maybe im just a #fatbitch but skinny bodies are so boring lmao. looking at drawing refs and its like. theres nothing there. what is there even to practice. you have no nuance no movement no love on your body. same when the model is completely shaved like no hair???? none/????? the salt and pepper of your body..... the most basic flavor for attractiveness...... and you get rid of it.............

one thing about having drawn and created my whole life is I always way overestimate the skills of the average person. and I'm not talking beginner artists, I know what to expect from beginner artists, I'm talking those people who's only experience with art is whatever they were forced to do for school assignments and nothing more. like what do you mean you can't draw. a tshirt.

trying to improve my comics without any training in theory and instead just staring real hard at comics i like and trying to figure out what i like about them. probably taking away the wrong information every time
#stc has very consistent geometry to its layouts#but a lot of digital comics im seeing have irregular panels at All Times#so now im trying to make panels as polygons instead of as rectangles#(like using the irregular polygon tool)#and then i noticed most speech bubbles are round but not ovals#so now im trying to make them with the curve tool and i think it looks better? but its harder to get right#myaa

it's almost funny how I, as a transmasc person pre-everything, have been burdened by nature with the most glorious hourglass figure (sans noticable tits) ever
like whoever decided what parts go together in my case in the human factory really went:
subtle but noticable moustache, sideburns, beard - check. somewhat tall-ish in comparison to most people - check. broad back and shoulders - check. almost impossible to shop for in-between sized feet - check.
illegally juicy thighs - check. hips so wide they knock over everything on accident - check. ridiculously tiny waist - check.
genetic predisposition for absolute gender fuckery, baby ✨
#some days i still wish for the stereotypical androgynous physique of slim rectangle without any curves#but i'm starting to appreciate the mess that the universe has given me to work with :') <3#like yeah i'm a guy and/or creature depending on the day even if i have a very feminine shape. whatever.#still hoping to get some surgeries in the future 🤞

I went ahead and ranted in the tags: tl;dr you cannot base a buildings brutalismness purely on how much concrete there is
i feel like we don't appreciate these days how much the twin towers sucked, like, design-wise
they were contemporarily hated for just being these giant grey monoliths
like there probably could've been an easier way to get rid of them, but they probably needed to go either way
#ok so TECHNICALLY its got brutalist influence because lets face it style is very much just two rectangles.#BUT!#You cannot just say that any building with concrete is brutalist!!!#Because!!#Concrete is a VERY popular building material!!#Almost every building will have it#especially in the foundation#And as a brutalist hater i think that the amount of concrete is a stupid way to determine if something is brutalist#BRUTALISM is a) EXPOSED concrete#and b) sharp edges (usually 90 degree angles).#I just did the most not brutalist project and it was full of concrete.
