Printed on back: "New Michigan Central Station. The new Michigan Central station is located near Michigan Avenue between Fifteenth and Seventeenth Streets, covers twenty-one acres and the total cost is $15,000,000.00. There will be eleven tracks in the station that will accommodate 135 passenger coaches. It will have all conveniences, such a a complete drug store with special facilities for the care of invalids and change room where travellers can at nominal cost obtain shower baths and make a change of clothing. Accommodations for passengers will not be outdone by any railroad station in the world. C.T. Co., Chicago, R-32214."

Unfortunately the Oregon one doesn’t seem to be authentic (the back gives it away :/ It is the same as on the sellers page so egg on my face for that) but the print looks very nice! The picture was originally printed 10-24-1938
The Las Vegas one was printed 10-19-1937??? Holy shit. I have two Nevada cards from curt teich but the other one is from 1941. Losing my mind over this. It is a used card so there’s writing on the back and it’s stamped 1953 so I don’t know if it’s actually from 1937 or if the original design started being printed in 1937. Either way this rocks I’m so happy
I’m still waiting on one more! Very excited. It’s the one with the sad looking dog I posted a pic of a little while back lol

Inside view of Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, no vehicles visible. Tiled walls; walkway along road. Printed on front: "4. Detroit-Windsor tunnel. 1A1172." Printed on back: "The Detroit-Windsor tunnel is 5,135 feet in length and cost $25,000,000. It required 2 1/2 years to complete same. The top of the tunnel is 45 feet and the roadway 75 feet underwater. It required 80,000 cubic feet of concrete, 11,000 tons of structural and 750 tons of reenforcing steel. 20,000 granite blocks were used in building the roadway. Capacity is 2000 cars per hour. C.T. American Art Colored. C.T. Co., Chicago."

Curt Teich was a major post card manufacturer based in Chicago. They occupied huge buildings at Irving Park Road and Ravenswood. (still extent but converted) The Teich collection of post cards and images holds the history of 20th century America.
