izumi is making some instagram video as he unboxes which i'm going to heavily edit later cuz i don't want people in my business (he's not allowed to do lives because of a prior incident anymore) and he is delighted by the fact that izuku bought him all 15 things he wanted on his wishlist (i was :/ about this but who am i to stop a father from spoiling his son!). aki is also delighted by his gifts, and thanks us both with excited hugs then runs off to go talk to his friends in his room. atsuna finishes unboxing her gift, says thank you then proceeds to tell all might a princess story that rivals the length of the tale of genji. all might is listening intently but he won't last very long. kenji has lost interest in his toys and now wants to go make snow men again cuz nothing catches his attention for more than 15 minutes. inko is making breakfast. i'm putting on the clothes that inko knit as presents on aoi and ai and all might is taking more pictures.

I just can't get rid of the feeling that it's all being handled in a weird way, it's pretty obvious that it is the company that pushed this decision, Chan basically said it himself in that fansign video. And while I agree with ppl that it might be a good thing for chan to take a break from chans room but I don't get why is it done so poorly. He hasn't mentioned chans room since june and he's the only member that hasn't gone live lately...

Wouldn't be easier for everyone including jype, chan and stays, if Chan said smth like chans room will come back someday or that it won't come back, maybe say that he's busy and taking a break. Today he had to spend the entire day sending cryptic messages on bbl, now he clearly wants stays to stop bringing attention to it, but without any answers ppl are still going to speculate about it yk? Basically, I don't see how this way of handling everything benefits anyone, especially Chan, cuz there are already ppl blaming him...🥲 Sorry for ranting 😭

sadly when it comes to kpop we very rarely get clear answers. back in june chris posted on bubble saying he wasn’t able to do it for the foreseeable future. i think we all assumed that meant a little while but between the bowing thing and how stays and the other fandom have reacted on top of just how insane the boys schedule has been i’m not surprised he’s at a point where channies room isn’t so possible. it does suck and it’s hard to tell what the real reason is, my guess is a combination of a lot of things, as to why it’s gone but i think it’s going to be one of those things we have to just accept. if and when chris finds the time or ability to do it again it will happen. if not it’s truly sad but chris has honestly been too busy for it for years now but has put the time in anyway and i think he’s been holding himself to the promise longer than he should have. channies room has always been my favorite part of the week, but if he needs to stop it’s just something we have to respect.

also jype is literally just always garbage at announcing or keeping fans informed of anything. after how they never talked about hyunjins hiatus or let the meme era talk about him at like all during that time i expect nothing from that company to be presented well unless it’s making them money lmao

One of my favorite narrative mechanisms is FROM "A" TO "B" where "A" is now "B" or something like that. In other words "If you wander enough, you'll end up somewhere", logic that can be applied to holes too ("If you dig deeper enough, you'll end up somewhere").

And I know, this sounds stupidly obvious, but let me show you what happened yesterday:

I was doing my usual bullshit when I found a shitty meme that I thought my friend "V" would like. So I went to whatsapp and sent it to her. Now, my friend usually answers me like some days later because she has not enough spoon to deal with world always and I spend that time sending her memes so she has something new and cool to see when she finally decides to open the chat.

Yeah! ^^ I've actually had the storyline fully planned out since 2017, but I'm updating and re-writing everything in the 2022 version because the original seemed kinda cringe and didn't feel consistent enough. I've only had Day 1 fully written since 2017, and everything beyond that just a general outline/dot-points of what I want to happen in each of the days. As for the progress: I still need to write the coding and dialogue, draw the backgrounds, update the sprites, CGs, and UI, and a ton of other behind-the-scenes things that probably aren't worth mentioning. ^^;

Like the answer above, I have everything figured out (all the choices, branches/paths, endings, etc.), but they're mainly just general outlines/dot-points that I need to iron out, rather than a fleshed-out script that I can work with. I usually just tackle parts of the dialogue one scene at a time (usually by mindlessly typing out words and editing it afterwards) before moving to another scene and repeating the process. Eventually you'll end up with a semi-coherent script that you can throw into a text editor to check for spelling and then slap into the game!

Like game continuity? I don't think there will be any since the storyline is pretty linear and will eventually have closure once the game ends, so there wouldn't be much content to go through once the game ends ^^; I can look into adding future DLCs though!

Renren will be the main romance and focus for the game, but depending on the choices you make and the bonds you form with the other characters, you'll have the chance to get an ending with them instead! I won't be a fully fleshed out route or anything though.

You fiddle with your fingers as you observe them loading the truck. Bag after bag of coffee beans make the truck's level lower a little. You stand on the alley's door trying your best to hide your pout, altho you're pretty sure they've already noticed since they keep reassuring you they'll be back by nightime, still you feel too uneasy to let go. The weather is still pretty humid, it has been raining nonstop latetly and you can't help it but feel a little hopeless as they finish loading the back of the truck.

"B-but why do both of you have to go? C-can't one of you stay here... with me?" Anxiety is an ugly monster and you know too well for your own good. That gut wretching feeling in your stomach which burns and cuts your peace of mind with paranoia and cruel whispers at the back of your mind.

Your eyes widen... that prick in your stomach aches harsher, the emptiness in your gut screams in retaliation to his words, your nervousness is quite noticeable now. "W-what do you m-mean? W... Why does it sound like you're saying goodbye?!" Your panic comes out at your last sentance.

You know that's not what the mean to say, you know it's just your brain messing with you... but you can't help it, ever since you arrived here, to your new found home, you've never been left alone by your own, one of them has always kept you company and so the thought of being alone for the first time in a while is simply... overwhelming.

"I-I'm sorry... I'm just..." you clutch the keys closer to you, fidgeting with the little mug shaped keychain. They both look at you in silence for moment, unsure of what to say, but Moon as always, is pretty perceptive. He calls your name softly and sweetly, a tone he usually reserves for when he soothes you to sleep.

You look up at them teary eyed, and for the very first time when they place their hand on your shoulders, you don't flinch. Your eyes widen a bit, you know they want to hug you, but they don't dare to without your explicit permission. So in a fit of pain, you launch yourself into their arms, finally giving in your most deepest cravings, their comfort. Your nose is filled with the escence of coffee and worn clothes. They debate for a moment about returning the hug but seeing you cling to them like this, they decide to do it.

The traces they draw on your skin makes your worries melt like butter. This... this is exactly what you been yearning for... Them. "Promise you'll text me whenever you can... please?" They remain silent, well Sun does, as Moon suddlently bursts out in a warm laughter "S-sorry! It's just- Hahahha- So cute..." You look up at him from his shoulder. "It's so cute when you think we wouldn't be doing that already... hehe... I mean- Who else am I gonna send memes to? Sun? He doesn't even get half of them!" You know he most likely is using this as an excuse to free some tension, but you don't mind, knowing this is just Moon wanting you to feel better, Sun then plays along "Mayyybe if someone bothered to explain them to me I would at least smile!" Sun retorts, to which Moons anly response is to whisper "susus amogus" and that's enough for you both to start snicker. "You two are weird!" Sun playfully states as you and Moon explode wheezing in laughter. You decide to tease him a bit feeling all your previous worries fade away.

"You looove us and you know it~" he huffs and sighs in defeat. "Can't argue with that, dang it!" You jest sticking out your tounge and giving him a little wink, still not letting go of the comfort of their embrace.

Rae was having none of it. She said you’ll figure it out eventually. Told you to channel your superior puzzle skills. You were quick to remind her that you can barely count to ten without having an aneurysm. Oddly serious, she admitted that she worries for you sometimes. Why only sometimes?! you demanded. She merely sighed. uttering under her breath something that sounded closely to “Boke.”

You leave her for barely a week and she’s already neck deep in the gay volleyball anime, hoodie and cardboard cutout and everything. Your life is falling apart.

But Brooklyn is nice. It had snowed when you stepped off of the plane. Thousands of snowflakes sprinkling into your hair, dotting your cheeks and nose. You missed this sight back in Cali. You missed your parents, too. 

Home cooked meals, old sweaters, your old room and about 40GB worth of old high school pictures on your computer. You went through them all one night. Some were stomach churning, cringe inducing nightmares. You were especially fond of those. Texted some of your friends that were still in Brooklyn, met up, decided to bake. Bad idea, Rae was the resident chef back in Cali. Besides laughing till your stomach hurt, and almost burning down your kitchen, nothing all that significant happened. That’s where the problems really started. God, you missed California, missed being in the same timezone with a guy you hadn’t even met yet, how embarrassing is that?! You missed skating around and taking pictures of the beach in the setting sun, sending it to him, silently wishing he was with you to admire the view. 

You really want to call him. And to hang out with him. But for some reason, the thought of that springs up immediate anxiety and you shy away from asking. Him sending you cute good morning texts doesn’t help, either. Maybe it’s better he doesn’t know that you’re a blushing, stuttering mess each time you read “baby”. 

Late evening. Your stream is already set up, people are slowly trickling in and you greet them with a grin and a soft “Hello! Hi hi!”. You did your best to make your room a perfectly chaotic backdrop - led lights, an embarrassing amount of anime merch and plushies. You always try to balance out your weeb side by dressing hot as fuck for your streams - today’s inspiration just so happens to be egirls. Mostly because you watched one too many egirl make-up tutorials on TikTok, and also because you’ve been listening to Corpse’s song all day.

Yeah, no, who are you kidding, you dressed up this way because you were hoping Corpse was watching your stream. You didn’t forget your cat headphones, either. You know he likes them. You want to make him suffer. Perhaps then, finally, he will ask you out, so you wouldn’t have to.

“I’m live right now,” You tell her, pointing at your screen. She knows this already, though, “do you want to say hi?” 

The roaches spam the chat with friendly hellos. You mom, quite impatient now, waves you over. 

“Sorry, roaches, mom needs something. Be back in a bit!”

Stopping the stream, you rush out of your seat and pleased she slinks into the hallway. “What’s this about?”

“Your pizza came.”

“My what now?” You echo, confused.

“Domino’s. You ordered pizza?”

“What? No? I was busy with the stream, I never--”

Thankfully, you had managed to grab your phone from your room before you exited. You almost choke on spit once you read the messages.

It’s a sad sight, chewing and crying; your mom winced when she saw your state - disheveled hair and rundown eyeliner and everything. “D’aww,” She had muttered, caressing the top of your head, “don’t cry my little raccoon.”

If anyone was ever to ask you where did your chaotic nature come from, you’d answer with my mom. To make yourself feel better, you took a selfie - duck face and peace sign and the horrible 2000′s angle. Sent it to Rae.

You couldn’t just leave things as they were. Once you calmed down, you wanted to text Corpse, but how would you follow up the ungodly caps lock and screeching? Impossible. An idea sprung to mind, one that was brave. Taking the first step.

You voice still sounded a bit raspy. His reply was instant. Your heart skipped a beat. He sent a voice memo back.

This show is about Ladybug and Cat Noir- Marinette and Adrien.

For me, Season 4 right now is gonna be Chat being heartbroken cuz wtf man, his lady is being distant as fuck. Being Chat Noir always gave him a sense of freedom, but now he feels more and more like Adrien as Chat as well, trapped and useless to everyone around him.

So my dude goes and tells Ladybug that he can't do this. It's too much and she has Rena Rouge, Carapace and the others to help her. He is not important anymore, so it'll be fine if he gives his miraculous back to her.

Ladybug is shocked. She never wanted this. The main reason she was staying away from Chat is because of all the mental damage she suffered from Chat Blanc, because them being close, them being in love, basically destroyed the world.

So she sits there and she listens to her best friend (cuz Chat is her best friend, not Alya, fight me Thomas Astruc) say that he is gonna leave her, and she just kinda freezes.

Chat being Chat, sees this and goes to her being like, "Milady are you okay "

and before he finishes, he sees that she is basically having a panic attack and she's not breathing (duh. The number of expectations this kid, YES KID SHE'S LIKE 14, has is heartbreaking and she's been bordering on Anxiety and Depression for too long) and has tears streaming down her face and Chat immediately goes and hugs her and helps her through it (Imma stick to the 5-4-3-2-1 technique cuz its been effective for me).

After that happens they finally show some vulnerability to each other, and Ladybug finally tells him about Chat Blanc and how she's basically traumatised because of it.

Chat is heartbroken.

He never thought that him loving Ladybug could have such drastic consequences, and so he asks her if she wants him away. She could choose another Chat Noir, but this time so the fate of the flipping world doesn't hang in the balance, and after like a few more hours of opening up to each other, they decide that Ladybug and Chat Noir will always be Ladybug and Chat Noir. Best friends, partners and each other's solace.

Nothing else. At least until Hawkmoth is defeated.

And so they both go home, and Marinette is finally at peace cuz her partner is her partner again and she doesn't have to do all the unnecessary crap of having new superheroes in every new episode.

Adrien on the other hand is defeated as fuck. My man is so sad and he doesn't know what to do. He can't talk to Nino about this, he can't talk to Alya about this (they're just not that close, honestly) and he doesn't know what to do.

So, he bribes Plagg with a wheel of Camembert and transforms before going to the one person he trusts as much as he trusts Ladybug (3 guesses who lol)

Marinette is a little surprised to see her partner less than half an hour after having a huge talk with him. Of course, Chat doesn't know that and he just wants a friendly face who he knows will listen to him without an ounce of judgement.

And so Mari invites him in for passionfruit croissants she definitely made for Adrien that morning and makes them both comfortable in her room.

And then Chat talks.

He talks about how alienated he felt, he talks about how scared he is and he doesn't stop talking to Marinette until they're both just wrapped around each other, asleep, leeching off of each other's warmth cuz getting up to take the blanket was just too much work.

In the middle of the night, Plagg detransforms and goes to the other Kwamis to look at these two dumbass kids, who have way too much weight on their shoulders.

As the sun rises, Plagg (after being told by Tikki to 'be subtle for fucks sake, Plagg') gently wakes Adrien up, and Adrien leaves a note for Marinette, thanking her for listening to him, and leaves again.

And then, they go about their days as usual. Go to school, fight Akumas side by side, with a little extra help from Rena Rouge and any other hero, but people in Paris can see that it's The Ladybug and Chat Noir team once more.

And at night if the two heroes spend a little extra time together, as Chat Noir and Marinette, then nobody knows about it.

ON THE OTHER HAND, Alya is getting a little annoyed (just like we did with her lol) and straight-up asks Marinette what was the point of telling her all this if she was just gonna use her as a sidekick and Marinette (who has a lot more confidence considering during day time Adrien boosts her ego, and at night Chat does it) just goes "cuz you are a sidekick...? Your job, along with every other hero I give the miraculous to is to help Chat and me." (is this a little OOC for Mari? I don't care lmao)

Alya bristles and goes on to make a series of bad decisions to prove that she is vital to the tram, but she only adds a lot of drama smh.

OKAY BACK TO CHAT AND MARI. Gods they are SO in love. These two fools really do friends to lovers properly and cutely. Mari unknowingly gets over her crush on Adrien, and develops one on Chat instead, never realising that she fell in love with the same idiot.

And Adrien? Gods, he doesn't know how he never SAW Mari. Funny Mari who always beats him in Videogames and always gives him the best food (cuz gabby is a dick and doesn't feed his son enough) and gives the best hugs and always comes to every single tournament of his to cheer him on and laughs at all his puns and talks to him every night until they fall asleep together, either in each other's arms or over the phone. (If you think Adrien didn't get another phone just so he could talk to Mari as Chat at night and to send her memes during his photoshoot, then you're lying to yourself, bestie.)

And so one night, they kiss.

And everything seems so, so right.

And then they both get an akuma alert so Chat has to go asap, and Mari quickly transforms to meet him. They get there, and Rena Rouge is there, but with different colours and Ladybug and Chat Noir are confused cuz you know.

This is their friend. Their ally.

And then Rena turns around and says,

"Hello, Marinette."

Zhongli is one of the more... sane people in chat. He's very nice when the player first joins the chat but my god this man texts so slow 😩✋🏻He doesnt use his thumbs to type... He does it like parents do with their pointer fingers. He uses complicated words and texts a whole ass block if asked about smth. But he's calm and friendly so it's okay <3 (lets ignore his non-existant meme knowledge tho. "What does this mean?" "Who is this?" Chongyun not only sends videos, he makes them as well (thanks to Hu Tao and Xingqiu). He will get so excited when the player asks him stuff about spirits :)))
