prev reblog saw people in the tags being like "how do you deal with so many notifs" and that's bonkers to me. some people really have notifs on for their apps huh... the answer is you mute everything. phone is not allowed to get stupid red dots on the upper right corner of any app, let alone actually be intrusive with banner notifs👍🏻
#only my RL messaging app and dms/direct pings from 4 selected discord servers go through#not even e-mails have notifs on. i manually check them#cannot imagine to be the kind of person who doesn't immediately go through all the settings of a new app they download and#1) turn off all notifs 2) turn of all tracking shit 3) customize the fuck out of everything you can#i am actually even the kind of person who goes. hmmm this feature kind of sucks. i bet it didn't exist on an older version of the app#and goes off to download an older version of the app🥰

#if you know niche rodents and my sona is like round ears and bearyena ears#both of them are rodent but Something Is Wrong with that 1#thats what my sona has going on#chirps#i <3 tiny details and kin refrences that only i will see#(if you dont know niche its a game about genetics round ears is in story mode and you get it by reuniteing with your starting nichelings#family with home island immunity (scent in the notif) and it looks like mice in beloved kids books#you get bearyena ears by hybriding with a friendly bearyena with will grow up into a normal bearyena and eat your#nichelings there the most common predator and there ears are flat on 1 side and round on the other and they look like mice in a diffrent#stylization but from the right angle they also look like cat ears)#bearyena eyes are so souless i want to make a custom tribe and pretend my nichelings are actually bearyenas#i litteraly have big bearyena ears though i lost my mind about them when i was reading the wiki to make a nichelingsona /vpos

Anyway it's been so long since I've actually been able to add anything to my credit union savings that they locked the damn account 😩
#tried to log in today and the account is locked#there's all of maybe $100 or so in there right now#had to use the rest that I had saved up during the first pandemic lockdown for rent#and haven't added anything back in since then bc pretty much all extra money I've made in the last few years has gone to paying off cc debt#was getting all excited to be able to actually start *saving* again but feeling kinda slapped down now#like damn ok y'all don't want my money then?#I've never received any notification of my account being locked either#i checked my email and it's just a bunch of the monthly savings statements#have spent over an hour on the phone (mostly on hold) with customer service and they still can't tell me why it's locked or how to unlock it#yeah might just need a new credit union tbh
