start to come around your waist, but you pull away in favor of grabbing a pot from the rack.Â
âWhatâre you up to?â he asks. The exhaustion in his voice has a terse edge that makes your fingertips crackle with nervous energy.Â
âJust tidying a bit.âÂ
âWant some help?âÂ
âIâm good, thanks,â you reply in your most serene voice. âYouâve only just got home, why donât you relax?âÂ
Remus hesitates a handful of moments, watching as you go back to whizzing about the kitchen before wordlessly retreating to the living room.Â
Once the dish rack is empty, you decide to start filling it up again. Thereâs an unwashed pot on the stove, an old container of leftovers in the fridge, and a handful of dishes on the coffee table. You make yourself as scarce as you can when you go to retrieve the last. Remus is still emanating traces of a worn-thin temper from where he sits on the couch, reading his book, and you try to minimize the clatter of the dishes as you stack them. When thereâs a sigh, you try even harder.Â
âWould you stop for a second?âÂ
You freeze in your tracks. âStop what?âÂ
âJust,â he shakes his head, frustrated, âput the dishes down.â
You obey wordlessly.Â
Remus looks at you with something you canât decipher in his expression. Now would you come here, please?âÂ
You walk over to him, tensing forâyou donât know what. You donât think Remus would hit you, and he doesnât seem like heâs going to shout. Youâre stiff with anticipation nonetheless.Â
He reaches for you. You wrap your arms around his shoulders, slotting against him naturally, the way you always do. Remus presses both palms into your back, hugging you tighter than usual but not enough to hurt.Â
He nuzzles his face into your neck. âWhatâs going on with you?â he asks, and he sounds like the soft, grumbly version of himself that tells you to stop fidgeting at 4 a.m. before trapping you in his hold. You start to relax.Â
âYou seem like youâve had a hard day,â you say. Not quite an admittance, but close.Â
âI have,â Remus agrees. âI was hoping to come home and relax with you. Maybe have a kiss if you were feeling generous.â His teasing comforts you further, and you donât flinch when he adjusts his hold so he can look you in the eyes. âAre you being weird because you know Iâm in a bad mood?âÂ
When he puts it like that it sounds so silly. This is how youâve learned to be around hot tempers, quiet and useful, but of course Remus would want someone to console him. To be with him instead of hiding away.Â
âIâm sorry,â you breathe out. Your hands smooth over his shoulders, a belated comfort.Â
He sighs, and this time when you hear the frustration in the sound you know itâs not meant for you. Remus takes your face in both hands, pressing a firm kiss to your brow before resting his own against it.Â
âNobodyâs angry with you,â he says softly.Â
âI know,â you reply just as quietly. âIf I think about it, I know you wouldnât be. Itâs justâŚâÂ
âOld habits die hard?â he guesses. Thereâs a wry twist to his tone.Â
You hum apologetically.Â
Remus lets his cheek slide along yours, pulling you in for another hug. This one is gentler, his hand running the length of your back and squeezing in all the right places. âItâs okay,â he reassures you. âIâm sorry I came home so cross, sweetheart. I never want to worry you.âÂ
âI like to worry about you a little,â you tease, and you can sense the reward of your boyfriendâs smile spreading unwillingly over your shoulder. âAnd itâs not fair to expect you not to have any bad feelings around me. Thatâs just normal.â
Remus hums thoughtfully. âWhat if we try this: when youâre feeling like Iâm upset, you just say something and weâll talk about whether it has anything to do with you. Do you think that would work for you?âÂ
You turn your head to rest your cheek on his shoulder. Remusâ palm cruises down the curve of your spine as you let out a breath. âYeah, I think so. Thanks.âÂ
âThank you, lovely.â He tucks his chin to skim a kiss over your temple. âThis is just what I needed. I feel better already.â

pt remus and medic reader becoming the mum and dad of the hockey team
YES
PT!Remus Lupin x team medic!reader who don't have favourites [681 words]
CW: hockey, NHL players being large sulky babies, PT + medic being tired af of them all (affectionately)
âWhoa whoa whoa, where the fuck do you think youâre going, Fenzy?â You demanded as you stepped into Benjy Fenwickâs way, causing a near domino-esque collision as the guys behind him were forced to come to a stop in their trek down the shoot towards the ice.
âUhmâŚpractice?â Fenwick answered in the form of a question, and Sirius craned his neck to see what the hold up was to see your brows pinch in disbelief.
âFat fuckinâ chance; go sit down.â
âBut doc-âÂ
âFenwick, you have a concussion, I said you were benched.â You pressed as you stepped aside, dragging Fenwick with you by the fabric of his practice jersey to let some of the guys carry on even though he completely towered over you in his skates.
âI thought that meant for games!â Fenwick whined.Â
âItâll mean indefinitely if you donât go get your kit off.â You threatened severely, and Fenwick let out a theatrical groan before he turned and muttered profanities under his breath as he stormed back towards the locker room.Â
âIf youâre playing bad doc today, does that mean Lupinâs playing good doc?â Sirius quipped as he made his way toward you, only to hear Remus - already out on the bench overlooking the players warming up - shouting at Viktor Krum.
âI can see you tensing from here, Krum! So Iâm gonna ask again, and I want the fucking truth: is that hip still bothering you!?â
âIs only sore when go down, Loops!â Krum called back.Â
âWell what good is a goalie going down if he canât get back up again, Krum?âÂ
You let out a sigh as you walked out of the shoot with Sirius to find Remus leaning against the boards like he was about ready to hop them himself as he shouted across the rink, and James who was standing on the ice watching the exchange with a look of morbid fascination.Â
âTheyâre gonna be the death of me, L/N, the death of me.â Remus muttered in disbelief as he kept his gaze locked on his problematic goalie.
âWell I just caught Fenz trying to sneak onto the ice.â You grumbled back as you stepped up onto the bench, Remus finally breaking his gaze to look at you incredulously.
âI thought you said he had a concussion?â
âHe does have a concussion.â
âThat son of a bitch!â Remus nearly shrilled, earning him an almost smile from you.
âKids these days, am I right?â James offered from his place on the ice, leaning heavily against one skate as he rested both gloves on the top of his stick, and his chin on his gloves.Â
âThatâs why weâre mom and dadâs favourite, Potts.â Sirius added with a wink as he skated by and tapped his stick to Jamesâ ass.Â
âYou do those stretches I asked of you, Black, then weâll talk about favourites, yeah?â Remus called out to him, causing Sirius to let out a nervous squeak as he took off quickly down the ice.Â
A couple of drills later, James came and sat heavily on the bench in front of you, taking a few deep breaths and squirting gatorade into his mouth before turning to look at you. âWho is your favourite, doc?â
âI donât have favourites, Potter.â You offered simply as you continued watching the players on the ice.Â
âPlease.â Sirius argued as he climbed over the boards, nearly spilling onto the bench beside James. âEvery mother has favourites.â
âNot when sheâs parenting a bunch of sods.â You grumbled, causing everyone on the bench to let out varying sounds of protest.
âThatâs rude, mom. Youâre rude.â James lamented, earning him a swat up the back of the helmet from Remus.
âDonât speak to your mother that way.â Remus scolded earnestly; his lips quirking only when he heard your snort of laughter from behind him.Â
âI hate when they gang up on us like this.â Sirius murmured to James.
âYou thinking what Iâm thinking?â
âCling-wrapping their office later?â
James held out his fist as he nodded at his friend and teammate. âCling-wrapping their office later.â

Uncle Padfootâs Motorcycle
Pairing: Dad! Remus x Mom! Reader CW: Language and Remus whoâs gonna face the wrath of his wife. Summary: Uncle Sirius takes baby Moony out for a ride on his motorcycle and you aren't happy about it.
Note: Iâve literally enjoyed writing this, and dad! Marauders literally make me hdiskskssjska ALSO THANK YOU FOR 500 FOLLOWERS YOU GUYSđŤ¨đĽš I LOVE YâALL
"Sirius Orion Black and Remus John Lupin!"
Sirius could feel his soul practically leave his body as he saw you, in your ever angry form, march to where he is handing your year old daughter to Remus' awaiting arms.
This is it, this is how Sirius thinks heâs going to leave the face of the Earth.
"Erm, I have to go! See you next week yeah?" Sirius clambers onto his motorcycle, praying to any deity that he would fly faster than you hexing him with your wandless magic.
"Bye pah foo!" Lyra grins, her four teeth in clear display as Sirius looked back and waved, "See you soon, baby moony! Have to go before mummy hexes me to no end!"
Remus watched his friend blankly, deep down wishing he too was in the back of the motorcycle with Lyra so he could escape the imminent wrath his wife that was to rain down on him.
âRemus. John. Lupin.â
Each word you uttered was like a nail on his coffin. He tried his best not to wince as he heard how utterly cold and sharp you spat his name out. So, gathering up his remaining courage, he faced you with a smile- and he definitely didnât place your squealing baby girl in front of him, making her somewhat his shield. He hoped the cuteness of Lyra would soften the blow quite a bit.
âHi, darling! Youâre back early- â
âTell me I did just not see our one-year-old baby land in front of our house riding Siriusâ flying motorcycle or so merlin help me I will strangle you.â You warned, taking Lyra from his hands, who happily snuggled in your arms.
Well, shit.
There goes his only chance of living.
He offered a wry smile, ignoring how sweaty his hands had become. âAlrighty, I wonât tell you- â
âRemus! You seriously thought it was a good idea to let our child ride a flying motorcycle? She just turned a year-old last week for Merlinâs sake!â You scolded, poor Remus. Call him a seer because he can already see himself sleeping on the couch for the entire week, a few days if heâs lucky.
âDarling, Sirius and I made sure it was completely safe.â He tried to explain, âLyra doesnât even have a helmet! What were you guys thinking?!â You hugged your baby closer to your chest.
âWell, Padfoot said itâs unnecessary since theyâre technically flying.â You scoffed in disbelief as you comforted Lyra who started to fuss. âRemind me to make Sirius fall next time I set his eyes on him on that darn vehicle of his.â
Remus could only let out a nervous chuckle. "Erm, I will."
âWhy was Padfoot even here the first place?â You raised an eyebrow, going back inside the house to place Lyra in her playpen as Remus followed you like a servant whoâs trying to regain your favor. âHe also took Harry out for a ride. After that, he went here and told me Lyra should also experience it.â
You turned around and faced him, a hand on your hips. âIâm guessing Lily isnât aware- because there is no way in her right mind that she would let her two-year-old son ride a flying motorcycle.â
His silence was the only thing you needed to hear from him.
âWhere even were you when he took Lyra out for a ride?â
He blinks stupidly, âOutside, watching them.â
âYou better choose your next words carefully Lupin.â
âI was supposed to ride with them, darling! But Sirius already took off when I was about to get onto the motorcycle!â He explains, hoping itâll be enough to save him as he recalled the events from earlier.
âPah foo!â Lyra grinned as she clapped her hands excitedly, her sandy brown hair that was tied in pigtails was swaying with every move she made. Sirius returned her excitement, bypassing Remus who answered the door and made a beeline to the squealing baby.
âThereâs my baby Moony!â He lifts Lyra up from her playpen and peppers her face with kisses while Remus smiled, rolling his eyes playfully. âIâm starting to think youâre just visiting so you can hang out with my daughter, Padfoot.â
Sirius turned to look at him, smiling playfully as Lyra tugged on his curls. âIâm afraid so, Moony.â He then turned his attention to the child. âNow, who wants to go on an adventure with uncle Padfoot?â
Siriusâs eyes twinkled with mischief as he held Lyra aloft, her giggles filling the room. âWeâll soar over the treetops, chase the clouds, and maybe even race a few owls, eh?â He bounced her gently, eliciting more delighted squeals.
Remus watched them, a fond smile on his face, thinking that his best mate wouldnât seriously do it. âJust make sure you keep her within sight, Padfoot. No loops or dives,â he added with a mock sternness that fooled neither Sirius nor Lyra.
Sirius mock saluted. âAye, aye, Captain Moony!â He turned to Lyra, whispering conspiratorially, âYour dadâs just worried weâll have too much fun without him.â
Remus didnât even know how it happened, he just suddenly became aware of the situation when Sirius and Lyra were off, the flying motorcycle roaring to life as they took to the skies, leaving a trail of laughter, the faint smell of engine oil in their wake, and a faint âI fly, dada!â from Lyra.
You sighed, effectively pulling him out of his thoughts. âAt least Lyraâs safe, I know Sirius wouldnât endanger his god daughter.â
You watched as Remusâs eyes softened; the worry lines smoothed out from his forehead. âYes, Lyra is safe, and Sirius might be reckless, but heâs also fiercely protective,â he agreed, his voice carrying a note of gratitude. You hummed in agreement.
Remus tested the waters, âSo⌠I wonât be sleeping in the couch, right?â
You couldnât help but let out a soft chuckle, the tension from earlier dissipating like morning fog in the sunlight. âNo, Remmy, you wonât be sleeping on the couch,â you said, your voice laced with a hint of amusement. âBut letâs agree that any future flights require both parentsâ approval, alright?â
Remus let out a sigh of relief, his shoulders visibly relaxing. âAgreed, and I promise, no more surprises,â he said earnestly, reaching out to take your hand.
Just then, Lyraâs babbling caught your attention, and you both turned to see her playing with a small, plush fox, looking eerily similar to your animagus form that Sirius must have sneaked into her playpen.
âMaybe we canât protect her from everything, but we can make sure she knows sheâs loved and safe,â you mused aloud, watching Lyra.
Remus nodded, his eyes reflecting the same sentiment. âThatâs all we can do,â he agreed. âAnd maybe teach her a few tricks so she can outfly Sirius one day,â he added with a wink.
You glared at him playfully, then laughed, imagining a future where Lyra, with her inherited Marauderâs cunning, would indeed give Sirius a run for his money. âNow thatâs a plan I can get behind,â you said with a smile.
As the night drew on, the house filled with the soft sounds of a family at peace. The dayâs adventures were recounted with laughter and gentle teasing, and plans for a grounded tomorrow were made. And in that moment, all was well in the world of magic and mischief.

Slithering Hearts
Chapter 2
Pairing : Regulus Black x Fem!reader
Synopsis : You begin an unlikely friendship with the little Black. And soon your whole life seems to have become a tumultuous pathway. The catch, James Potter is your brother.
Notes : A ride in Hogwarts express and the awaited House sorting
Masterlist / Series Masterlist
You were showing off your new owl to your mom, Euphemia, who smiled at the owl "He indeed is cute, what have you named it".
"Altair" you had exclaimed when James came running, more like dragging one of his friends.
"Mom, mom, meet him, It's Sirius" James exclaimed pointing at the other guy who stiffly bowed,
"It's nice to meet you Mrs. Potter".
Euphemia smiled pushing him up by his shoulders, "There's no need for such formalities dear". Sirius smiled, relaxing, then he glanced at you and smirked, "You must be the baby potter"
You turned at your brother glaring, "Baby potter", to which he just shrugged.
Turning to Sirius, you extended your hand, "I am Y/N Potter, one year younger, so not a baby".
Sirius chuckled shaking your hand, "If that pleases you".
Euphemia laughed, "Okay now, Sirius why don't you join us, we were gonna go for ice-cream". Sirius looked conflicted, "I would have loved to Mrs.Potter but my mother would kill me if I don't return back". Euphemia nodded, "Later then".
The rest of the shopping went by quick, you had brought many new books, like :-
"A detailed guide to mastering the first year " by Hana Dygh
"The Dark Forces : A Guide to self protection" by Quentin Trimble
with some other light reads. After you two had brought everything required, living and non living, you left the alley with a new member, Altair.
You were packed for Hogwarts, standing at the station you hugged your mom, while your dad was telling James to take care of you, since he was the older brother, which james grudgingly agreed to, earning a light slap on the back of his head. You hugged your dad and told them goodbyes, promising to write to them.
You got on the train with James, who wandered through the cabins before stopping on one where two boys were sitting and talking. One of them was comparatively small, with little eyes, while the other was quite lanky, with was a strange scar running down his neck, he was to first to glance up.
"Hey Mate", they all hugged each other while you stood quite awkwardly at the side, "And this is my sis, Y/N", you shook their hands as they introduced themselves,
"Peter Pettigrew, nice to meet you"
"Remus Lupin, pleasure to meet you"
"Pleasure to meet you too", you said shaking his hand, there seemed to be a wound on his wrist too, it seemed fresh, like an animal's claw, was he attacked, however you didn't stare, instead moved to sit beside James.
The train gate was banged open, huffing wildly, Sirius was standing there grinning, "Hello Guys" he grinned, however behind him you saw the same boy you had seen at the pet shop, he seemed almost embarassred at Sirius's antics, more so as everyone's eye shifted to him.
"This thing here is the new pride of the noble house of Black, Regulus" Sirius announced patting his shoulder.
The boy, Regulus seemed to cower more in itself, glancing tensely, until they landed at you, stopping in recognition. You smiled extending your hand to him, "Y/N Potter". He gently shook it. "Regulus Black"
The train ride was quite tense at first but then, it slowly eased into a more comfortable environment as everyone began talking about their summer, you learned about the various books Remus has read, about Sirius's "evil" as he claimed mothter. However, Regulus sitting infront of you was mostly reserved, so you tried your best to open him up.
"I named my owl Altair, what did you name yours?"
Regulus seemed to be lost in a deep thought, before blurting "Vega"
"That's a nice name"
"Thanks" he uttered the lightest pink dusting his cheeks.
The dusk came soon as the sun dipped into the horizon. The train landed at Hogmeade station, which you looked at wide eyed, it was a beautiful sight, you had heard them talk about it but it was different actually looking at it.
"Open your mouth a bit more and it will fall off" James snickered, leading you to hit him. "Okay, zouwu, first years go by the boat, don't fall in the river"
Sirius snapped his head at you, "Zouwu"
James turned excitedly, "It's a really funny story, on-oomph" James huffed as you hit him again, and fell silent after you threatened him with an embarassing story of his. They all went to the carraiges while you and Regulus joined other 1st years on the boat ride.
The boat you were on consisted of you, Rgulus, a girl named Ismelda and a guy named Barnaby. The dark lake was pitch black, with only the reflection of lights hung on your boats.
Barnaby searched his pockets, "Do you want to see in the black lake, I have someth-" a splash echoed as he slipped into the lake, without thinking you jumped after him, in the icy cold water. Seeing only darkness, you wildly flung your hand until your hand graabbed his leg, holding it you broke the surface, barely able to keep up, you felt two pair of hands wrap around you pulling you and Barnaby up, who coughed and gasped.
Regulus looked at you, "Are you okay?"
Barnaby spluttered, "I'm fine", causing you to snort.
Soon both of you were dry with a swoosh of Professor McGonagoll's wand, who looked at you pointedly, something about potters always present during troubles, and led to the great hall for house sorting. One by one students were called and sorted, leading a cheer from their respective houses. Regulus went before you, sitting apprehensively at the stool.
"SLYTHERIN"
You glanced at Sirius, who visibly slumped, eyes glinting with dissapointment. Regulus looked relaxed but solemn. And soon your name was called, before the hat covered your eyes, you saw James giving you a thumbs-up with a wide grin. Sitting in anticipation, you waited in baited breath, suddenly a voice spoke to you, in your mind,
"Hmm, you seem to have a wandering mind yet its sharp, theres bravery, potential"
Thrn it was a sharp silence, and a loud cheer as your ears rang and you tried to make sure you had heard correctly,
"SLYTHERIN"

SANTA BABY â remus lupin.
SUMMARY. â itâs your second christmas with your baby girl and Remus dresses up as santa.
PAIRING. â dad!remus lupin x mom!reader
WARNINGS. â fluff, some suggestiveness at the end (because im kinda scared to write smut yet)
A/N. â merry christmas to those who celebrate!
âmommy, whereâs dada?â your two and a half year old asks, her small body wrapped around your middle like a koala bear, as you sit in front of the fireplace. itâs 9pm, already past Brielleâs bedtime, but youâre letting her stay up late tonight. itâs christmas eve after all. your friends have left already, the kitchenâs been cleaned and Brielleâs been more than excited to finally get her presents.
âheâs getting more wood for the fire, bug.â the lie slips past your lips flawlessly, your fingers combing through your toddlerâs hair, and the fact that itâs the exact same color and texture as Remusâ still stuns you to this day. the truth is you decided it would be a fun idea for Remus to dress up as Santa Claus and give your baby girl her gifts that way. although the more you think about it now, the more hesitant you are.
Brielle just nods, nuzzling her head into the crook of neck, and you sigh contently. not much time passes before you hear the backdoor bang, the loud stomping getting closer, and Remusâ figure appears in the doorway. for how tall he is, being almost 6â5, heâs too skinny (at least thatâs what you always tell him), so he has to fill out the Santa costume with some pillows for the belly to look big and round. you chuckle when you notice him, nudging Brielle softly.
âho, ho, ho!â Remus exclaims, making his voice intentionally lower and he pats his fake stomach, coming closer. âiâve come to see if there are any good kids here, in this fine house?â
Brielle giggles, her eyes shining brighter when she slides off your lap and skips over to him, tugging at his pant leg. âdaddy silly!â she shrieks sweetly, jumping in place as she waits for Remus to lean down to her level. âup, dada!â
âwell, i donât know where your dad is, kiddo, iâm here to bring you your presents!â he keeps up his act like a professional, the smile on your face widens, and you can see a hint of confusion on your girlâs face.
âhmm⌠i like presents!â Brielle smiles, showing off her teeth, and tries to pull Remus over to the christmas tree. âmama, look! itâs Santa!â
âoh, wow, Brie. no way.â you gasp, chuckling along with your toddlerâs enthusiasm, and you watch the scene unfold.
Brielle and Remus kneel down by the christmas tree and your husband reaches for the velvety santaâs sack, and pulls out a couple of neatly packed boxes. he puts them on display, in a row, in front of your baby girl who excitedly waves her hands. she wastes no time reaching for the first package, eagerly ripping the wrapping paper off and squealing happily at what she sees. itâs a toddler sized broomstick, the exact same as Harryâs just smaller, because sheâs been wanting that ever since she saw him fly around in the summer. with Jamesâ close assistance, if Lily ever asks, because of course a six year old canât fly around on a broomstick on his own.
it doesnât take much time before Brielle starts rubbing her eyes, the events of today catching up to her, and you know you have to step in. you scoop her up in your arms, winking at Remus with a small smile, and as she clings to you, you slowly go upstairs. sheâs started sleeping in her own room just a few months back, when you decided she was big enough to have her bed in the separate room on the other side of the corridor, and she still sometimes sleeps with you. you canât help it, you just love having your baby girl close to you.
this night though, you go straight to her bedroom, swiftly changing her into her red christmasy pajamas. you settle her down in her princess bed, pulling the sheets up to her chin, and you step away, pretty sure sheâs already asleep. youâre almost at the door when you hear a soft voice call out to you.
âmama, goodnight kiss.â Brielle whispers, her eyes remaining closed as she snuggles up to her favorite dog plushie (itâs the one Sirius gave you guys when she was born). you smile, and quickly rush over, leaning in to plant a kiss on her forehead, nose, then both cheeks.
âgoodnight, bug.â you murmur, and leave the room, a yawn escaping your lips as you walk downstairs to find Remus lounging on the couch, still in the Santa costume.
âwell, hello there, Mr. Claus.â you say playfully, slumping down next to him, and your eyes are set on his face, covered mostly by the long fake beard. âi havenât gotten my presents tonight.â your lips pouting as you reach out, putting your hand against his chest.
âthatâs because youâve been a very bad girl this year, dovey.â Remus whispers, his large hands grasping at your hip and with completely zero trouble he swooshes you into his lap, making you straddle him. you rest your arms on his torso, in a way to hold up as well, and you scoff.
âhey! i thought Santa Claus was supposed to be nice ân all.â you mumble, hitting his shoulder as you feel him squeeze his hands on your bum. you raise your eyebrows at him, and as much tired as he seems, you can see the hunger in his eyes.
âthen i guess i have to take this off, cause i donât plan on being nice to you tonight.â his voice is raspy and it makes a shiver run down your spine, and you throw your head back when he puts his lips on your neck.
âno, no, no. the costume stays on.â you grunt, and the laugh that escapes him is so heartful is wrecks his body, so you glance down at him with a serious expression. âoh, iâm not kidding.â
without responding, his hands wander back up, then down, this time deeping into your pants, and with one swift movement he tears your panties apart and off of you. you glare at him, shaking your head, and you shift at the feeling of the slightly itching material of your pants against your bare womanhood.
âi liked those ones-â your complain is cut off by his lips pushing against yours forcefully, his tongue delving into your mouth. after you pull away, a sting of saliva connects your lips to his, and you blink hazily.
âSantaâs gonna buy you new ones.â he breathes out, a smirk appearing on his face before he easily flips you over onto your back, hovering over you. âactually, a lot of new ones.â

Bday plan
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
"James, I swear if you said anything to her I will hang you upside down from the astronomy tower for an entire day." Remus says in a particularly annoyed and contrite tone.
The young werewolf immediately felt guilty for talking that way to his friend, but at the same time he couldn't believe that James had almost screwed up the whole plan he had designed to put on your birthday party. He had been planning everything down to the last detail for a month now, to make sure everything is perfect on your big day, and he couldn't let a chatty deer ruin everything just because he's careless.
He sees pure fear in his friend's eyes after threatening him with one of his greatest fears: height.
"Sorry." Whispers James, as he backs away slowly to make room for his friend, seeing that he is stressed right now. "But I swear she didn't understand anything. It just slipped out that I had to see you to arrange something, and I said it was my gift to her." Potter continues, as he looks at Sirius, who up to this moment had been silent. Immediately his best friend understands the plea for help and nods.
"Yes, she didn't understand anything, we were very good at lying to her." Says the older Black, as Regulus runs a hand over his face, remembering the scene that took place a short time ago in the Great Hall. Indeed James and Sirius had been good at creating a believable excuse, but I young Black knows you better than you think, and he had seen in your eyes the seed of doubt, and he knows that this is not good at all. In your group of friends you are known for having a sixth sense and a spirit of observation so keen that sometimes it seems you can read people's minds and, even, the future. The very moment they've said their shit, Regulus knows that some strange mechanisms have been activated in your mind that have caused you to weigh all possible options, and so he knows they're screwed.
"No, you have to excuse me. I didn't think organizing a birthday was so hard, but at the same time I want everything to be perfect for her, because she deserves it." Remus confesses, as he holds his head in his hands, trying to relax.
"You know she's going to say you're overreacting anyway and she doesn't deserve it." Regulus comments, as he puts away the last things for the party. Your birthday would be celebrated this evening, after a romantic walk between you and your fiancĂŠ. Remus had managed to convince the prefect with the Ravenclaw night shift to turn a blind eye, and would thus take you in front of the Room of Requirement, afterwards around the park, and there all your friends would surprise you. It was a well-thought-out plan, and it still doesn't explain how you didn't actually almost come to find out only today and not weeks before.
"Which is silly after all he gives every day for us." Sirius continues, as James nods, placing balloons on the wall. "Our mother deserves a proper celebration." The oldest Black concludes, making all three other boys laugh. "Ever since you and Remus got together, the boys started calling you the 'mom' of the group, since they always teased Remus for being their dad in a way, since he was the most responsible of the four.
When they finish laughing they go back to work to sort out the last few things for the party, knowing that it is now only a short time away. Right now you are supposed to be with the girls, whose job it is to distract you from the absence of your friends and your boyfriend, but Remus cannot help but keep fidgeting both behind every little detail and out of fear that at any moment you might walk in the door and find out why he has not been very close to you these past few weeks, but after all, part of him knows it might be because of the gift he gave you.
Remus keeps moving like a damned soul without rest for a while before Regulus stands up and blocks him with a hand on his shoulder.
"Man, everything is perfect, why don't you just relax for a moment?" The youngest among them asks the werewolf, but immediately Regulus sees in his friend's eyes that there is something else and not just what they are preparing that is upsetting him.
"There is something that doesn't give you peace." Regulus comments, and Remus says nothing, and just looks at him. "It's not like it's the gift you gave her, is it?" The Slytherin continues, marveling at the Gryffindor in front of him.
"How did you do that?" Lupin asks, increasingly shocked by young Black's prowess, when the other in response merely laughs.
"You were playing with a little box earlier, and can one read the doubt and fear in your eyes?" Regulus explains, continuing to laugh, while Remus in response rolls his eyes and looks at the clock, seeing that it was almost time to see you, so he gets up.
"It's almost time for our walk. Take care guys, the others should be here soon. Don't screw up please." Lupin asks as he looks at his friends, who reassure him and give him pats of encouragement.
"Go and return victorious with the lady messer Lupin." Sirius says, giving him a sort of bow, just before Remus walks out the door. He turns and as a last thing gives him a middle finger, after promising never to let him see "The princess bride" again.
Remus could feel his own heart beating in his throat as he saw you coming downstairs in simple jeans and his favorite sweater. You are simply perfect in his eyes, and nothing could change his mind.
"Finally, it seems like I haven't seen you in forever. Where have you been until now?" You ask curiously, seeing him a little stressed. "Are you okay? You look a little pale honey."
Immediately his heart warms at hearing your concern, and he can't help but think that maybe those nutty friends of his are right to call you "mom," and gently the boy shakes his head.
"I'm fine honey, maybe I just need to get some air. Would you like to take a ride with me?" He asks, and he doesn't even have to wait a second for an answer, as like a hurricane you pounce on him, taking him under your arm and running toward the school grounds. You walk around the lawns for a while, laughing and joking like you haven't in a long time. Nothing could dent your mood, and nothing exists apart from each other at this moment.
From the outside, one can see obvious the love you feel for the other person, only from your eyes, more than from your gestures, which seem to sing the most beautiful love song ever heard.
Hours seem to pass, then Remus looks at his watch and realizes that you are running late, so with the excuse that he has to catch another prefect in one of the side corridors to get the keys to a closet for the next prank James and Sirius are planning, he takes you in front of the mystery room. He's never felt more flustered than he does right now, and he's doubtful whether to give you the gift now or later, when you, damned curious as usual, lean out and touch the door.
"How come the room of needs is visible?" Ask curiously, as you watch him break into a cold sweat and try to play the part of the one who hides nothing.
"I have no idea my dear, try opening it and see what's behind it." Try suggesting Remus, as he rests a hand on your shoulder to guide you into the darkness of the room that opens before you. A few seconds pass and just as you're wondering what the point of it all is, the lights come on and all your friends pop out from behind couches and armchairs, shouting who "surprise" who "happy birthday," but all with beaming smiles on their lips as they come to hug you.
You immediately feel tears in your eyes, which you let run, because of the happiness and excitement they made you feel seeing so many people gathered to celebrate you.
Once you've greeted everyone you turn to Remus, who looks at you smiling, his hands behind his back.
"Did you arrange everything?" You ask in amazement as you look around and try to memorize every single detail of everything around you. "You didn't have to-"
"Yes I had to. You deserve this and much more than I can give you, you deserve the world, indeed the universe. And it wasn't just me, everyone helped me in some way." He interrupts you, as he circles your shoulders with one arm, and you hold him even tighter to you, squeezing his waist. "I love you, and all I want to do is remind you of that every day, but today especially, after all it's your day, and we all came here just for you, because we all love you, me more than all of them." He continues, resting his forehead on yours. Then he freezes for a moment, right for a few seconds and pulls out a box from his pants pocket.
"I want to give you my present now, because I want you to think about it." He says and you, confused for the umpteenth time this evening, wipe away the last of your tears and then pick up the box he is handing you. It is a black velvet box, and when you open it you see a pair of keys. You look up not understanding what they were, so your boyfriend explains.
"These are the keys to an apartment in Edinburgh, in your favorite area, which I may or may not have asked an old family friend to rent to me and my girlfriend, once I finished school, if she wanted to move in with me. What do you say, what will she decide?" He asks as he strokes your face and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear. You can't help but cry again before you go back to hugging him, just enough to take his breath away, your arms wrapped around his neck.
"I don't even have to think about it, the answer is obviously yes idiot." You whisper between the kisses you leave all along his face, making him laugh, while a few tears escape him as well. "You know you're pretty dumb for the smartest guy I know, it was obvious my answer was yes. And me thinking for a moment today that you had found a new girlfriend and were going to break up with me, damn how stupid I am."
Both of you laugh, still clasped in each other's arms, enjoying that closeness you had missed so much.
"I love you more than my own life, how could I ever look for another girl, when I have the most perfect girl that exists in the whole universe?" Remmy says in a whisper in your ear.
"I love you too Lupin, but you don't have to suck up, look you've already won your reward tonight." You counter by winking at him and he jokes by raising his eyebrows and whispering "I won, let's hurry up and leave this party then," making you laugh, until that sweet moment is interrupted as usual by the grace of Sirius Mr.Elegance of the Year Black.
"Do you want to be part of the party too, or are you going to be lovebirds the whole party?" He asks to throw a handful of confetti at you.
"I guess your reward will have to wait for Lupin." You say, as you hear him laugh, and together you go to enjoy this party with your friends, while in your mind already what will happen tonight in your own personal after party.

Rebirth p.1
Pairing: George weasly x reader Word count: 1884 Summary: Y/N's pregnancy is something she realises late, as she attempts to speak to George, he has to go on the battle of the seven Potters.
It had been a crazy year Therefore actually living during the second wizarding world was something else. Both my parents were members of the order, and after Dumbledoreâs murder everything seemed to be chaotically bad. They had a plan to lure the Death Eaters to Harry without sacrificing him. I was an exceptional potioneer or a more fun Snape as George always mocks me. Â I was fixing the last parts of the poly juice potion when my boyfriend entered and hugged me from the behind causing me to jolt.
âGeorge!â I exclaimed and he kissed my cheek before letting go. âI will ruin the whole thing!â I shouted at him. Truth be told I disliked the plan. Both him and I were to participate therefore I stepped back- I couldnât handle it at that point felt as if I should stay back Molly and Ginny shouldnât be left unguarded. Other than that I had the worse feeling ever and it drove me sick.
âExcuse you- I cannot seem to not hug you when I see you.â His voice stroked my ears as he sat next to my working bench. Before I could reply he gagged. âHow can you stand the smell?â He asked me and I chuckled.
âNumbing spell. I donât feel anything.â I smiled at him adding the hair Harry gave me. Then added the stinky green slimed potion into seven vials.
âSmart girl, But I prefer when you make art. How am I supposed to drink that?â He asked me, his tone whiny therefore he landed me back on reality. My hand shook lightly as I was pouring it on the vials. My expression shifted almost too immediately at the mention of the situation.
âHey hey- Y/N what- what is it?â He asked me his frown matching mine. He removed the small cauldron and the vial from my grip, my hands were shaking.
âI really donât want you to go-.â I sighed and looked elsewhere. âI am sorry, I donât mean to discourage you- I shouldâve been used to it by now, mom and dad always goâŚâ I explained but felt awful for bringing it up like that. He shouldnât worry about me or a potential failure.
âY/N, you are not discouraging me- you know me better than this.â George chuckled and pulled me close to him. âEverything will be okay.â He smiled at me, his smile was always suing bad thoughts away, stress and angst as well. George is aware of my difficulties on this spot, my parents often had missions assigned to them by the order that had them in jeopardy, countless nights I spent for a letter that they are alive. George was always staying up with me.
âI wanted to tell you something- Something about us-.â I sighed and looked at him, my whole body went numb and this time it was not the spell. But the goddamn voice of Madeye whining was heard.
âYou will tell me once I get back.â George spoke, he stroked my cheek caringly. âBecause I will always get back to you.â He spoke before pulling me for a kiss. I kissed him back, my lips hugging his. Usually it was the other way around- My passion made him chuckle lightly.
âY/N your mother said you were the quickest.â He exclaimed, he was my motherâs mentor and my fatherâs as well. Now he wanted to be mine as well therefore I have a better chemistry with Remus Lupin.
âAm I not? I did make a potion for seven that takes three months in 20 hours⌠Iâd call that lightning speed.â I spoke and offered the vials to Fleur, then to Ron, Fred, Hermione, Madeye who looked at it judgementally.
âIt smells.â Alastor commented and I smiled.
âI may or may have not put the hair of a goblin in itâŚâ I spoke before I moved to George and gave it to him my expression shifting from joyful.
âIâll bring him back to you in one piece.â Remus spoke, his hand squeezing my shoulder assuringly as everyone was changing. He pulled me further. âAre you feeling well? You seem a bit pale.â He commented.
âI am awake two days⌠itâs the exhaustion.â I attempted to assure him but Remus only shook his head.
âHeightened senses.â Â Was all he said before returning back to the seven potters were standing in the middle of the room, he didnât let me ask him though I knew he was aware of my current condition. I choked a laugh as Fleur was taking off her bra that wasnât fit on Harryâs broad chest. Suddenly a potter grabbed my waist and kissed me. I let out a laugh.
âNow I cant tell who is Fred and who is you⌠You are identical.â I chuckled practically hugging Harry Potter.
âI am still prettierâ Harry- Fred spoke up making me and George laugh.
âYou wishâ George chuckled, he was still holding me close to him but it wasnât the same. I was literally kissing his sisterâs boyfriend. Awkward.
~
The time passed- it was slowly moving on I was with Ginny in her room, she was reading to me a muggle book her father found and my eyelids went heavy, I hadnât slept in some days, it wasnât healthy and I had to be healthy these days. It was like a dream I was watching from afar. Voices- panicked voices. I woke up, reality hitting me hard once again- Someone was back. I launched my self downstairs to see Remus pointing his wand at Harry.
âRemus! What-?â I was to ask but then saw George- His head- he was bleeding âOh my-âŚâ I rushed and kneeled next to the sofa. He was white as sheet with Molly above him. His ghostly gaze looked up at me and his lips curved into a small smile that didnât last more than two seconds. I could tell his eye lids felt heavy. He didnât have the strength to move his gaze. I held his hand in mine but his fingers shifted cupping my hand instead. I teared up stroking his head slowly to take a look at the wound- I sobbed at the severity.
âSsshâ he shushed me that was all I need to keep my weeping silent. The last thing he needed was my sentimentalities. Remus placed his hand on my shoulder pulling me backwards lightly.
âThereâs that spell on one of books of Snape-.â I turned to Harry. âThis was a sectumsemptra-.â I sobbed the counter curse. Remus seemed thoughtful and Harry stunned. I felt the frustration boiling my blood. âAnd- and until then he needs the Anticeptic potion-.â I spoke, my voice was shaking and I sobbed. Once I turned around I saw Fred and Mr. Weasly. I didnât realize they were back.
âHow are you feeling Georgie?â Fred was asking, his hand shaking as well as he stroked Georgeâs head. I was right behind him touching his shoulder. His gaze looking up at me before he made space for me too. I kneeled next to him.
âSaint like.â Georgie spoke and I got confused and looked at Fred.
âCome again?â Fred asked with a frown.
âIâm holey, Holey Fred.â Geroge chuckled weakly. I laughed getting his humor almost too immediately, his fingers waving lightly as I placed my hand to the spot they belonged. In his.
âThe wole wide world of ear related humor and you go for âI am holeyâ? Pathetic.â Fred spoke, his lips crept in a smile and I couldnât help but laugh. I admired their relationship- more than anything. It was so unique and pretty.
âMad-eyes dead.â I heard- it was Bill- his gaze blank.
I covered my mouth removing my hand from Georgeâs. I stood up almost immediately getting lightheaded. Fred got me before anything would happen further, unfortunately George saw it- he tried moving.
âHey no -noâ I exclaimed âIâll get some air and make the potion alright?â I asked him- I didnât bother hiding my tears anymore. It would be unnatural he knew me too well.
âFredâ George spoke his twins name and Fred knew exactly what his brother wanted him to do. He stood up holding my forearm for security as he escorted me out. Once we were out I let out a loud sob letting the bottled up sentiments out.
âHey- heyâ Fred pulled me in a hug. âHe will be alright.â He assured me, rubbing my back in a soothing way. I hugged him too. He was the most important person to both our lives.
âIts- I wanted to tell him- And now I cant he is so injured- But I will not be able to live if he doesnât know- if he never learns.â I babbled out between sobs, my tears were rivers streaming down my face- I stumbled- leaning against Fredâs physique.
âEasy Y/N!â he exclaimed as he kneeled down assisting me to sit on the grass. âTell him what- He will live- he cant not do that.â Fred assured me- or more like attempted to do sofor both me and him.
âI tried telling him before you all left and he said I should tell him once he comes back. I had a bad feeling and it became real-.â I sobbed trying to unriddle what was so important what was panicking me.
âWhat are you talking about?â he asked me, I was shaking and he placed his coat on my shoulders and I hugged closer to me to get warmer.
âI am pregnant Fred! And he doesnât know.â I exclaimed with a sob- âAnd now he is dying- he is bleeding out and we donât even know the assessment of the wound and- I am not calm enough to do that-.â my overthinking habit was audibly taking over.
âYou- you are- Y/N you need to calm down- not for you or George- but for the tiny creature here.â Fred assured me guiding me to take deep breaths. âWho else knows??âhe asked me.
âLupin understood- heightened senses.â I revealed my hand subcounciously to my belly. I had gained weight already but no one seemed to notice and I only found out two days ago before all these started.
âHe will be alright okay? How about you tell me the herbs you need for that potion-.â Fred spoke, I could tell his panic rising.
âYou know of herbology?â i asked with a slight chuckle, I was wiping my tears with my sleeve as I took the hand he offered to stand up.
âFor your information, I know more than I let on.â Fred smiled as I started mentioning our years at Hogwarts.

Remus' PoV
I had mastered a lot of challenges in my life. None of them was easy, but some easier to manage than the other.
Yet I had not expected to face my biggest challenge when becoming a teacher at my old school. It was not even the teacher part that was bothering me. Not at all actually. I enjoyed teaching despite my difficulties with the full moon.
My issue was a certain student named (f/n) (l/n).
She was a bright student indeed, on top of her class. Nevertheless she came along with her (your house) classmates.
Kate had never told me that she had been expecting my daughter. She had raised (f/n) on her own, leaving me out of the picture. And now that I had just found out about her, it was hard to build a proper relationship together. After all my kid was already 14 years old.
Over the year I tried to spend as much time with her as possible to bond. She was reluctant from time to time, but also curious. So she actually agreed to meet up out of class.
We did come along pretty well, but somehow we did not manage to establish a father-daughter relationship. I was more of a mentor to her.
No matter how hard I tried to change it up, it just did not seem to work out.
To be honest it was hurting me that I had missed so much time with her without intending to and I was blaming Kate for it. I did not understand why she had kept my kid away from me.
It hurt that (f/n) was calling me Remus instead of dad, although it was not her fault. She was most likely having an even harder time to adapt than me.
All of that changed for the worse in the end of 1994. Kate had died in a car accident.
I had planned to confront her with the whole situation, but had not been able to gather my courage in time. Now I would never get the chance to. But that did not matter.
(f/n) had just lost her mom after turning sixteen a few days ago. It was a cruel fate. Like I had just met her in time, so she would at least have another parent left.
During the Christmas holidays she did not want to see me and I could not and did not want to force her. But she did not really have a choice but to come to me to Grimmauld Place during the summer holidays.
I was anxious for her to arrive. After all I barely knew her and we had never spent this much time together, especially during such an emotional time.
But I intended to do the best I could.
When she arrived she greeted me with a quiet âHeyâ, barely looking at me.
She spent most of the time in her room, even when I tried to get her out of it.
After a few days I was defeated. I had no idea how to get through to her. She was obviously grieving and I could not support her the way she needed it.
I offered her to get professional help, but she refused vehemently. The only time I had seen some life in her since Kate's death.
Instead I realized that some of the alcohol was missing or rather Sirius noticed. I asked around to make sure that nobody else had taken it before confronting (f/n).
I was nervous but upset enough to knock on her door.
â(f/n), we need to talkâ, I requested.
âI don't wanna talk to youâ, she declared. âGo away.â
âI won't. Will you let me in or do I have to enter without your permission?â, I inquired.
âFineâ, she grumbled.
Her room was a mess, but that was a topic for another time.
âWe noticed that some alcohol is missing. Nobody else took it. So it's gotta be youâ, I proposed.
âSo what?â, she shot back, not even facing me.
She was laying in her bed, her back turned toward me.
â(f/n), you're sixteen. You can't just walk around and steal the alcohol. Your brain is still developing. Do you even realize how damaging that is?â, I wondered.
âDoesn't matterâ, she mumbled.
âYes, it does. I can't believe you're so irresponsibleâ, I ranted. âI really expected more from you.â
âOh, yeah?â Now she sat up and turned toward me. âI'm so sorry you're disappointed in meâ, she stated sarcastically. âIt must be heartbreaking and embarrassing that you did not have enough influence on me to raise me properly.â
â(f/n), I get that you're upset ...â
She interrupted me: âNo, you don't! You don't get anything! You don't even know me! We're talking about my mom here. She's gone and she'll never come back. Now all I have left is you. You're trying to act like my dad, but you're not. You're a stranger. I don't need you!â
A heaviness settled inside of me that I could not just shake off. I was mad at her. Mainly because everything she had said was true. It had been plaguing me since I had met her for the first time.
âNow please just leave me aloneâ, she whispered.
I wanted to comfort her, to build a bridge between us. But I could not. Maybe I had lost too much time with her to fix it up.
