🌺 describe your aesthetic (even if it’s just what you’re wearing now)

My aesthetic is very blue, black and white, I don't wear any other colours aside from boots which I do sometimes wear brown because it contrasts nicely. You will not catch me leaving the house without a hat on, and I'm a big fan of boots because anecdotally I roll my ankles less while wearing boots lol. Winter is my favourite season specifically because I get free choice of boots every day.

I don't like to show skin - I won't go outside with neck, arms, legs, etc showing, and this also makes shopping a damn pain because it feels like every item of clothing ever is now manufactured specifically to show as much skin and be as tight as possible. The main difficulties are low necklines, sleeves too short, tight-fitting everything and trying something on thinking it's nice only to realise there's actually a giant cutout on the back or something. Long coats, scarves and layering are my besties to avoid the curse of the exposed body shape.

So yeah, basically blue, long coats, boots, hat, layers. I try to go for the dark academia look but it doesn't usually end up like that, lol.

And disclaimer because I always get attacked for dressing the way I do: Dress however the fuck you want. I don't care what parts of yourself you choose to show. I just choose not to show mine. If me choosing not to show parts of my body in public triggers you then fucking cope and maybe reflect on why that's the case.

To those who read my post yesterday and might be curious: Yes, watching movies through the back of Ben Solo's head does put a bit of a blue filter on everything.
