Summary: Tom was living his dream as a rising star in Hollywood for the past six years. Even though it was everything he ever wanted he missed everything that he left behind. His family back in London. His best friend who’s career had also taken off and though they were roomates they never had time for one another. His first love that was torn apart by a dumbass decision. He wished he could take it all back. All the stupid decisions he made in the past that could have been the other way around if he choose the right choice. What happens when he wakes up one day in the life he should have chosen?
warnings: nervous Tom, kinda fluff, Blythe being a smol bean, um yeah that's about it
word count: 3289
authors note: I feel like everyone of these I have an excuse on why I'm late to post. Well, it’s because I’m a senior in high school who has to apply to a million scholarships so I don't have to worry about student loans, but I’ll survive:) I also am taking three college classes and ironically English is the one that is killing me. I thank you for your patiences and wish me luck. Idk when the next part will come out but don't worry it’s happening. Also you know, just feel free to send me an ask anytime like I don’t mind (PSA this is my favorite look ever pic is definitely not mine)

After Blythe’s little incident and a good ten minutes of Lennon tending to her daughters small wounds they finally were able to calm her down before making their way back to the party. Tom was still overwhelmed by what happened earlier and it made every worse case scenario run through his mind. It was mostly about how he imagined Lennon finding out. The more he thought about telling her the more he backtracked his plan all together. Tom wasn’t going to tell her today. He knew that for sure, but that didn’t mean he could wait forever. Tom didn’t know exactly how this scenario would play out but he really didn’t want to at the least. He didn’t want Lennon to hate him and he also didn’t want her to act like she forgave him automatically.
He decided he needed to find the right opportunity because that’s what is best for everyone. He needed to wait it out because he still didn’t know if it was permanent, so why would he jeopardize it. If Blythe had come in a few moments later he would be hating himself even more. No matter how much he wondered if Lennon's lips were still as sensational as he remembered them to be. Another part of him wondered if he felt guilty just being so close to having an intimate moment with her how much more of that would build up inside of him.
Lennon brushes the curls out of her daughter's hair one last time before giving her a soft smile, “Are you going to be okay now?” The girl sniffed and nodded watching her mother stand up. Lennon turned to Tom giving him a sorrowful look and it made him panic even more because he knew what it was for.
Lennon and Tom grabbed the food while Blythe trailer behind them as they all walked back outside. Tom noticed more people than he did before, but that was because he just wasn’t paying attention earlier when he walked in with Xio. He saw many faces familiar, new, and old. It made his mind wonder on how the hell he was going to converse with them and still take on the persona of this other Tom. It was easier for him to talk to Harrison and Xio because they knew it wasn’t him. It wasn’t easy to talk with Lennon, but he was comfortable in the small conversations they have had so far.
“Can I go back to playing,” Blythe asked her mother in a more chipper mood looking at a few kids that Tom didn’t recognize.
Lennon nodded looking down at her. Blythe smiled rushing over to them stumbling a little. “Be careful please,” Lennon yelled at her letting out a sigh, “That child is a spitting image of you, I swear.”
Tom looked at Lennon shaking his head, “She’s a hundred percent you.” He meant every word their daughter was definitely a copy Lennon from the short time Tom knew her. Blythe didn’t have to do much to tell Tom that she was Lennon’s daughter because she was so much like her. He didn’t have to think about the fact that she had the same physical features as him but her mannerisms were like her mother’s.
Tom couldn’t remember much from his childhood. Well, he couldn’t remember some things, but he did remember Lennon. She was always so happy and full of energy. She never seemed to slow down and kept him on his toes when he was around her. When something sad would happen she would be back to herself in no time. Blythe proved that to Tom just mere seconds ago when she was a mess and then went straight to her task before she got hurt. It was almost scary how much their personalities were almost the same.
Lennon just scoffed at Tom rolling her eyes, “You only say that because you’re too stubborn to realize she is a girl version of you.”
“You can’t tell me that child who is stopping to pick the dandelion to make a wish is mini me,” Tom asked as he watched the five-year old stopped dead in her tracks looking down at the weed before picking it up and holding it tightly with one hand squeezing her eyes shut as the children rush pass her before blowing it out with the biggest smile on her face.
Lennon let out a laugh, “Well, I remember both of us doing that if I do recall.”
Tom smiled softly, “I’m glad I did because most of my wishes came true.” Well not exactly for him but the other him. You’ve learned by now Tom has always had the biggest crush on Lennon no matter how much he didn’t want to admit it. Lennon liking him back was a shock and he never expected her to return the feelings no matter how many times Haz told him to grow a pair and ask her out. She was too perfect for him
Lennon gave him a sly smile rolling her eyes, “You were always one for cheese Tom.”
Tom shrugged, “What can I say?
“Ah, Thomas, nice to see you not overthinking things,” a thick Irish accent said behind him making the hairs on the back of his neck. Tom knew it anywhere because it was one he had to reason with when was dating Lennon and to be honest it still gave him anioxty to this day.
The funny thing about Lennon’s father, Alex, is that he is the living embodiment of James Bond, Pierce Brosnan’s version, of course. One of his most fond memories of Lennon’s father is when Lennon, him, and Harrison went to see Mamma Mia in the Cinema. He took Lennon home after and he was face to face with the man when walking her to the door swearing he would break out into a song by ABBA at any given moment, or run off with some Meryl Streep doppelgänger to Kalokairi. He would never do that to his wife though. They were far too in love.
It wasn’t that Tom enjoyed Lennon’s father’s company it’s just something you don’t exactly need when you have everything else running through your mind. Having to deal with the man he had been afraid of since he started dating Lennon wasn’t at the top of his list. He respected the man as much as he did his own father, but he knew that in his old life the man probably hated his guts. Tom won’t blame him for it because he would only blame himself. Hell, he already did.
Tom let out a nervous laugh that didn’t have to be forced because his he was so anxious he was scared Alex would sense something off about him because it has happened many times before. The man was like a bloodhound on a search for its owners next game while on an afternoon hunt. “Well I am trying. Being laid back was a goal I have for the new year of my life.”
Lennon's father took a sip of his drink before winking and pointing at Tom mere seconds after the glass left his lips. “That’s always been a good goal of yours. Glad you are finally living up to it.”
“Awe, come on dad, Tom has already been doing that,” Lennon beamed looking at her husband making Tom give her a timid smile. Alex gave him a look that Tom has seen before.
He was having serious déjà vu and it wasn’t the good kind. It was like a happier version of the memory before and Tom was slightly scared. The memory was when Tom asked for her father to approve him asking Lennon for his hand in marriage. They were never engaged when they called things off but Tom wanted to do it so desperately.
It was at a dinner party Nikki decided to hold for something Tom couldn’t quite remember, but he did at the time. It was only them and a few family friends nothing too special; him and Lennon were a few months into their relationship that still felt surreal to Tom.
He knew he needed to talk to Alex and he was scared out of his mind. He feared rejection the most because he knew the man hardly trusted him when he was just friends with his daughter. Lennon was off with Xio and a few other girls that were invited and Tom took the chance. He saw him standing on the porch talking to his father and knew it was now or never.
Taking a deep breath he walked over to the tall Irishman trying his best to not stumble and fall on his face while on the way to ask the man the question that will change his future. As he approached closer Tom had second thoughts but he tried his hardest to hide them so it wouldn’t get the best of him. He was sticking to his plan no matter how much he wanted to not ask all together.
Alex noticed Tom approaching upon first glance and gave him a smile. Tom looked between the two men giving them both a nod while putting his hands in his pockets.
“Lennon leaves you alone for a couple of minutes and you don’t know what to do, am I right Thomas?” Alex said smiling down at him earning a laugh from Dominic.
Tom smiled nervously, “Uh, no, actually I came over here to talk to you about something. I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”
“Not at all,”  Alex reassured him, “This old man was just getting a good point around about London’s traffic laws.”
Dominic shook his head, “I’m sure we can continue our political debate later. Perhaps over another game of golf. I can play easier so I don’t win.”
“I think that’s how you play naturally Holland,” Alex playfully said back earning a laugh from Dominic.
Tom’s father looked towards the kitchen at his mother who was motioning for some assistance from him and let out a site tucking his hands in his pockets, “I suppose the spouse is calling me. Perfect timing for you, Tom.” He gave both his son and Alex a nod before walking off.
Tom gulped, he hoped it wasn’t noticeable to the man standing in front of him because if he knew how terrified he was there was no telling on what he was going to say in their next conversation.
Alex slung his arm around tom’s shoulder patting letting out a chuckle, “Your father is something Thomas. Maybe that's why I like you so much.” It was something said so simple, but it gave Tom a spark of hope and eased his nerves at the thought of Lennon’s father liking him. “Now, my boy, what is it you need to talk to me about,” Alex asked as he lead tom to a secluded part of the Holland’s yard stopping looking down at him as he waited patiently for Tom to speak.
Tom stood a little taller than normal adjusting his jacket as he tried to relax his shoulders, “I, uh… well sir you are well aware I have liked your daughter for a while. Even before we were dating.”
Alex narrowed his eyes at Tom. It wasn’t out of anger, no, far from it. He was doing it because it seemed he was trying to piece together at what Tom was getting at. Alex is an intelligent intellectual that can seem to figure things out quickly and it usually was a problem or a person that he was able to solve. Tom, however, was scared to say anything before the man spoke. He felt like he was constantly trying to impress the man. “I’m well aware of you’re infatuation for my daughter, yes. You two have been dating for a while I hope you’d at least expect me to notice.”
Tom’s eyes widened, “O-of course, Sir. I had no doubt that you are i-in-informed of Lennon and I.”
The man let out another deep throat chuckle, “Now Thomas, you don’t need to act nervous around me we’ve known each other for quite some time and I think it's only fitting for you to not stress so much around me.”
But that was the thing, everything that was going through Tom’s mind at the moment was making him nervous. What he was doing could make or break him and Lennon’s relationship. He was scared shittless to say the least. He cleared his throat hoping years of acting school and control of his voice could help him the situation he was in, “Well, you see, what I’m going to ask might.”
“What would that mean,” Alex asked his voice laced in concern. It caught tom by surprise. It only made tom’s mind wonder to Alex thinking the worst-case scenario. “Is there something you need to tell me Thomas.”
It was that look.
Tom let out a nervous laugh, “I guess I said that wrong and can see where you are interpreting what I’m saying as something negative, but I promise it's not.”
The olderman placed his hands on his hips, “Well go on.”
Tom took a deep breath, “Well let me start out by saying I love your daughter more than anything. I think she is breathtaking and her flaws are just as beautiful as her perfections. Lennon has taught me how to stay grounded through everything and has given me more second chances than I could count. She is amazing and has this presents about her that makes me want to know than I already do about her. Even our relationship started as friends she is always proving that she is the one that I’ve always wanted to have a life with as I grow older. I know your gonna say we are too young and that I’m crazy for even thinking you’d say yes. And believe me I have prepared myself for your rejection-”
“Yes.”
Tom didn’t even processes Alex’s reactions. “I just want you to know that I’m not going to stop asking, because I know she is my future. Not some stupid movie deal or another musical opportuinity… What?”
“Yes, Thomas you have my blessing.”
“You’re serious.”
“I can take it back if you like and say no,” Alex state bluntly.
“No!” Tom said a little too loudly making some of the people close to them turn to the sudden raise of his voice. He cleared his throat, “No. I uh- I just- I didn’t think that would work out so well.”
“For Christ sakes,Thomas, don’t tell me you have flashcards prepared.”
Tom let out another laugh, “Something like that yeah.”
Alex rolled his eyes, “You try too hard. I do trust you, Thomas, because Lennon trust you. Do I think I’m crazy for approving for my daughter to marry so young? Yes, but I rather it be with you than some son of a bitch that I know wasn’t good for her.” He looked over Tom’s shoulder and smiled.
“Hi dad,” he heard from behind him, “Tommy.” The two men didn’t say anything. “Did I interrupt something?” Lennon raised an eyebrow before intertwining her fingers with Tom.
“Not a thing Lennonbug,” Alex said smiling at his daughter proudly before giving the same look to Tom.
This was everything he wanted.
However, he didn’t want to think about the look Alex was giving him right now, “How have you been improving Thomas?”
Tom’s palms were sweaty as Lennon gripped his arm. This wasn’t him being scared shitless asking her father to marry her. This was him being scared shitless on what to say to the man in front of him in an opposite way. “Just… going with the flow…” Tom mentally cursed himself because he would never say that.
Both of them gave Tom an odd look before looking at each other. Before either one of them could speak on Tom’s choice of words the voice of Nikki came from the front porch, “Okay everyone lunch is ready. Let’s hurry and eat before Harry dies of starvation.” Before everyone could trample over to the plastic table outside that was filled with a full buffet Nikki stopped them, “But before we do so we should congratulate Tom for achieving all that he has. I’m proud of you for blessing me with the two most adorable children and the best daughter in law a mother could ask for.”
Tom smiled at his mother nodding in appreciation placing a hand on Lennon’s back. “Thanks Mum,” there was a slight pause as if everyone expected him to say something else, “What are we all standing around for let’s eat, I’m famished.”
The guests cheered before making there way to the table. Blythe ran up to Tom grabbing a hold of his had pulling him towards the crowd of people waiting in line, “Come on Daddy we need to hurry up if you want to get something to eat.”
Lennon laughed at the little girl, “Hang on little bird we need to wait for our turn. There are still going to be quite a bit of food left by we get to the table.” She turned to Tom, I’m going to get Eli and make sure you don’t put too much on her plate. We don’t need the incident we had at the twins party. As for you,” she turned to her daughter, “ You need to at least have a few vegetables on your plate if you want any cake.”
“Okay, Mummy,” Blythe let out another annoyed groan tugging Tom’s had more. Making him
practically stumble to the line of family and friends.
The party unfolded like any other everyday gathering with Tom able to avoid questions his brothers threw at him throughout lunch. Most of which were covered by Xiomara, and the slight uncomfort he felt when Lennon got up to go get something from the kitchen didn’t help his current situation.
Just when Tom thought he couldn’t bare his siblings grilling him about his current life a sense of relief came over him as the voice of Lennon came through the back door. Her smile was as bright as the glow of the candles lit brightly on the cake she was holding. Her voice carried the familiar tune as everyone else around him began to sing happy birthday.
Lennon set the cake down in front of him, placing a hand on his shoulder making him tense up. He made sure to not flinch so much. Being put in a situation that might make everything go away the next day made Tom start to panic. What was he supposed to do in this situation? Everyone tuning into the song with their gaze on him. Blythe plopping down next to Tom leaning over looking in awe at the pastry in front of her father.
“Make sure you wish for something good daddy,” The little girl whispered as the short song came to an end. He knew that but what the hell was he supposed to wish for. She looked over at him with her doe eyes, “Can I blow them out with you?”
Tom gave her a tight smile nodded allowing her to slide into his lap as everyone huddled around them. Tom shut his eyes and told himself to just live in the moment. With Blythe’s weight shifting in his lap and the feeling of Lennons hand on his shoulder this moment couldn’t have been more perfect. He couldn’t wish for this life to last but he could just let it temporarily engulf him with happiness.
That was his wish to just see what happens next with what could have been.

Spider Bite [Peter Parker x OC] - Chapter One.
Warnings: cursing, comic book violence, mutual pining, two idiots not knowing what to do about their emotions
The ringing of the school bell was loud and overbearing. Enough to set anyone's teeth on edge. She hated the sound of it. It felt as though it were nagging her, telling her who to be and what to do. He always claimed that she was being dramatic. She told him constantly that drama was what paid the bills.
        That day was no different.
"What bills?" Peter Parker's eyebrow quirked as he looked at her.
"Oh ya know," Cadence twirled her hand in a dramatic fashion. One that they both thought she'd picked up from watching his adopted father. "Subscription fees, my candle hoard, drum kit expansions. All the things one needs to be a successful rockstar."
"Sure, Candy Cane," his grin could make the world stop and stare. He just hadn't realized it. "You know you're probably gonna end up getting evicted, right?"
"Please," she scoffed, her pencil tapping a light beat against her notebook. "Jimmy loves me! He thinks I have a natural talent."
"I don't think him saying you kept cats screeching at night was saying you have natural talent." Peter had stopped trying to point things out delicately a very long time ago. Cadence wasn't delicate. She was able to take whatever he said and carry it with her as though it weighed nothing. Whereas she could tell him something and the effect of it would last multiple weeks.
They'd always worked that way. Peter was the one who she protected, while he kept her from feeling alone. Or worse.
"Settle down," their Calc teacher sighed as he walked into the classroom.
The effect on Cadence was immediate. Her eyes glazed over, her pencil stilling in her hands. Peter swore that she would be asleep within ten minutes if she wasn't careful. Math and science had never exactly been her thing, well, paying attention to them hadn't been. She was more interested in the finer things in life. Music and how it fed the soul.
Peter was certain that she was going to get expelled if she wasn't careful. Midtown High was known for being a school for the academically gifted. Cadence had shone on the entrance exams, but ever since coming to the school, she'd been fading. Whatever light they had originally seen was beginning to become an ember. One that he wasn't sure he could fan into a flame. But Cadence wouldn't let him help her. She wouldn't let anyone help her.
As their teacher began to discuss new theories and showing them how they could use them in a real-world setting, Cadence's pencil began to tap gently against the desk. No one but Peter even noticed it. She had known that she'd be able to get away with it. She always did. Always managed to show off her ability without ever getting herself into trouble.
Cadence knew that Peter wondered how she did it. How she managed to keep herself out of trouble when most of the time their teachers would yell at anyone who was a disruption. It was just because no one thought twice about her. She didn't actually do anything to get into trouble, she was just sort of there.
Although, if anyone was to find out what she did when she wasn't in school, she'd be in worlds of trouble.
After all, vigilante justice was illegal.
She doubted even Peter's adopted father could get her out of trouble, even if he paid for the world's best lawyer and made sure she had the best defense. She knew he'd do it. Anything for Peter. Anything to keep that boy from hurting more than he already did.
Peter nudged her gently in the ribs, a signal that the teacher had started asking questions. The pair had multiple signals for multiple things. Including pizza day in the cafeteria. Cadence had deemed it necessary, even if she knew that it wasn't. It was all just another way to be damn certain that Peter Parker would be a mainstay in her life. No matter what.
She came out of her stupor, albeit fighting to fall back into it. She managed it just in time, as Peter had been asked the answer to a question that made absolutely no sense to her. But of course he got it right without a second of thinking. He had always been the brains of their operation. She was certain that he was the only reason that she had yet to fail out. That and the fact that she was determined not to leave him behind.
The thought of being without Peter Parker was enough to make her sick.
The pair had met nearly nine years ago. They'd been seven years old and so eager to make friends with the first person they met. Peter had introduced himself, Cadence had said his name was stupid. He had told her hers was worse. The pair had been nearly inseparable ever since.
But sleepovers and staying on the phone until three am on a school night had ended during their freshman year of high school. Once her dad had been shot, she had thought that everything was falling apart. She'd pulled away from everyone and everything that she possibly could. Peter had clung to her as though that would fix whatever had broken inside of her.
She had clung to him like he was the only thing that kept her breathing.
But that didn't mean the two friends hadn't been hurt by the experience. It hadn't helped when he had started acting odd towards her after a field trip. She had always wondered if he had somehow figured out what she had been planning to do during that field trip. If he knew that she had chickened out. She wondered if his squirrely attitude had been because he was disappointed or if he was just mad at her.
They'd managed to get over their awkwardness during their sophomore year. They would finish it out the best of friends, like every other year. She knew that that little snag in their friendship wouldn't affect anything in the long-run. Even if she still had not told him everything.
The ringing of the bell brought her out of her thoughts.
"You coming over? Dad doesn't get off till like midnight." Cadence packed her stuff away with expert efficiency.
"Uh, no." Peter at least had the decency to look disappointed with himself. "Tony wants me to help in the lab."
Peter never called his adopted father 'dad'. She thought it was interesting but she had never commented on it. It wasn't her business, nor was anything to do with their relationship. It was between them and probably Peter's therapist.
"Oh. You can still come over whenever. Dad gave me pizza money. I was thinking pizza, movie, maybe a few levels of Lego Star Wars?" Cadence and Peter headed out of the classroom together. The sight so normal that no one even thought about it.
"C'mon, Cads," Peter groaned. "You know I'd rather be doing that. But this is really cool too! I'm sure Tony would let you come if you wanted to."
"Am I even allowed in the lab?"
"Daisy is." Peter grinned as he spoke about his sister. "She doesn't even get science."
Daisy Stark had always been an enigma to Cadence. She was the only one of Tony's kids that was biological and yet, she hadn't seemed to inherit her family's gift for science. The girl was a musician, just like Cadence, but she was normally strung out on some sort of high-end drug or deep within an alcohol binge. That had never stopped Peter from caring about her though. He was more protective of Daisy than he was of anyone.
Cadence was just waiting for Daisy to do something that would hurt Peter. She knew it was wrong of her to expect it, but she had always seen through the act that Tony and Peter seemed to buy. Daisy didn't care who she hurt. She was too busy searching for her next high.
"Oh yeah, so I'd be hanging out with the entire Stark family?"
"I mean, no? Maybe? I don't know. But it'll be more fun if you're there."
"I'm gonna take a raincheck on that," Cadence sighed. While they had managed to patch up their friendship, it seemed like they never had time for each other anymore.
"Caddie!" A voice came from behind them. Loud, clear, bell-like.
The pixie of a girl known as Fiona Winters came barreling down towards the two of them. Her eyes were bright, her hair a bright shade of blue that was definitely not dress code appropriate.
"Hey, Fi," Peter waved at her before turning his attention to his locker. Fiona had been brought into his life the moment he had befriended Cadence. While he and Cadence were closer than they had any right to be, the girls were like sisters. It was almost scary how well they knew each other.
"Hey, Petey," Fiona did not give him her full attention. Instead she took Cadence by the arm, tugging as hard as she could. It wasn't hard enough to do anything more than make Cadence giggle. "I'm stealing her from you. Toodles!"
"Call me tonight, Cads!" Peter called as the two girls rushed off.
Cadence was grateful that Peter would be unable to see the blush that had suddenly graced her features. She wasn't sure she could handle him teasing her about it. He wouldn't get why she was blushing, but she was certain he would make assumptions that she didn't want to think about.
"What's the rush, Fi?" She nearly tripped over her own feet as the shorter girl dragged her towards a set of stairs that students weren't allowed to use.
The girls had found the space last year. A large sub-basement that the school had left abandoned. It had taken them months to get it cleaned up, which had meant breaking into the school in the middle of the summer in order to work. But eventually they had got it up and running. Thanks to Fiona's parents, they had managed to scrape together three large computer monitors and a few crafting tables. Her parents didn't know what the girls were up to, but they had never said a word about footing the bill when it came to Fiona's hobbies.
"Glo and I just finished it! It looks absolutely stunning and you've gotta try it on now!" Fiona only ever sounded this excited when it came to one thing. Her suit.
"Finally!" Cadence grinned as she tossed her bag into the empty seat by the computer monitors.
Gloria didn't bother to look up from the wires that she was working on. That was far too normal when it came to Gloria. The girl didn't often like to be interrupted in her work. She often kept her work in her apartment. Besides, Cadence didn't think that Gloria liked her very much. Even if she had sometimes forced her company on the girl. It didn't seem quite fair really.
Cadence did not think of Gloria's dislike as she headed over to the mannequin standing just behind the table on the far left. The table was Fiona's zone and was littered with various fabrics and other materials that Cadence didn't know what were for.
"It's beautiful," she breathed out as she drank in the sight of her suit. The legs of the suit were black and led up to the design of a spider on the back, with the legs wrapping around the torso. The rest of the suit was white, except for the inside of the hood which was an electric shade of blue with pink webs. The pink and blue were on various other pieces of the suit, including on the arms and her ribcage. She would pair it with a pair of worn out black Converse. But it was perfect.
"We added a communication system in the mask. It'll be undetectable. Just tap on your left ear three times when you want to turn it off. Although, if you ever do turn it off, I'll be making sure to send emergency to your last location." Fiona said with a grin.
"Yeah, I got it. Comms on." The rule had been in place from the beginning. She understood it, to a point. She wasn't powered. She was fucked if she got into any actual trouble out there. She'd just been very, very lucky up to now. Normally, she had someone looking out for her.
Spider-Man always seemed to show up when she was about to die.
        "Anything else fun?"
"The blue on your ribs is extra padding, we thought it would be handy after last time you fought Rhino." Cadence winced at the memory. "Glo's also reupped your drumsticks, they're in your bag. Oh and we're finally getting somewhere with web fluid!"
"Ugh," Cadence hated to sound ungrateful but the Spider theme hadn't exactly been her idea.
"It's branding, Caddie!" Fiona had made this point several times. "Besides, it'll cut down on the time it takes to get to each scene if you can just swing there. Spidey's beaten you three times this week."
"Don't remind me," Cadence huffed. She stepped forward, running her fingers against the material. It felt soft under her touch, flexible. But she knew that Fiona had been working on fabric prototypes for months. For all she knew, the material was bulletproof or something.
"Don't rely too much on the suit," Fiona said as though she had read her mind. "I haven't worked out all the kinks with the bulletproof suit. It's still way too bulky. But this one should be more resilient to normal wear and tear. And I think it'll hold up against Rhino's horn. Just be careful with the mask. We can't have it falling off. Again."
        "That was one time."
"Yeah, and now the police know you're blonde." Fiona looked far too worried. "They're hunting you, Caddie. They don't care that you're helping people. And sometimes it feels like you don't care about that at all."
She didn't say anything. Fiona was right. Cadence wasn't afraid of getting caught. She knew that it would more than likely break her father's heart, not to mention her Uncle Charles would murder her. But this was her life. This was her calling. She'd been brought into this world with vengeance already in her heart.
If she couldn't bring herself to justice, she would bring down every other beast in this city.
"You got a message," Gloria spoke up for the first time. She was good at that. Speaking to break up the tension when Fiona and Cadence were close to getting into a fight over anything. Most of the time about Cadence being careless.
"What?" Cadence's brow furrowed. "How do we even get messages? I thought no one knew who I was or where base even is."
"I doubt Captain America has a problem finding that sort of information." Gloria didn't even bother to look at Cadence as she dropped the biggest piece of news that she'd ever heard.
"Captain America?" Cadence had to grip onto Fiona's work table to keep herself up. "Like the guy whose videos we watch daily? Like saved New York? Like the Avenger? Captain fucking America?"
        "Yes."
Cadence's head felt as though it had been filled with a strange buzzing. As though a billion bees had decided to take up home within her skull. She didn't know if the sound was annoying or if it was just her mind playing tricks on her. That or she was about to pass out. She didn't really know.
"Well, what did Captain America want?" She asked after taking about twenty seconds to calm herself down.
"He wants to meet with you at ten pm tonight. Statue of Liberty. Be in your suit." Gloria recited the message as though it were the most boring thing in the world. As though it was anything other than Cadence's whole future.
Was she being recruited to the Avengers? Had they finally realized that having two women on the team was beyond stupid? Were they going to let her be one of them? She could already see herself in a Stark Tech suit. She nearly salivated at the thought of all the fun tools that she'd get to use. Gloria and Fiona would have just as much fun working alongside the Avengers. She was certain of it.
She wanted to tell Peter. Wanted to laugh with him and have him congratulate her. But that wouldn't happen. Peter couldn't know about any of this. It was bad enough that the others did. She needed a team, she always had.
It just sucked that Peter couldn't be part of it.
Given how close Peter already was to the world of superheroes, she didn't want to bring him farther in. He'd already nearly lost his sister. His father had nearly been killed more times than either of them could count. Which was saying something considering that Peter was a certifiable math genius. One day, that same dark cloud would come for Peter Parker. Cadence would fight like hell to make sure that he survived.
Cadence was Peter's protector. She'd taken on that role long before either of them could ever imagine what it would one day mean. She had never been angry about it. She never would be.
"What do you think this is about?" Cadence asked, coming back down to the world around her.
"Who knows," Gloria huffed, her fingers twitching slightly. She was just as anxious about this as Fiona and Cadence. "But it probably won't be anything good."
"Haven't either of you been keeping up on Avengers Chatter?" Fiona asked, one of her colorful eyebrows raising. They were pink that day, although Cadence swore they'd been blue the day before.
"You're the only one that cares, Winter," Gloria spat.
Fiona either didn't notice the rudeness or didn't care. Given how much time the girls spent together, it was more than likely the latter. "If either of you cared about it, you would've heard about the Accords. Apparently, the government wants to control superheroes and vigilantes."
A chill went down Cadence's spine. She didn't even like being told when to go to bed. How would she handle being told when she could help people and when she had to stand down? The thought of it made her sick.
"Let me guess, Mr. America is all for it?" Gloria had a known dislike of most of the Avengers. Cadence just hadn't figured out why.
"Haha," Fiona looked as though she were debating stabbing Gloria with one of her sewing needles. "No, actually. Cap seems to be as pissed about it as Caddie."
"I haven't even said anything!" Cadence hated how easy she was to read. It felt as though Fiona knew everything about it. As though she could never hide a single secret from the girl. It was terrifying in all honesty.
"Oh it's radiating off of you. You're obviously annoyed about the idea of someone controlling you." Fiona's smile was almost terrifying. Cadence felt as though the seamstress was staring into her soul. "Besides Peter, of course."
"Shut up, Fi." They had this fight nearly once a week. The girls were certain that Cadence was in over her head.
Anyone with eyes could have seen how she felt for her best friend. Anyone except him. Peter Parker was oblivious to Cadence's feelings. She wanted it to stay that way. No matter what happened, their relationship would change the moment he found out. She couldn't take the possibility of losing him. Not when he had been the one constant in her life.
Cadence would lose herself if it meant keeping Peter Parker in her life. She would do anything it took in order to keep him.
Fiona's eyes twinkled as though she wanted to say more.
"C'mon, I need to get ready for patrol. Besides, I've got some ideas about the next suit to run past you both." Sure she had just gotten the newest model, but there were always ideas. Ideas to be better and better. Ideas that would get her noticed by the big boys, ideas that would turn her into an aVENGER.
The three girls spent nearly an hour getting Cadence suited up and her gear situated. All the while, Cadence spoke about how she wanted to add some sort of electricity into the suit itself. Someway to charge the drumsticks so she wouldn't have to worry about them running out of juice just before a fight. It had happened a few too many times.
"I'll see you two later. Don't wait up!" She grinned as she began to rush out of the hideout, using another exit that the three had built with the help of some of Gloria's more ... Explodey inventions.
"Cads! Be safe!" Fiona called after her. "And comms on!"
Cadence was gone before Fiona could finish.

happy father’s day - t.h.
pairing: tom holland x reader
warning: woman giving birth (nothing too detailed)
request: could you write something about tom helps his wife to give birth in their home becuse they can't go the hospital due to storm outside?
summary: You went to Tom's parents's country house for the weekend, but your baby decides to surprise you and arrives earlier than expected, making father's day unforgettable for Tom
words count: 1,557
Tumblr media
As your pregnancy was almost due to term and the date of delivery was scheduled for next week, Tom and you decided to leave and spend some time in in his parents's house in the countryside.
You arrived early in the evening on friday, the house being a bit far from the city, there was no wi-fi, only the tv and the landline worked. It was a cozy house, beautifully decorated, and outside there was grass stretched for miles, a pool where you needed to spend some time before leaving and a beautiful lake where a few ducks lived.
You put a hand on your round belly, smiling to yourself. You couldn’t wait to come back here once your baby was born, watch him play in the garden with Tessa, or see him play on a swing that Tom built for him, or teach him how to swim on a summer afternoon, do family barbecues, or celebrate his birthday here...You knew that when he would be here, your days would always be filled with laughter and joy with him by your side.
A shiver ran down your spine and you rubbed your hands over your arms, trying to warm up yourself a little as the wind began to get a little colder and the sky darkened, "Tessa," you called, her head popped out of the grass that was almost as tall as her and she looked in your way, before running towards you. She went past you and entered the house, you followed her and closed the double glass door and the curtains.
Tessa went to lie in her basket in the living room while you went into the kitchen, where Tom was preparing dinner.
"Hum, it smells good, what are you cooking?" You approached him to have a better view of what he was doing.
He looked up at you smiling. "It's a surprise."
"Is it almost ready? I don't want to complain but I think someone is very hungry." You say stroking your belly before going to sit on a chair. "And a little agitated today."
"He's probably looking forward to being next week so he can see his parents, especially his dad." Tom laughed as he put the plates on the table.
You huffed. "Or maybe he doesn't like the sudden change of weather." Tom kissed your forehead, still laughing, and took the dish out of the oven. He had cooked lasagna, your favorite dish, hoping you would like it.
He put the dish on the table and scratched the back of his neck, "Eh, I used my mom receipe but I don't know if I did it well, I hope you will like it, but please if it taste horribly don't tell her." You giggled as he sat next to you before serving you one part.
"I promise to not say it." You said, kissing his cheek gently before grabing your fork and tasting a small portion. Tom looked at you, waiting for you to tell him if you liked it.
"So?" He asked, not having touched his plate yet.
"Well..."
"Oh okay, I know, it's horrible. I'm sorry." He said, lowering his head, looking like a sad puppy.
"I'm just kidding you, babe. It's actually delicious." You couldn't hide your smile when he looked up at you, smiling, his whole face lighten up again.
"Really?"
"Yes", you said, in fact, it wasn’t really good but he had put all his heart to make them wanting to please you and you didn’t wanted him to be sad, so yes, eating a dish that wasn’t very good was not the worse and if that made him happy, it was worth it to suffer.
You took another bite, fake smiling at him, while Tom looked delighted. You hoped there was at least some chocolate for dessert.
But unfortunately, you didn't have chocolate, there was a cake in the fridge, but Tom said it was for tomorrow, that you would eat it when you would came back to his parents's house to celebrate father's day.
You mumbled to yourself while eating a yoghurt’s banana while at the same time Tom went to close the shutters outside before it started to rain. You putted a hand over your belly, "Don't worry baby, tonight we'll get a little piece of this cake when dad will be asleep." You whispered, caressing your swollen belly.
After closing the shutters Tom came back inside, he was a little wet, apparently he had already started to rain and he decided to go take a shower.
After finishing your yoghurt you came into the living room and laid down on the couch a few minutes before getting up again as you felt more contractions.
You decided to go upstairs and watch a movie in bed with Tom, as the storm seemed to be more violent and loudly but that didn't stopped Tom from falling asleep.
Around 11pm you left the bed discreetly, trying to not wake up Tom, you couldn't sleep because of the noisy sound of the storm and the contractions, and you were a little hungry.
Tessa who was sleeping down your bed woke up. She followed you downstairs. Stopping frequently when you were a little long, as if she wanted to check that you were still there and that you were okay.
Once in the kitchen, you turned on the light and saw Tessa rush to her bowl of water as you walked to the closet. You took out a plate and a fork and put them on the table before heading to the fridge.
As you went to open the fridge door you felt a liquid fall from your vagina. You stepped back and looked down, seeing a gush of clear fluid on the floor. You let out a brash sound, as panic started to invade you. "Tom!" You yelled.
"Tom!" You shouted again, your breathing speeding up as another contraction hitted you. You putted your hands on the counter for support, closing your eyes, doing the breathing exercises you learned trying to calm yourself a little.
With the sound of the storm he didn’t hear your calls, so Tessa rushed upstairs and jumped on the bed. She barked loudly, trying to wake up Tom and after a few seconds, he did.
"Uh, Tessa, what are you doing?" He said rubbing his eyes, he looked next to him and saw that your place was empty. He threw the sheets off his body and stood up. He was going to go in the bathroom, to see if you were there, but Tessa barked and he decided to follow her.
She ran into the kitchen where you were sitting on the floor, in agony.
Tom rushed to your side
"Oh my god, we need to get you to the hospital!" He says panicking, not knowing what to do.
"I-I don't think I will be able to get up and there a storm outside." You winced as another contraction hitted you, each contractions becoming more violent and longer.
You knew it was only a question of minutes before your baby was here. Tom got up and rushed to get the phone and a cushion that he placed under your head, while stroking your forehead.
He called the emergency and a woman answered, he tried to explain as best he could the situation. The woman on the other side of the line told him to calm down and explained that help couldn't come yet because of the storm, but that she would help him help you.
She gave him advice and explained how to proceed. He helped you as much as possible, following the woman's advice. You pushed, holding one of Tom's hands. He put the speaker on and the woman told you to stop the panic, as the babies were still usually in the ideal position head upside down while she speaked to you, Tom grabbed some towels.
You pushed, panting and sweating. Tom wiped the sweat from your forehead with a towel, still holding one of your hands.
"You can do it, you're amazing baby, he's almost there." He continues to say encouraging things, but you were too exhausted to hear everything as you continue to push.
Tom went to see how things were going and told you to push again. After a few seconds, you hear soft cries. Tom wrapped your baby in a towel and looked at him with pure adoration as tears ran down his cheeks. He went next to you and put your baby in your arms, as you started to sob.
He was so beautiful, you put a kiss on his temple, he whined softly before closing his eyes.
"You had a very exhausting first day, right baby." Tom said stroking his head, you both looked at him with pure admiration, not believing that you both created such a beautiful thing.
After the storm calmed down, the emergencies arrived and they took you with the baby to the hospital, Tom came with you, obviously. Both your vital and those of the baby were good and of course, Tom put a spider-man body on him that Nikki and Dom had taken with them when they came to see the baby.
His parents and brothers were all already in love with the baby. Tom looked at his son, named Tony, who was looking at all the faces around him in the hospital room curiously.
"I think it's the greatest gift I could have dreamed of for Father's Day." Tom said before kissing your son's forehead.

going dancing with peter parker
ok dude was so freaking scared to ask you out
he was sHaKiNG when he came up to you
and he's so considerate
and he knows you like dancing
so he asked you if you wanted to go with him
and you were so excited
so excited
so the day comes and peter is sweating!
ya boy is persperating!!!
but he's excited
and his hair looks so cute when he runs his fingers through it trying to fix it
you don't even care
so the music comes on and peter is like "i don't actually know how to dance i just asked you because i know you like it"
and your heart just melts
what a sweet boy
he's so cute
so you offer to teach him and he's stammering and everything but he agrees
so here you are on the dance floor
trying to get peter to put his hands on your waist
he's too nervous to do it
it takes time but he finally does
and you drape your arms around his shoulders
and you guys are just in an awkward waltz
but you're having fun
and peter is relaxing a little bit
until he accidentally steps on your foot
and he's like freaking the hell out
apologies are coming at you a mile a minute
and you're desperately trying to tell him it doesn't hurt
it kinda does though
only for a second!
but he looks on the verge of tears
and you're like you know what
fuck it
so you just tell peter he doesn't have to dance a specific way
he can just flail his arms around, it'll still be dancing
he's so confused
and you're like look and you just start wiggling and kicking your legs
and he's fucking bewildered
but he laughs
and eventually he joins you
now you're having the real fun
you guys don't stay out too late
now that may knows peter is spider-man if he's out even 2 seconds past his curfew she'll have a panic attack
you walk him home because your curfew is later than his
may is v v paranoid
and he makes a joke about switching up such a basic cliche
and it's cute
he's still sweating, but now it's because of all the flapping around dancing you guys did
before he goes in he goes "you wanna do this again?"
and he just looks so adorable
he's tired
anyway
he asks if you want to go dancing again
and you're like of course?????
you would dance with him until your arms and legs fell of!
but you didn't say that
you said sure
but he walked in
and apparently may was stalking him because she goes "you two are dating now?"
and he gets all flustered and goes into his room with out answering
@alittlebitfrosty i hope you like it!

Only-part four
prologue part one part two part three part four
dad! Tom Holland x OC
only masterlist
my masterlist
Summary: Tom was living his dream as a rising star in Hollywood for the past six years. Even though it was everything he ever wanted he missed everything that he left behind. His family back in London. His best friend who’s career had also taken off and though they were roomates they never had time for one another. His first love that was torn apart by a dumbass decision. He wished he could take it all back. All the stupid decisions he made in the past that could have been the other way around if he choose the right choice. What happens when he wakes up one day in the life he should have chosen?
warnings: more confusion, a little bit of anger, angst, sad Blythe, blood, mentions of cancer and death, mentions of cheating, a small implication of mental illness but nothing major, overwhelmed Tom (I mean that isn't exactly new)

Tom keeping his word was word about letting the moment lasted as quickly as it came deteriorating due to Harrison who was giving him a hard stare throughout breakfast. Tom guessed he thought it would make him give away he wasn’t who they thought he was. Secrets have never been Tom’s strong suit. Marvel could hardly trust him with spoilers so why should he trust himself with this.
Xio noticed Harrison’s behavior. She stood up clearing her throat, “Babe.”
Harrison made his look soften when making eye contact with his wife,“Yeah.”
She gave him a fake smile, “Can I talk with you for a moment.”
Harrison nodded standing up and following her into the other room. He looked back at Tom nervously before walking into the room, closing the door behind him. Tom’s heart pounded as he stared at the door as if a bomb was about to go off inside of it and it quite literally might with a now pregnant Xiomara.
“Daddy?”
Tom jumped a little taking his focus away from the door and down to the little girl sitting next to him. “Hmm,” he hummed.
“Are you going to eat your strawberries?” She looked up at him with pleading eyes.
Lennon let out a little laugh, “You can have mine. It’s your father’s birthday you can at least let him eat his favorite fruit.” She passed the bowl of fruit to her daughter, “Avoid the blueberries though.”
Tom scrunched his eyebrows at the last part of Lennon’s comment before quickly brushing it off, “No it’s fine. I don’t mind anyways.” He took his spoon scooping the berries onto Blythe plate looking every so often at the door Xiomara and Harrison were behind wondered if she figured something out or not.
“I don’t think staring at it will make their conversation go any faster,” Lennon said as she gave Elian a spoon full of baby rice whipping his face off with a napkin to catch the excess food.
Tom but his lips slightly trying to make conversation less awkward but didn’t help with him cursing himself for not knowing what to say. Instead he just watched her as she helped her son, their son, eat. When she gave him one last spoon full of the rice she placed the bowl down catching eye contact with Tom. He could tell that she knew he felt uneasy about something. Hell, who could blame her, he's been a mess all morning.
“Why have you been acting so weird,” she asked bluntly raising her eyebrows waiting for him to answer.
He made sure not to looked shocked before answering, “I- uh- I-I.” The door clicked making the both of them snap their head towards the couple. Harrison had a look of relief and regret on his face fooled by Xio  who looked at Tom widening her eyes a little making him look straight at Harrison. He knew that Harrison fucked up, but that meant that he had to hope she wouldn’t tell her best friend. But the words that came out Xiomara’s mouth were definitely unexpected, “I think that it would be a great idea if Tom and I had a little bonding on the way to Nikki and Dom’s. You know godfather things.”
Lennon’s face scrunched up in confusion and looked in between the three adults before looking back at her best friend, “Just last week you told me the only reason you were just now on decently tolerable terms with him. Now it doesn’t mean not being able to stand being in the room with just the two of you I don’t know what does.”
“Okay, one,” Xiomara held up her finger, “That’s not what I meant your a writer you should know what I mean by saying that.” Lennon only gave her a more confused look and Xio pressed her lips together, “And two…” she trailed off looking at Tom with her face screaming what the hell.
“Xio thought it’d be good if I ride with Blythe and Elian. You know because they can’t get enough of Uncle Haz,” Harrison explained walking over to Blythe crouching down beside her smiling making her let out a giggle.
“Why can’t you just go with Tom and I go with Xio?” Lennon looked overwhelmed slightly by the sudden awkwardness throughout the room. Tom knew Lennon was bound to figure something out sooner or later. She was just too damn smart and it was like that when they were younger too. Tom has made some pretty bad decisions in his life and covering them up wasn’t really his forte. He wants to tell her everything not having to live with the consequences but this wasn’t a perfect world and his normal self isn’t exactly as great as the Tom she knows.
“Lennon, just agree with the new plan and talk to your husband about it later we really don’t have time for this,” Xio said acting annoyed giving Tom a hurry your ass up look.
Lennon picked up Elian from his high chair and watched her friend brought her dishes from the table scrapping access food into the trash can. She looked at Tom and Harrison for answers but only to see them both shrug. “Xio, what do you expect me to do when you throw it on me last minute.”
“You’ll figure it out. Haz isn’t that bad, right bud?” Xiomara asked as she washed the plates off before putting them in the dishwasher.
“Better than you,” he replied jokingly as he picked up the leftovers from the table putting them in glass containers and placing them into the fridge.
The Latina let out an annoyed huff as if she was irritated with her husband making Lennon and Tom laugh exchanging glances. Lennon just shook her head rolling her eyes, “I guess he’s not wrong.”
“Hey, you’re supposed to be my best friend,” Xiomara said raising an eyebrow putting the last dish in the dishwasher.
The brunette shrugged at her friend, “I am, but sometimes you tend to be a witch.”
Tom snorted at his wife’s cover up to calling her friend one thing but really meaning something entirely different. Harrison elbowed him making Tom looks over at him with an oh-come-on look.
“Well let me go get some flying monkeys while I’m at,” Xio commented throwing her hands up as she continued clearing the table. She walked passed Tom whispering, “Got any ruby slippers.”
“Okay,” Harrison said picking up Blythe after putting the last of the leftovers in the fridge, “I think it’s time to head to the Holland’s. What do you say Blythe?”
Blythe shrugged before brushing her fly away curls out of her face, “Only if I get to listen to Trolls.”
“You mean if we listen to trolls,” Harrison asked raising his eyebrows tickling a spot behind her left ear making Blythe burst into a little squill and bursting into another giggle. She continued her childish laugh through the house as harrison carried her out the door and it quickly fading after he opened the door to his front yard.
Blythe followed after him with Elian chewing on a teething toy. She turned glanced back at the both of them shaking her head smiling softly and then continued to head through the door. When it shut Tom looked at Xiomara who had a devilish smirk on her face. It was one you would see on a sibling before they were about to do some to get you in trouble.
Tom gulped, hard, and didn’t try to hide his fear of the woman standing in front of him because he knew she didn’t take bullshit from anyone. His heartbeat was a little too fast due to where his ears were pouding and he had a little bit of a headache. The tension seemed nonexistent to her and that’s what scared him even more so he tried to be the icebreaker to his own edge, “So, um... we should go before the cake is gone.”
She rolled her eyes, “You’re the birthday boy Holland. Now you and I have quit the drive ahead of us.”
Xio was right, the drive was excruciatingly long. It consisted of her rambling in both english and spanish asking more questions than Harrison did about the whole ordeal. He was surprised she didn’t burst into labor from the amount of energy she was using just to talk to him. “So you’re telling me that you just up and left her without even going back.”
“That’s what leaving a significant other tends to mean.” Tom’s said that rather bluntly and it didn’t look like she liked it. “I can tell you know what that’s like. I remember you were about to be engaged… Nora.”
Xio pressed her lips together, “Close, Nara.”
“You don’t have to tell me you know,” he paused, ”It’s hard as it is seeing Lennon again and talking about her was even worse after we broke things off.”
She shook her head shifting in her seat a little bit gripping the wheel a little tighter, “No, it’s fine.”
“So, what happened,” he asked calmly and trying not to make her feel pressured into telling him something as personal as how she ended things with her ex-partner.
“We,” she cleared her throat, “broke things off a year after Lennon and… Tom number one.”
Tom laughed, “Tom number one?”
“Look asshole you're the one who wanted to hear the story,” she stated clearly annoyed.
Tom sighed apologetics, “Sorry, go on.”
“Well, we decided to break things off because our relationship took a down fall when her mother and father separated,” she took a long pause, “Her father was cheating on her mother for ten years with his PA. I suggested we’d take a break. I loved her but she didn’t need me. Yes, most people would say that they should have been there but I knew that she needed time to heal and her mental health was slowly decreasing after she found out. It was hard to see her fall apart so quickly.” Xio’s breath hitched and she bit her lip looking at Tom when she came to a stop at the intersection, “She was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer not long after that which is the worst one. It was hard because she had already gone through so much pain and then she had to take on even more. She was in stage three when she found out and she died six months later.” Tom looked at her sympathetically . A tear rolled down her cheek but she wiped it away quickly, “Lennon had Blythe and you to worry about and she was still there for me when I needed her. Harrison was stubborn enough not to leave me alone and you can guess what happened in the years that followed.”
“Yeah, I never thought you two would get together,” Tom said, letting out a laugh, “I Harrison would have never settled down if I’m being honest.”
“Neither of you expected it when we told you two,” she said looking at him again smiling dreamily. Tom can admit she was very different than what he could remember despite the fact she is pregnant. She was more genuine and seemed more laid back. She had more of a happier persona, a positive attitude you would say. She was generally happy and that made Tom see be happy for his best friend. She didn’t have to tell him that Harrison changed her because everything Tom knew about Xio and his best friend was they were both better people because of each other.
It made Tom wonder what else was affected by him coming back to Lennon. It made him question whether or not that his family was the same. Were his brothers affected by his decision? Was anything he did during his career different?
The thought made him wonder and slightly anxious to get to the planned party for him. He noticed that Xiomara pulled into the same street he grew up on making Tom feel a little more confident about making it through the party. Having something as familiar as his childhood home. It made him happy that his family was still close to him and that was something he lacked before. His brothers and him went their separate ways. They still kept in contact, of course, but they weren’t able to make time for each other.
“Okay moviestar,” she said snapping tom out of his thoughts as she was pulling into the driveway that had cars parked down the block for his party. He was happy because it wasn’t a surprise party and even if his health was at its peak he would have a heart attack or die of shock. She put the car into park, “I think it’s time to celebrate your birthday.”He nodded clicking his seat belt off opening the door taking in the two story townhouse that was active with life and had people coming in and out of the front door. He shut the door on and Xiomara passed by him swiftly, “We are already late and we don’t more attention as is Tom two.”
He trailed behind her like a lost puppy as she opened the front door.
Walking in he was met with the scent of lemon probably from his mother's dust cleaners that she used earlier that day mixed in with the floral smell of the glade sprayer sitting on the dresser. The sound of music from the speaker in the backyard filled the house with base. Tom was hit with nostalgia, but it was nothing new because thats what happened every time he came to his parents’ house.
The music got louder as they both approached the backyard. Tom could see Lennon with a cup in her hand talking to sam who had shorter hair than the sam he knew and had raven haired girl standing next to him. Tom’s gaze shifted towards the girls left hand that was holding her beer bottle that had a simple engagement ring on it. They didn’t see him walk through the door but he heard the familiar voice of his mother, “Tom, darling, what took you so long. Lennon told me that you road here with Xiomara.” She looked back at Harrison’s wife as she walked, more like wabbled, over to her husband.
Tom tensed up slightly. Lying to his mother was a hard thing to do, especially when she could read him, because after all she did raise him. He straightened his posture a little before clearing his throat, “I had to run by Lennon and I’s place really quick and Harrison offered to help her with Blythe and Elian.”
She looked at him tilting her head a little at Tom using his son’s first name making him panic a little. Nikki quickly brushed it off though, “Well, we have waiting for you all to show up and it’s hard to have a birthday party without the guest of honor.” She walked into the house probably getting some sort of appetizer she had in the oven leaving Tom standing by himself yet again.
He put his hands in his pockets approaching his wife and Sam earning a smirk from him, “Well look what the cat dragged in.” “Very funny Sam,” Tom said rolling his eyes, “Too bad you didn’t follow in dad’s footsteps.”
“Bugger, you're right I missed a major opportunity,” He took a sip of his beer, “Speaking of comedy Lennon was just telling us that you are all going to california for Spiderman. Any big plans?”
Tom pressed his lips together tilting his head to side narrowing his eyes while nodding. He looked at Lennon then back to his brother and his fiancé. He shrugged, “You know just the usual. Press and maybe going to the beach.”
“Blythe doesn’t know this yet but we are going to Disneyland for her birthday. Way to hide surprise I’m proud,” Lennon said as she wrapped her arms around his making him flinch a little bit.
“It’s not like its easy for him or anything,” Sam’s girl said. She was american, southern sort of, and her ethnicity was something of asian decent. He wasn’t going to say she wasn’t pretty because she was. It made him want to ask so many questions about the two of them but he couldn’t for obvious reasons.
“Awe, come on Rey give him a break he hasn’t told us what’s going to happen in Spiderman,” Sam's voice was laced with reassurance to tom smiling slightly, “You’ve gotten better big brother.”
Rey hummed, “Don’t worry Tom I won’t be as harsh because it’s your birthday.”
Tom let out a fake laugh, “Okay get it out of your system now. You might want to tell Harry that too.”
“Tell me what,” a deep voice asked from behind Tom making him turn around seeing his other younger brother with his usual camera around his neck.
He walked up next to Tom, “It’s because I’m the only one that doesn’t have a girlfriend.” Rey laughed, “Harry your the only one that hasn’t had a girlfriend.”
“Says the girl who’s dated one other person other than Sam,” Harry shoot back jokingly.
“I’ve dated two more than you have,” she said taking another sip of her beer.
“Okay, you know what Tom and I are going to check on Nikki,” Lennon said gripping Tom’s arm a little bit more than before and trailing her hand down his arm causing Tom to take his hand out of his pocket and intertwined his fingers with hers. The jester made Tom’s stomach form butterflies like he was an awkward teen again. It was more romantic than anything else and it made him feel like he was in a dream more than ever.
He looked at her smiling before nodding and looked back at his brothers and Rey, “Sounds good.”
They both walked off with Lennon leading Tom inside the house to the kitchen area where Nikki was. She had a casserole dish on the stove and was mixing some non alcoholic punch. She looked up and smiled at the two of them, “Well, I’m glad you two found each other.”
“You know he couldn’t get away from me even if he tried,” Lennon said placing her free hand on his forearm.
“Now why on earth would I do that, darling.” The sentence came out a little too naturally for Tom and he shocked himself. He won’t leave her it’s one hundred percent true, but didn’t know if he could prevent it from happening. He loved her still and he didn’t want to go back.
She smiled again kissing his cheek making his face heat up slightly. She let go of his hand walking over to Nikki and Tom could feel the warmth leave. “Is there anything you need us to do?”
“Well, you can save me the trip of bringing the dish on the stove out and get the plates as well,” Nikking grabbed the pitcher of punch patting Lennon on the back.
“Of course we can do that,” she said as Nikki walked past her and Tom to the front porch.
“Thomas dear,” Nikki turned and Tom let out a hum, “Could you cut up the kiwis and put them on the fruit tray that's in the icebox?”
“Of course mum,” he answered, turning his head. He turned back to Lennon who was grabbing  the paper plates from the top cabinet. Tom went to the fridge grabbing the container that held the kiwi and placing it on the counter. He grabbed the cutting board and knife hearing Lennon taking the wrapper off of the plates. He turned looking at her then went back to his task. He soon after felt two arms wrap around his waist and he froze.
“You don’t have to stop Tommy,” she said laughing. She kissed his shoulder making him gulp and a guilty feeling forming in his stomach. Even though Tom still loved her he didn’t want to take advantage of the situation. It made him panic but he hid it trying to not give in biting his bottom lip while he put the knife down letting out a deep breath. She shifted over to his side with her arm resting on his lower back turning him to face her.
She smiled up at him resting her hand on his cheek, “You know, I never gave you a kiss today.”
He gulped again, “Well, uh… I’ve had a lot on my mind today.”
“Oh really,” Lennon tilted her head, “‘bout what exactly.” She bit her lip slightly leaning in, well up, making the gap between them a little shorter.
“A-a lot of things,” Tom managed to stutter out as his heart pounded a little more.
“Well,” she breathed leaning in a little more, “Maybe I can take some of those… things off of your mind.” Tom’s breath hitched more and a bit of fear came over him. He couldn’t pull away or turn her down. His mind went to acting like he was teasing her by not kissing her, which made him feel even worse because that was basically another lie. He could also act like a sudden wave of sickness went over him making him have to retreat to the bathroom for a panic attack that was going to happen then and there. The room became hot and Tom could feel the anxiety bubble up inside of him.
All of this happened within a blissful moment of him staring at Lennon, the lost love of his life. He could act like it was normal for him and not think that she was something that came back into his life earlier that morning. He could shake the thought of him maybe waking up to the same life he lived all those years without her the next morning. The air was stiff and the tension wasn’t the sexual or comfortable time. She was probably reading his movements and posture completely different because she still didn’t know anything and that’s what killed Tom the most. The way her big brown eyes stared at him with the love he didn’t deserve and the familiarity mixed with comfort of knowing him, the other him, for so long. The way her eyelashes fluttered reading more than a sweet kiss. More than a gesture of romantic bliss that leads to something much more intimate. It was something Tom thought he wouldn’t have to deal with until later that night.
The moment felt like hours to Tom but it was only a mere twenty seconds in all. His arm slowly wrapped around her waist resting on her hip gently breathing in her scent that was mixed with baby powder and the floral perfume she wore when he knew her, you know before he was a dick to her and broke her heart.
That’s what scared him the most, telling her the truth. About how her completely ditch her after the fight not even giving her a phone call, or sending a text. That’s what made it so hard to stand in front of her right now acting like he didn't do anything to her, but he did and he regretted every fleeting moment he was around her since the moment he woke up realizing he was giving a chance to be with her again.
The speed his thoughts were going was almost too much for him to keep his composer. It was going to be just a kiss, nothing more, nothing less. Just a kiss. A kiss shared with the love of his life and someone he thought about often. Someone that he was lying to. Someone who loved him equally as much if not more. Someone he’s known forever and has been the reason for so much happiness in his life.
Just as he was about to lean in and finally kiss her. Just as he was about to do something he was going to regret. Just as he was going to lean in and put his lips on his the universe sent a sign, well, it sent Blyth. The voice of Blythe. Letting out a cry running into the house. Her face had a little scratch and there were tears streaming down her face. As soon as Tom heard her cry, “Mummy!”
His whole mood changed. The air became more comfortable and the distance between him and Lennon were further apart. It made his panic nonexistent and his anxiety dile down tremendously. Tom let out a deep breath of air as Lennon turned toward the curly hair five-year-old who was crying a little louder than when she walked through the door, “What wrong bird, what happened?” She went down to the little girls eye level taking a cloth from the counter whipping away the tears mixed with very snot and sweat.
Blyth whimpered and her breath was uneven, “I-I-I-I was playing with Tes...” She let out another sniff and Lennon hummed as the girl continued, “A-and I-I tripped…” She let out another cry holding out her leg lifting her skirt showing her mother the cut right below her knee that had blood dripping down her leg, “A-a-and-d I-I f-fell on t-to the rock-k-s-s. A-an-nd-d I-”
She burst into more tears.
Tom gave the girl and Lennon a sympathetic look slightly wishing the universe didn’t help him like this. It alarmed him slightly how much Blythe was crying about a cute and it made him have a sense of protectiveness. He felt awkward just staring at the two of them and he squatted down next to Lennon lifting his hand brushing the curls that had fallen in front of her face.
“You wait here with her I’m gonna go get the first aid kit,” Lennon said standing back up putting the cloth down walking away from Tom and Blythe.
Tom let out another sigh looking back at the little girl in front of him who was a little more calm. She let out another small cry, “It hurts.”
“I know, but next time you need to be more careful, yeah,” he raised his eyebrows and she nodded in response looking down avoiding eye contact. What was he supposed to say. His first instinct was to comfort her and that wasn’t exactly something he knew how to do. In fact he had no idea how to act. He knew he couldn’t curse or do anything that would hurt her more which made him feel even more stupid for thinking of that because it was a given. All he could think of to do was just reassure her saying things like, “it’s gonna be okay,” to “you have nothing to worry about.”
Lennon came back moments later with the kit in one hand and a hydrogen peroxide bottle in the other. She sat in front of the girl again, “Can you lift your skirt a little Blythe so I can see how bad it is?” The young girl nodded bunching up the green fabric and pulling it up a little above her knee revealing the source of the blood. Lennon let out a sigh of relief, “It’s on her shin that’s why it bleeding so much. Don’t worry little bird you're going to be okay.”
As Tom watched Lennon tend to Blythe the moment they shared before never left his mind. He wanted it to happen again, yes, but he never wanted to feel the way his chest clenched from the guilt and fear that was bubbling up inside of him. Thought made him hope it could happen when he wasn’t lying to her face and making her think he was someone he wasn’t. All he wanted was for her to forgive him and accept the mistakes he made. It made the thought of the rest of the day go through his mind and he told himself to take on one challenge at a time. Not wanting to lie to himself and think that there was nothing to panic about because thats all he could think about, what was going to happen next.

Fluffy dad!tom trying to bake cookies following a youtube tutorial but failing?
<3
Calla giggles as her father curses, dragging a tray of black chocolate chip cookies from the oven,
"Did it not say eight to ten minutes Cal?" He asks her. She giggles again, "We still have…" He clicks onto the timer setting on the microwave which blinks four zeros back at him, "Well… if daddy'd set it right, I suppose they would've been out by now." He murmurs.
Picking one up, he admires it, holding it out to the little brunette babe sat on the counter, her feet swinging gently,
"You wanna try one Cal?" He asks. She shakes her head and crinkled her nose,
"No daddy. They're burned!"
"Ahh, I think we could still salvage them love. Think mummy'll want one?" Your little girl shakes her head. Tom sighs. So far, he's had to try three different batches now. The first, they'd added double the sugar, the second, they'd left out the flour so the cookies never rose, and now he'd burned the third batch. He sighs again as he tosses the ruined batch out, leaning on the counter beside Calla,
"So… that's three… I'm telling you what Cal, if this lady on YouTube can't teach me, I don't know what to do. Do I even attempt to make a fourth?" He asks. She reaches out and plays with the chain around his neck like she always does, his hand coming up to stroke her curls down,
"This is why we let mumma or Uncle Sammy cook. They're much better at this than I am." Scooping her up, Calla holds Tom's neck, "I'm better at keeping you entertained sweet thing. Huh? I'm better at putting the perfect dress on Barbie for her and Ken's date huh?" He tickles her, making her giggle again before she lays her head against his shoulder. He holds her against him, climbing the stairs slowly and safely, his heart hurting at how big his little girl is getting.

Your Fault
Tom glared at the small bulldog laying in front of you both as The Lion King played on the tv. You looked up at Tom sighing “I don’t get why you’re so mad at her.”
Tom looked down to his side at you “Why I’m so mad, she bit me Y/N. She fucking bit me.” you left his side, sitting up to look at his face that held a pout “Tom I warned you not to take the Panda toy away from her and what did you do?”
“I took the toy”
“Yes Tom, yes you did so you had to face the consequence and at this point it’s your fault.”
You got up from your spot beside Tom, bending down to pick up the puppy, going to sit on the smaller couch, leaving tom alone on the other in his huff

Filippo stays for the night and Tom wants him in his bed and the kiss again, and in the morning they talk about it???
I am so here for this!
Wanna see more of these boys? Send an ask and let us continue this au!!
____________________________
For once, Tom was not the one tired out of his mind. He was still happily cleaning up the room, putting away all of Chris’ toys, while Filippo sat on the couch, sunk back almost ready to melt away into a puddle on the ground.
While putting away the building blocks, Tom couldn’t help but look around every now and then. Filippo looked so… peaceful. After a very hectic day, he just had this serene aura around him. The soft sweater that Tom had lend him once, was hanging loose off his shoulders. Filippo was slightly taller than Tom, but he was also much lankier. So clothes that fitted Tom, were the ones in which Filippo could drown in.
He looked so soft. A sweater-pawed fist under his cheek, holding up his face. Very close to falling off his knuckles and hitting the armrest of the sofa. His eyes were heavy. Closing every now and then. Every time opening with more and more resistance. Eventually, they didn’t open anymore. Very small snores escaped him.
Even though he was supposed to be cleaning up, Tom found himself watching his best friend sleep from the other side of the room. He didn’t mean to, but one look and he couldn’t pull away. All he wanted to do was tuck him in under a blanket.
But then the inevitable happened and Filippo’s cheek slipped from his hand and fell. He woke up as his temple his the hard material of the sofa. His eyes opened in shock and he groaned in pain. This undid whatever spell had been put on Tom. He shook his head and turned around, pretending like nothing happened as he continued to fill the box with his son’s toys.
“Do you need help?” he heard Filippo ask from the couch. His voice deep and croaky, full of sleep. Tom closed his eyes for three seconds before answering.
“Nah, I’m good, mate. Almost finished.” In fact, as he said it, he put the last toy in the treasure chest and pushed it back against the wall. Only thing left was the cups and plates on the table but these too were taken care of quickly.
“You wanna crash here?” Tom pointed at the couch. Filippo had his eyes closed already so he couldn’t see where Tom was pointing, or even that he was pointing at something in the first place, but he still nodded his head slowly.
“Let me pull out the couch then at least for you so you don’t have to be all curled in on yourself. C’mon, get up, you spaghetti freak.” It was a strange nickname Tom had started to call Filippo a few years ago. It made sense, but really just to them. In Tom’s mind, Filippo was a spaghetti freak because of his length, and how usually he was straight and stiff, but also surprisingly bendy if willing. The times that they were on a train or airplane and Filippo still had made himself comfortable in the tiny seats was unbelievable.
Filippo lazily and weakly put up his arm into the air, ready for Tom to grab and pull. He, of course, did so with a roll of the eyes. A groan later and Filippo was standing up.
Tom bend down to pull out the other half of the couch. One. Two. Three. and it was now a bed.
“Let me grab you something to cover up.” and a minute later he had returned with a pillow from his room and a blanket from the cupboard. In that time, Filippo had already made himself somewhat comfortable. Having taken off the sweater to now be sitting on the bed in only sweatpants. Tom wasn’t sure why but he froze in the doorway to the living room.
He had seen his friend shirtless countless times, yet this was very different than any time at the gym, pool, beach or whenever it was.
“Right, here you go.” He threw the pillow and blanket at him.
“Thanks.”
Tom watched Filippo make himself even more comfortable, fluffing the pillow. After a few seconds, he realized, however, how weird it was to watch his best friend like he was, so he concentrated on the tv that was still playing a movie, muted.
“For god’s sake, Tom, just get over here and let’s watch the damn movie.”
“What are you- what are you talking about?” Why was he flustered? He didn’t understand what was happening to him. Suddenly, he couldn’t think straight anymore. Yes, he wanted to join him on the couch, maybe even put his head on his shoulder. Run his fingers through his dark hair… but he should be going to bed. Yes. Bed. Now.
“You’ve been standing there like an idiot, watching that darn tv, just come here already.” His brain was still saying don’t, but Tom walked to the pulled out couch anyway. He sunk into the cushions next to Filippo, who had his arm stretched over the backrest.
At first, they sat at both ends of the couch. Filippo reached for the remote on the table and Tom was pretty sure that when he sat back down, his friend was sitting a bit closer than before. So it went on and on. They finished the movie. And after that, the next one. And by the time the picked the third one, they were basically sitting on top of each other.
Not that either of them noticed.
It was already a long time past midnight. The third movie only vague noise and moving pictures. Both of them were too tired to comprehend what was happening around them. Maybe it was that hazed and sleepy state, in which they didn’t notice that before both of them fell asleep, they shared yet another kiss.
It was a shortcoming of a miracle that neither of them realized what was happening. It just felt so natural, that it wasn’t a shock. Filippo’s cheek was the place where Tom’s were supposed to be. It was a natural instinct for Filippo to grab onto Tom’s shirt. Their lips patched perfectly as the kiss continued.
It was right.
It was meant to be.
It was… something they wouldn’t remember the morning after. Just a sweet dream that would not go unnoticed anymore.
The End

you and me [T.H] — Instructions Not Included AU
dad!Tom Holland x OC
Summary: Tom has made a new life for himself and the daughter left on his doorstep 6 years ago, but finds his family threatened when the birth mother resurfaces.
Warnings: Swearing, mentions of sex, drinking, and death. :(
A/N: I want to apologize for taking forever to put any material out, but ya girl has been through the wringer. Also, like...with everything that happened... I was just discouraged to even put anything out but, I figured if I was still reading material on here there might be some others seeking something.
Word Count: 705 (short I know yeet)
The first thing Tom did once he realized the severity of the situation was run straight to the people he knew he could count on for anything.
Nikki and Dom were shocked at the news of having a granddaughter. Something neither of them expected to come from Tom so early, especially given the fact that he was barely starting his acting career and well... his promiscuous behavior.
They, like Tom, were skeptical of the baby actually being his, so they accompanied him to a very discreet doctors visit. The three of them all anxiously sat in uncomfortable chairs in the wee hours of the morning. The baby whom Tom had not even known her name, was being rocked gently in his arms after fussing in both Nikki’s and Dom’s.
They all rose when the doctor returned, sheets of papers on a clipboard that were being flipped through.
“Congratulations Mr. Holland, she shares more than 50 percent of your DNA.” Dr. Connors smiled softly.
Tom didn’t know what to do but, as his parents spoke to Dr. Connors about keeping the visit and information from leaking, his eyes ran across the baby’s features. She was beautiful, and he began to see similarities to his youngest sibling paddy, freckles lightly dusting her face, a broad smile that reached her eyes. Tom felt his heart soar, he wasn’t ready to be a father.
However, the longer he held that baby girl in his arms the more her warmth calmed him, her eyes were captivating, and he was sure she already had him wrapped around his finger.
Tom sat in his wardrobe as Lauryn played with a necklace on the couch in his trailer. “Dad. It’s time to go.”
Tom smiled and looked up, finding her in the mirror. “I’m almost ready Laur.”
“Why do you always take your time on the last day? Are you nervous?”
Tom let out a raspberry, “I’m not nervous, I’m concentrating.”
Lauryn looked up at him, “What’s that?”
“Thinking. To concentrate is to think.”
“And you use your brain to concentrate?”
“Correct bug.”
Three knocks interrupted their conversation. “Tom...? Where’s your daddy sweetheart?” Harrison asked, blocked from seeing Tom’s figure approaching.
Lauryn smiled, “He’s concentrating!”
Haz chuckled, “OK Laur, how about you go take your seat please.”
Lauryn jumped off the couch and high fived Harrison as she hopped from the steps of the trailer, Tom now in Harrison’s view. “Ready to finish it mate?”
Tom scoffed, “You know I hate having to drag her to America away from everyone.”
Haz nodded, “Yeah, let’s get a move on. Head back home.”
It didn’t take long for the last scene to get over with. Of course, Tom had been nervous, but he used it to his advantage. Every so often catching a glimpse of Lauryn watching with awestruck as he became someone else.
As they wrapped up the scene, the director yelling cut everybody cheered. Glad to have gotten all the scenes done and ready for editing. Tom, Lauryn, and Harrison all walking back to Tom’s trailer for the last time, itching to be back home after filming for months.
Once inside the trailer, Lauryn bolted for the bedroom where she climbed on top of the bed and jumped. Harrison smiled as he and Tom sat on the couch. Tom let out a deep sigh, the relief he felt from no longer having to worry about waking up early and staying late to finish scenes, and the thought of being home with his family and Lauryn going off to school was pure happiness.
“Ready to go home bug?” Tom asked as he glanced in Lauryn’s direction
“Yes!Yes, yes. I wanna see uncle Pads and Tessa.” Lauryn nodded as she began to breathe slowly, the jumping tiring her out.
“Just Paddy and Tess? What about Nan and Pops? Uncle Harry and Sam?” Tom crossed his arms behind his head.
Lauryn bounced a few times more before jumping off the mattress. Running and landing on Tom, her legs kicking Harrison. “Everyone! ‘M gonna see everyone!”
The two men laugh in sync as they enjoy Lauryn’s attitude. Tom brushed the strands of hair out of her eyes as he spoke, “Well then we need to start packing.”

babyevans Happy one year to the love of my life, Thomas Stanley Holland. To many our relationship has been too fast, making it official the day we met, moving in together after four months, Clayton calling you daddy before I even told you I love you. Thank you for sticking with me through thick and thin, for loving me when I didn’t even love myself, and most importantly, being the father I always dreamed Clay would have. I have so much more to say, but I’ll save the rest for tonight in person. Happy anniversary my love, here’s to many more.

You know how you cut open a watermelon, scoop out the insides and throw away the outside? Marvel did that to me, except they threw out the good stuff and just left a blubbering shell.

"Men, this is a joke, right?" Torso in the air without a shirt and a half-finished chest tattoo. "You can't leave it like this."
The tattooist tried to avoid laughing knowing himself that it would stay that way, at least for another day. He removed the black silicone gloves that decorated his hands, showing a large and damaged pair.
Around his nails, the flesh was bloody due to a nervous habit that he had developed. The black ink that adorned the back of his hands was matching the clothes he was wearing. Tight black pants and a thin black T-shirt that was mostly covered by a black raincoat that sheltered his body, offering a desiring and grateful warmth.
"Sorry mate." Tom let one of his damaged hands caress his own curly hair. Making a mental note to cut it, because it had grown more than he thought. "But I have a very special girl waiting for me and I wouldn’t like to be late."
Tom wasn’t lying. A very special girl was waiting for the tattooed boy to pick her up. And who was Tom to be late?
-
He smiled as he gripped the steering wheel of the car with a little more force. Enthusiasm ran through his body and the desire to see that special girl was getting stronger as he got closer to his destination. His special girl.
Tom parked his familiar Audi, ready to be reunited with his little girl. His confident way of walking caused many heads to turn to see the young man.
He had become used to being surrounded by women every day as he rarely saw men coming to pick up their children, women always being the ones who did such a task.
"Daddy!" Tom's heart beat loudly at the voice that pronounced that word with a hint of honey. As if it was routine, he kneeled down, not caring about his black jeans getting dirty.
Small arms encircled his neck, squeezing him tightly. Tom got up from the floor with the little girl still in his arms. "I missed you, Dad." Her small nose was against her father's tattooed neck, smiling at the familiar smell that made her feel safe.
He adjusted the little girl in his arms, caressing the brown curls that decorated her head and that she had inherited from him, telling her how much he had missed her. "Me too, my love."
Skye parted her face from her father's neck, her tiny hands caressing the lines of the three roses that decorated his entire throat. Tom took some time to admire his baby, sighing as he felt that even the cold London wind couldn’t remove the warmth his body felt when Skye was next to him.
Her blue eyes shone on their own as if she had millions of stars locked in them and Tom realized that Skye was a name that went perfectly with the curious 4-year-old girl whom he had the pleasure of calling his daughter.
"Should we go home?" His lips brushed the little girl's forehead, who quickly nodded at the question, causing her forehead to collide with her father's chin. "Ouch!" Tom complained dramatically, looking at the girl with a pout.
Skye laughed, her eyes closing a little at such action and a gummy smile that melted Tom's heart. Her hands moved from his neck to his cheeks to be able to give her dad a little peck on the lips.
Tom opened the back door of his car, leaving the yellow backpack on the side farthest to him and arranging Skye in her car seat. His tongue wetted his lips as he was concentrated while arranging the belt.
With one last kiss on the little girl's forehead, he went to the driver's seat, closing the door quickly and turning on the heater, hoping that the inside of the car would get warm before they got home.
"Will Uncle Harrison be home tonight?" Her short legs moved up and down as she hummed a new song that Mrs John had taught them today.
Skye loved Mrs John because she reminded her of her grandmother. The lady was a woman not too old that always made children feel at home.
The first time that Skye entered that school she felt a great fear because she was always a very shy girl. But Mrs John always managed to make her smile and taught her many songs that she later sang to her father, Uncle Harrison, Tessa and even the man who worked with her dad in the tattoo shop.
Tom laughed. "Of course he will be there, my love." He looked for a second in the rearview mirror, quickly looking back at the road. "When isn't Uncle Harrison home?"
Harrison was a great friend of Tom who had always been there for him, especially in complicated situations like when Tom decided to drop out of university and set up his own shop, or especially when the little Skye came to this world and her mother decided to leave the picture.
His mouth tensed a little, more than usual, and he quickly tried to erase the thoughts of that woman from his mind.
She nodded her head, continuing with her new song, trying to remember the lyrics perfectly and then teach it to others. "Have you given Tessa her treat?" Her eyes opened as much as possible knowing that her father had probably forgotten to give her the treat.
Tom bit his bottom lip. "You're doing that!" Skye complained. "That means you haven't given Tess anything!" The little girl crossed her arms because she felt sad at Tessa's thoughts.
Tessa was a blue staffy who had been there since Skye's birth. She loved the dog because both were sisters of mischief and naps. Skye said that Tessa was too good and for that she deserved to receive a treat every day. Also, it was good for her teeth.
"I'm so sorry princess." He was silent for a few seconds while concentrating on parking the car correctly. Getting out of it and grabbing the keys and his phone.
After grabbing Skye in his arms and her backpack, they both started walking towards the warmth of their house, Tom wishing to take off the new boots he wore, as they damaged the sides of his feet.
Tom hadn't finished opening the door when cries could be heard on the other side of the door.
"Daddy fast! Open fast!" The curly haired girl jumped up and down, her hair following her movements, and within seconds the little girl was hugging her friend tightly. "Tess I missed you!"
The dog began to move her tail from one side to the other, allowing herself to be embraced by the little one and sticking out her tongue to relish the same euphoria that she felt when seeing her owners.
"Hey, baby." Tom closed the door behind him, approaching his two princesses and stroking Tessa's head, his hands then helping Skye to remove her coat.
A voice echoed through the house. "Is that my little princess?" A tall, pale boy with eyes that under the strong light were becoming clearer, appeared at the entrance of the house.
Tom shook his head with a sigh when he saw that Harrison had borrowed clothes from his closet, clothes that he probably would never return.
"Uncle Haz!" Skye started giggling at Harrison, who lifted her up in the air while spinning her. Tessa began to bark, thinking that the screams that escaped Skye's mouth were frightened ones, when in fact they were of joy.
Harrison kissed the little girl's cheek who really looked a lot like Tom, which they both appreciated. "How was your day?"
"It was really good!" The little girl asked her uncle to leave her on the floor because when she told a story she had to move a lot and make many gestures with her hands. "Today a new boy has come to class and we have become friends! He was a little shy!"
"A boy you say? You're just friends, aren't you?" Tom asked, looking at the little girl as she followed Haz and him into the kitchen. Harrison couldn't help but smile, looking at his friend.
"Yes, we are friends!" Skye smiled. "His name is Dylan!" She began to wander around the kitchen, thinking about her new best friend and the desire to see him tomorrow. "He doesn't have a dad."
Tom, who had started preparing that day's food, stopped doing it. "You haven't commented on any of that, right darling?" He thought that this could be a delicate subject for the other kid.
"I just asked him if he had a mom and he said yes, so I told him then that he should be happy because he had a mom and someone who loves him a lot." The little girl started talking in a quick peace. "I told him that it's okay because my dad plays dad and mom so his mom could play being a dad too."
Harrison smiled at how well Tom had taught the little girl and how natural it sounded.
"Good job, my love." Tom smiled. He was a proud dad.

dad!tom bringing his daughter on a press tour but she’s all grumpy from travelling??
During his new press tour, Tom decided to bring your two years old daughter with him. He was happy to be able to finally spend time with her. He had just finished shooting a movie and knew that with the press tour he wouldn't be able to stay a long time at home, so he took her with him. He was sad you couldn't go with them, but you promised to visit them.
Your daughter, Maria, was happy to be with him, too bad that she hated to sit most of the time, during the flight, in the car, when Tom was doing an interview.
It started to annoy her, all she wanted to do was play with her toys and hug her daddy, not to sit for hours.
Tom just finished the last interview of the day and she was happy to leave, she started running in the stairs to leave the building faster, but Tom told her to slow down, or she would end up hurting herself.
When they came out of the building he took her in his arms, walking towards the car waiting for them to drive them back to the hotel. She shaked her head vigorously and folded her arms around her chest when she saw the car.
"No," she said, which caused Tom to stop dead in his tracks, looking at her in a questionning look.
"No what, darling?"
"Want to play." She furrowed her eyebrows, arms still crossed over her chest.
"We can play at the hotel if you want, darling." He said, stroking her head.
"Want to play now." She pointed behind Tom where a park was and he turned a fe seconds around to see before looking at her again. "Please dada?" She said with pleading eyes.
Tom sighed, he knew he couldn't resist her, even if he was tired, he knew it was probably annoying for her to spend most of her day sitting, even him found it boring sometimes. "Alright, darling, just let me tell the driver first."
After telling the driver, he went to the park, played with her on the swing, slid with her on his lap on the toboggan several times and even bought her a chocolate ice cream, she put some on her face and Tom laughed. He took a picture and sent it to you before wiping her face and for once in the car on the way back to the hotel she wasn't grumpy since she had fallen asleep in her dad's lap after playing almost all afternoon with him.
