#my art#all october I was like I wanna draw winter art but I gotta hold strong wait until after halloween#then november 1st I was like I don't wanna anymore lmao#but I didn't have any other ideas for this month#been checking the forecast every few hours for snow. it's weird for us to not have ANY snow by now#usually we would've had at least one light snow that melted#the lighting is all wrong for winter art. you need the sun reflecting off the snow to give your house that cozy feel first

So at work we can order little plastic things to put on cupcakes but we’re limited to only ordering generic stuff from this company. Like the company offers popular things like minecraft and hello kitty and even popular generic stuff like unicorns and cars, but we’re only allowed to order birthday and seasonal stuff
EXCEPT just today they said we could order Wicked rings because the much anticipated movie is coming out soon. this was the first I even heard that a wicked movie was coming out

successfully blazed the drawing without anybody being meanies to me about having to look at a size 18-20 girl
Since I still get free blazes until march I was trying to blaze one of my art pieces with a fatter girl and you can add tags to blaze posts to target them to more specific audiences and I couldn’t tag things like plus size or fat positivity because those tags aren’t “trending” yet? I could tag my last piece as “tv head”. tv head is trendy enough

I'm rewatching foster's home right now and the most unrealistic part of this show is that Wilt has been there the longest out of the four main friends and he still hasn't been adopted yet
#I'd adopt him and he'd be my cool helpful roommate and I'd make him really long basketball pyjamas#and I'd help him get a job as a kids basketball coach#would maybe have to renovate the house so the ceilings would be higher

halloween cake stats
so over the course of about a week I made:
36 striped cakes
72 monster face cakes (12 of each kind)
41 caramel apples
24 six-pack cupcakes
18 pull-apart cupcake cakes
after leaving work today on November 1st, there were:
2 striped cakes (1 day left on the shelf)
7 monster face cakes (3 cats & 4 mummies, 3-5 days left on the shelf)
2 caramel apples (expire tomorrow)
0 six-pack cupcakes
0 pull-apart cupcake cakes
and as far as I know, there was 0 shrink so far due to items expiring or customers damaging them, and there's still likely a small number of people planning to have halloween parties this weekend instead of last weekend, so what's left could still sell, especially since it's all 50% off now. possibly the most successful holiday sales since I've been working here

everything I made at work over the past two days
#my desserts#halloween#the two single apples are apples I messed up so I had to cover them up lmao#the sprinkle one I was trying to dip in orange to make pumpkins but the coloured chocolate is too thick#so I tried to scrape it off and it was bad so full sprinkle coverage it is#and then I mixed in white chocolate to thin out the coloured stuff#the other apple I was trying to make red so I could do poison apples#but bc of the white mixed in it looked too pink
