The interview with Cameron during D23 in Brazil about Avatar movies.

The big reveal is that Tulkun are his favorites.

He also talks about Windtraders and Ash Na'vi.

The Ash Na'vi tribe name is Mangkwan. Same as one mentioned in the Avatar: The Next Shadow comics (proving comics are indeed canon). Wiki has already merged the entries.

So the Ash Na'vi call themselves Ash People for the volcanic ash that destroyed their civilisation.

They resent Eywa and other Na'vi because they feel they were left to suffer alone. They are really ones that hate god for abandoning them. It makes sense when your god is real and it preaches we are all connected but when bad things happen you are all alone because Eywa doesn't interviene.

But then, of course, Eywa did interviene for Jake Sully. She helped Omatikaya against the invaders. The immune response still protects Halleluja Mountains. This must hurt even worse.

I could see how this would feel like such a injustice. Why Varang and Quaritch could ally themselves on this feeling of being wronged. Even if Quaritch was the one at fault and natural disasters aren't the same as alien invasion threatening the whole world.

And the other Na'vi preaching how they are all connected - where were they when Mangkwan needed them? All they do is send them their undesirables. Screw them too.

I can see why they would be interested in human tech and using it to fight the other Na'vi and not caring about laws of Eywa or the consequences for the word. I also see why RDA would love to use them for that. I expect it to go about as well as training Taliban did.

Seriously, I don't know why this almost made me emotional. But after 3 years of the abuse, harassment, racism, conspiracies, questioning of her abilities and her integrity that some of you losers have continuously lobbed at this CHILD... I can't imagine how this must feel for her to truly see how much she means to people and how proud of her so many of us are.

This looks so good! I don't know what the scene is, but I hope that it's some sort of bonding ceremony between Lo'ak and Payakan! I would love for Payakan to be accepted back into the community, especially after helping rescuing Tuk, Kiri, Lo'ak and Tsireya! (even though he killed one of my favorite recoms in the proces 🥹)

I mean honestly, if this doesn't make you want to live on Pandora, then I don't know what else will. This looks amazing 💙

Again, this makes me want to live on Pandora. I would kill to visit the Hallelujah Mountains. The aircrafts look so pretty! Why can't they make hot air balloons like this on earth 🥲

Que random memory of me and my grandma out on a walk and seeing a hot air balloon fly really low over us with little kids being really enthusiastic and stuff and some asshole teenagers flipped them off.

I can totally see Lo'ak and Spider in one of these things flying over an RDA base and just flipping everyone off just because it's fun🤣 Don't tell Neytiri because Tuk, being the typical little sister, copied them (in her own way, with 4 fingers lol).

Quaritch, babes, where is Lyle? I just know that our favorite himbo wouldn't let his bf get captured on his own.

Also, his captures don't seem to have a (whole) queue? I know that it was hinted at/revealed that they lost they connection to Eywa

But with the deleted scene from the first movie with Lyle cutting off Tsu'tey's queue, which showed him in agony, I'm curious why these Na'vi don't seem to be in any pain.

So, what do you guys thing about it? Are you exited? I'd love to hear any thoughts!
