The whole transandrophobia discussion thing is weird bc it feels like it's a bunch of poc and jewish trans people being like "here are my experiences of how specifically being MASCULINE had affected me, and the discrimination and violence I experienced based on that. And here is how that relates to me being a racial/ethnic minority"

And then a few loud white trans people going "ohhh you wanna be oppressed so bad you *slur*. This is why there aren't any poc in your movement it's because REAL poc understand intersectionality"

#hot take white culturally christian or athiest leftests do not properly interpret white jewish ppl #like as a poc i and other poc understand that white jewish ppl often get racial privilege #but a) not always b) they experience oppression based off of their ethnicity #idk from my perspective it seems like white goyim either see jewish ppl as 'the disgusting exotic enemy' or 'basically WASPS but they #wanna feel special'#with no nuance. no recognition #look maybe this next part is bc i didnt grow up with jewish ppl and therefore didnt know until I was 18/19 that jewish ppl can count as #white. but like. idk how to say this. i dont wanna speak over white jewish ppl. but like.#jewish ppl that have obvious jewish features (whether Ashkenazi facial features OR they dont have those but wear eg kippahs)#arent like. white. idk pls correct me if this is antisemitic or incorrect or something.#but like. light skinned =/= white obviously.#i just struggle to see how my bestfriend with her lovely dark eyes and curls and nice nose counts as 'white' when ppl call her the k slur #across the street. ykwim?#like white doesnt mean light skinned. it means 'part of the in-group of white ppl'#like my ex who is white and jewish? yeah hes white. if he didnt wear his necklace then goyim wouldnt know. you know #like obvs he still experiences ethnic oppression but he doesnt experience racial oppression #but other ppl with more prominent eg ashkenazi (im singling them out bc most jewish ppl here are ash.) like i dont GET how they have racial #privilege.

i have nothing to base this on besides the fact that i think old-timey spectacles would improve his look and also he is sitting reading in an office 24/7 and you expect me to think this man still has 20/20 vision? lol.

what about how Bilbo probably couldn’t meet pippin and merry’s eyes for the longest time because every time he saw them, all he could see was fili and kili ☹️

how many times did bilbo almost slip up and call the hobbits by names that were not their own but all bilbo could see was that same mischievous twinkle he saw in those two young dwarves eyes?

how many years would it be before the hobbits realized why gandalf was so hard on them? why bilbo had stopped looking at them with such devastation on his face but could not hide the anguish in his eyes?

bilbo never told any of the young hobbits his full journey, always making everything seem more heroic and thrilling than the profound loss everyone suffered in The Company. It probably wasn’t until Frodo left with his uncle that merry and pippin realized why the old hobbit could never truly meet their eyes when sam let them read the book containing both of their journeys ☹️

“Set a man to watch all night…”

Hummed, muffled words echoed through the Negotiator’s halls, around corners, behind doors. Every clone, every natborn was on edge, hunted look around their eyes and shoulders. The lights seemed to flicker childhood-bright but to the instruments everything was as it should be.

The campaign had ended so abruptly. A shadow falling over the battlefield like a sun eclipse, Cody’s General… dissolved. For no reason he could discern. Just the perception of Obi-Wan suddenly wavering, literally going up in smoke, and rushing to the sentient enemy commander with a rolling mass of dead groans and screams.

White as a sheet, cowering behind a tank where the smoke left them, the enemy General had begged Cody to accept their capitulation.

Obi-Wan had gone back to his duties, face placid and unassuming. Like nothing of notice had even happened. Cody shivered.

It was the silenced air that had goosebumps break out on Cody’s arms. A forced absence of sounds concentrated in Obi-Wan’s quarters. It let Cody hear the things it wanted him aware of only. Suggestions to his senses he should heed. The steady drip of thick liquid. The blue night-sky-glowing where Obi-Wan’s eyes were supposed to be calm, stormy in color. Not…this.

“General?” Cody asked quietly, eyes adjusting to the dark room. “Obi-Wan? Are you alright?”

“I’ve never felt better, my dear.”

“Are you—“ The lights turned on with a too-loud click and buzz, too bright and Kamino-white. Cody squeezed his eyes shut just to escape.

After a moment he opened them again, blinked against the information his head was picking up automatically. Suppressed the swallow at seeing dark things drip from Obi-Wan’s fingers, onto the table, the floor, his lips. “Are you sure?” Because this seemed anything but okay.

“I am what I’m supposed to be,” Obi-Wan said, almost singing the words, voice melodious and a terror pin pricking Cody’s neck.
