On Dragon Age: The Veilguard art style

The Inquisition trailer art style was more cartoonish and stylized than the actual game. If I were to guess, we're likely going to get a more stylized art style than previous titles, but something that's a tad more realistic than that trailer, similar to how DA:I was more realistic with its actual in-game graphics by comparison to the trailer

Do I think that stylized trailers are necessarily a good choice? Honestly no. It's a pretty known thing that gamers heavily prefer real-gameplay footage trailers, but that's just not what Dragon Age is known for.

Even Origins and DA:2 had that same stylized trailer to real gameplay disconnect.

I think the stylization in this trailer shouldn't be taken too seriously. But hey, I might be wrong, and some of the stylization might be coming from the old live-service multiplayer direction of the game, with "cartoonish" graphics (think Overwatch and similar) being very popular in that genre and multiplayer-first games in general.

We have to wait and see. But honestly, as someone who is hoping to see Solas's pores in triple HD like the shameless old man devotee I am, I think we'll be ok
