he makes everything sound so flirty. he has that smile and soft voice going on. ("the name 'hawke' is on many lips these days." "and I'll be at your side." "we need each other. i can't make it sound better than that.")

calling hawke 'messere', right after praising them for what they did "fresh off the boat."

he is the one trying to convince hawke to join them. yes there is reason for hawke to be wary but it's still so crazy to me.

the fact that he joins the party straight after this. i remember what a surprise it was on my first playthrough. still insane to me.
