Hey wait a minute, in Once upon a Time it was insinuated that the Predacons not only killed a few humans but also the animals from every ecosystem of the wildlife. If the predacons ever did come back to Earth they will get hounded by not only angry humans but by every animal they disturbed during their time on Earth. Heck, we even have the craziest wild animal attack stories showing how the animals on Earth will hold the biggest grudges, not only at the offender but even to their entire bloodline.

Yep. One such animal is the common crow.

Predcons are ruthlessly hunted by crows. Even generations and millennia later, it is a grudge that remains and is passed on, to the point that some researchers are convinced that the corvids MUST be natural predators of predacons because it has gotten ridiculous. Not even the Envoys, hosting the knowledge of generations being passed along through time have that kind of bloodlust.

Picture it, your ship as just landed on this wild planet, you’ve been briefed, even the monster of a beast that you are, on the importance of avoiding the native fauna and flora unless explaicitly known to be relatively safe- even then PLEASE proceed with caution- as well as proper diplomatic procedure to avoid nother galactic war.

It’s ridiculous. You’re a predacon, a great and noble race, Cybertronains can’t help but cower in your presence. You are the old and revived predator of ancient days, your kind are capable of going toe to toe with Primes. What can theses tiny, new-fledged, and imperfect creations do to you? The Neo-humans may have proven their strength, but what does that say for the truly mindless prey that lurks within the shadows?

And then, you hear it.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

Turn your helm and look out the window. Meet red optics that do not blink. See a tiny round helm tilt, fin and thin knives of feathers reflect light like a rainbow bending away from an oil spill, as the beak, more like the end of a dark spear, cracks open and releases a low rattling caw.

It sees you looking at it. It taps the glass again.

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

Wings flutter as it shifts, finely clawed peds lifting only to silently fall as it moves to make room for another. This one doesn’t tap. It just stares. Beak slowly opening and closing, the knives, feathers, ruffle, scattering light as green and purple dance within its void of blackness. Red optics don’t look away. They just watch.

You can see others, pairs of crimson slowly appearing into view. One, two, three, five, six, ten, fifteen…

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

You ignore the scratches on the glass. You ignore the endless eyes. You ignore the intelligence, the recognition, as those things stare through the transparent flimsy separation. Eyes locked on to your insignia. Eyes with no fear and only cold knowing.

It taps again and croaks out a caw. Taunting.

You don’t grumble about the rules and procedures for the rest of your stay. You stay by a Neo, and you take the offered, and oddly made shield, that blocks out the sun and those crimson glares from your view.

Crows, you learn have long been held as an ill omen.

You believe it.

Kory rushes through the long hallways of the hospital, Galfore right behind her. A couple of the staff members move out of the way, some in shock to see the youngest daughter's appearance. She glances at the room numbers, the receptionist at the front desk told her that her father was in the west wing with some of the best doctors in the nation operating on him. Kory slows down her pace as she spots her mother, the royal guards, Komy, and Ryan outside the room.

Luan glances up from Ryan resting in her lap and sees Kory with tears in her eyes. "Kory," She removes Ryan off her lap and runs towards her daughter. They embrace in a hug, both crying, while Komy rolls her violet eyes behind them. "How is he? Is he okay? What happened?" Luan presses her finger to Kory's lips and hushes her, "He's going to be alright. The doctors are finishing up the operation as we speak. I don't know what has happened, but hopefully, your father will tell us when he wakes up," Luan gazes over at Galfore and smiles, he smiles back at her.

"My Queen, I apologize for the circumstances in which we have to meet like this," "Galfore, please call me Luan. We aren't in public," He blushes. "Right, I'm glad to hear that my brother will be alright," Ryan scurries over to Kory and hugs her leg. Kory ruffles his fluffy curls as he holds her tight. "Kory! I'm so glad to see you! You've been gone for a long time!" "Hi Ryan," She leans down to his level and gives a kiss on his cheek.

"I'm back now, that's all that matters," Komy strolls over to the family with a smirk on her face. "Well, well, well. If it isn't sister dear and kicks. Nice of you to join us away from Kory's rehabilitation retreat," "Komy!" Luan hissed. "It's not like it's a secret mother, right Kory?" Kory wanted to snap back at Komy, however, she didn't. It wasn't the time for them to argue and Komy knew that. She wanted to get a rise out of Kory, but she wouldn't give her the satisfaction. "Komy, how nice to see you," she said through a straight line of teeth.

Komy flipped her long mane of black curls and fluttered her long eyelashes as if she was innocent. "You too sis, shame what happened to daddy," "Such a shame," Why does Kory feel as though Komy had something to do with this? Kory wouldn't put it past her if she did. A doctor in his scrubs came out of Myan's room, a small blood stain lie under his collarbone. "Good news, we were able to safely remove the bullet from King Myan's spine. Thankfully we removed it before any vital nerves or organs were damaged. Whoever shot him has terrible aim,"

"Thank you, Doctor," Luan spoke. "Can we see him?" Ryan asked. "In a few, we have to let the anesthesia wear off," "Might as well make ourselves comfortable," Luan stated. She sat back down in her seat as did Komy and Ryan. Kory stood off to the side, away from them. "Something troubles you, bumgorf?" He asked as he moved next to her. "Nothing troubles me, I'm just glad he's alright," Kory laid her head against Galfore's arm. She lied to him. That bullet wasn't just a coincidence. Someone wanted her to get the message that any of her family members were open targets. Unfortunately, she read that message loud and clear.

Bee didn’t react like he thought she would. She slowly lost her smile as Victor spoke. She looked back at the two boys –it was Garth and someone else, a redhead wearing a sleeveless hoodie- then back at Vic, and raised her chin. “We don’t want your help.”

“What?” Vic gaped. “Why not?”

“Because we’re gonna deal with it. East High’s own Project club.” Bee crossed her arms, stared up defiantly. “I started one.”

“You… copied the idea of the club you heard from me… and now you wanna expel us from investigating?” Vic confirmed, his smile fading, as did his excitement over seeing Bee again.

“I think it’s only appropriate.” Her face got potent with self-righteousness the way he remembered. “This is our turf after all.”

Vic held up his arms. “You know what? Fine. Whatever. I’m not gonna deal with this. Bye.” He began to walk out of the cafeteria.

“Vic, come back here,” Dick called, as he approached Bee. “It’s Bee, right? Look, I’m not here to undermine you. You made your own Project club, I think that’s great. We can help each other out. You know your school, we’ve been doing this longer… We can both do this without anyone stepping on anyone’s toes.” He clapped his hands and smiled diplomatically. “Also, you can’t stop us from doing what we came to do. So.”

Bee eyed him up and down. “I’ll take a collaboration as long as we’re clear who’s boss.”

Me, thought Dick. “Whatever. I don’t care,” he said.

He and Bee shook hands. Both were crossing their fingers in their respective heads.

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.
