Boruto stated to be 5 and Himawari stated to be 3.

9-10 Years After 4th Ninja War

So Boruto is probably 6-7 and Himawari 4-5, Boruto’s birthday in March and Himawari’s birthday in Aug, 2 years age difference, Naruto had Boruto at 20 turning 21 that year and had Himawari at 22 turning 23 that year.

Mirai is seeing team team 15 trying to find cats, making Mirai 16 Mirai is 4 years older than Boruto and Boruto graduated the academy at 12 meaning Mirai is 16 at the time.

At the start of this Manga it starts of as Mirai as a Genin chasing Cat at this time Kakashi is still hokage, this would have to take place before Boruto was 7 and after he was 5 meaning 5-7 but age of graduating Academy is 11 or 12 unless Mirai somehow graduated early so possibly at 9 turning 10 that year.

While Novel is different doesn’t show Mirai as a kid Genin and it takes place when Boruto is in academy it takes place after chapter 700 but because manga shows them as genin then it takes place after they graduate academy and not while there in academy, so the Novel version takes place after Chapter 700 and Before Naruto Gaiden The Seventh Hokage and Scarlet Spring.

Let me tell you something first and then I tell you why that matters so much right now...

Why would Korn.. of all people.. hand Porsche power??

Because he is not scared of Porsche, he has enough cards in his hands to manipulate Porsche ..

Kinn, Chay, His mother...

Korn has all the cards actually... Porsche is Korn's only way to control Kinn... and to some extend ... to control Kim ... because I don't believe even for a second that he has no idea about Chay and Kim...

don't even try to tell me that they (all combined) have not been watched and monitored every step of the way... I don't believe THAT!!

and that scene in the end where Khun takes their pic and send it to Korn... God.... it's the sign... the game is afoot.... and let's not go down the rabbit hole that i don't believe for a second that Khun is harmless because I think this chess game of Korn has way way more people playing it...

now one last thing before I get back to the ring...

by taking that ring off Vegas's finger and letting Pete go.. Korn might have done his own undoing... because Vegas is not his father... he doesn't seek power, he doesn't trust power anymore.. and when Korn told him I will take care of you and your brother.. it sets the wheel in motion ..

I Personally thought and I understood that the frame of it meant... you are next now that your father is dead

but back to the point... and if pete is there.. he will not seek revenge for the man who tormented him... because revenge will drive pete away.. and we cannot have that...

Let me tell you that in my culture... (I am Egyptian...) Gold wedding rings are mostly for women... and men's rings are rarely gold..

I remember that for days it felt odd for me so I keeping going back and checked which is which... and if you take that into consideration... you realize that the close up scene on the rings means more than it lets on...

you get where this is going...

it's so small but it's a declaration that they will never be on equal foot... it will be their own undoing.. it will strain them...

Notice the hands... not holding each other... not entwining.... Kinn's hand is above... Because he has the Upper hand... Literally

So when he says we will be one.... you cannot just believe that...

because Porsche knows... he knows kinn cannot stand in front of his father... he never did and never will... and it will be their undoing... because Porsche will not be played... he didn't come all this way only to come all this way...

and in his seek of the truth.. he will shake hand with vegas again.... because if Pete trusts vegas... Porsche trusts them both...

and as the time goes and the mysteries increase.. he will lose trust in Kinn..

and I think in the end it will all come down to whether Kinn is willing to take his blindfold off and see the things for what they are or not...

Oh & you know why because Kinn can & would die for Porsche -we have seen that already- .. but he cannot and would not - if not pressured enough - confront his father...

I am 100% Sure, that Korn let Kinn be with Porsche because he knew who he was, and what would happen if push comes to shove and he discovers that Korn Killed Porsche's Father...

it was not just Korn who knew, I am sure that either Khun or Gun knew too

Which results in 2 cannons..

Kinn is 100% under Korn's control, Korn knows this, Khun knows too, that's why he was surprised when Kinn said that he really loves Porsche.. because it was showing weakness to his father for the first time after Tiwan.

Korn did kill Porsche's father... I have no doubt about it, and the state of Porsche's mom is not just a thing.. it's being induced..

I think that's why Korn gave Porsche the minor family, to make an enemy out of Vegas for him, because other than this, both people would get along just fine, and with Pete in the equation, they would get along really fine...

but with the current situation, it's going to be all mingled, and it would take time for Vegas to trust Porsche and for Porsche to realize he has no power at all, he is being played in order to just remain in the dark.

it's no longer a chess games, and if it is.. I don't know who is playing against Korn... because all of them are pieces now.

and there's a thing I noticed and fits with the whole thing I said before that the board usually resets

So..... let me spare you how this thought got into my head.....

But ever noticed how similar Vegas and Kinn are... in regards to their fathers...

Let me elaborate...

Both boys are seeking their father's approval. Despite the way but at the end of the day Kinn is a toy in Korn hands the same way Vegas was a toy in Gun hands... the method might be different but the fundamental similarities are there

Both have lovers that they should not have fallen for ... I don't think in a million year Gun would have let Vegas be with Pete... and i don't think Korn would have let Kinn be with Porchse if he wouldn't benefit from it on the long run... he had to go with the flow or else all things would have led to Porchse killing him without kinn protection.

Both boys cannot face their fathers.... aka ep 14.... you have Vegas who tells Porsche that what's next is up to his father but he wouldn't let anyone touch Pete. And you have Kinn who covers his father against Porsche.

Taking all of this into consideration I have 2 things to add here

Gun had to go because that was the only way Vegas can be freed... that's the only way he can be with Pete... that's the only way he can be a proper man on him own. And that was the only way things can move forward...

If Gun didn't die that day... Vegas would have lost Pete .... and Pete must have realized that Vegas can be salvaged now that Gun is dead

It would all come down to Korn being faced.. by any/all of his 3 boys... and trust me when I say this... I have a gut feeling that Khun is going to come into major play later on...

It's some sort of a cycle and I believe Korn is trying to Avoid a certain things from repeating which is making them repeat more violently nonetheless 🤔

sooooo, it's raining cats and dogs here and that got me thinking..

Ever wondered why Vegas, Porsche and Kinn has younger brothers ? in the spectrum of storyline/Series..

so you have Vegas - extremely bad - a very very proper older brother, and Porsche - Extremely good - a very very proper older brother

and then there's Kinn... who barely talks to his younger brother, the exact younger brother who went into lengths to know whether Porsche can protect his older brother or not..

that got me thinking... who is the ticking bomb here...

it kind of sets all the red alarms in my head, because Porchay and Macau didn't meet yet in the series.. but if they do.. they might be the card to bring Pete, Porsche and Vegas in one team.. because Macau and Porchay have been protected by their older brothers this entire time and nothing and no one will change that... which means that Vegas and Porsche would have something in common already, a middle ground if you may say..

they both wants to protect their brothers.. from Korn and from the family

but on the other hand you have Kinn.. who is both a younger and an older brother.. and let me just say he fails as an older one.. but then... he is a younger brother to Khun..

I know.. I am spinning in a circle.. but take the situation of Vegas and Porsche and try to (CTRL +V) on Khun.. it would make some sense..

Perhaps the fact that Khun is the way he is and the way he acts despite being super smart is that he is a buffer to protect his younger brother as well, the exact same task that Kinn fails horribly to understand and mimic..

I think... the edge here was not about protecting lovers mainly.. that has already been done..

I think it would be a battle to protect brothers.. to protect younger brothers in particular..

The theory about ‘Sukuna’s going to eat (or try to eat) Megumi’ has a high probability to come true

This theory is cross-posted on posted on reddit. Contains spoilers for non-manga readers.

I know that (some) people are sick of this, but I’d like to point out something I’ve noticed from u/bushwarblerssong's post about the urban legend that inspired Gege to create Sukuna, which I think supports the ‘Sukuna will (try to) eat Megumi’ theory.

Gege said he created Sukuna based on an urban legend thread that was posted on 2chan.

The summary of this urban legend thread;

> A construction worker found a 2 meter wooden box with ‘Ryoman Sukuna ??? is sealed’ written on it at the old temple his company was demolishing. Fyi he was the one who posted the thread, so I’ll refer to him as 2chan guy just like bushwarblerssong did on their post.

> 2chan guy called the former priest of the temple & told him about the box.

> The priest told 2chan guy to not open the box.

> Two of 2chan guy’s coworkers opened the box for fun, then they became sick (mute + dazed) & hospitalized (few days later one of them died due to heart attack while the other became mentally unstable).

> That box contained a mummy of two conjoined twins.

> 2chan guy called the priest again. The priest came with his son and took the box. 2chan guy asked the priest’s son about the mummy.

> Priest’s son confirmed the mummy was indeed a pair of conjoined twins. The twins were purchased by Mononobe who was a leader of a religious sect & then the twins got locked inside a secret chamber with other prisoners who also had deformities. They all cannibalized each other there.

> Mononobe was interested in the twins & wanted the twins to become the sole survivor, so he stabbed other prisoners before he threw the twins there.

> The twins survived & Mononobe turned them into a mummy while they were still alive (by starving them). Then he named them Ryomen (Two Faces) Sukuna.

And here’s the interesting part, quoting bushwarblerssong;

To increase the mummy’s power, Mononobe filled Ryomen Sukuna’s stomach with a fine powder made from the crushed bones of ancient “traitorous clans” (like the Emishi or Tsuchigumo) eradicated by the Imperial Court.

Doesn’t the Zen’in kinda fit this label? Since they are in the process of getting removed from the three great families.

Maki and Megumi are also deemed as traitors by the Zen’in clan, and perhaps by the Jujutsu Society/higher ups as well. Because they’re currently trying to free Gojo. Plus Megumi is on Yuji’s side and the higher ups clearly see Yuji as evil/dangerous and they want Yuji (Sukuna) dead.

Anyway, Sukuna has a mouth on his stomach so it matches the urban legend. I’m guessing Mononobe cut open the stomach of the Urband Legend Sukuna so he could stuff it with the bone powder, thus creating the second mouth.

A huge mouth also exists in Sukuna’s domain expansion.

His domain expansion is called Fukumamizushi (伏魔御廚子) in Japanese. Fukuma (伏魔) means a place where demons hide while Mizushi (御廚子) means the place inside the palace where the emperor eats or the kitchen.

The name of Sukuna’s DE can be taken as “Sukuna’s kitchen” or “Emperor Sukuna’s dining place.”

“The kitchen of all deaths is here!!”

His innate domain also looks like the inside of a stomach.

So far Sukuna’s innate techniques are all related to cooking (Knives; dismantle and cleaves/filleting*, and Fire; flames |*the kanji hachi 捌 also means filleting fish) and we’ve seen him talking about his enemies in cooking term. He even 'employs' Uraume because of Uraume’s cooking skill.

Q: How long has Uraume known Sukuna?

A: Uraume has known Sukuna for 1000 years. Uraume is a human who’s allowed to stand next to Sukuna because Uraume could make delicious food. Uraume is also a sorcerer.

Q: Is Uraume a chef?

A: Sukuna likes to eat people, but it’s difficult to cook them, or rather only few people have the experience, but Uraume is excellent at this.

This character introduction implies that the reason why Sukuna allows Uraume to become his (only) follower is because of Uraume’s cooking skill. Weren't Uraume a good cook, Sukuna most likely wouldn't keep Uraume around.

Also, let’s not forget that it’s also mentioned in the official fanbook that Sukuna finds the most pleasure in eating.

三枚おろし is a culinary term for filleting a fish (into three slices).

味見 means tasting. The fight is a literal taste test for him.

The motif of eating and cooking is heavily emphasized on Sukuna. Even the way he gains control of Yuji’s body began with eating (Yuji ate Sukuna’s finger). Moreover Yuji is also a good cook, he taught Megumi to make meatballs.

(FYI in Gifu prefecture, there’s a giant dish called "Sukuna nabe" or Sukuna stew. Apparently this dish can serve approximately 2500 people. Gifu prefecture was the Hida province back then. It’s said that people of Hida liked Sukuna & considered him as a hero because he defeated a poisonous dragon and a demon called Shichina)

These are the reasons why I believe Sukuna will eat someone later, or at least try to. I’m willing to bet a huge amount of money on this. That mouth on his stomach isn’t there just for decorating, it’s for eating.

And since his interest is solely on Megumi, it’s logical to assume Megumi will become his prey in the future.

I mean, who else fits this position beside Megumi? The other person Sukuna acknowledges is Gojo (so far only Gojo and Megumi are referred to with their full names by Sukuna) but that acknowledgement doesn’t seem to go beyond killing—revenge against Gojo for humiliating him in ch 2/ep 3.

IMO if Sukuna does end up eating humans again later, the very first person he eats would be someone whom he considers special, like a fine grade-A ingredient. Basically the human version of wagyu beef or bluefin tuna.

He wouldn't eat just anybody, at least not at first, because it's stated in the fanbook that "it's difficult to cook them (humans)." So I don't think he would reserve such meticulous preparation for random nobodies. Besides it'd be his first meal after a thousand years of being sealed, so it's gotta be special.

And for what reason? Why would he want to eat Megumi? And why not now? Why wait?

Like many others I believe he wants to absorb Megumi’s power or ability once Megumi reaches his full potential, similar to what Getwo/Kenjaku did with Mahito to cast Maximum Uzumaki in order to create his ideal world, and also similar to the Urband Legend Sukuna ("to increase power").

u/Astral_M explained this in their post about the body is equal to the soul, thus consuming the body is equal to consuming the soul. Quoting them;

Because Sukuna's fingers (part of his body == soul) were preserved, his core of cursed energy is preserved. And Yuji is evidence of a very important concept: Consuming someone's body counts as consuming their cursed core, inheriting their technique!

I’ve seen multiple versions of translation/interpretations of this, the most common one is “Sukuna wants to create his ideal world with Megumi” I’m not trying to be nitpicking here but this version contains a different meaning from the one I screenshot, because it implies Sukuna wants Megumi to work together with him...... and I doubt that's exactly what Sukuna has in mind. I'm assuming the one I screenshot is the correct (more accurate) version because WAYA is a native Japanese speaker.

Also I think it's worth to note that it's not Gege who said this, it’s the interviewer. Gege’s answer/respond to it was fully censored, so we don’t know whether he actually agreed with this notion or not.

Megumi either dies in Sukuna/Yuji’s hands (depends if they manage to separate, I'm betting Sukuna's going to merge with Yuji though, because it fits the theme; conjoined twins + two faces), or he lives, because clearly Sukuna wouldn’t allow others to kill him.

two years had gone by now, two years had she been a trainee. she had definitely improved in many things, gained skills she never even thought about gaining. however truth be it, sori was really just kind of average in everything when it came to legacy. in school she’s the smartest, she’s the best at physical things, but here in legacy she feels as if she only has her dancing skill. but it’s been two years now, she can’t keep being average at everything.

when the casting call came she wasn’t sure what to respond with. the obvious choice to make would be trying to go for the dance since she’s a much better dancer than actress. but, she cannot keep only doing dancing, she must try to become better at other things too.

so she chose acting.

“hello!” she bows down deeply, “i am cha sori, i am currently nineteen years old, today i have decided to show some acting. today i have chosen the series ‘sunny again tomorrow’ (from ep. 119, 31.49-33.49)”. she takes a step back, a deep breath in. the female looks up, around ten seconds passes and she’s ready.

tears flowing down her eyes, “jinhue, jinhue”, she looks into the camera, her voice flows out while she cries, her throat hoarse, she’s putting everything into this as she can. she wants this, she must make it.

“i’ll now present the next scene, where i’ll be pretending i’m walking in the ocean”

“hwang jieun?! have you gone mad?!” her voice loud, soon the tears come back, she talks with fear, she tries her best to capture the scene. she falls back, pretends as if she has been pushed, she keeps saying out her lines, trying to put as much emotion into them as possible.

a new scene, and the last scene comes, and sori sits on her knees, begging. she’s never begged anyone before, so that might be a difficulty, but she’s sure she can do this.

NCT Dream Is All Grown Up and Ready to Show What They Can Do

On a warm, late summer evening of 2016 in Seoul, South Korea, seven boys hoverboarded right into the most defining experience of their youth. Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung, then aged 17 to 14 years old, were making their debut as NCT Dream — a subunit focused on the youngest forces of SM Entertainment’s mega-group NCT. Their first title track, “Chewing Gum,” was as bubbly as its name, with choreography that required nimble maneuvers on the two-wheeled vehicle.

Fast forward nearly five years, and the Dreamies — as they are commonly known — are ready to cross another major threshold in their lives. Their highly-anticipated, 1.7 million-seller first studio album, Hot Sauce, is out today (May 10).

A few days before that, the members huddled together for a conversation with Teen Vogue via Zoom. Clad in black hoodies, face masks, and a few bucket hats, the initial impression is a striking contrast to the vivid atmosphere of their bright, cartoonish teasers for this promo cycle. Rather, this is NCT Dream in the blue hour, right at that moment of transition between the haze of preparations and the awakened reality of their most prominent comeback so far.

“We haven’t even started the actual promotions yet, but just from receiving this much love and support from our fans, we feel very touched, very, very inspired and supported,” says leader and eldest member Mark. Today, he’s wearing a pair of round glasses that complement his laidback, chill nature, while his expressive hands ruffle through his ocean blue hair, settling across his chest in an embrace. “We’re just focusing on how we can return the love that we received from them through our music.”

To say NCT Dream have grown — in all competencies — is not only obvious, but a meager understatement. Through their four EPs, the hoverboards became cardboard cars, then bikes, then motorcycles. Voices deepened, limbs grew longer, jawlines became sharper. And with all that, a number of accolades and records followed. Hot Sauce is currently the best-selling album among all releases from SM Entertainment. And out of all four current NCT units, the Dreamies were the first to receive a music show win, for 2017’s single “My First and Last,” and the first no. 1 on Korea’s largest music chart, Melon, with 2020’s “Ridin.” They received numerous prizes in Korean award shows, collaborated with English singer HRVY, released a single with American boy band Prettymuch, and also became global ambassadors of the World Scout Foundation in 2019 (an experience that culminated in viral mosh pits during the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia).

“When we debuted as teens, a lot of our music was very bright and cheerful, and that went with our age,” says the lavender-haired Jisung, who is the youngest of the group at 19. Although they are still the same endearing rascals off stage — the most chaotic footvolley game ever comes to mind — they have now “transitioned through all these phases, and with each of them we were able to show a higher level of maturity,” he adds.

In that way, Hot Sauce is their most seasoned effort yet. “We wanted to show NCT Dream’s charms through this ‘hot sauce’ vibe,” says the suave Jaemin, whose attentive eyes remain locked on the screen for most of the interview. “We have a showcase coming up where we plan to show a lot of our b-side tracks for the fans, so we’re very excited for that.” According to Haechan, the resident ray-of-sunshine of the group and owner of one of the most unique vocal colors of K-pop, they prepared a long time for this moment, and want to “show off that spicy side.”

Show off might be the best word choice indeed, as NCT Dream has dabbled with fire plenty of times before in their discography. Think of the rubbery, sticky synths of 2018’s “Drippin’” and its lyrics about a soaking wet love, or the dangerous atmosphere in 2019’s “119,” where they call themselves “twisted” and say “I like it like that.” In Hot Sauce, what was once un condimento is now a full course meal.

The album stimulates the eyes through the psychedelic TV ad-meets-taquería of the “Hot Sauce” music video, the nostalgic ‘90s photography of the teasers, the zany illustrations of the album packaging. For the ears, a 10-track collection of scorching pop with Latin and Afrobeat-inspired sounds (“Hot Sauce,” “Rocket”) and trap and hip hop — “Diggity”, “Countdown (3, 2, 1)”, “ANL” — but also soothing balms like the soft rock of “Dive Into You” and the crystalline vocals of “Rainbow,” a track co-written by Mark, Jeno, Jaemin, and Jisung, where they express “words we want to tell our fans,” according to Shanghai-born star Chenle.

That is because the Dreamies have a special reverence for Dreamzens, their fans. If it wasn’t for their support, the group’s fate could look much different now. Although it might seem counterintuitive in hindsight, the original concept for NCT Dream was to be a rotational unit. Members would “graduate” once they reached 20 years old in Korea (19 internationally), and younger, fresher faces would be added to the ensemble. It can be said that NCT Dream embodied the core concept of NCT as a whole: they held the promise of youth, its shifting nature, and the willingness to dream. But to come of age on screen and experience such foundational moments of life together begets a lingering bond — a transformation that can’t be nullified so easily.

In December 2018, Mark was the first to leave — and the last.

Dreamzens knew how special the original lineup (dubbed 7DREAM until today) was, and stood by his return and the establishment of a fixed unit. In 2020, they rejoiced as SM Entertainment finally decided to scrap the graduation concept altogether and announce Mark’s return. Hot Sauce is their first comeback since this news. “When I heard that I was coming back, I realized how big of an opportunity this could be,” says Mark. “And not only that, but to be able to be part of our first full-length album, I felt like I was lucking [out]. It all comes with the timing and everything, so, from all angles, I felt like the world helped out on this, and that our fans helped out a lot too.”

The members are thankful for his return, too. “I like the members the most!” exclaims Chenle when asked about his favorite part of the comeback. At one point in the conversation, Haechan grabs Mark’s hand and dramatically declares, in English: “Mark, you are very special. NCT Dream means Mark.” He looks at the screen to make sure this moment is being registered. Flustered, Mark quickly pulls away and laughs it off as Jisung chimes in. “All the members have their own uniqueness, their own specialties, that’s the charm of NCT Dream.”

Soft-spoken Renjun, whose half-platinum, half-black locks are hidden underneath a beige cap, explains that he and his bandmates didn’t think much about the impending graduation when they debuted. “Especially because it was the [original] system for NCT groups, we just accepted that fact,” Renjun says. “But now that NCT Dream is fixed, there’s a lot of enthusiasm to come up with new concepts and ideas, and we’re very excited to show them.”

Jeno, whose sweet-eyed smile contrasts with his commanding rap and dance skills, says that they went through a lot of lessons and experiences since debut, but that the greatest one was “learning what we’re able to do and show in our stages, and through that, finding ways to connect with our fans and make sure they enjoy it.” After all, as Chenle adds, NCT Dream means “being able to dream the same dreams with our members and our fans.”

For now, they are ready to bask in the flavorful glory of this era, and all the outcomes it will bring. “One of our goals when we debuted was to bring happiness and healing to people’s lives, and we do feel like we were able to achieve that,” says Renjun.

“Our fans witnessed it all from the start. We grew together, so now it’s time to show what it is like with NCT Dream being adults,” adds Mark. “We can be a perfect example of what growth and development look like.”
