Lately I haven't been able to stop thinking about the scene right after the Chantry explosion and how Anders, even if romanced, fully expects Hawke to kill him for it, when all my Hawke wants to do is get Anders to Look at him and say "Do you really think I would ever hurt you?" and "I told you you aren't going to lose me and I meant that."

I just noticed in all the DA games at the end the protagonist is being celebrated besides in DA2. There people are walking away from Hawke in almost horror.

DA2 Act II — Fenhawke Romance Scene Animation [2022]

I made many animatics/animations in the last few years and thought it would be wise to post them again on Tumblr!

Starting with one of my favourite: the "what happened during the eclipse and how the heck Fenris & Hawke got upstairs (+ angst)" animation!

Until today, I had only made a French dub version [YouTube], but I re-recorded the scenes in English tonight and try to patchwork my animation through the ellipse like 3 years ago!

I think the reason I love Inquisitor!Hawke aus is because Varric fights so hard to stop it from happening because he knows other people only see Hawke the champion or Hawke the war starter. He knows people only see his best friend as a symbol, the same sort of symbol he admits he forgets Inky isn’t. Making Hawke the Inquisitor flips Varric as a character in Inquisition. Because suddenly the person he cares about most is at the heart of this being treated as a symbol again, a fate he tried to save them from. Hawke’s once again the hero of the story and Varric is a writer, he knows the hero always suffers.
