recently rewatched coraline so.....

+ ramblings and original screencaps under the cut

in the au, the ancients + custard iii travel to the blueberry yogurt academy to retrieve some info abt the beasts. until custard gets bored and finds a weird little door just like coraline did.

the dad and mom are white lily and pure vanilla, with their beast counterparts being their other versions. but of course disguised as the ancient heroes

mrs spink and mrs forcible are hollyberry and golden cheese, mr. bobinsky is dark cacao and wybie is wizard

shadow milk, who in this au is the other mother, created the other world and replicas of both the ancients and the beasts, except all with button eyes. he also spies on custard not with a rag doll, but with a marionette

when the world starts to crumble apart, the other ancients start to look more like the beasts, even their soul jams turn around

oh and the cat is constable whiskers and it speaks with almonds voice lmfao

Shadowvani fake dating au where they fake get together because elder custard wants custody of custard iii, vanis fighting against it and shadow milk joins in to spite elder custard and be a better dad despite being a world ending eldritch horror

Maybe only elder custard and vani know that shadow is shadow and elder custard is making s God damn fool of himself trying to prove this "whole milk cookie" is actually the shadow milk cookie who's been causing chaos.

Elder custard knows because he'd been keeping custard iii locked in a guest room in house custard, goes in one night and finds shadow having teleported in there to play games and comfort custard for a few hours on request of vani who legally cannot enter or risk ruining the legal battle. Everything shadow milk does is mostly on request/suggestion of vanilla, and shadow growing feelings slowly from appreciating vanis natural affinity for mischief in a Robin hood sort of way.

Also please imagine elder custard rigging it in his favour and shadow gets pissed and stages a big "I AM GOD I WILL DECIDE WHO GETS THE CHILD" and kidnaps custard, ignoring when elder custard shows up with a military unit and only letting an unarmed, peaceful vani come close when custard loudly says he wants to go with him.

Idk how to explain it sorry but here's all I got for now hopefully the next update with mystic flour cookie gives use more ground on it but I noticed a theme in each generation example:

Viture of knowledge,light of truth and wizard cookie is said to be wise on many occasions so like light of wisdom suits best and wisdom comes from learning from a mistake and using the knowledge for later use so suits the whole knowledge thing I also notice another theme with their roles or what they're class is and yes I'm going to use shadow milk cookie,pure vanilla and wizard again as an example

Jester-king-wizard(roles commonly used in fantasy medieval media or fairytales)

But its hard to pin point the others roles or classes like with burning spice cookie,golden cheese and chili pepper:

Me when I put every Cookie run Comic I made recently into the same post.

there is an au that's been stuck in my head for a while where all the beasts get reincarnated as gingerbrave and gang, but only strawberry/eternal sugar is aware, but she reformed for the sake of having a peaceful second life with her friends. I imagine Warden!reader is like "the seal has been quiet for too long..." and IMMEDIATELY knows as soon as gingerbrave and gang appear.

Shadow milk = custard cookie III

Silent salt = gingerbrave

Mystic flour = wizard cookie

Burning spice = Chilli pepper cookie (the most obvious one)

Eternal sugar = strawberry cookie

Oooh! This is a very interesting au!

personally, my take on it would be that the beasts are half-reincarnated due to the fact that, well, they're still sealed. If they'd gotten fully reincarnated the seal would be empty(technically) and destroy itself. though even with the half reincarnation I'd say that eternal sugar is the only 'full' reincarnation.

As for the other beasts(or, what remains of them) they're understandably rather... pissed that they're technically quarters of cookies, Shadow Milk especially. Though Eternal Sugar has been silent on this matter, she's been sleeping a lot lately, hasn't she?

Of course, nobody really realizes she's gone until a long time later.

I also think that Warden!Reader finding the reincarnates would be incredibly funny. They're probably like " Oh, this is why they're so pissed- That's fucking eternal sugar." in a sense at the very least.
