I didn’t want to make this post, however, with the release of the preview pages of the DCTL Graphic Novel, Cobalt broke into my house demanding the staff be redesigned to be more “canon complicit.” They feared with our current designs the Bendy devs would be afraid of interacting with us; “I mean, imagine the horror Mike would feel seeing our Norman!” They muttered, body shaking with either excitement or fear. Of course, my response was- “What? The loosely bendy-based story where Henry is Joey’s brother, Joey and Sammy are married gay lovers and Bertrum x Jack is a thing needs to be closer to canon now?” Their response, as moving as it was mocking, was “Do it or I won’t let you ride the ink demon this summer.”

I am currently pressing charges, but before I had it arrested, it created these edits for me to base the redesigns off of. After they’re done serving their sentence, posting will continue as normal <3

(Resending with the right numbers this time) myo-557 was talked about on this blog a few months ago when it first happened. It was done when it was owned by the artist that did the design itself. They whitewashed their own design. Still weird, but could be weirder. Not great when paired with the fact that the same artist and their partner have also reverted bun-016 from black to white, and made an ashy flat-haired black design with myo-910 (one of its past designs)

Really don't care for Sonic gijinkas where Amy and Tails are white.It makes Amy look like pick me yt women who chase after black men since Sonic and Shadow are both black and she comes across moreso as black/white mixed and lightskin imo as someone who is and Tails' based on Kitsunes,*japanese* folklore creatures so if anything he's pretty clearly japanese like how Knuckles is afro-indigenous because his people are based off aztec mexicans but he's got black-coding heavy in there too.And i can't help but feel like people assume they're the white ones because they're the soft uwu babs.And if Rogue can be black so can the non-sexualized fem mc(i'm saying Rogue is black too btw.it's giving Rico Nasty)

UPDATE!!!

Seems the racist prick tried another mod with another game...and not only did it get removed like the DATV mods did, but SO DID HE!!! DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD!!! Dude has to relegate himself to mod sites NO ONE cares about XDD This is amazing.

i hope you all understand how hard it is for poc to trust an artist to actually take genuine care in depicting them in a culturally sensitive way because of the extra steps it takes to make sure clothing details, hair textures, skin tones, etc are done properly because so much of conventional art is geared towards white people seeing themselves in the most appealing light and no one else

so when i see it done well it makes me so happy and insane fjjfjfnf
