Honestly as long as veilguard doesn’t negate anything im cool I’m just worried that accidentally things will be negated and or none of the decisions we will make as Rook will matter either

they xed everything from the first three games do you really think they’ll be like yeah but DA4 is the one with choices we will bother to keep?

Like even life or death stakes were erased stakes are essential for it to feel like it matters (Stakes are what gives any piece of media interest.)

I think I would have liked it alot better if they did the first three games as Dragon age and set this in Thedas but as some other thing…

Like as long as nothing is directly negated I’m still interested story-wise…

Without spoiling a lot, can someone let me know what happens with the Inquisitor's romance with Dorian in The Veilguard, because I know the Inquisitor gets a letter from their love in interest, and I know that Dorian is in the actual game but does the Inquisitor just get a letter from Dorian or do they have scene together?

Like I said, this is my list, and the only time anything has made it through my filters it's because the OP didn't tag their post with anything at all 👎even though I personally have been consuming spoilers and revealing the filtered posts on my dash, i have kept the filters on since early summer in preparation of release.

a TLDR on calpernia as a member of rook's party / a shadow dragon contact ! - EARLY GAME DA:TVG SPOILERS ! nothing endgame, nothing beyond the first act. ( this will be serving as a momentary about page )

BASE WORLDSTATE WILL ASSUME TWO THINGS ; that no matter how the inquisitor sided in the mage - templar war, calpernia was encountered as leader of the venatori - - - and that the inquisitor discovered corypheus' plans for calpernia to serve as a vessel and managed to convince her to confront him.

that confrontation went as expected and left calpernia nearly dead. she survived and was saved by some of her loyal venatori. calpernia was ferried away & took with her the majority of corypheus' venatori forces, who were more loyal to the woman who freed them from slavery than the creature who would have seen her rendered a mindless vessel of power.

this confrontation cost her her right leg & left her recovering for a long while. she and her loyal venatori returned to tevinter to lay low after the defeat of corypheus by the inquisition. currently has an impressive looking magical prosthetic leg & uses a cane that doubles as an arcane focus in combat.

with the continuing goal of reshaping tevinter by any means necessary, a name change was in order - venatori was rather ruined, especially as many calling themselves that had veered wildly away from calpernia's goal of destroying & reshaping tevinter. THE SHADOW DRAGONS was selected as calpernia struck up an odd and mostly uncomfortable truce with maevaris tilani & dorian pavus, among others. she thought the two and their idea of the lucerni to be foolish and soft-hearted, but their clout was useful while it lasted.

spent the ten years between world ending cataclysms building the shadow dragons. their focus remains anti-slavery, aiding and freeing those caught in the terror of it, but calpernia often has to be stopped from delving into more drastic action against the imperium on multiple occasions by so-called cooler heads. suffice to say multiple assassination plans for the archon have been quashed by her fellow shadow dragon leaders. cowards.

joins the veilguard when the city choice is made. her questline largely consists of either encouraging her to spend her time and effort on protecting the people of dock town or taking down the leadership of tevinter. the others being slow to trust is expected, considering her ... checkered past.
