Yandere Boyfriend has seen the trend on tiktok where people make a ‘burr basket’ for their significant other. He’s obviously going to participate because he simply loves you, and he doesn’t want to be flamed on the internet incase you wanted to share how you didn’t get one to a bunch of people you didn’t know. He thought that a ‘burr basket’ was sort of ridiculous, that it fed into overconsumption, but he decided to put that aside and get you one because it’ll make you happy. He’s been secretly shopping here and there, watching you browse the aisles and stores. You had the tendency to call something ‘cute’ or you made a comment that you needed that item— yet you would always put it back on the shelf and walk away. Your boyfriend would scratch his head in confusion and quickly grab that thing and toss it into the basket he carried. If you weren’t going to buy it, he will.

Calm Yandere has always been the type of person to think of a theme before he buys you something. For your birthday, he knew that you ran out of your favorite perfume, so he buys you another, and a bunch of flowers and aromatic things. For this year, he knew he wanted to get you an array of cozy items. A thick white sweater, mufflers with a snowflake design, fuzzy socks to go with the pair of uggs, a candle that smells like apple and wood, and a bunch of tea he got from a specialty store. He puts all of his items in a red box with a gingerbread design, and puts a bow on top. He’s quite happy with what he got you, and he contemplated multiple times if he should just tell you. However, every time he reached for his phone, his dog would put her paw on his hand. Silently telling him not to.

Yandere Husband loves to travel with his family, but since his sisters were visiting him instead, he decided to stay at home and surprise you with something else. Tickets, booking hotels and flights was his sort of expertise, and buying gifts for others… was a bit of an hassle since you had closed yourself off to him. He couldn’t tell what you liked anymore, so he was really working off of whatever intel Henry gave him. But, he had an inkling that Henry was mostly dropping hints of what he wanted. Because your husband was pretty sure you couldn’t care less about receiving monster trucks, and “sick new shoes, and it has to be from adidas. Dad, are you even listening? Should I just draw you the exact pair I want— I mean what mom wants?”

Your man knew that you wanted a lamp. You had mentioned before that you wanted to add some light to the bedroom, and instead of giving you a regular shmegular lamp, he got you the Alabaster Totem 16 that costed about 30k. He just thought it was cute and unique. And of course, he just haaaad to get you some jewelry too. He personally liked Mikimoto and got you the ‘Classic Black Sea Pearl and Diamond Pendant.’ He also got you another necklace from Graff, a ‘Pear Shape Diamond Cross-over Necklace.’

This is the type of food Moira and Henry would make for reader— with the help of yandere husband of course lol. They might not be too concerned if the food tastes good or not, and as long as it was pretty, they’ll feed it to their mother. While yandere husband is busy making the food, the kids will make their iconic homemade cards they give you every year. Henry is a drawer, always scribbling some comic inside his card instead of words, and Moira liked to practice her cursive skills.

For Yandere Chaebol, Christmas is a pretty big deal to him and his family. He has a truckload of presents for his family, and another truck for his kids. His cousins are located in Busan, and his whole mother’s side preferred the simpler life of Jeju island. So, he’s dragging you around to visit all of his family. He’s not ashamed to show you off to his family anymore, and the press had learned of your guys’ relationship. A lot of people had so much shit to say, and the k-netizens don’t technically like you. The Chaebol cares about practicality… and comfortability, so he bought you a pair of shoes. You two will be walking around a lot, seeing nice sights, and eat good food. He might not be getting you much, but he’s paying for pretty much everything. The hotels, restaurants, the transportation, and the dumb souvenirs you want.

Yandere Prince isnt about to get you a necklace or earrings, but definitely a human feast. He’s been keeping a list of all the people he hates, and had beef with, for the past year. For thirty days straight, he’s been hunting them down and kidnapping them. He kept them plump for his wife- shoving clean foods down their throat. When Christmas time came along, he pretended he didn’t get you anything. He just sat there at the head of the table, and made brief glances at you. You were a tinge disappointed, your stomach growling, but you never had a taste for human food. You were starting to expect that you were going to have to sit there and watch your family chow down, but then… Your husband got up from his seat, clapped his hands, and a light had appeared at the newly built stage. His enemies were then lined up one by one, each in chains and shackles. The yandere prince might not show love for you, but he does think you’re beautiful. The way you tear into his enemies and make them scream… he’s glad to have you.

Dumb Yandere’s making sure that the house is clean, the bedsheets were washed and dried, and that the dining room is decorated to the nines! The yandere bought a tiny tree with red and white ornaments, a mistletoe taped to the front door (so he can immediately have an excuse to kiss you), and he was your present. The man awkwardly adjusted the wrapping paper he put around his cock, and he waddled around the house as he prepared the dinner table. He had ordered food before you came, and he made the dessert himself. He picked off the burnt bits on the pie, and tried to cover up the misshapen brownies with powdered sugar.

I grew up in the Enchanted Forest when the curse was cast I was left in the forest. But I got separated from my husband I don't know if he went where everyone else did but I'm determined to find him again.

It was like any other day in the forest I was at a tavern drinking rum before I had to get back to the ship. Yes, I'm a pirate the sea is my second love. That is when I seen him walk in. It can't be true. I must be seeing things. I've been looking for him for so long and here he is in front of me.

"Luv you must be crazy! You can't just walk into a tavern wearing the clothes from the other world. People will think you are crazy."

Then she just walks in though the doors. I just grit my teeth and follow her. No matter how much I love her she just loves putting her self in danger.

As I walk in I see a girl at the bar with y/h/c and y/e/c. She looks like she's seen a ghost. She looks very familiar to me but I just can't put my hook on why.

"Excuse me we are looking for Jack Sparrows daughter. We need her help with something."

Emma that's her name. The women he showed up with. The women he is staring at so fondly. I found him and I already lost him.

I've seen her in Henry's book. A lot of the pages was ripped out about her. Almost like someone didn't want anyone knowing about her.

"All we need is a drop of your blood to open the portal."

She finally looked at me and all I seen was sadness in her eye's.

"I'll help you. Just give me something to put my blood in."

"Well we need you to come with us."

She nodded her head and threw out her hand for us to start walking.

"So luv tell me about the time I was on the Black Pearl my memories are foggy."

I watched a light come into her eye's. Like she just got asked to see the Queen of England.

We finally reached where we was going. All we needed was her blood.

"Do you think I can come with you?"

They both look at me and then look at each other before nodding. I pricked my finger and the portal opened. We closed our eyes and jumped in. When I opened them up I see that I'm standing on a road.

"Well I have things to do. Hook do you mind showing her around?"

"Sure I don't mind love." Then he leaned in and kissed her. That hurt but he is with her. I just hope he remembers me. He turned around to me and flashed me his famous smile. It made me melt inside. He offered me his arm.

"So I never actually got your name Miss. Sparrow."

"It's Y/n."

He showed me Granny's Dinner and helped me get a room. He intruded me to several people.

"So luv why did you want to come with us?"

"Well that ends our tour my lady. Maybe tomorrow I can take you to my friend and we can look at the book."

He walked away. As I watched him I seen Emma come around the corner they talked for a minute before walking away. I walked into Granny's and sat down. Ruby walked up to me.

"You hungry or thirst?"

"No, I think I'm gonna go lay down."

I got up and went into my room. I took off my boots and pulled my necklace out from under my shirt and looked at Killian's wedding ring. Tomorrow I'm gonna talk to Gold. Then I laid down and went to sleep.

Season 2 final thoughts:

My apologies to my Psych mutuals, my hyperfixation took me on a trip to Hatchetfield and very soon it’ll be in cinderellas castle. It can’t be helped. I plan on finishing my rewatch, especially because I’m about to get into one of my favorite seasons, but it’ll probably be sporadic at best.

Here are my final thoughts on season 2!

This is the official season of lassie stumbling upon shawn and gus by happenstance. He does it in american duos, dis-lodged, black and tan, and im counting lassie standing in front of his pic at the museum. He can push them away as much as he wants but shawns like a boomerang.

I find it incredibly disrespectful that shawn and gus took credit for finding that dinosaur when that one guy literally died for it . Also im pretty sure it would be impossible for a t-rex to be discovered in california because it was all underwater at that time. But thats neither here nor there.

Shawn being a forgery/handwriting expert brings up a funny/depressing image of little shawn having to write lines but in different peoples handwritings

Shawn is an incredibly fast thinker! He saw this scene

And not only deduced what actually happened, but also came up with a cover story for him at the same time.

Word of the day Abulic: abnormal lack of ability to act or to make decisions. Psych writers just casually dropped that little pearl in the middle of a scene in the finale

Overall it was a great season! Juliet got some more scenes, plus her character is beginning to get fleshed out, Gus was even funnier than i remembered, the heartfelt moments were very well acted especially by james who nailed the whole avoidant turmoil of it all. Henry, though, as ive stated in previous posts, is a lot harder to watch as a full fledged adult. He’s just such a prick to shawn any chance he can get. I’m so curious if I’ll be able to forgive him myself down the road. I mean, no wonder Shawn split when he turned 18 and hardly spoke to him again. Man, i wish we could’ve seen Shawn right after he left cause that is one juicy peach. He’d just be all angsty, jumping from one job to the next, getting fired or losing interest (or my personal headcanon is that his gifts of seeing everything kept getting him in some sort of trouble kind of like Poker Face (with natasha lyonne)).

[grant] well, i know it doesn’t fix the existential angst and you shouldn’t ever feel like it needs to go away instantly, but i guarantee you will be a good dad.

[grant] any kids you have will feel loved. they’ll be set up for the future no matter how everyone’s lives play out. i know you’ll do your best, and i know soobin will, too. you guys have worked so hard to have such a long and healthy and sincere relationship.

[grant] and the fact that you’re worried about any of this means you’re going to do a good job. shitty parents and shitty partners don’t ask if what they’re doing or about to do is wrong.

[grant] everyone is going to make mistakes sometimes but it’s about getting most of it right, and i believe you will. soobin doesn’t hold it over your head that for a while, your fear made you a little controlling. you improved and she forgave you. you’re smart, you’ll adapt, and most of all, you should know you’re loyal. at the end of the day, a parent who puts their kids first and never turns their back on them is the best parent in the world in my eyes.

[grant] mistakes can be forgiven if you put your kids first and treat them like a human being who matters.

[henry] i don’t know. i haven’t lived here since i was five years old. i've only visited, and then came back for one year to do the military service because i was wary of giving up my citizenship. but i almost did because truly, i did not want to go into the army. that shit sucked.

[grant] what does soobin think?

[henry] well, it was her idea. i'm very whatever about wherever i live. i feel no strong pull one way or another at the moment. but it’s different for her.

[henry] she lived here much longer than me. she cares much more and has a preference. i mean, she spent pretty much her entire life here except since college and during the school semesters between sixth and twelfth grades because her parents sent her to a fancy private school there.

[henry] i will say, soobin’s main point isn’t wrong, and it's the one you brought up. most of our family is here. it’s like you and michigan. that’s where your folks are. and that support is invaluable when you have kids, both for their social development and for financial reasons. plus, my mom actually wants to move back. she never talks about it, but i know she does.

[grant] i get that, too.

[henry] like i said, she’s just never been the same since my dad died. which i don't fault her for. she does her best to be happy, you know, but i think she feels very alone, even more now that i don’t live on the upper peninsula anymore. she was with him forever. they were soulmates. and her life drastically changed after he died.

[henry] this has been the first time she's had a job since, god, the 1980s. she loves being an art teacher for school kids, but that's a huge change in addition to the sudden loneliness.

[henry] and on the loneliness side, she has your family and they've been close for a long time.

[grant] she was literally over at my aunt bridie's house the other day making shampoo with her.

[henry] yeah, so she sees them pretty often and she also has her book club and some other friends, but she knows way more people here. seoul's where all her family and friends are.

[henry] i want my mom to be happy, you know? it’s my job as her son, and i'm the only child she ever had. she doesn’t need me to look after her every day, not really, but i want to and she deserves that. and truth be told, a part of me believes that if she comes back, i would feel not very good about being away from her.

[henry] i think that if i encourage her to come back or talk to her about it and she does go through with it, that would sway me more to soobin’s side. again, i want my mom to be happy, and i'm also scared of losing her. it doesn’t matter if it’s sudden or slow. i don’t want to lose her, and especially not if i feel like i've spent my whole adult life away from her, not prioritizing what time is left with her.

[henry] not to be morbid, but she’s almost 60. at some point you do ask yourself how much longer you have left with your older family members around. life is unfortunately very short.

[grant] of course. that’s totally understandable. she's a great mother, and you wouldn't want to miss out on that. and i'm sure you don’t want your kids to not have their grandma present in their lives.

[henry] but then i have to start over with my job and maybe i lose contact with my friends if i leave. i do have friends here–sorry, they weren’t able to come hang out this time, maybe next time–but my real two best friends are in michigan. it’s you and ben. i don't let anyone else get that close to me except for soobin because to me, my best friend slots are full. i don't want anyone else. no one else is worth it.

[henry] and i always said you’d be my kids’ godfather. i don’t want them to miss out on knowing you the way they should.

[grant] there’s facetime! and i'd come visit. and i'm so goddamn annoying, i will be texting you about everything i think about in the world for the rest of our lives. you're not going to lose me.

[grant] also, don’t stress out too much about this yet. you do not have to make any of these decisions now, and when you do need to, the right answers will come to you.

[grant] and listen, one last thing and then i'll shut up. i don’t know how, i don’t know why–i don’t think there is an answer to this–but the people we lose are still with us, even if only in spirit. i am famously a skeptic, but i felt something this year that changed my mind. i know you miss your dad but he’s still with you. somehow he’ll see your kids grow up, and he’ll be there guiding you to make the right decisions.

Henry marries Greta Keene just because she's rich and he wants to get away from his shitty life, only for her to insist they stay with Butch to piss off her father. She's been leaving Henry alone for large periods of time and it's made him very bitter, especially because he hates his father and mothers so much. His mother is catatonic from an icident here Butch pushed her down the stairs, and Butch spends every day beating, demeaning, and mistreating Henry if he doesn't do his chores. Henry's gotta take care of his mom, the animals, ans he's just plain sick of it. It wouldn't be so bad if Greta hadn't insisted they stay just so she could leave him alone. Then one night at the aladdin theatre he meets Belch and the two hit it off, Belch is working part time as the projectionist and he thinks Henry is cool enough to show how it works. He shows Henry some adult movies and tells him with enough ambition anyone can be famous. Henry's well off cousin Connor comes to visit Henry and Butch to give them some food but Butch is offended Connor's family thinks they need hand outs. Henry mentions the aladdin theatre is holding auditions for a big upcoming traveling show and Henry, although he is now song and dance man, has been slippong into delusions of granduer lately and will do just about anything to get out of here. But ofc this is still a Pearl au, so obviously Henry doesn't get it and he kils Connor, Butch, Belch and a bunch of animals along the way. Also, after Henry kills Butch, just like how Pearl wears her mom's dress, Henry raids his closet and wears his dad's hot pink greaser jacket from the 50's so he looks more like his book counter part. WIP Wednesday

Triplet snippet. Pez watches the boys in London while Alex and Henry go out on a date:

“Look, Dad!” Elijah says, proudly holding up his hand. He wiggles his fingers, letting the pink sparkles shine in the light.

As soon as the boys found out who was coming over, they begged Pez to bring his cosmetology set with him. And Pez, of course, delivered. He and the boys set up shop around a table in the living room. Endless pallets of make-up, dozens of different bottles of nail polish, and piles of hair accessories covered the large surface.

“They’re beautiful!” Henry says, kissing all three boys’ cheeks, and Pez’s too, for good measure, as he and Alex get ready to leave.

“Pez is in charge today,” Henry tells the boys, “Listen to him, okay?”

When they first talked about having kids, they asked Pez what he wanted to be called. Uncle Pez/ Auntie Pezza? Some variation of the two?

In the end, he went with Pez. He didn’t need a title. He was Pez. He had always been Pez. It was as simple as that.

Once the triplets started bringing artwork home from preschool, their creations all had labels that read things like, “my Tia June, my Aunt Bea, my Pez.”

Alex kisses the boys as well, and then points a finger at Pez, “Two rules, Okonjo: No mullets, no man buns.”

Pez clutches invisible pearls, “as if I’d ever ruin your childrens’ gorgeous hair with a man bun, of all monstrosities. I’m offended you would think so little of me, Alexander.”

The many, many references of chapter XI of Dorian Gray

This chapter can come across as a bit of a long, boring list of stuff. That's partly because it is a long, boring list of stuff, as we see how shallow Dorian's life of collecting trinkets and misdeeds is, compared with his lofty ambitions to be some kind of thought-leader of his age.

But it's Wilde, so a lot of this chapter has references and connotations that might not be obvious.

the sordid room of the little ill-famed tavern near the docks OK, this isn't particularly subtle given Wilde already tells us it's sordid and ill-famed. But it's probably not just a dodgy pub. Being near the docks implies that Dorian is hanging out with people in the lower classes, almost certainly including sex workers. I think there might also be a nudge-nudge wink-wink implication of homosexuality here - docks mean sailors, and the navy already had a reputation for homosexuality in Wilde's time.

Like Gautier, he was one for whom “the visible world existed.” Théophile Gautier, a French writer, critic and defender of Romanticism. He was flamboyant, unconventional and had lots of affairs.

Lodge’s strange romance ‘A Margarite of America’ A 16th century romance about the love affair between a Peruvian prince and a Russian princess. With a lot of gory bits.

Historic Royal Palaces - the people who run the Tower of London, among others - have him on their list of LGBT+ monarchs. They highlight this painting, where he's gazing at George Villiers, who also shagged his dad:

Charles the Rash, the last Duke of Burgundy of his race At this point I can't tell if Wilde is deliberately throwing in some misdirection, like the mention of Henry VIII, or if my Google-powers have failed me.

the mortuary cloth of King Chilperic Oh hang on a tick. King Chilperic was a 6th century monarch who is known, among other things, for having strangled his wife. Just as Henry VIII had two of his wives executed. So the theme here is either queer relationships - or murdered women.

(We then of course get a series of notable historical figures who, so far as I can tell, don't have any connections to either of these things. Also this bit goes on for ages and this post is already very long, so I'm going to skip past them).

dreadful places near Blue Gate Fields A slum area just north of the docks in East London. Known for opium dens, brothels and murders. Some people have suggested this is an allusion to Jack the Ripper, even a suggestion that Oscar Wilde knew who Jack the Ripper was, which I'm reasonably confident is nonsense.

brawling with foreign sailors in a low den in the distant parts of Whitechapel So what I'm finding quite funny here is that all the dodgy and dissolute places that Wilde has Dorian go are literally just the same place.

Near the docks = East London, probably in the area of Whitechapel Blue Gate Fields = Whitechapel the distant parts of Whitechapel = that would be Whitechapel, then?

The very odd Jack the Ripper website I just read interprets Wilde's descriptions as meaning that he had some kind of hidden knowledge of London's underworld... just as the Ripper would have!! But to me this reads a lot more like Wilde was aware of one (1) suitably shady-sounding location and ran with it.

Here was Philip Herbert That would be James I's lover, Philip Herbert. (What, you thought we were done with these?)

Sir Anthony Sherard Is fictional, but...

the lover of Giovanna of Naples Giovanna of Naples was a real person, who probably murdered her husband. (Nice to get some variety among the murdered spouses).

Lady Elizabeth Devereux A Tudor noblewoman, known for a quite public affair.

George Willoughby... had been a macaroni of the eighteenth century, and the friend, in his youth, of Lord Ferrars I can't find much on George Willoughby, but Lord Ferrers shot his steward, and is known as the last peer to have been hanged in England.

the second Lord Beckenham... he had led the orgies at Carlton House Lord Beckenham is (I think) fictional; George IV, who held wild and extravagant parties at Carlton House, is not.

Tiberius, in a garden at Capri Googling this brings up articles titled things like "The Scandalous Private Life of Tiberius Caesar". That makes it sound like the fun activities of consenting adults, but that's grossly misleading. The people involved were rumoured to be often neither consenting nor adults.

reading the shameful books of Elephantis Elephantis was a Greek poet and physician who wrote a sex manual.

Caligula... Domitian... Elagabalus Caligula was known for sex and murder. Domitian was known for censorship and control of public morals. Elagabalus was known for sexual promiscuity with men and women.

And that's the lot! For the last few paragraphs of the chapter, Wilde actually spells out the various misdeeds of the people he discusses (sex and murder, unsurprisingly), thus sparing me from Googling them.

Weighed in today at 286 and turned to face the storm ahead by sitting with my self made lawsm and doing some mapping for the first time in several years. For 2025, I overlayed the 25 intentions with those self made laws. I am very committed this year to buiding and healing. I have so much HOPE but its an active Hope, that if I do the right things and pull the right strings, I will catapult into a bigger, great story -for me and my family. I am ready for that. i feel so dumb because i have only realized Diane de Poitiers (Henry II of France's famous mistress) may have inspired Alys Rivers (along with Alice Perrers a very hated royal mistress who book!Alicent may be inspired by).

while she was not a bastard like Moll Davis --- the first royal mistress who was not a noble and was a bastard--- Diane is clearly a great inspiration to grrm regarding Alys' character.

Diane was 20 years older than Henry who was 15 when they began their affair,

drank liquefied gold to preserve her looks ---which slowly killed her as it was toxic--- well in to her fifties and also took a lot of care of herself to maintain her looks

this resulted in rumors of her being a witch as she needed to visit apothecaries frequently

her influence on Henry was so strong she got him to marry her cousin(Catherine de Medici), name his bastard daughter with another woman after her and had her raise her along with his children with catherine

dude was so in love with her he allowed her to sign court documents for him as Henridiane

the pope gave her a pearl necklace as a gift which was a huge deal

she got Château de Chenonceau as a gift from henry and after she remodeled it with her own wealth Catherine de Medici took it from her after denying her to be at Henry's bedside when he died

she had no children with Henry due to her age and Henry's fertility problems ---she did adopt Diane and have two daughters from her first marriage--- but helped him and Catherine have their ten children

her dad was arrested for treason and the plot was discovered by her husband

was accused of plotting against Francis I due to her immense influence on Henry

I woke up bright and early. I have to look for a job down at the docks and find Gold. I got up and put my boots back on and set out on my mission. I walked down to the docks talked to the manger about getting a job. I'm gonna help keep the boats stocked and check innovatory. As I was turning around I bumped into Killian.

"Did I get the time wrong Sparrow?"

He use to call me that all the time. I was his Little Sparrow he even would whistle when at me when I was a kid to tease me.

"No Kill I came down to the docks to get a job. Need to make money."

"Oh, well I was about to go to pick up Emma and go to Granny's to eat breakfast if you want come with me?"

"Um no it's okay I got other plans."

I put my head down and walked away. I walked back into town looking for Gold. When I bumped into Regina.

"Hello Y/N, how are you doing today?"

"I'm doing good. Just trying to figure out some stuff from my past."

"Anything I can help with?"

"No, I'm actually going to see the guy who I think can give me answers."

She nods and continues walking away. I finally reach the shop that I seen Gold enter into yesterday. I took a deep breath and walked in. I heard the bell over my head ring indicating that someone walked in. I looked around the shop to see what he was selling. Then I seen Gold walk around dressed in his suit.

"Hi dearie what can I do for you today?"

"I actually have a question for you. I'm sure you can tell that Killian doesn't remember me. But you do so I'm just wonder why?"

"Ahh great question. Well when Miss. Emma Swan came and saved the day from Regina I got my memories back. I don't know why your precious pirate doesn't remember."

"Okay, thank you for taking time out of your day to answering my question."

I walked out thanking to my self hmm he is up to something. Hopefully the book will have some answers for me.

I was sitting at Granny's with Emma I was thinking about Y/N. I know I worked on the boat with her dad but I feel like she is a missing piece to something. I looked at Emma and I see her talking but I'm not listening to her I just nod my head.

"Do you think Henry would be okay showing Y/N the book? She doesn't remember her past I'm hoping that the book has something about her."

"I'm sure he is fine with it. I actually remember seeing something about her in the book. Her father refused to take slaves on the boat and that's how he got the Black Pearl. She had fell in love with a boy on the boat that would tease her all the time by-"

Then I remembered a sound of someone whistling and calling for a sparrow. Maybe that was who she was looking for.

"Was there anything else in the book about her?"

"No the rest was ripped out of the book."

"Who would take her story out of the book?"

"Obviously someone that doesn't want her to know about her past."

Just then I heard the bell over the door ring and we look to see Y/N walking in. I wave her over and a smile at Emma. I turned back around to look Y/N I caught her eyes and I felt my heart pick up. She finally reached us.

"We was just talking about you and the book. Emma remember seeing something about you in the book. She said the pages are taken out. That had to be someone here that did that. We just need to find out who and why."

"Oh, wow. I thank I know who would take the pages out of the book. It was Gold he hates my family always had something against them."

"That sounds a lot like Gold always out to get someone. We need to break into his shop and look for the pages. Who better then an ex-thief and two pirates."

"Hook are you sure that's good idea? I'm the sheriff now I can't just be breaking into people's shops. I don't want you guys getting caught by Gold."

"Emma it's the only way to get some answers. Maybe we can have Regina help us."

Y/N POV

I don't want him seeing the pages and running off because he seen something he doesn't remember.

"You guys don't have to do that."

"You deserve to have your memories. Lets go talk to Regina."

They stand up and start walking to the door. I follow them as they hold hands and talk. I really hope they don't find any pages I don't want Hook to know before I can tell him. We reach Regina's house and Emma knock's. This house is as big as my aunt Elizabeth and my uncle Will's house. Regina opens the door finally.

"Hi, can I help you guys?"

"Y/N found out that Gold stole pages out of the story book about her. We was hoping that you could distract Gold while we break into his shop and look for them."

"You know I can't stand them but if it's to help Y/N in remembering her past I will do. She and her dad use to help me out."

So Regina remembers me which means she must remember my relationship to Killian and not saying anything. I have to talk to her alone so she doesn't say anything to Killian.

"But I might have a spell that will help you find the pages. They will glow gold when you are close to them."

"Thank you Regina that will help a whole lot. Thank you guy's for helping me get my memoires back."

The state courts are open even if the federal courts are closed, so the OAG is open; I have to be in office, rather than working from home, because Friday is my reno office day to come check mail and such. Today I have a couple things that must be done so I couldn't even call off and take some of the accrued time I have.

Work - I'm here because I have to physically send a file over to A&O; I already emailed them the necessary information but the case file physically has to get mailed over there as well. So I have to find those files, print the appeal form (God I hope we have the right color paper around) and try and FedEx this bitch out. Wish me luck.

Background Noise - Well I should be able to isolate myself enough to keep watching YT; since I'm not at home I won't be able to access my wrestling - the means by which I access some things are blocked by my work filter as being 'unsafe.' My home computer is set up in such a way as to handle the fact that these websites are not the safest, but I don't have that control with the work PC/laptop. I watched 36 videos between Wednesday & Thursday, so hopefully I can keep that up here.

Study - Friday means I'm reading Wikipedia; I've been doing this, but only the plots/character biographies of some Marvel stuff so I'm going to alternate that with actual serious stuff. I took a break from studying yesterday due to the holiday, but on Wednesday I did fulfil my 'visual study' criteria by watching two videos, both almost an hr long; one was on Henry VIII's wives, and the other was on the conspiracy theory that giants once roamed the Earth.

Extras - Friday means I have to clean the catbox out and prep it for the weekend; I'm making a frozen pizza for dinner in order to keep stuff low-key and stress free. Hunny and I already completed the Kamen Rider OOO episodes for the week so I think we'll probably watch the recently aired behind-the-scenes documentary of Mary Poppins, and a couple episodes of Garo: Makai no Hana. Dad comes home tomorrow so my little alone-time vacation is ending.

Hi so I’ve been ingesting a lot of pirate media recently (because I have a problem) and now I’m going to go on a mini rant about Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead men tell no tales, which isn’t a bad movie but it has its flaws. Now I will go forth and do my rant in the form of a list.

1. Salazar

Not a bad villain on the surface, actually I think he’s pretty cool. There’s just one problem, we’ve seen a villain like him before in this franchise. One who hates Captain Jack Sparrow because of something that happened in the past, one that can’t go on land, one that has some kind of curse on him, one that needed Jacks compass to do something in some way, and one that they needed to break his curse to defeat. Sound familiar? That’s because we already had this with DAVY JONES.

Other then a few details like Jones only being able to go on land every ten years as opposed to Salazar just not being able to, and the fact that their curses are different and Salazar isn’t in love with a sea goddess, but other then that they are very similar and even carry an undead theme. Hell, even Barbossa in the first movie is similar.

2. Jack giving up the compass

Okay so you’re telling me that Jack would give up the compass, the compass that he would not give up even to Will in Dead Man’s Chest, just to get rum? That compass is arguably his most prized possession and I don’t think that him giving it up even for a moment would happen unless he let someone else use it to get a heading just like in Dead Man’s Chest. There could have been another reason that Salazar was released, maybe there was a time limit or something, but I found Jack giving away the compass to be really really lazy.

4. Henry Turner and his parents

Okay so let me be clear, I don’t hate Henry. He’s a good character and I think his goal of finding the Trident to break every curse at sea and free his dad is a great motivation, but that being said.. why did he have to join the Navy to get on a ship?? His mom is the literal Pirate King, something that this movie seems to forget. Henry could have easily been placed on a pirate ship that fell under her ruling, maybe we could have been Barbossa earlier taking him off to find a way to break the curse or better yet let’s have Elizabeth step up and go with him! It’s not a big thing for me, but it does feel a little weird that Henry knows so little about piracy considering he was raised by one.

5. The characterization of (Captain) Jack Sparrow

As much as I love Jack and will always love Jack, he’s… pretty much useless in this movie. Other then letting Salazar free he’s pretty much been demoted to a funny side character who gives bad advice and drinks all the time. I get it, he’s been cursed by Barbossa and he’s down on his luck but that should not have stopped him! Also you’re telling me that he wouldn’t have found a way to get the Pearl out of the bottle? His beloved ship? He’d be scouring the world for that information! He also wouldn’t have cut off contact with Elizabeth I refuse to believe that. He may not be the brightest but he’s not stupid and I don’t like how this movie portrayed him.

6. Hector Barbossa

Okay so for the most part I think he’s fine, he got what he wanted in the end and he has a daughter that he sacrifices himself for. There’s just one problem, Hector Barbossa also stuck his neck out for Elizabeth Swann and I personally think that he would have remained loyal to her as the pirate King. Having a witch curse Jack is something he would do though.
