BMW Sun Wukong x fem Princess of the underworld.. (Hear me out!) Reader’s the Daughter of King Yama (the king of the Underworld) and grew instantly smitten with The Monkey King back when he scratched his name out of the book of life and death in his younger days…
King Yama finds out about Reader’s growing affection and as punishment, banishes her to the mortal realm and out of his protection.. in hopes of scaring her away from the dangers of Mortals and the fickleness of Love.
However seeing as she’s still a Goddess of Blood and Rebirth, she kinda sticks out like a sore thumb among Humans, Spirits and Yaoguais.. eventually Catching Wukong’s eye.. (he also recognizes her as the pretty young thing he saw in the underworld. Though he’s too proud to ever admit he was swayed at all by her striking beauty.)
After Wukong saves her from an ambitious Yaoguai who tried to Force her to be their Bride… He ends up taking her to his Mountain kingdom and declaring her under HIS protection.. growing more and more curious about WHY she banished in the first place…. and her getting extremely flustered and refusing to answer him.. (She can’t exactly bring herself to tell him “Oh it’s because I fell in love with you back when you terrorized my Father’s kingdom”)
With Sun Wukong (the absolute SHAMELESS sinful little flirty bastard he is, and we love him for it~) eventually Courting her and making her His Queen..
This would be amazing and I would read the absolute hell out of it! You have such a good plan going and I would love to read something like this 🫶🫶🫶🫶 I’m sorry I dont have a full Drabble for it, I really did think about it a lot but its your wonderful brain nugget and I think it deserves a chance!
I’m not sure if you’re okay with others writing it, so I wont sit here and say ‘free use’ but I do think this is an awesome idea 🥰

Lil' analysis of the Rufus/ Elena scene crumbs in Rebirth
I'm doing this for fun but organize my thoughts and keep tracks of things I've noticed about them while also giving some food for thoughts if there's people interested in that ship.
Here's i'm gonna analyze the scenes.
I will later write about design & symbolism , their arcs, their personnalities, relationship & how they perceive each other ,what Rebirth add to the rest of the compilation as well what road can we can potentially expect for the story of Rufus & the Turks in part 3 in general.
The Mythril Mines scene:
Here, we get get a great way to establish her character. Elena is the one who is curious and asks questions while the others try to not think about their orders much. As someone new, she also has an unique POV as the mysteries unfold in front of her.
It's also a great way to show that her superiors don't tell her everything, which may cause problem in the future as Elena is a self-righteous & rather independant person who sometime disobey orders.
They also did a great job showcasing her ruthless side & also sublty hint what drives her.
The helicopter scene en-route for the Gold Saucer with Palmer:
Tumblr media
Here, Elena is shown being not scared to use Rufus' authority to shut up a member of the Board. Despite the space program being shut down, we still have to remember that Elena is a new employee & that Palmer is her senior by decades & used to be a friend of Rufus' father. Despite the hierarchical difference, Elena's is pretty assertive for a new employee & doesn't hesitate to borrow Rufus' authority to have Palmer stop complaining & contesting Rufus' decision to send him there in a sassy manner.
The Gongaga proto-relic sidequest:
After you're done with one of the Gongaga VR mission in the Turks facility, Elena is shown without hesitation ushering Rufus & him acknowledging her. We see that she's not scared of him & both of seem to have a respectful & cordial relationship.
I noted the interesting composition of the shot tho.
Tumblr media
First, they didn't have to animate this. They could just had have Rufus says his line about the player performance & then leave. But they still wanted to showcase that little moment between the two of them for some reason.
Second, the way the camera zoom-in on them while putting Rude on the foreground but almost push him out of the frame as he's watching them, as if the devs really want you to pay attention to that interaction.
Third, Elena is the rookie. Thus the one who should address Rufus directly should be her seniors. However, Rufus & Elena address each other directly, with the latter talking to him confidently.
This also happens right after we see Rufus complaining about Tseng wanting to assign him bodyguards & saying he didn't need any so you would expect he would be annoyed that the babiest Turk would try to usher him away or have him ignore her. We saw how he can get with Heidegger in Remake not calling him "Mr.President". But he doesn't.
Fourth, it's clear here there was a whole switcheroos between roles due to Reno's jpn VA passing away.
In this mission, Rude & Elena address you as if you were Reno (Rude call you partner & Elena reffer to you as "senpaï" .
Reno however, already has a lot of experiences after all this years working for the Turks. My guess is that originally, those VR missions were destined to Elena.
It makes more sense, to prepare her to what the Turks' life is. VR Rufus is also already president too. If you do well during that mission, Rufus is willing to offer you whatever you want. Would that mean he made such proposition to Elena at one point? (is this how she got her pink gun which has strangely a white belt on & black buttons & is studed with diamonds?)
The flight to the Gold Saucer with Rufus:
During that scene, we're shown that Elena is curious & independant, making her a great intelligence officer material. The second she learns about the Promised Land, she decide to study the subject in the hopes to understand it better & the significance for Shinra. She then admit that it was actually a good idea to let Aerith run around so they can follow her.
It immediately switch from her to Darkstar waking up & curiously looking at Rufus. People who played the game in english however may have missed out an interesting audio detail: In the japanese dub, you can understand the reason why Darkstar woke up as you can hear Rufus do his signature (satisfied) "hmph" and him chuckling to himself while looking at window. It's even more audible in the french version as well.
D waking up & looking at Rufus curiously make it feel like it's an unusual occurence. Maybe he's just thinking about something & laugh to himself but it's also likely the game is implying Rufus was silently listening to her.
It's interesting because he is rarely framed that way. Most of the time he's the center of the room & the conversation, leading it. He addresses his employees & doesn't give more info than what's necessary. Even with Tseng, he often has his back to him & only turn around when he needs to make a point or when something intrigue him.
Added to that, letting Aerith go to follow her was Rufus' plan. Elena basically indirectly complimented him, which could be the reason why he's chuckling to himself. We never got to see him reacting this way to someone until now. For comparison, Heidegger compliment him when he decide to fire Sister Ray during chapter 4 & he didn't get any reaction from Rufus. But he's seemingly happy to get Elena's approval?
The chapter 12 tussle & rumble with Elena, Rude & Rufus.
For a start, we have to talk about how stupid this plan is as the Turks & Rufus could have just stolen the keystone, either by using Rufus'authority or burglarize the place while Dio & Avalanche were looking away. Rufus didn't also have to be there. Shinra is on the brink of a war but he instead decide to go on a trip ( it probably took a least 1 or 2 days for them to go from Midgar & reach the GS) I may have my speculations on why he's acting this way tho.
Rude, Elena & Rufus have beef with Avalanche so we can assume they went with that plan to settle their grudge by beating the shit of each other. However, the plan at first seemed to be for only Rude & Elena to fight, not Rufus. During the battle, you can hear Rufus calling Dio. It's a scripted event that only happen when you stagger Rude or Elena during the second phase of the combat (and there's chances it is Elena due to her weaker constitution). Did Rufus get protective of the Turks, which is what pushed him to suddenly participate?
Then there's the scene where he appears in the arena. While the duel between Cloud & Rufus is the main event, it's interesting to note we just have a quick zoom out on Cloud's face to show his reaction while it lingers more on the Turks & in particular Elena. There's a quick scene where Tseng calm down an excited & likely worried for his master, D. Then it switch to Elena asking what he's doing. Rufus notice her as his head turns toward her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elena is the most on focus while Rude in the background is blurred.
Tumblr media
And we get this kind of smile from Rufus who's still looking at her while waving to the public. He looks softer than usual.
Tumblr media
Then his face immediately switch to this when he turns to Cloud.
Tumblr media
He answering her by making a show of himself. And then it's switch again to an annoyed & worried Elena. Once again, she's the point of focus while Rude is blurred.
Tumblr media
Rufus then tell them to go join Tseng. And here we can see that he's addressing Elena (when he should address Rude) directly as his eyes are turned toward her & then turns back to Cloud while Elena can't help herself but emit a defeated sigh.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here we're seeing that she stays herself around Rufus, trying to contest his decisions & everything. Not scared of him & not scared to show her annoyance at her boss' dumbass behavior.
Added to that, Cloud is seen asking the two party members who fought with him until now to leave him for that 1 on 1 fight. One of these two party members always turns out to be one of his love interests.
Once again, we're shown he actually pays attention to Elena, thought Rebirth is actually not the only time this happens. That whole exchange remind me of that moment between Reno & Rude in TKAA:
Tumblr media
Which could explain as well Rude's reaction to Cloud being like "oh, poor you!" when Rufus is revealed to be alive in Advent Children. The game weigh even more on the idea that Rufus is emotionnally immature and insecure. Like Evan.
And Rufus' attitude is pretty Evan like in the way he takes risks while Elena is often compared to Kyrie by the fandom. Elena & Kyrie are fierce, morally ambiguous women who cause trouble to their group but also can be shown to be level-headed at times. Kyrie also chide & tries to confront Evan about his reckless side. Both of them could almost be considered as darker versions of these two characters. If the brothers have similar tastes in term of potential partners, well…
I think it's also interesting to note that Rufus is far more pissed about losing than during the first duel in Remake, added with Cloud poking at his insecurities.
The departure to the temple of the ancients:
This is a really interesting scene as it's a great way to show the group dynamic & Elena's potential importance after the company's crumble post- Meteorfall. Here, Elena is shown openly critisizing Rufus' decision to send them & a nice chunk of the army to the Temple of the Ancients, knowing the risks.
Rude, Reno & Tseng are shown being fine going along with whatever orders Rufus give them while Elena has her doubts & interrogations and rightfully so. Sending so many people there is a reckless move & she ended up being proven right. ( I could go on a tangent on how Elena could be a great partner to him due to the way she questions things. There's a difference between loyalty & sycophanty. And from the first scene with the Board or even Sister ray, what he needs is loyal people with enough backbone to challenge & give him the right advices. Which is what Elena represents)
However this were my beef with the english localization is coming in & how people who rely on it may have missed some nuances to the whole exchange:
In the eng version, she goes on how Rufus accompagnying the expedition is a bad idea but on brand with his character.
However in the jpn & french localization when Rude tells her Rufus is coming with them, Elena ask what he means & Reno says it's expected of him/it's not surprising. Elena says it's dangerous but that also that she doesn't dislike Rufus' decision to come with them, which is peak tsundere attitude.
Tumblr media
While I think her eng VA did a great job overall, the direction also constantly make her sounds aggressive, even during moments when she's not.
So yeah the first version is just a statement on Rufus' behavior.
The second version give nuance on how Elena perceive Rufus. Yes, it's dangerous for him to do that but it also help her settle down a bit. She likes the fact he is participating in this.
It's also a great way to show why he has so much sway with the Turks, as Reno, Rude & Elena enjoy some of thrills that come with the job and Rufus is the same.
The compilation always frustrated me with the way their relationship has interesting tidbits but was often glossed over. I was surprised with the way Rebirth depicted these two as I considered myself lucky if we actually got them together in the same frame but we instead got a few interactions & them reacting to each other in a way that is pretty informative about their own characters but also how their dynamic would work.
It's pretty close of the interpretation I had always had for Ruiri/Rulena/Rufena: the type of ship that belong in the power couple category, similar opposites who challenge each other in a way that support them due to their strong personnalities & position while navigating thru their professional & personnal life with a fun dynamic to boot.

Ok!!! Here are some based on old Russian and Serbian tales (I'm Russian):
1. A poroniec is a hostile and malicious demon from Slavic mythology. They were believed to come into existence from stillborn fetuses, but also from improperly buried remains of children who had died during infancy.
Porónce are shapeshifters, immortal and able to take any form, but they're usually seen in the form of a horrifying-looking baby, an adult human, or an owl.
So, maybe a woman named Anastasia (Russian regal name meaning "rebirth") who is found sleeping under the floorboards (if she was buried under the house) or at the bottom of a well (if she was thrown in). She had started there as a stillborn child but grew to a full woman
Signature characteristics:
Horrible posture (from growing to an adult inside a tiny enclosed space)
Hatred for the concept of family (or at least, perceived. Really she is jealous of the love ordinary children recieve)
Tendency to crawl on all fours
Animalistic urges like biting and running away at slight movements
Difficult to befriend at first but warms up like a cat
Loves competition and playfighting (will wrestle you for fun)
Talks in mostly questions
Scraggly, broken voice
Favorite things:
Physical activity
Exploring the house
Dark magic (any characters you have that use dark magic? They could be friends! Anastasia loves to cuddle up and watch the horrors go down.)
Playing in bodies of water (makes her feel so clean!!!! (she's not))
Least favorite things:
Verbal affection ("I love you" and "you're so pretty" are OUT. fist bumps are IN.)
Being a little goody-two-shoes (loosen up a little!! we're still young)
Secrets and dilly-dallying (She's a very curious girl and just wants an answer to her fucking question)
2. Bauk was a creature from Southern Slavic beliefs, especially from Serbian beliefs. Parents used to scare children with him. The word bauljati is used to describe when somebody walks weirdly, which originates from Bauk. Bauk walked weirdly and lived in dark places- in holes or abandoned houses from where he preys upon humans and eats them.
Since "Bauk" is a single figure, I think that would be his full name, but maybe something like Brok or Benzi as a nickname. He's probably found sleeping in MC's bed at first, or in the corner of their bedroom, and their first conversation is waking him up.
(He's nonbinary and goes by he/it/they.)
Signature characteristics:
Ashy, dark skin that is almost translucent
(NOTE. THEY ARE NOT MEANT TO BE A BLACK OR OTHERWISE POC CARICATURE. THEY ARE SERBIAN)
Hungry, obsessive eyes
Twitches/shivers/stumbles when he walks
Bad stutter
Always cold, skin feels cold, hands are freezing
Canine teeth and horns
Hairyyyyy.........
Not a huge fan of moving or doing anything
Hedonistic; wants to eat and sleep constantly
Easy to charm, hard to persuade (VERY stubborn)
Favorite things:
Familiar food, familiar places
Darkness or dim light
Edgy animals like black cats and ravens and spiders
Just hanging out and talking
Watching you sleep 👁️
Least favorite things:
Sharing (from EITHER end. You've got your things and he's got his. Unless we're talking about hearts or bedrooms or key to the pantry, then he's got yours.)
Direct light (VERY VERY sensitive to it. This is the only way to get it out of your room (mythologically accurate), but baby will be hurt emotionally. 😔)
I hope these aren't too niche or specific! :(
Image references (Poroniec left, Bauk right):

Your reading about Chan is something extraordinary! Even knowing that the birth time is still missing, it all makes so much sense that it's incredible. But honestly, the sequel about his first time with a girlfriend left me a little suffocated - he's so intense that I felt breathless and, I guess, a little scared, afraid. I don't know much about the zodiac, but the little I do know, should I blame this feeling on my Venus in Aquarius? I was very curious about how our compatibility would be, especially because he is my bias... Which leads me to ask you:
Could you check the compatibility of our charts? I have a Pisces sun, Leo rising and Sagittarius moon. As I said before, my Venus is in Aquarius and if I'm not mistaken, my Mars is in Aries (when I read about his Mars being a fire sign I already realized that a fight between us would be very ugly). I share my birthday with Hyunjin, actually (3/20/98... a little old, I know).
Anyway, I would like to thank you very much for sharing your knowledge on the subject.
I hope you have a great day! 🤍🤎✨
hello there little pisces baby (me too hehe): first of all, you are not old 😭 literally not even a year older than me. also you are literally the cutest
i used this first inbox instead of the second one you sent me bc i think your name was in the other one! didn’t want to put it out there just in case <3
alright, let’s do this thang :)
Leo Ascendant (1st house):
Your Leo ascendant is a great match for Chan! Having a Leo ascendant, it is likely that living in authenticity is important to you. You are good at making other people feel special. Even if you can’t see it yourself, you have a natural talent for making others like you. This can either manifest in a way of being extroverted or introverted. If extroverted, people are usually naturally drawn to you. If introverted, people are still more than likely drawn to you in a way that they are more curious of you than anything. Sometimes Leo ascendants can get a bad rep for valuing attention, but I don’t necessarily think that way. Leo risings like the feeling of being valued and understood more than anything- this usually just manifests as receiving attention in who they are as a person. This is almost always reciprocated by the Leo Ascendant, always looking for the things that make individuals unique and playing that up to make them feel loved. Leo Ascendants usually believe that each person has a special calling in life, and their goal is always to find their own and let that shine.
With Chan’s Gemini ascendant, this is a great combo! It’s a combo that initially draws a lot of attention to one another. You can both play off of each other’s interests in people and quickly get to know a lot about one another. The way I see this manifesting in your relationship is coming off as the couple who is friends with literally everyone. Even if you didn’t have a picture perfect relationship, this is how it would seem on the outside.
Sun in Pisces in 8th house:
Your Sun in Pisces in the 8th house is such a powerful placement!
With your Sun in Pisces, it is likely that your friends would describe you as someone who is truly caring of others, is a peacemaker, and someone who can get lost in their own world from time to time. This can sometimes manifest in negative ways though, forgetting to reply to messages or emails, or even having trouble with procrastination. HOWEVER, being in the 8th house is an awesome combo with Pisces! The 8th house rules rebirth and transformation. Bringing a Piscean, watery, dreamy energy into that is super motivational for change. It is likely that you have a lot of big ideas and are deeply aware of who you are at your core. You are deeeeply empathetic. You could be focused on things such as self-improvement, the arts, music as an emotional outlet, and more alternative mediums like astrology, tarot, wicca, etc. You probably have some form of femininity about you, which can manifest in either dreamy-ish elements OR alternative/quirky elements. You love different forms of self expression.
This is a good match with Chan’s Sun in Libra. You would encourage him to find himself for who he truly is and he would support you in all of your big ideas. He could also help some of these ideas come to life. You would most definitely bring out a softer side to him that would make him feel well-rounded and loved. There would definitely be a subtle sweetness as an overtone to your relationship.
Moon in Sagittarius in 5th house:
I think this matches the rest of your chart well. Moon in Sag in 5th house means you have a DEEP need on an emotional level to experience self-expression and creativity with complete freedom. You value that for others as well. You probably dream of traveling or going on large scale adventures. You feel best when you have freedom to explore all of your interests. You value hearing others’ opinions and are super open-minded, liking to be challenged to think about things in other perspectives.
I think this is a pretty good match for Chan’s Moon in Libra. You would be very encouraging, yet again, of him to find himself and what HE truly wants. Not what he thinks other people want for him. You are able to give him freedom to develop who he needs to be. I could see this as a very spiritually-healing relationship for him. He would help you feel valued in everyday life and always support your dreams.
Mercury and Mars in Aries in the 9th house:
Although you have a Pisces Sun, your Mercury and Mars indicate to me that you can be very honest in what you want or what you want to say. However, with the Piscean personality trait, I feel like you’ve found a way to channel honesty into a way that it won’t really hurt other people. Again, there IS a gentle nature to you, so I see it very unlikely that you would just explode on someone right off the bat. It is a lot more likely that when in an argument, it would take a lot of repetition or a large buildup of things that go against your values to make you boil over. When you get mad, you can definitely get mad. With that Mercury in Aries as well, it’s likely that you could also say some harsh things that you’ve been thinking (now without a filter) when in a fight. I’m not gonna lie, fights with Chan would get way way explosive. May even end up in needing time apart if you’re not careful. These fights would typically stem from differences in beliefs or philosophy… I DO think though that since both of your sun signs are passive, you could eventually be able to understand the other person and need to reconcile deeply with each other to feel comfortable to return back to the relationship. It would take time though.
Aquarius in Venus in the 7th house:
The 7th house is the ruler of romantic and platonic relationships. Venus is also the ruler of the 7th house, so this will be a prominent part of your life! Aquarius in Venus tends to act on love from a level that is more cerebral- they need to know that the relationship they would be entering makes sense. This manifests in the fact that many Aq in Venus will want to be FRIENDS first, before considering a romantic relationship. They need to know that their partner will be intelligent and funny, someone who can mentally stimulate them and be unique. So Aquarius relationships can definitely be a slowww burn. They can also be nontraditional a lot of times in the sense of maybe not necessarily feeling the need to get married or other social “taboos” (which are changing tho so that’s good). In the bedroom, Aqs HAVE TO find someone who they feel is truly their match to feel comfortable with sexually. Like I’ve said, Aquarians are unique- they like what they like. This isn’t to say that they aren’t adventurous in the bedroom, but rather that they have certain interests that they just do or do not want to try. One big problem that could happen with Chan’s Venus in Scorpio is how possessive/obsessive he could tend to feel over you. Many Aqs in Venus do not want to feel like they are being told what to do or that they don’t have the freedom to do as they please. It can feel almost suffocating in a way. It can honestly cause them to shut down sometimes, getting too overwhelmed with something they never asked for. If there was a relationship with Chan, sexual boundaries would need to be established early on. If not, you could each find yourself in a relationship where you were super into each other in all other aspects than this one. You would definitely have to reach a level of compromise. I could see you having slightly the upper hand in this, Aq being a cardinal sign. Chan would still need the super deep, emotional aspects involved in your love life, but I do think there are ways around how he could obtain it and how often it would be integrated into the bedroom.

If [a hallucination of?] Elise's ghost was an enemy in gameplay (like the Gatherers and Kaernks are), how would it pursue Daniel? Would it behave like Wraiths from Rebirth, or be something entirely different?
This is a fanTAStic question, ooo let me get my thinking cap on
First of all, I already personally headcanon Elise to be very present in the game, with her being responsible for the spooky stuff in the tutorial and Storage, as well as her being the strange winds full of glowing particles that are scaring Daniel throughout the castle. So assuming this is the case, things we've already seen Elise do are: create wind, blow out candles and torches, open and close doors, knock books off of shelves and a lantern off a table, make scary voices, explode a faberge egg, close the piano, create palpable darkness, and make a flame burst to life (this is all I can think of at the moment hope I didn't miss any)
If Elise was a full-fledged enemy in the game, I think she would be doing more stuff like this but to a MUCH larger extent. If she had a corporeal form, then looking at her would for sure drain sanity as well, even if she's just a hallucination.
But she could definitely throw things at Daniel and cause damage, leave him in darkness to drain sanity even further, and maybe even use wind to knock Daniel around. For example, once when I was in the Chancel I ran into one of those winds I like to think of as Elise, and just as I did I fell through the floor and died lol. So blowing him off of edges and things like that. There could also be a mechanic where the closer she is to you the more you hallucinate in general. When things start to get so messed up they make no sense anymore you KNOW Elise is locked on to you
OKAY I'M LOVING THIS A LITTLE TOO MUCH I could blather on about this for a while, thanks so much for the ask!! I'm curious what anyone else thinks Elise could do as an enemy too, including you anon!

Okay, so let's talk venus-pluto
Low key desclaimer: this is my low quality rant about venus-pluto because I am curious if other people with thse aspects can relate
If you're into astrology deep enough to mingle with aspects, then you probably know what I am talking about. Good old venus-pluto: romance, love and affection mixed with wrath, destruction and rebirth. I've read my fair share about these aspects, but as someone who has venus in the 8th house square pluto, I noticed few of the whole lot of descriptions are accurate and could relate to them.
Venus-pluto aspects taint venusians affairs with pluto's paranoia. This makes the person with this natal aspect crave intimacy, devotion and loyalty (all according to their own idea of it, of course). But it also creates a heavy baggage, amplifies it and throws it in the person's relationships.
This can clearly make problems arise. Wanting intimacy, but too afraid to be vulnerable to achieve it. It can make the person to resort back to dirty taticts, manipulation, in a sense all of that drama caused by the lack of emotional security, you name it.
It can be very mentally and emotionally damaging for all parties, and of course not healthy. Venus-pluto creates a feeling of being stuck, torn in between surrendering to sweet venus or serving pluto's distrust.
Manipulation can become a defense mechanism to not feeling secure or ashamed for their needs and natural personality.
They could even deny it if other people mention it, resulting in a bunch of tension and even the sabotage of some of their relationships.
But remember, this all comes from not getting what they craved: intimacy. Why? Because they're too scared to be vulnerable.
Venus-pluto aspects can make people not trust easily as well, contributing to the whole wanting to be in control thing. Always having the upper hand, making sure the other person is three times more in love than they are, only revealing part of themselves to create a certain impression etc.
But venus-pluto must learn to surrender to the people they rationally know they can trust. Most of them, me included, are probably very emotional people, they feel the power-play, the manipulation, they are aware but they just cannot stop. All of it because they're too scared. There will come a time when they will have to put their fear away, take a leap of faith and be venerable, communicate their needs, wants and feelings.
Even if they're set on doing so, they're afraid of the other person taking advantage of them, reacting badly or making them feel unwelcomed and embarrassed.
That said, these aspects are difficult to deal with, but it's all part of the person's development. Harsh aspects, or even softer aspects like the trine and sextile, will always have those themes in their lives.
Here it is a matter of trust. Can they trust the other person? Can they trust the wrold it will not turn against them the moment they let their guard down?
Developed and mature venus-pluto can be very beautiful though: honest, intense, passionate and devoted. They can really bring a more sensual shade to the person's venus, making it attractive and alluring.
How venus-pluto manifests depends mainly on the venus sign and other aspects. Where venus-pluto pluto manifests depends on the house of the venus. For example, cancer venus in the 5th, trine ascendant and square pluto. Cancer venus has a gentle love style, kind of like the girl/boy next door type of vibe. In the 5th house, venus is playful, romantic, and or more sexual. The trine between the ascendant and venus brings charm, a lotta charm, an outgoing attitude and generally it's a very laid back and pretty aspect. Then, venus-pluto comes in. It splashes the venus placement with a much darker and intense energy than it previously had. This persons manipulation tactics could go back to having cancer as their venus sign, playing the victim, luring in other with their nurturing energy and beauty (not necessarily physical). Being in the 5th house, venus acts in the leisure part of their lives, hobbies (f.e. painting seemingly pretty things, but then adding a little dark detail in the piece) and casual dating.
Hope I explained it well. Feel free to leave your opinion and (contructive) criticism :)

But the decision he made, his determination to put himself in danger, when he could barely make it through the winter without ending up in the hospital, pushed her away. The night Eve and Bucky left, Eve didn't talk to Steve and didn't makeup. Now, a month later, she had received many letters from Steve, yet had not read a single one.
After a quick training, Bucky was sent overseas to the front lines to fight with the 107th Infantry Unit.
Eve had been sent to Camp Lehigh to work on Project Rebirth. While She was there she found out what Project Rebirth was, the plan was to make an army of super soldiers. She had met a lady by the name of Peggy Carter, they had become good friends.
As Eve was reading the list of soldiers coming in for training, the candidates for project rebirth, she noticed a name that she couldn't believe. The name of one of the men she has loved all her life, the one she left back in Brooklyn with the hopes of keeping him safe.
Realizing that Steve may have written about this decision in one of his letters, she began frantically searching through them.
"What's going on Eve?" Peggy asked when she saw Eve searching through the letters.
Eve finally reached the letter about the project and read it "I don't know how you'll react when you read this, but I meet someone from the SSR by the name of Dr. Erskine. He says he thinks I'm just the type of guy they need to win the war. I'm being sent to Camp Lehigh to be trained. I love you, sweetheart."
"Eve, what is going on?"
"It's Steve, apparently Erskine thinks he's the perfect guy for the serum, he's coming here."
"With the other recruits??"
"Yes, they're going to be arriving tomorrow."
Eve was feeling so many emotions. She was upset that Steve couldn't listen to her and Bucky and stay safe waiting for them to come home. That he had to put himself in danger. She was scared of what would happen if he got hurt in the war, what the effects of the serum would be on him if he was chosen for it. But mostly, she was afraid of what it would be like when he arrived, having left in the middle of a fight, about just the thing he was coming to Camp Lehigh to do.
Eve decided that she would write a letter to Bucky, telling him what was happening and hope that he got it soon.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The next morning Eve woke up and got ready to greet the new group of recruits. As she walked out of the room she saw Peggy passing by.
"Hey Peg"
"Good morning Eve, are you excited for the new recruits?"
Not wanting her to worry, Eve said "Yep, can't wait to beat them into shape!"
That was the extent of their conversation as they both went their separate ways. As she walked through the halls Eve thought about her feeling toward Steve. That fact that although she wanted to be furious at him for enlisting into the war despite her begging him not to, she couldn't be because she was too focused on finding out what Dr. Erskine meant when he said Steve was the perfect fit for the serum. After looking all around the base, she finally found Dr. Erskine talking to Colonel Philips,
"Dr. Erskine I need to ask you about one of the new recruits. "
"Who are you curious about?"
"Steven Grant Rogers."
"The little guy, you know him?"
"Yes, he said that you thought he was just the guy we need to win the war. I was wondering what you meant."
"There are so many big men already fighting this war. Maybe what we need now is the little guy. Right?"
"He wouldn't be allowed in on just the asthma, never mind all his other conditions. If you send him into the war he'll get killed."
"You know well as I do the serum should fix all those problems."
"And what if he doesn't get the serum, and he still gets sent into war? Now that he's in, even if he doesn't get the serum, there's no getting out"
"You really care about him don't you?"
"I just don't want to see him get killed"
The weight of their secret weighed heavily on her chest as she continued to lie to everyone around her about the nature of their relationship, but they all knew no one could every find out.
Heading outside Eve saw the recruits lining up. Peggy walked up and ordered them all to attention, as Eve walked towards the recruits. Her eyes met Steve's and all she felt was anger, she had thought her anger would dissipate when she saw him, but it only grew the longer she looked at him.
Eve introduced herself to the group of recruits and soon they were released to go unpack their small amount of personal belongings. Eve was walking back to the lab Steve interrupted her.
"Eve, wait up!"
"Steve, what do you want?"
"I want to talk to you!"
"Steve, I told you that if you enlisted one more time I was done, right?" Eve was so frustrated with her lover, that he would put himself in such a dangerous position voluntarily, that she snapped at him "And you're here Steve, which means you enlisted, so I'm done."
"Do you really mean it?" Steve said, Eve could see the guilt in his eyes as he asked, she thought about it for a second and then said,
"Yes, I do" She turned away from him and walked to the lab trying to hold back her tears.

don't know if you answered this before but in what order would you rank the endgame couples - piper/leo, phoebe/coop, paige/henry? very curious
oh hmm i actually have never been asked this!! hmm this is difficult. okay so like. obvi before we begin i must offer a disclaimer here. i am a paragon of bad taste. let’s not forget my entire valentine’s theme was dedicated to prue & jack. we’re starting at rock bottom here. i also love projecting my own idea onto incomplete pieces to fill the gaps. like. like i get how there’s not a lot to love for paige and henry and phoebe and coop but in my lil brain they are all very complex and like fleshed out and i gotta a lotta beliefs. in fact. like. hmm. no i’ve already said i have bad taste like piper/leo are probably gonna sit at the bottom of the list for me just because i cannot craft them how i want bc they’re already solidified in canon. like. idk they’re an adorable couple all that the full nine yards or whatever but like. well for starters they’re not my favorite ship tropes and then on top of that again There’s A Lot Of Canon. and i am a narcissistic diva okay i wanna be able to fill in these gaps. so like. hmm at the top based solely on coupleness and the versions of them that live in my noggin it’s
phoebe/coop bc like hear me out man they’re like the embodiment of love. we’ve been hit over the head so many time how they’re the embodiment of love and like salvation and rebirth and renewal like!! like part of me wishes that we had introduced coop in s5 and given him more skin in the game but also if they fucked up this relationship i would have been so bummed bc it really is. it’s love!! like it is the embodiment of falling in love like phoebe is stone cold right and she’s kind of starting to accept that maybe she just doesn’t get it you know. maybe that’s it. she gets her column and she gets to help people find love and see like piper and leo at peak domesticity and like engage in love, but like, remotely.because it’s not for her. and then here comes this cupid who’s like no i’m gonna find you love which is a cute gesture but like she genuinely doesn’t believe she’s made for love she genuinely doesn’t believe she gets to have love but then you know like. like her eyes get reopened to the world around her yes she engaged with love remotely but she had become so far removed from it that it lost the feeling. she saw it but she saw the individual brushstrokes and then here comes coop and he helps her take a step back and see the painting. and like!!! it’s beautiful. and then of course there’s the added trope of like. falling in love with coop he’s supposed to help you find love and now you know what the hell you’re trying but like. you’re in love with him. but you can’t be but you are. like!! and then on coop’s side you know he’s a cupid he’s been doing this for centuries and his love for humanity is obvious and his love for love is obvious but this is new. and he doesn’t know what it is!! like he knows love obviously but he’s never like you know fallen in love. and he can’t recognize it because he thinks it’s impossible but the next think you know he’s got all those lovesick symptoms he sees in the couples he puts together and oh my god he’s in love with phoebe. and then of course both believe the other won’t reciprocate bc it’s out of the realm of possibility. but then the other does reciprocate!! they also just like. i mean all three couple do but like phoebe and coop maybe the most. seem like the type of people who just kinda get lost in watching their partner work. like when phoebe is having trouble with a letter for her column she like paces and mutters the letter out loud to herself like she’s the one asking it and like bareface in pajamas like a crazy person is just repeating the same thing over and over again and coop’s just fucking in love with her like look at her!! and vice versa i don’t think coop has really spent that much time being human i think he takes absolute delight in small things phoebe has just forgotten about but to see coop’s face light up like at so flea market or something finding something that was undeniably crafted with love like he can feel it imbued in the item and his face just lights up and he wants to tell everyone how like it’s love!! love!! it’s all around us it’s in here can’t you feel it and phoebe just looks at him and remembers how pure love itself is and just how happy she is that you know. this is her life. and she gets to fall asleep and wake up next to this man like hello?? hello??!???! and then i’m gonna go
paige/henry bc like i feel like they’re criminally underrated again bc we spedrun what should have been a slowburn but they gave me the legos and i will built the death star like. like these are two people who struggle with family and identity so much who have learned against their nature to lean into and grow with one another. like what we see of paige is a woman who loves her independence and loves her freedom and yesh has a complex relationship with family bc she was given up at birth but it didn’t matter because she found a loving family so who needs the ones who gave her up not her but she couldn’t help but wonder but she didn’t care she had her family. until she didn’t. until she was seventeen alone and scared and what are you supposed to do with that?? and let’s not even get started on the fact she only gains her new family through death as well. like. there’s so much there there are so many reasons to stay guarded and fearful and just overall pessimistic about the concept of family especially as something built to last. and then henry!!! who never knew his birth parents and on top of that never got a home like paige paige got a home she got a family who loved her hell she actually got two henry never had that henry always had nothing and like he kinda grew up in that shell said he didn’t want to leave when people started getting close he had to push them away bc he didn’t know who he was if he wasn’t alone and paige is like hey hi?? you wanna be alone so bad be alone but i actually fucking like you and i know you like me too so don’t just push me out because that’s what makes you feel "comfortable” when you know you’re miserable in your comfort. and she’s right but it’s still a hurdle for henry and it’s this push and pull of the tides where bit by bit they kind of have to learn that it’s lonely up on the pedestal of independence and it can actually be nice to be vulnerable with somebody yes it’s fucking terrifying to just like show yourself to someone honestly because like!! they can turn away what if they turn away but to experience the rewards of love we must first subject ourselves to the morifying ordeal of being known. and it’s a painful process for both of them but the fruits of those labors man it’s well fucking worth it and it’s a relationship especially on henry’s side that is plagued with external insecurities other people telling him that he is not cut from the right cloth to be with paige but like. it’s like he’s already torn down his walls to be with her and she’s done the same and he realizes he loves her like He Loves Her like. like!! who gives a fuck what anyone else says he loves paige. and then paige reciprocates omg!!! haha fuck yeah. and then like i also think henry’s just super fuckin corny levels of domestic like makes french toast every sunday and fingerpaints with his kids and is in the dad’s club at the elementary school and just does all the things that he fuckin prayed for as a child  just a constant stable feeling of home of love and like. like!!!! i’m gonna bite someone like. paige&henry man.
piper/leo though as previously established is like Thee charmed couple you know they are there all eight seasons they get points for that but obviously from reading my first two ones i kinda just fill in a lot of gaps there which i am able to do bc each couple probably checks in at 150min of screentime total. piper and leo don’t get that so like i don’t get to do that. and like. the origins of them i just don’t quite get you know which was really just cause it was such a new show and this was a new lil relationship they weren’t sure what they were gonna do with it and then again like issues with canon and the whole whitelighter thing but what i would have loved to see more in the early stages is just like why. like obviously they both found the other cute but we never really got the Moments bc it was all so preferrial and then next thing you know leo’s dying in the attic and piper loves him like i would have loved the in between and a bit more of the internal monologue the jump then fall especially on leo’s part which is like canon’s fault but like. you know like why if he was a whitelighter and knew the rules blah blah blah and it was because the writers didn’t know but like. still you know. and then s2 was bogged down my dan and i just really didn’t care for it that much because like. idk i didn’t love a lot of leo’s vibes early s2 were he was trying to keep it strictly professional and just ended up coming across as weirdly bitter and possessive however i Loved him bonding with dan in pardon my past that was a nice touch. of course later seasons pleo really makes up for the lackluster of the early seasons bc they are just so domestic like they know each others strengths so well and leo loves piper’s cooking and they’re corny n cute and they have their little moment and i do mostly like their relationship therapy bits i like that that was incorporated bc like. it happens man it’s not something to keep taboo it happens. but i do feel like that shit was often resolved too quick and then the same shit dredged up ten minutes later like some one trick pony. i also love how ride or die they are points for that. leo’s like i killed an elder and piper’s like alright. they’re really in it through thick n thin n i respect that

The Guys As Tarot Cards
Sans : Judgement.
UPRIGHT: Judgement, rebirth, inner calling, absolution.
REVERSED: Self-doubt, inner critic, ignoring the call.
He represents the reversed version of this card, having kept all those secrets to himself and ignoring the call to step in until it was too late. He never really acts upon the position of the judge until it's too late, until he can never really avoid it. He stops himself from doing so much, being his worst critic, preventing him from reaching his full potential. In order for him to break it, he needs to be kinder to himself and acknowledge all that he's been avoiding.
Papyrus: The Fool.
UPRIGHT: Beginnings, innocence, spontaneity, a free spirit
REVERSED: Holding back, recklessness, risk-taking.
Papyrus represents upright version of this card. He may not know what comes next, but he's ready to face it head on and listen to his soul. He has an open and curious mind, ready to explore everything and anything. In the upright version of The Fool, it also represents inner growth, new experiences and developments. Upon reaching the surface, Papyrus would have grown more, becoming more mature while still maintaining his lightheartedness, improving on who he is and what he wants to do next.
Blue: The Magician.
UPRIGHT: Manifestation, resourcefulness, power, inspired action
REVERSED: Manipulation, poor planning, untapped talents.
Blue is someone who has many talents and is full of potential. He represents the upright version of The Magician. He knows what he wants and how he's going to get it, never going to stop it until he reaches it. It takes time but he's in tune with his soul and his needs, understanding himself better than most of the others. While he may be inclined to use his cute looks to get what he wants, he's more into using his skills and his abilities to stand out from the others.
Stretch: The Hermit.
UPRIGHT: Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance.
REVERSED: Isolation, loneliness, withdrawal.
Stretch represents the reversed version of The Hermit. Despite being relaxed and clowning others, he does isolate from others more than one would think. He's scared of opening up to people, to have his trust broken. He's only used to what he's experienced before but eventually he will have to make it through without a guide, to dive into deep depths of the unknown no matter how long that would take.
Red: The Hanged Man.
UPRIGHT: Pause, surrender, letting go, new perspectives
REVERSED: Delays, resistance, stalling, indecision.
Red represents the reversed version of The Hanged Man. He needs to stop and surrender, allow new changes to come in and look from new perspectives. But the thing is, he's scared of new changes, things happening out of his control that he does literally everything but that until he inevitably is forced to face it whether he likes it or not. He isn't sure where he wants to go or what he wants to do, retreating back to his shell to ignore the calls of change and acceptance, afraid that he may fail.
Edge: Death.
UPRIGHT: Endings, change, transformation, transition
REVERSED: Resistance to change, personal transformation, inner purging.
For all that Edge had been through, he represents the upright version of Death. He realizes that upon reaching the surface, a major chapter of his life has come to an end, he doesn't need to be fighting for his life or be in the guard to keep monsterkind safe. It takes time for him to really come to terms with it but he does inevitably accept it. While he may still be a prickly skeleton, he is more open to changes compared to his brother.
Black: The Chariot.
UPRIGHT: Control, willpower, success, action, determination.
REVERSED: Self-discipline, opposition, lack of direction
Black represents the upright version of The Chariot. When he has a goal, nothing is stopping him, his willpower is something that others want, burning as brightly as a fire that can never be tamed. He is never passive in what he does, always making sure to have control over everything that he does and never strays away from his objective. He uses his self discipline to keep himself afloat whenever challenges come his way, it's what kept him alive this whole time.
Rus: Strength.
UPRIGHT: Strength, courage, persuasion, influence, compassion.
REVERSED: Inner strength, self-doubt, low energy, raw emotion.
Rus represents the upright version of Strength. He's loyal, never budging for even a moment when he chooses to support those that are close that are close to him. He's in tune with his feelings, only really letting his raw emotions explode in a fit of rage, that is, if you can even upset him to that degree. His strength is quiet, never having to yell or do anything drastic to have the attention on him. He works behind the scenes while his brother takes up the main spotlight, making sure the others listen to him.
Wine: The Emperor.
UPRIGHT: Authority, establishment, structure, a father figure
REVERSED: Domination, excessive control, lack of discipline, inflexibility.
Wine represents the upright version of The Emperor. He's always been more of a father figure to Coffee, especially to the others as well. No one is better at accepting the role of leader better than Wine himself, easily asserting himself in a situation with little to no trouble. If he has a plan, he's sticking to it, and no one else can tell him what to do when he's figured it out. He will always have the final say.
Coffee: Hierophant.
UPRIGHT: Spiritual wisdom, religious beliefs, conformity, tradition, institutions.
REVERSED: Personal beliefs, freedom, challenging the status quo.
Coffee represents the upright version of the Hierophant. He learns almost everything from his brother, becoming skilled and adhering to a more structured way of life. It's comfortable for him, having something to follow along with as it helps keep him calm. But eventually, he will have to learn to branch out on his own and make of his own principles, what does he stand for? What does he want for himself? He's learnt many things and has honed his own skills by practicing, making very flexible.
Thistle: The Moon.
UPRIGHT: Illusion, fear, anxiety, subconscious, intuition.
REVERSED: Release of fear, repressed emotion, inner confusion.
Thistle represents the upright version of The Moon. He's anxious about the future, unable to really forget all that has happened to him, it's why he doesn't do more than the bare minimum. He tries to avoid situations by not paying attention to it, ignoring his subconscious telling him other wise. Thistle is brave, but he's afraid of taking too big of a risk. He has yet to heal completely, but he is making slow strides despite wanting to hide at home.
Chestnut: The Star.
UPRIGHT: Hope, faith, purpose, renewal, spirituality.
REVERSED: Lack of faith, despair, self-trust, disconnection.
Chestnut represent the upright version of The Star. He has endured many challenges, and has grown so much from who he was before. Despite this though, he knows who he is down to his core, what he stands for and what he wants. He still is lighthearted, just a little more calmer now. After a long process of getting help, he doesn't view his changes as a bad thing. Yes, they are painful memories, but he has a stronger sense of self now. He is still Papyrus, he still holds that vigour, he just has more hope than ever that he can still live the life he wants without any fear.

Rant about interstellar
i have before but ill do it again!
interstellar touches me for many many reasons.
first off, the entire premise and setting and the world building in it. the dust storms, the failing crops. the protagonist does say at one point- "humanity was born on earth. they were never meant to stay here" and that just,,, hits me you know? presently we've seen the emergence of no human exploration besides the probes and the ISS. there are plans but the same curiosity just seems dead. interstellar stretches that and shows us what would happen when human curiosity and the desire to explore would die. we'd kill everyone on the planet and soon starve ourselves. the blights- the illnesses- the dead medicare- that's a very bleak future, but a very real one. the movie does both its part about scaring the viewer about it- as well as giving us hope about wormholes and quantum data and singularities and how we'd save ourselves. you can see that the old generation is talking about their days and how better or worse it would be. in the end, on the cooper satellites, you see the interviews being played- and it really breaks me. that was a generation that thought it was the end. the end of human life. the final descent and that was it. and then they see the five dimensions and getting lifted and their lives are essentially turned around. this isn't just the older people though. we see that the gen z then, like cooper's son have also mostly been brought up to *live*. we see that he tries to get into school and actually get into uni and find a job in one of the remaining sectors of the world which still offer something other than farm corn- raise family. You see that the teachers also say this? they teach them to fight blights and sustain crops because they’re losing more and more to disease each year. Humanity’s slowly being packed up and demolished and they aren’t seeing it coming. at all.
then there’s the quote which is recurring throughout the movie:
“do not go gentle into the good night”
the professor says this all the time. as they’re leaving- his last few dying words- as they’re preparing. and you know what? i’ll say it. this is where the next important theme comes in. Desperation. When he initially sends them out- he hasn’t solved gravity yet, and he knows he never will. Not without the quantum data from a black hole- something again, he can never get. Which is why he implies that there’s a Plan B and cooper can see murphy again (this is also very important- scroll down for this). He breaks all their trust- and he knows he’ll die before seeing the end of the mission- and you can’t die with guilt, not really. He knows that he can’t be held accountable because he’s dead. He’s well aware that his plan is a hail mary- and it wouldn’t have worked anyways. He’s counting on Plan B, and that’s all there is to it. He uses the quote as a reminder to himself- because he’s torn too. He isn’t inherently evil, at all. He’s the precarious thread the entire mission dangles by- but he’s willing to risk that too. He’ll be long, long dead before humanity dies- or moves- and this is his last try.
Now for the second part of this quote. As I talked about before- the quote feels more like a reminder to himself- and not actually something that inspires hope in the crewmates. But ironically, it ends up becoming what guides murph. As the professor is dying, she tells him “you’ve been doing this with both your arms tied behind your back”- that’s actually when she finds out about his whole plan. This is the failure of the professor- but at the same time, it becomes the moment he passes the torch to murph. The professor died, knowingly sending his own daughter into the reaches of space. He prioritized his need to save humanity over the love for his own daughter. But, murph isn’t like that. When she finds out about this, she remembers the promise her dad made to her.
“I’ll be back when you’re the age I am now”
and now, she knows he’s lied. But he hasn’t done it on purpose. and she understands that. She makes it HER goal that they don’t go gentle into the good night. She knows that this is probably futile, but she’s going to try. and she’s not going to try thinking that she’ll probably fail- like the professor did (in resignation for plan B)- she’s going to try to bring cooper back.
Third, coming back to desperation. A bold, bold act of desperation is what dr mann did. (I have some qualms about the actor playing estranged astronauts- anyways). Him sending out that sensor- knowing that it will bring humans back to him, while simultaneously jeopardizing the entire mission, and possibly the fate of humanity. He knows what he has done- but he has gone insane alone- and he’d betray his entire cause to see a human face again. This movie really says something about what humans are willing to do. On one hand, you have a woman who singlehandedly saves them all- for human love, and on the other, a man who is willing to commit genocide (that’s what i think it is, dont ask) to see someone else. He messes up everything, deliberately, and goes from “the greatest and bravest man to walk the earth” to a “cold and desperate villain”. This theme has a lot to do with what is happening right now too. Forgive the activism, but we do have people who knowingly exploit and burn and ravage the earth, for their own good- and they’re insane to the point that they genuinely can’t see right from wrong. Sure, you could argue that he was motivated by the need to preserve your own life. But if you give his cause *any* context, you see how wrong he is. This is flailing human desperation, pure and simple.
Now, approaching the themes that actually make it as good as it is. Dr Brand is easily my favourite character in the movie. We get to see her as a brilliant scientist initially, and her arc- is perfect, honestly. For example, take the wormhole handshake- as their going through interdimensional space- where time isn’t linear and your brain gets fried if you try to comprehend it- she recognizes a *being* in that space. If you recall that scene, she reaches out, and meets *them*- someone she knows is otherworldly and entirely above humans (we later learn it is Cooper in the matrix- and i have things to say about that too) and makes contact. She suggests, as both a human- and a scientist- that it may be love that transcends dimensions. She makes first contact with beings that may be their salvation- or destruction- and i think that is definitely the peak of human existence.
She argues that love may be what connected the crew to higher dimensions, and I'll dare to say that she’s right. Love is what made Cooper try to contact murph. Love is what made them dare to save humans. Love was what got her there. She tells them to go to Edmund's planet- not just because she loves him, but because she also makes relevant points AND her gut. It might be stretching it to say that was why she was right- but it is worth introspection. Dr Brand represents the best of humanity and she does carry it, doesn’t she? She settles on the planet for ‘the long nap’ in the end. She tries to save everyone- like on the mountain planet- and she loves. She hopes and she trusts and is unwaveringly honest and courageous. This could become a Dr Brand stan blog for all I care.
Moving on
We have the ‘them’. These are the mysterious threads that tie all parts of the movie together. A black hole to a little girl’s bookshelf. Worlds galaxies apart. A very important thing to note here is that the characters recognize that this is humanity, just very, very far out. And most importantly, wise. This is a civilization who has surpassed the ordinary dimensions, and *mortal* time. They could’ve easily saved all of humanity and given them the planet they were looking for. But their entire ineffable plan, and only putting things where they were needed- was what made them greater than just someone who helps others. Only being able to get binary signals through an intergalactic wormhole, building bookshelves that become a huge metaphor for humanity trying to claw at knowledge- and actually slowly pushing the books forward. The ‘them’ weren’t ordinary humans at all. They definitely hinted and gave me a brief, fickle glance beyond what humans could be- raw possibilities.
Then, we have cooper. This makes it hard to write for him- and do his character justice- but I will try. His character, essentially, is brought down to selflessness, love, a brutal, brutal sense of humour- and the courage- the heavy, heavy courage to sacrifice himself. He’s also the polar opposite of what Dr mann stands for.
His first important point- in my opinion- is when the movie is starting. I didn’t walk in expecting this from him, not really. You see a dying earth- and this man is (alone in his fight, NASA doesn’t count yet) fighting the system alone. He fights for his son, tries for his father in law, and then the most important relationship- his daughter. He’s seeing an earth where not even *children* are curious, or willing, or interested in anything greater. He sees this in his daughter, though. Hence, the bookshelf- the gravity, and the plain curiosity.
I’ll dare to say that at this point, humanity’s a dying, dying flame. And what he sees in his daughter, what we see in his daughter, is a rebirth of potential. She has the human spark, so to speak. He sees that, and he makes promises, and is willing to bring the world to its knees to protect her. And he knows he might not be there when Murph burns strong, and bright, and becomes the saviour of humanity- but he hopes.  An important element is the promise, which I mentioned earlier, but it defines their relationship. The promise that he’ll be back when they’re the same age. They both know that it’s not true. They can see the lie, but that promise also empowers them to do what they did when their paths diverge.
Cooper goes to Mann's planet with the vague hope that he’ll be back in time. Murph does most of what she does because she thinks that it’ll bring her father back. Even towards the end, when Cooper willingly jumps into gargantua, a supermassive black hole- which is the literal heart of darkness, he does it in the attempt to save his daughter, and hopes she can get the quantum data at the cost of his life.
About Murph, we mostly see her through the eyes of Cooper in the beginning. A curious and lovable and stubborn tween who just wants to grow up with her dad and do their science experiments. Her perseverance is phenomenal- she loses her dad despite her warnings and asking- and realizes that her loss is something undefinable, but there. In a way, she grows to understand both her responsibility and her part to play, and why her father did what he did. The ‘ghost’ is another plot device- a mysterious figure who messes with the gravity and knocks her books down. And she sees a message there. She tells him about ‘don’t go’ and i can’t begin to describe how beautifully poetic and heartbreaking it is that they realize the significance of that at the same time, and how it ties together. It is hard for me to fathom that scene really- cooper is in an interdimensional matrix, inside a supermassive black hole, and he tries to tell his daughter two things. (a) trying to stop himself from going out and on the mission, which he knows is deemed to fail and (b) sending the quantum data, because that is what mattered in the end, anyways. The ghost comes full circle- and also says what he had to say, when it was most important. And for those who’ve seen the movie, i just really have to put this quote out there:
‘It was you. It was always you. You were my ghost, dad’
And in that, the movie completes itself. It talks about unfailing love, the peak and fall of humanity, and the potential of curiosity.
In this essay I will...

Harry Potter's point of view (canon compliant) about Ron and Hermione's relationship just after the war. Or Harry's point of view about their relationship during the books is also fine. [ we have read the books through his eyes and no one really has covered this or I haven't seen one like this so would love to read something written by you cuz I love your writing ] Thanksss! :))
The sun rose steadily over Hogwarts, and the Great Hall blazed with life and light. Harry was an indispensable part of the mingled outpourings of jubilation and mourning, of grief and celebration. They wanted him there with them, their leader and symbol, their savior and their guide, and that he had not slept, that he craved the company of only a few of them, seemed to occur to no one. He must speak to the bereaved, clasp their hands, witness their tears, receive their thanks, hear the news now creeping in from every quarter as the morning drew on; that the Imperiused up and down the country had come back to themselves, that Death Eaters were fleeing or else being captured, that the innocent of Azkaban were being released at that very moment, and that Kingsley Shacklebolt had been named temporary Minister of Magic.
They moved Voldemort’s body and laid it in a chamber off the Hall, away from the bodies of Fred, Tonks, Lupin, Colin Creevey, and fifty others who had died fighting him. McGonagall had replaced the House tables, but nobody was sitting “according to House anymore: All were jumbled together, teachers and pupils, ghosts and parents, centaurs and house-elves, and Firenze lay recovering in a corner, and Grawp peered in through a smashed window, and people were throwing food into his laughing mouth. After a while, exhausted and drained, Harry found himself sitting on a bench beside Luna. “I’d want some peace and quiet, if it were me,” she said. “I’d love some,” he replied. “I’ll distract them all,” she said. “Use your Cloak.” And before he could say a word she had cried, “Oooh, look, a Blibbering Humdinger!” and pointed out of the window. Everyone who heard looked around, and Harry slid the Cloak up over himself, and got to his feet. Now he could move through the Hall without interference. He spotted Ginny two tables away; she was sitting with her head on her mother’s shoulder: There would be time to talk later, hours and days and maybe years in which to talk. He saw Neville, the sword of Gryffindor lying beside his plate as he ate, surrounded by a knot of fervent admirers. Along the aisle between the tables he walked, and he spotted the three Malfoys, huddled together as though unsure whether or not they were supposed to be there, but nobody was paying them any attention. Everywhere he looked he saw families reunited, and finally, he saw the two whose company he craved most. “It’s me,” he muttered, crouching down between them. “Will you come with me?” They stood up at once, and together he, Ron, and Hermione left the Great Hall. Great chunks were missing from the marble staircase, part of the balustrade gone, and rubble and bloodstains occurred every few steps as they climbed. Somewhere in the distance they could hear Peeves zooming through the corridors singing a victory song of his own composition:
We did it, we bashed them, wee Potter’s the one, And Voldy’s gone moldy, so now let’s have fun!
“Really gives a feeling for the scope and tragedy of the thing, doesn’t it?” said Ron, pushing open a door to let Harry and Hermione through. Happiness would come, Harry thought, but at the moment it was muffled by exhaustion, and the pain of losing Fred and Lupin and Tonks pierced him like a physical wound every few steps. Most of all he felt the most stupendous relief, and a longing to sleep. But first he owed an explanation to Ron and Hermione, who had stuck with him for so long, and who deserved the truth. Painstakingly he recounted what he had seen in the Pensieve and what had happened in the forest, and they had not even begun to express all their shock and amazement when at last they arrived at the place to which they had been walking, though none of them had mentioned their destination. Since he had last seen it, the gargoyle guarding the entrance to the headmaster’s study had been knocked aside; it stood lopsided, looking a little punch-drunk, and Harry wondered whether it would be able to distinguish passwords anymore. “Can we go up?” he asked the gargoyle. “Feel free,” groaned the statue.
They clambered over him and onto the spiral stone staircase that moved slowly upward like an escalator. Harry pushed open the door at the top. He had one, brief glimpse of the stone Pensieve on the desk where he had left it, and then an earsplitting noise made him cry out, thinking of curses and returning Death Eaters and the rebirth of Voldemort — But it was applause. All around the walls, the headmasters and headmistresses of Hogwarts were giving him a standing ovation; they waved their hats and in some cases their wigs, they reached through their frames to grip each other’s hands; they danced up and down on the chairs in which they had been painted; Dilys Derwent sobbed unashamedly; Dexter Fortescue was waving his ear-trumpet; and Phineas Nigellus called, in his high, reedy voice, “And let it be noted that Slytherin House played its part! Let our contribution not be forgotten!”
But Harry had eyes only for the man who stood in the largest portrait directly behind the headmaster’s chair. Tears were sliding down from behind the half-moon spectacles into the long silver beard, and the pride and the gratitude emanating from him filled Harry with the same balm as phoenix song. At last, Harry held up his hands, and the portraits fell respectfully silent, beaming and mopping their eyes and waiting eagerly for him to speak. He directed his words at Dumbledore, however, and chose them with enormous care. Exhausted and bleary-eyed though he was, he must make one last effort, seeking one last piece of advice. “The thing that was hidden in the Snitch,” he began, “I dropped it in the forest. I don’t know exactly where, but I’m not going to go looking for it again. “ Do you agree?” “My dear boy, I do,” said Dumbledore, while his fellow pictures looked confused and curious. “A wise and courageous decision, but no less than I would have expected of you. Does anyone else know where it fell?” “No one,” said Harry, and Dumbledore nodded his satisfaction. “I’m going to keep Ignotus’s present, though,” said Harry, and Dumbledore beamed. “But of course, Harry, it is yours forever, until you pass it on!” “And then there’s this.” Harry held up the Elder Wand, and Ron and Hermione looked at it with a reverence that, even in his befuddled and sleep-deprived state, Harry did not like to see. “I don’t want it,” said Harry. “What?” said Ron loudly. “Are you mental?” “I know it’s powerful,” said Harry wearily. “But I was happier with mine. So …” He rummaged in the pouch hung around his neck, and pulled out the two halves of holly still just connected by the finest thread of phoenix feather. Hermione had said that they could not be repaired, that the damage was too severe. All he knew was that if this did not work, nothing would. He laid the broken wand upon the headmaster’s desk, touched it with the very tip of the Elder Wand, and said, “Reparo.”
As his wand resealed, red sparks flew out of its end. Harry knew that he had succeeded. He picked up the holly and phoenix wand and felt a sudden warmth in his fingers, as though wand and hand were rejoicing at their reunion. “I’m putting the Elder Wand,” he told Dumbledore, who was watching him with enormous affection and admiration, “back where it came from. It can stay there. If I die a natural death like Ignotus, its power will be broken, won’t it? The previous master will never have never been defeated. That’ll be the end of it.” Dumbledore nodded. They smiled at each other. “Are you sure?” said Ron. There was the faintest trace of longing in his voice as he looked at the Elder Wand. “I think Harry’s right,” said Hermione quietly. “That wand’s more trouble than it’s worth,” said Harry. “And quite honestly,” he turned away from the painted portraits, thinking now only of the four-poster bed lying waiting for him in Gryffindor Tower, and wondering whether Kreacher might bring him a sandwich there, “I’ve had enough trouble for a lifetime.”
Ron and Hermione smiled at Harry tiredly. Harry looked at his best friends- scars and dirt covered them. “You two have as well I reckon,” added Harry. He noticed that they were holding hands, he smiled.
“I-I couldn’t have done it without you two you know,” said Harry, and Ron and Hermione smiled at him shyly. “I’m happy about it you know,” Harry added, gesturing to the two of them holding hands. “I can’t think of anyone who deserves each-other more” he admitted.
Hermione smiled tiredly, “you should get rest Harry-” Hermione said, “Merlin knows you’ve earned it.” Harry nodded, “I reckon we all do,” and with that they all tiredly walked to the Gryffindor dormitory, Harry closed his eyes the moment he felt a soft surface below him. He saw faces in his dreams, jets of light, dead bodies, laughing bodies, his parents, Dumbledore. He awoke after what seemed like ages- feeling the affect of rest on his body and how very much needed that sleep was. He opened his eyes, he had fallen asleep with his glasses on, thankfully he had managed not to crush them. He looked around to see two familiar bodies also asleep. A long lanky one and a shorter one with bushy hair. Ron and Hermione were embracing each-other- their eyes closed. Ron had his arms wrapped around Hermione, her head was buried into his chest. Their embrace was one of desperation, as if they were scared they would lose each-other. Harry saw tear stains down both of their faces, his heart sank as he thought of Fred. Ron, who had been there for him since the day one, had lost his brother, the way Harry’s heart sank for Fred pained him in such a way that he couldn’t begin to imagine what Ron was thinking in this moment. He looked at Hermione, she would be there for him, Ron had Hermione, and Hermione had Ron. He meant every word he said, they deserved each-other. They had been there through thick and thin- had supported Harry in the darkest hour, and now, now they could finally rest. Finally rest with each-other.
Love.
It had always been the most powerful magic. And that very magic was what Harry was seeing exhibited before his very eyes. There might have been a time where Harry was uncertain between them - in the fear of getting shot out, or the fear that they wouldn't last, but this was different now.
They had gone through so much, had seen so much, and had aged years the last couple of months. They wouldn’t shoot him out, Harry saw, just how much he had meant to them. Their screams rung through his ears as he remembered how they had reacted when they had thought how he, Harry, had died. He was not uncertain about them, he knew they were made to last. He remembered Ron’s screams as Hermione had been tortured, and Hermione’s cries when Ron was not there with her. They were made for eachother, and they would help each-other deal with the tragedies they had faced. Harry smiled at his two best friends and got up slowly, he figured that for once he would let them finally be alone, just the two of them.

One’s Rebirth (Chapter 5)
A/N: Man, I be seeing Nerris drawing stuff for people and I’m like “If anyone ever wants to draw a scene from my trash ass fanfic that would be the best thing ever.” And tbh I hope no one ever offers to since I don’t want them to waste their talent on something dumb. Anyway, enjoy more angst and I probably won’t upload chapter 6 till chapter 7 is done so uh ye.
Another day, another night J’me didn’t get any sleep. He spent the entire night wanting to throw up since he looked at the photos before he went to bed. Luckily it was Friday, so all the boy had to do was get through school then Kairo’s funeral tomorrow.
He slowly went through his morning routine trying his best not to throw up. It took a little longer than usual, but he did start a bit earlier than normal. Once that was done he flipped the photos over and placed them in his bag.
He decided to leave the test tube on his nightstand till he actually needed to test the sample. He let out a breath of air and stood up properly. “Okay… let's see if this works.” J’me closed his eyes and placed his right hand on the nightstand.
He started sending chakra towards his palm, though under the flesh of it. Once the chakra reached his palm, the boy gently applied pressure on the table. After a couple moments J’me lifted up his hand to reveal his Flying Falcon signature. The signature was a circle with kanji in the middle of it surrounded by Japanese coding, the kanji was ‘Falcon’.
Once the signature was on the desk, J’me put on his U.A attire, slinged his bag over his back and left the house. His morning routine to the train station was nothing out of the ordinary, it was the same as usual. When the boy got onto the train, he sat down and relaxed his whole body. The entirety of his body was tense for basically no reason.
J’me tried his best to relax but couldn’t no matter what he did. He let out a small breath of air and stood up. The boy placed his hands in his pockets and looked out the words of the train. The scenery was gorgeous, cherry blossom after cherry blossom. It truly felt like J’me was in Japan, even if it was in an anime.
The scenery would soon be over as the train came to a stop a few minutes later. The boy slowly got off the train and began to make his way to U.A Academy. As J’me went along his route to the school, his best bud Kirishima joined him halfway through.
“Hey, are you going to be okay today? Will you be able to tell everyone the truth?”
“I’m fine to say the least and, I don’t know. I want to tell everyone what happened, but I don’t think my body will allow me to. I need to make sure they know, so we can be careful… I just hope the timeline doesn’t get fucked because of this.”
Kirishima was curious about the timeline actually, he wanted to know how much has changed since J’me and his friends had arrived. He thought about asking, but decided to wait till it was a good time to do so. “If you want, I can help you deliver the news. That is if you want me to help, but maybe not. After all, Ryan can help as well.”
J’me thought about it for a few seconds. He didn’t know if Kirishima should help or not. Besides, people would just question why he knew before anyone else. “No, I think me and Ryan can do it without any help. Thank you for the offer though.” The boy stopped in his tracks and gave Kirishima a slight bow before walking again.
Kirishima watched the events unfold and teared up a little. “You are manly as heck J’me!”
The boy chuckled and patted the red hair’s back. “You’re manly as well Kirishima.” He smiled a little and kept on walking.
Kirishima followed behind J’me as the tiny tears went away after a bit. Soon enough they got to U.A Academy. The two boys went up the small set of stairs before entering the building.
Afterwards they started walking towards their class as J’me let out a small shaky breath.
“You got this, I believe you’ll be able to tell everyone bro.” Kirishima spoke with confidence in his voice since he truly did believe in J’me.
“Thanks man, I’m glad you believe in me.” J’me showed a small smile, but quickly disappeared when he walked into the classroom.
It seemed like all of the eyes were on him which kind of scared him. He slowly went to his seat as it felt like everyone was staring at him. He let out a small breath of air and tried his best to cool down.
The bell rang after what felt like hours, but was only a couple minutes. Mr. Aizawa walked into the class and looked at J’me. The boy nodded and looked over at Ryan, he simply glanced at the front and got up with his bag.
Ryan followed and got up as well, they both walked up to the front and J’me pulled the photos of Kairo’s dead body.
The boy taped the photos on the board and stood in front of them before anyone could see them. “So, what we found yesterday was not what we expected at all. Upon getting close to where Kairo last was, we discovered something. We discovered his body, he was dead. Ryan and I assumed that he had been dead for almost 12 hours. Even if we wanted to save him we couldn’t since he had already passed.”
The mood has switched from one of tiredness to depression the moment J’me said Kairo was dead. Some people wanted to speak up and say something, but knew it wasn’t the time or place to do so.
Ryan felt bad for making J’me do all the speaking since him and Kairo were closer. “When we found him, he had suffered injuries all over his body. Kairo suffered cuts all over his body, broken ribs and his skull being cracked open. What caught our attention was 2 things, the first was that his cuts were in the shape of an ‘X’. Now the second thing is a bit more surprising, we found a blood trail nearby though it was too far for Kairo to travel with the injuries he had.”
It would be a lie if they weren’t nervous and depressed about the topic at hand. They did want to cry and not even speak, but the two needed to keep calm and relay the information as best as possible.
J’me let out a breath of air and took over for the rest of it. “Like Ryan said, Kairo suffered many injuries sadly… What we are about to show might make you throw up. Please proceed with caution if you are going to look.” He stepped off to the side so everyone could see the photos.
Mostly everyone stood up to get a better look at the board. Some did stay seated as they didn’t want to see Kairo or else they might throw up. After a few minutes the people who did look were depressed. It also made them angry to see someone do that to a student out of all people.
Some of the kids spoke up after staying silent for so long, they asked who could do something like this to Kairo.
“At this moment in time Ryan and I do not know who did it. We are going to work as hard as we can to figure out who did this.” J’me had a confident look on his face. They were going to find out who killed Kairo and take them down.
Mr. Aizawa listened to the whole conversation before stating his mind. "I'm afraid U.A might shut down because of this. If not, the best course of action to take is having hero's watching students at all times. No matter what happens a hero must not take eyes off of a student or else it may have more killed. I'll talk about this with the principal and see what I can do."
“Fuck, I was afraid this was going to happen… how long would U.A be shut down for if it turns out to be like that?” J’me couldn’t help but speak his mind on this topic.
“I’m not entirely sure, it may be for indefinitely or not. Like I said I don’t know how long the school will be shut down for.”
J’me understood this and nodded his head slowly. All of the students were saddened to hear the news, the dream of becoming the hero they wanted to be would be crushed if U.A were to shut down. Everyone sat back down in their seats as J’me removed the photos off the board. Once they were off he sat down as well and let Aizawa take over.
“I don’t think it would be best to teach a class with the atmosphere the way it is currently. So, that’s why I’m deciding to give all of you the rest of the day off.” Mr. Aizawa spoke with a genuine tone in his voice. He didn’t want the kids to go on with school with what happened to Kairo.
The students just nodded, they felt weak to do anything. They all sat in silence for a minute before J’me stood up and started speaking.
“Um… Kairo’s funeral is tomorrow. I thought y’all should come, even if you didn’t know him that well. It’s in Tokyo’s graveyard, it starts at 2 in the afternoon. I guess I'll see y’all there.” He walked over to Mr. Aizawa and asked to speak with him before everyone got up and left.
The two walked into the hallway before J’me disappeared for a second. He came back with the vial of blood they took from the area Kairo was killed in.
“We were able to get a sample of what could be Kairo’s killer. Take it and figure out whose blood it is Mr. Aizawa, I’m counting on you.”
Aizawa took the vial and looked over it before speaking. “I’ll see what I can do J’me. And thank you for all this information. I know this must be difficult for you and Ryan to handle, but stay strong okay?”
J’me nodded his head, wanting to cry at this point. He held the tears in and said bye to Mr. Aizawa. Afterwards he teleported away with a blue lightning strike appearing once he was gone from sight.
Everyone else in U.A stayed behind for a couple minutes. As the time passed slowly Kirishima stood up and looked at everyone in the room.
“Whoever did this to Kairo is going to pay! No one our age should lose their lives like that trying to become a hero!” Tears started to fall down his face as he shouted to everyone.
Ryan stood up as well and looked at Kirishima. “If someone was able to kill Kairo then it’s useless to go after them. He was in the top 3 of the strongest people in this classroom along with me and J’me. Let’s just do what we need to do to figure out who did it and leave it to the heros after.” Once he said what was on his mind, he started making his way to the door.
Kirishima didn’t want to believe it, he wanted to get revenge on the person who killed Kairo. “I will avenge Kairo with or without you!” The boy was determined to do even if he didn’t have Ryan helping. He would do it by himself if need be.
Ryan stopped in his tracks and glanced at Kishima. “If you die because you did something dumb, I’ll kill every villain in his world.” The boy then looked down at the ground and walked away to his home.
The students couldn’t do anything but watch the interaction between the two boys. Once it was over they grabbed their things and left. It had been a long day and they needed some time to process everything before the funeral tomorrow.
Saturday arrived quicker than everyone expected. All of the students in class 1-A got dressed and began to make their way to the Tokyo graveyard. They shortly arrived a little before 2 and went to where they were supposed to go. J’me was the last to arrive out of all the students, he honestly thought Kairo was too strong to be killed by someone. He also wanted to invite Mei, but knew she would be busy with her gadgets to make it on time.
People took turns speaking about Kairo even if they didn’t know him as much as others knew Kairo. When it was Ryan’s turn, he stepped in front of his dead friend’s casket and let out a small breath of air.
“Kairo... man... he was a great guy. Maybe a dick sometimes, but he was an overall nice guy. Now, I didn't know him for more than a year or two, but in that time I grew to be his friend. Infact he was basically like a brother to me... so he will definitely be missed…” Ryan held back any tears he had and went back to his spot once he got done speaking.
After Ryan’s turn, J’me slowly walked up to Kairo’s casket. He looked at everyone that was at the funeral then at the casket. “I knew Kairo the most out of everyone here, I knew him for 8 years. He was one of the best friends I’ve ever had or even met. He was like a brother to me because of how much time we spent together. The man helped me out when no one else would… Kairo will be missed by everyone, even by those who didn’t know him well. Rest In Peace Kairo Fūro. May your soul rest in peace brother.”
J’me walked back to his spot and watched as the casket was lowered into the ground. He could only watch and think about reviving him. He didn’t though, because Kairo would just smack the fuck out of J’me and die again.
Once the casket was lowered into the ground, J’me looked at it before tossing something into the pit with Kairo’s casket. What he tossed was something special to Kairo, it was a pair of boxing gloves. The boy always loved to fight, most times for fun rather than anything. J’me didn’t know why his friend enjoyed fighting so much, he just did for some reason.
After everyone tossed roses and other things into the pit, people slowly started to fill it up with dirt while everyone watched. Memories of Kairo flashed through J’me’s head as he just stood there and watched the dirt fill up the pit. He hated this feeling that was going through his heart, he felt guilt like it was his fault. The boy also felt sadness and anger, all of these feelings didn’t mix well for J’me.
The boy looked up into the sky and finally let the tears fall. He didn’t care who saw him cry, he had just been strong for too long and needed to let it all out.
Kirishima walked up behind J’me and placed his hand on his friends' back. “I promise we are going to get revenge for Kairo. I’m not going to let any of my friends cry and not be able to do anything about it.” The red hair was also tearing up, he hated seeing his friends cry. That scene alone made Kirishima feel like he was weak and couldn’t do anything.
J’me turned his head and looked at Kirishima and let out a shaky breath. “Kirishima… thank you for wanting to help me, but it’s useless. Whoever killed Kairo is too strong for us to handle, that’s why we need to let the heros handle it.”
“I don’t care! I don’t care if whoever killed your friend is too powerful for us. If I promise something I will make it true no matter what! I hate it when I can’t do anything to help my friends, so please J’me...let me help you get revenge for Kairo.” Kirishima was in tears by the time he finished talking.
J’me’s eyes widened at how much Kirishima wanted to help him. The boy turned his whole body to face his crying friend. “Kirishima… why do you have to be such a good friend to me? You don’t even know me that much and yet you’re still trying to help me no matter what I tell you.”
“Because I know that if I was going through the same thing, you would do exactly what I am doing right now.” The tears on Kirishima slowly started to fade as he smiled brightly at his friend. It was a sad smile, but one nonetheless. He pulled J’me into a hug and patted his friend.
J’me was a little surprised by the hug but returned it. “Thank you Kirishima, I will do my best to find whoever killed Kairo, I put my life on that.” He pulled away after a second and wiped his tears, letting out another shaky breath as well.
“You’re welcome J’me, and I’ll be here waiting for you when you call me to join the battle. I won’t let you down either and that’s another promise.” He gave his friend a real smile this time around.
J’me smiled back slightly before walking away and over to Ryan. He stood in front of his 6 foot friend and looked up at him. “I don’t care what you say, but you’re helping me find who killed Kairo and helping me fight them. I am not going to let Kairo’s death go to waste like this.”
Ryan looked down at J’me and let out a small sigh, holding his tears in still. “What’s the point? Let’s say we do find the person who killed Kairo, if we fight them we are going to lose no matter what we do. Just accept the fact that we’re weak and can’t do anything against anyone.”
“No! I’m not going to accept that even if it is true. I am going to fight the person for Kairo’s sake, wouldn’t our friend want that anyways? For us to fight whoever killed him for fun? But this isn’t going to be for fun. We are going to take down who killed Kairo, I promise that on my life!” J’me was going to convince Ryan to help him, no matter the cost.
Ryan just looked at J’me for a few seconds. “Fine, I’ll help, but I get the finishing blow on the person who killed Kairo got it?” He didn't bother waiting for a response, he just wanted to go home and cry at this point. The boy left the funeral and went home to do so.
J’me watched as his friend walked away, he was happy Ryan decided to help but at the same time he wasn’t. The bot let out a sigh by the time Ryan was gone. He was fixing to go home himself till Bakugo walked up to him.
“Just listen alright shit head. I’m sorry about your loss, I don’t know about the bond both of y’all had but yeah.”  He paused for a second wanting to throw up at these next words. “If… If you need my help don’t hesitate to ask… And don’t ask why I want to help.” Bakugo simply let out a ‘hpmh,’ crossed his arms, and walked away.
J’me chuckled at the way Bakugo acted, he sure did have a soft spot at times. Even when he’s acting like the biggest bitch in the world. J’me did feel a bit at ease after the explosion boy left though he was surprised Bakugo would say something like that.
Soon enough yet another person walked up to him, this time it was Yao-Momo. She offered a hug to the boy since it looked like he needed one more than anything. J’me accepted it, pulling away after a couple seconds of silence from both of them.
“I am truly sorry about your loss J’me. I can only imagine how difficult this could be for you. If there is anything I can do to help let me know okay?” Momo’s voice was soothing to hear for some reason. It sounded like a mother’s which helped J’me feel a bit better after everything that’s happened recently.
“I’ll be fine, don’t worry about me. I can handle almost anything that comes to me.” J’me forced a small smile on his voice. He didn’t want people to worry about him, not just yet that is.
“You know J’me, I can see through that forced smile. Even if we don’t know each other on a personal level, you are a classmate of mine after all.” Yao-Momo stated in her regular voice. She was right though, anyone and everyone could see through his forced smile.
“It’s that obvious isn’t it?” The boy let out a simple sigh and closed his eyes for a second. “To be honest, I hate when people worry about me. It kind of just puts more weight on more shoulders since I have to worry about my well being.”
Yao-Momo simply nods to his words. “Well, I hope you won’t hate it when someone worries about you one day. When you find the person who killed your friend, do your best to take them down okay? I believe you and Ryan are the only ones who can take that person down.”
“Yeah, hopefully…” His voice trailed off for a moment before he focused again. “Anyway, I know me and Ryan are going to take down whoever killed Kairo that’s for sure. I’ll always do my best when it comes to fighting. And thanks Momo, it makes me feel appreciated when people check up on me.”
Yao-Momo smiled gently and nodded once again. “I know you’ll do your best and you’re welcome J’me.” She gave the boy one more hug, telling him to be careful when they find the person who killed Kairo.
J’me hugged her back and said he would try, no promises though. He let go after a couple seconds and smiled a little.
Yao-Momo chuckled at his response and said her goodbyes before leaving to talk with someone else.
J’me let out a breath of air and left the funeral. He needed a plan to find Kairo’s murderer, for now all he could do was wait for Mr. Aizawa to test the blood sample they got from the crime scene. Time was of the essence in his eyes, he needed to find the killer as fast as he could.
By the time J’me left Kairo’s body was officially buried. Everyone left a couple minutes after the body was buried. May his soul rest within an angel's arms as he watches over Ryan and J’me from the skies above. No matter what happens in the future, they were going to get revenge for their friend.

I've recently become interested in astrology. Not surprising, I suppose , it's all over the internet lately, I'm more surprised it took me this long. I did have to ask Gabrielle what time I was born, as it wasn't something we'd ever discussed. She told me, and I quote "lestat, dear child, do you think after nine pregnancies and seven births I remembered a thing like what time I was finally free of you accursed things?" Which, first of all , fascinating way to look at the miracle of childbirth, Mother, but I can't say I blame her. She did manage to remember it was morning, and I think that's all we're going to get. Anyway, perhaps the time I made up was correct because, I believe the phrase is, this chart was AT-ing me. So here we are, presented with commentary.
(Also do you know how long it took me to find a site that allowed me to enter the year 1758?)
"Sun in Scorpio
The sun determines your ego, identity, and "role" in life. It's the core of who you are, and is the sign you're most likely to already know. Your Sun is in Scorpio, meaning you have a fundamental urge to get to the bottom of things, which can at times lead you to be manipulative or power-hungry, but it comes down to an intense passion for authenticity, real intimacy, and the truth. It's in your twelfth house, meaning you feel the need to distinguish yourself from others through privacy, secrets, and introspection."
Well this comes as no surprise. I knew I was a Scorpio, passionate, sensual, easily angered, and ruled by emotions. I've been told Scorpios are one of the harder zodiac signs to put up with, with intense personalities. Guilty. I do like it mentioned my need to authenticity and tendency for introspection, which people often forget about.
"Ascendant in Sagittarius
Your ascendant is the "mask" you present to people. It can be seen in your personal style and how you come off to people when you first meet. Some say it becomes less relevant as you get older. It changes every two hours, so if it doesn't make sense, text your mom to confirm your birth time. Your Ascendant is in Sagittarius, meaning you come across as independent, optimistic, and confident, though sometimes overly blunt or critical. Generally a charming conversationalist, your free-spirited approach may come off as restless or easily bored."
Well I don't know how much older I'll have to get before it's less relevent, because I think "independent, optimistic, and confident, though sometimes overly blunt" is probably how most people would describe me if they're being kind. As is restless and easily bored.
"Moon in Aquarius
The moon rules your emotions, moods, and feelings. This is likely the sign you most think of yourself as, since it reflects your personality when you're alone or deeply comfortable. Your Moon is in Aquarius, meaning your emotional self is intuitive, observant, detached, and rational. You are often in your own world, but are scared of how you truly feel. It's in your second house, meaning you find security and safety through money and material possessions."
And this is where the relentless @-ing appears. In my own world? Scared of how I truly feel? I'm in this picture and I don't like it. Find safety through money and material things? We WONT bring up what Louis calls my tendency to throw money at problems. The Valentines Day debacle, anyone?
"Mercury in Scorpio
Mercury determines how you communicate, talk, think, and process information. It also indicates how you learn. It is the mind's planet. Your Mercury is in Scorpio, meaning your intellect is intense, serious, and obsessive. You have tendency to see things that others don't through your perceptive and insightful intuition. You don't take things lightly and like to get straight to the point, which can come off as harsh, suspicious, or intrusive. You tend to communicate through your body language. It's in your eleventh house, meaning you are curious about and inclined to analyze your friends, how to make an impact on people, and your political life."
Yes, THANK YOU, I'm actually quite intelligent, I'll remind you, people don't remember that because I do hide it under a lot of LOUD, see aforesaid ascendent in Sagittarius, but I spend a lot of time --too much time--thinking. And I have been called blunt. And as I've been called animated more times than I'd like to count, the expressing things through body language is true.
"Venus in Libra
Venus determines how and what you love. It indicates how you express affection and the qualities you're attracted to. Your Venus is in Libra, meaning your romantic side is idealistic and eager-to-please. You want an equitable relationship, and you're willing to make compromises to get there. You can be a little self-obsessed, and may have trouble being realistic or loyal in your relationships. It's in your eleventh house, meaning that for you, love is often expressed in social status, including platonic and casual friends, along with your hopes, wishes, and dreams."
....... Presented without further comment.
"Mars in Sagittarius
Mars is the planet of aggression. It determines how you assert yourself, take action, and the energy that surrounds you—particularly in your sex life, your ambitiousness, and when you're angry. Your Mars is in Sagittarius, meaning you assert yourself in a way that pushes boundaries, you easily become impatient and restless, and you push things forward with more vision than thoughtfulness. It's in your first house, meaning you put a lot of energy into your self and self-image—and, because it's your first house, your Mars in Sagittarius is hyper-present in your personality."
More vision than thoughtfulness can shut up. It's not wrong but it can shut up
"Jupiter in Sagittarius
One of the two social planets, Jupiter rules idealism, optimism, and expansion. It's also very philosophical. Your Jupiter is in Sagittarius, meaning you grow and find understanding through questioning, curiosity, independence, and debate. It's in your first house, meaning you find success through your self and self-image—and, because it's your first house, your Jupiter in Sagittarius is hyper-present in your personality."
A little too much questioning and curiouity, hmm, Marius?
"Saturn in Aquarius
The other social planet, Saturn rules responsibility, restrictions, limits, boundaries, fears, and self-discipline. Your Saturn is in Aquarius, meaning you struggle with obstinacy, a superiority complex, and being overly detached. It's in your third house, meaning you have had difficulties with the things you know and are familiar with."
Me??? A superiority complex????? Obstinate? You know, I'm almost flattered. Just call me the Brat Prince, chart, it'd be faster.
"Uranus in Pisces
Uranus stays in each sign for seven years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules innovation, rebellion, and progress. Your Uranus is in Pisces, meaning other generations are shocked by your generation's sense of empathy, dreaminess, and gentle nature. It's in your third house, meaning that for you, this manifests in rebelling against dated expectations about the things you know and are familiar with."
I wouldn't call my generation empathetic or gentle, but we were thoughtful. Though compared to some, perhaps we were.
I do not choose to coment on rebelling against dated expectations , as once again, they don't call me the Brat Prince for nothing.
"Neptune in Leo
Neptune stays in each sign for around fourteen years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules dreams, imagination, and the unconscious. Your Neptune is in Leo, meaning your entire generation finds inspiration through magnanimity, leadership, thinking big, and confidence. It's in your eighth house, meaning that for you, this manifests in your ideal—verging on unrealistic and impractical—about darkness, taboos, rebirth, sex, and transformation."
This is a bit more how is describe those of us who were Young in the years just before the French Revolution. We were throwing ourselves into a new world, a world we were determined to make, and unafraid of the darkness we were about to fall into.
"Pluto in Sagittarius
Pluto stays in each sign for up to thirty years, meaning it rules a generation more than a person. It rules power, intensity, obsession, and control. Your Pluto is in Sagittarius, meaning your generation's psyche is comparatively positive, free-spirited, curious, optimistic, forward-looking, independent, and confident. It's in your first house, meaning you personally are transforming your self and self-image—and, because it's your first house, your Pluto in Sagittarius is hyper-present in your personality."
As is this. The Age of Enlightenment. I do wish some of us were still around
Now tell me, friends and fans and fellow Scorpios, do you agree with the stars?

Demon Ayno: Summoned | Thanksgiving | 12 Days: Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 | Day 6 | Day 7 | Day 8 | Day 9
On the 8th Day of Christmas: You Met Leo
You were stretched out on the bed, laying on your belly, feet lazily kicking in the air, staring into your laptop as you tried to work your way through your overflowing e-mail inbox. Ayno was lying next to you, his head cradled in the small of your back, reading a large hard-backed volume that was old enough to have cloth on the binding and cover. The fabric was now a little threadbare in places allowing the thin wood to show through, and it had that old library book smell that you caught a hint of as he turned the yellowed pages. It was also written in Greek, which was not surprising- the antiquities section of the library was one of his favorite places.
“Do we have plans on Wednesday night?” he inquired absentmindedly.
You thought for a moment. “I don’t think so. The office Christmas Party is on Saturday night…but I don’t think we have anything before then. Why?”
“I was invited to a holiday party. I was hoping you would go with me.”
“Sure.” You said as you unsubscribed from a newsletter for the fifth time.
…and then it hit you. “You were invited to a holiday party?? By who??”
“My friend Leo. He is having a party to celebrate the solstice, and he invited me. I think he is curious to meet you.”
“Leo? You have a friend?”
“I think so.”
“Where did you meet him?”
“He runs a shop in downtown.” Ayno paused hesitantly and sat up, “He knows.”
You stopped cold and stared at him. “He knows what?”
“About me. What I am.”
You started at him in shock. “Ayno…you told someone??” you whispered.
Ayno shook his head vehemently, “No! He just knew. As soon as he saw me, he knew.”
You sat up and took Ayno’s hands. “I think you need to tell me the whole story”, you said softly.
“It was not long after I received my key. I had gone out to explore downtown, and I had decided to turn south to go home, when I suddenly felt compelled to go a different direction. I walked west into the part of downtown that has not been made new yet. I just felt something pull me in that direction. I walked until I came to an area where the shops are all arranged in a square around courtyards, and in one of them was a shop called The Ace of Cups. The Ace of Cups is the card of intuition and spirituality in the tarot deck. When it is upright it means opening up to possibilities and new beginnings, upside down it indicates loss, instability and pain. The picture on the sign was upright, so I went inside. I think you call it a ‘metaphysical’ shop: herbs, crystals, supplies for wiccans and druids- things that pertain to the occult. I understood why I was drawn there- it seemed familiar.  As soon as I entered a man emerged from the back and stared at me. His gaze at me was very intense…it scared me...and his eyes were blue…but they were not a normal blue. He spoke to me.
“Marry meet, friend. Can I help you?”
“I was drawn to your shop. I am not from around here.”
The man snorted. “That’s an understatement. We don’t see much of your kind. Do you have business here?”
I knew then that he knew something about me. I tried to proceed cautiously. “I mean no harm. My Patron lives nearby. I am granted freedom to occupy myself when I am not attending her.”
He seemed intrigued. “You have a regular customer?”
Ayno shook his head “I am in service. I have not been released.”
“How long have you been here?”
“Eight risings before All Hallows Eve.”
“That’s a long time for you. Are you trapped?”
“No, no. She is pleased with me and desires me to stay. I have grown fond of her. I do not wish to be released.” Ayno hung his head. “Please. I am not a virulent entity- I will cause no harm. This place feels…comfortable.”
The man stared at him intently, considering his plea. “By what name are you called?”
“I am Ayno.”
“Very well, Ayno. So long as there is no malicious intent, you are welcome here. I am Leo.”
You sat for a moment, absorbing the details of the story. “Sweetheart, why didn’t you tell me?”
Ayno looked down and picked at a loose thread on the cover of his book. “I am sorry. I was afraid you would panic and send me away.”
You placed your hand on his cheek. “Ayno- look at me. I have no intention of sending you away. I’m just afraid that someone might try to hurt you or separate us if they found out.”
Ayno crawled forward wanting the reassurance of your arms, sighing as you held him tightly with his head against your chest. “I should have told you. I am sorry. Forgive me for not trusting you.”
You kissed the top of his head and stroked his hair. “It’s ok, I’m not mad. Trust takes time, it has to be built. I understand you aren’t used to trusting people.” You sat there holding him, turning his story over in your mind. “Ayno? One thing I still don’t understand: How did Leo know what you are??”
Ayno gazed up at you, “I do not know. But I do not think Leo is from around here either.”
*          *          *
You walked twelve blocks through the chilly night air into the area of downtown known as The Mews. The Ace of Cups was located in the third quad you came to. Ayno placed his hand on the small of your back and gently guided you past the ornate iron gates and into the crowd of people in the courtyard. You went to the food table so he could drop off the rosemary and sea salt roasted almonds he’d spent the afternoon making. You stood taking in the sight, eventually realizing someone was staring at you. The man in question was tall and broad shouldered but slender. He had high rounded cheekbones and his eyebrows arched at an angle that make him seem exceptionally intense. His nose was long and angled, and tilted down above his full lips, before the lower part of his face curved into an oval. You nudged Ayno who turned and followed your line of sight. “That is Leo”, he said raising his hand in greeting. Leo raised his hand back, and then disappeared into the crowd.
There were more people than you had thought there would be. You weren’t sure what you were expecting, but people were wearing outfits that ranged from Game of Thrones to Wall Street day broker. There was a small bonfire near the front that some of this odd assortment had gathered around keeping warm. Scattered around the courtyard were tables that seemed to have various crafts to do, wares to buy; as well as one for food, another for drinks and a third for sweets. Toward the back, there were paper bag luminarias arranged in a spiral.
You and Ayno took a slow lap around the place looking at all the different things and Ayno said hello to people. His eyes lighted on one of the craft tables and he said, “Oh wreath making! We should make a wreath- we do not have one on our door.”
“Now that you mention it- we don’t, do we? I used to have one with glass balls on it- but it broke.”
You approached the table and looked at what appeared to be a pile of dismembered Christmas tree, baskets containing things like holly and cinnamon sticks, rolls of red, green and white twine, and stacks of what looked like twigs that had been bent and tied into rough circles. “I don’t think I’ve actually ever made a wreath before” you said looking at all the supplies and wondering how exactly to start. “It is not difficult I will show you how”, Ayno said happily. He walked you over to the wreath making table and selected a circle of vines that had been tied together. Then he carefully selected a piece of evergreen and wound it between the vines and used green twine to tie it in place. “See?”, he said, “Easy. We just keep doing this.” Five minutes later it became obvious that you did not have the knack for this. Ayno laughed and told you to choose the evergreen boughs and he would tie them on. In no time at all, you had a beautiful fluffy green wreath that smelled fabulous. Ayno pointed at the baskets on the table, “Oh holly and pinecones! We must have those too. You choose, I will arrange.” You pulled some sprigs out and a couple of pinecones and handed them to him. Ayno talked while he worked, “The wreath is a symbol of the wheel of the year. Holly is masculine. It is used on wreaths because the thorns are thought to keep evil spirits from entering a home”, he said as he arranged them and used more twine to tie them in place. Then he ran a fat red ribbon through the back as a hanger. “What do you think?” he said holding it up for your inspection. “It’s beautiful” you said with a soft gasp, “You know, you’re actually very artistic.” “Thank you!” he smiled, “I am satisfied with it. I think it will look nice on our door.” Ayno carried it over to the fence and hung it around one of the loops in the rod iron, next to the other ones that had been completed as well. “We can hang it here for now and take it with us when we leave tonight.”
You moved on to another table where there was a strange assortment of supplies. “What is all this Ayno?” He smiled, sat down & patted the chair next to him. “We are making things to hang in the trees for the birds. Part of the joy in the solstice is giving back to the earth and providing for rebirth and spring.” A nice woman in a green velvet cloak came over smiling “Merry meet Ayno! This lovely lady must be your girlfriend. Would you like to make birdseed ornaments?” Ayno nodded, “Yes Celestine! How do we make?” She told you to choose shaped cookie cutters as she poured birdseed into bowls. Then she patiently showed you both how to dissolve flour and gelatin into hot water and mix it into the birdseed. Then you pressed the sticky mixture into greased sun and heart shaped cutters you had picked. You stuck a drinking straw into it, and then lifted the cookie cutter off and pulled the straw out. “Excellent work. When they set, we’ll run a ribbon through the straw hole, and hang them in the trees for the birds!” Celestine said as she added them to a cookie sheet with others and bustled them off to fridge to set up.
The next table had large baskets of oranges and bowls of cloves and cinnamon sticks. “Ah! Pomanders! Have you made before?”, Ayno asked. These you knew. “Aren’t these from the Victorian era?” He nodded, “They were very popular then.” You paused for a moment as a realization hit you, “You were there- in the Victorian era- weren’t you?” Ayno gave a small smile and nodded, “Yes. I have been making these for a long time.” You sat watching Ayno braid ribbons and wrap them around the oranges, suddenly awed at how old he really was and how many times and places he had seen and experienced. He handed it to you when he finished and began another for himself. You set the orange down and wrapped your arms around him, hugging him tightly and nuzzling into the crook of his neck. He placed a soft kiss on your temple and whispered “I do not know what has caused this, but I would like it to occur as often as possible.”
It did not take long for you to finish your pomanders- Ayno’s a complicated pattern of swirls ringed with rows of cloves and cinnamon sticks tied at the top, and your simple- if slightly crooked- rows of peeled stripes and clove buds. Ayno hung them on the fence with your wreath and led you over to a tall table that had strips of paper and assorted pens. “Mmmm. This is important. Choose a paper, and on it write down that which you would you want to let go of in your life. Anything you would like to unburden, things you would like to leave behind in the darkness. You can use as many as you need: one, ten, a thousand.” You took a paper and stared at it, with a ball point pen poised above trying to think of all the things in your life that weighed you down. You glanced at Ayno, who seemed very comfortable using a glass fountain pen, dipping it into a vial of ink and writing words gracefully across his paper in a language you didn’t recognize. “Your writing is beautiful.  What language is that?” You asked. “Mine.” He said simply.
“For something that is supposed to be evil it’s awfully pretty.”
Ayno’s hand paused, and without looking up he replied, “There are many things in the world that are purely evil but come wrapped in the guise of beauty.”
You weren’t sure if you shivered from the cold or Ayno’s words, but he noticed your blue lips and sent you to wait near the dying fire while he got you something warm to drink.
He’d only been gone a moment when Leo seemed to magically appear at your side. He watched Ayno go and then looked at you quizzically, “Tell me, Ayno’s foolish mortal girlfriend: whatever possessed you to summon a demon and then keep it as a pet??”
“I didn’t summon him”, you stated.
Leo seemed confused. “That’s not possible. Ayno cannot simply appear- he has to be summoned.”
So, you told Leo the story about the Halloween party, and the book, and how Gia had summoned him, and he had come through your mirror.
“Interesting”, he said, “You didn’t actually summon him… yet he remains bound to you…but why did you keep him?”, Leo pressed.
You shrugged, “Well…he’s very good at what he does…and my apartment was kind of messy…my life was kind of messy- I needed some help, and it turned out that I liked coming home to him …he’s easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor and one day I realized I didn’t want him to go…so I just never released him.”
“In other words, you kept him as a sex slave and a maid and then discovered he was actually a sentient being, is what you’re telling me?”
You were embarrassed. It sounded so awful when he said it like that. “Wow that makes it sound really bad. I know- in retrospect my reasons were feeble, and it was not exactly ‘right’ …but it’s not like that anymore. I care about him- so much. If he is unhappy all he needs to do is say it, and I will let him go- I would never want him to stay against his will.”
Leo looked at you -the challenge visible in his eyes. “Yes”, you whispered, “I love him.”
Leo nodded and gazed off into the distance for a moment. “You do know that he can kill you right?”
You were silent for a moment and then nodded, “Yes, I suppose he can, but I don’t really think that’s Ayno’s thing.”
“No”, Leo said “It isn’t. But he is still a demon- keep that in mind. It’s like getting a tiger cub and raising it as a house cat. Just be careful.”
You glanced up to see Ayno making his way back to you across the courtyard. Leo followed your gaze. “Ah- wassail. That will help warm you up, and it is almost time for the Yule log, so the fire will warm you too.”, Leo said as he started to move on and then stopped, and turned and looked at you. “For what it’s worth- he’s in love with you too.”
A few moments later, someone began ringing a bell and calling for everyone to gather around the fire which had diminished itself to embers. Ayno came and stood behind you, pressing his warm body against yours and wrapping his long arms around you.  Celestine and Aysheh wove through the crowd carrying baskets of holly and acorns. Ayno instructed you to take one of each. You watched as Leo and 3 other men carried in a large oak log decorated with ribbons, evergreen boughs, holly and mistletoe. A man wearing an outfit that looked like Santa Claus styled by the renaissance faire and a woman who looked like every illustration you had ever seen of a medieval druid came forward and began speaking. They called for all the lights to be extinguished; then they welcomed everyone. They asked all present to take a moment to dwell in the darkness -to know that this was the longest night of the year. They invited you to think about the past year, the old the things that you were ready to shed and leave in the darkness, and to envision the light returning- coming back to you- bringing new things into your life- awakening parts of yourself that had gone dormant and slept. The Santa Man stepped forward and raised his hands, as the Yule log was placed into the glowing embers everyone chanted with him “May the log burn, May the wheel turn, May evil spurn, May the Sun return.” The fire began to grow, and as it did, people stepped forward to toss the holly and the acorn in – some calling out things they were thankful for or hopes for the new season. Next, you tossed in the slips of paper you had written on- symbolically leaving those things in the past. When the crowd had committed their personal pains to the fire and vowed to embrace the possibilities of the coming year, everyone cheered and rang bells before launching into a lusty rendition of Deck the Halls.
Somewhere around the second chorus, Ayno pulled you away and led you to the spiral of luminarias at the back of the courtyard. He walked slowly backwards, holding your hands and pulling you through the softly lit path. “Thank you for coming with me tonight. I have had such a good time. I was so happy to share this with you; I hope you were not bored.”
“No! It was really interesting! …and I’m really glad I came. Now I understand how you feel all the time: having little to no idea what is going on, and just trying not to call attention to yourself and look like you know what you’re doing. Afraid you’ll say the wrong thing and give yourself away. Honestly Ayno – you’re amazing, and I have new respect for how hard you try every single day.”
Having reached the center, Ayno stopped walking. He pulled you in close and brought your face to his. “Worth it”, he said as he kissed you gently and deeply.
“I’m cold”, you said, “Let’s go home and you can warm me up.”
“Look at that”, he smiled as the burgundy flooded his eyes, “Solstice wishes coming true already.”
*          *          *
Leo stood leaning against the door of the shop, humming to himself as he watched you and Ayno depart the festivities. Your coat pulled tightly around you, your hair lifting slightly in the winter breeze; Ayno towering over you with your tiny hand in his huge one, his wings folded gently against his back, tail swaying as he walked, and his horns spiraling gracefully up into the moonlight.
Celestine paused as she walked past with another tray of completed birdseed ornaments, “Leo- what are you humming? I know that tune, but I can’t place it.”  Leo gave a small smile, and sang in his soft angelic voice:
“Just a little change
Small to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Beauty and the Beast…”

🔮 share your natal chart tag game 🔮
@strawberrylight tagged me to do this, thanks themi ily and I loved reading about your chart
rules: go to this website and generate your natal chart  if you can (you’ll need a place of birth + time of birth). report the results for your Sun, Moon and Ascendant, and bold the statements that apply to you.
I’m tagging @matchingbees @onmyowns @tournesol-vol6 and any mutuals who feels like doing it!
The Sun is in Leo
There's an unmistakably regal air to Solar Leos. These are dignified--even noble--folk. Leos have a reputation for being conceited, but think again. Leos do feel important, but this generally takes the form of wanting to change the world in some way--to make the world a better place. They are generally motivated by affection for people, and often have big dreams and plans to make people happy.
Generally, Leos are hard-working. After all, they are attracted to the good things in life, and they know they have to work to get them. It is sometimes difficult to imagine Leos as go-getters if you happen to catch them in one of their languid moods. These people can sleep in, laze around, and luxuriate for long periods of time. However, when they do get to work, they do it with intensity and determination. In this way, they are not unlike their symbol, the lion. The worst thing you can do to a Leo is accuse them of bad intentions. Displaying behavior that makes them think you don't appreciate them runs a close second. These happy, jovial people become mighty hurt when others don't see them for their noble intentions.
Loyal, and sometimes rather traditional, Leos are, after all, a fixed sign. They'll hold on to situations and people for a very long time before they give up. There is an unmistakable idealism to Leo's view of the world and the people in it. Often, Leos have a very noble inner code that they answer to. Although on the surface, Leos appear rather confident, they can actually be some of the most humble souls around. They are the first to blame themselves when something goes wrong. Once again, it's the Leonine self-importance at work, and this characteristic works in unexpected ways. Instead of being the conceited, self-absorbed show-offs of reputation, they are usually very self-aware, self-conscious, and, yes, even humble.
Short description:
She is masterful, she likes authority, she aspires toward an ideal. She likes to give advice. She is honest, frank, loyal, open, and sincere.
Possible issues: pride, vanity, arrogance, presumption and disdain for others..
The Moon is in Scorpio
While others may find security and comfort in material things, Moon in Scorpio people seek out emotional intensity. No matter what, there is something very intense about Lunar Scorpios. They are diggers when it comes to the world of emotion--they can see beyond facades and cut right to the core of a person. This ability to "see" what isn't obvious to the rest of the world can be intimidating to others or wildly attractive, depending on the audience.
Their deep-seated need for transformation and rebirth can manifest itself in the lives of Lunar Scorpios in different ways. Most have powerful, emotionally intense lives. Some feel like it is beyond their control -- these natives seem to attract emotional upheaval, and their lives appear to consist of plenty of dramatic ups and downs. However, when accepted as an emotional need, rebirth and change doesn't need to be so dramatic and overwhelming. In some way or the other, Moon in Scorpio natives seek out intense experiences. If their lives are regular in any way, there can be an unconscious need to test their own strength and stir up emotional excitement. Self-awareness and acceptance is probably the best way to handle this deep need for emotional drama.
Doing things halfway or having meaningless relationships simply doesn't fulfill them. Lunar Scorpios want all or nothing. Moon in Scorpio people often have a strong fear of betrayal. They seek out commitment, and feel the need for a partner to give up something for them. Some will put the people they love through a series of tests, and these are not always conscious. Their apparent suspicion can be trying for the people who love them. However, once committed, Moon in Scorpio people can be the most loyal and protective partners around. Even the shy ones have enormous presence. Their lives are emotion-driven, yet many Moon in Scorpio natives spend a lot of time controlling and mastering their emotions. Their intuition is enormous, although it is sometimes self-serving.
Moon in Scorpio people radiate strength. Even in the absence of experience, they seem to "just know" things. It would be difficult to shock or scare away Lunar Scorpios in the face of emotional honesty and power. Some people instinctively want to lean on them, and other less brave folk run a little scared. Lunar Scorpios have exceptional "radar" that allows them to size up a situation--and a person--quickly and expertly. This ability to understand human motivation and nature can be too close for comfort for some, and enormously comforting for others. Many Lunar Scorpios are intelligent and astute. Those that use their enormous powers for intimacy and honesty are the happiest, and they make the most interesting and rewarding friends and lovers.
Short description:
Courageous, brave, independent, not a fearful nature. A very sensual and progressive person.
Potential issues: excesses of pleasures, difficulty letting go.
Ascendant is Aquarius
How unique and original Aquarius rising natives come across! These individuals are just that -- individuals, and they won't let you forget that fact. Often turned to for advice, these natives possess intellectual poise and savvy. They often are curious, and quite learned, in both science and metaphysics--anything that involves advancement of the human race holds much appeal. It's hard to shock an Aquarius rising. They've seen it all, or at least want you to think they have. In fact, they often enjoy shocking others. Not that they are flamboyant by nature, but they do like to, albeit quietly, get a rise out of others. Some natives born with Aquarius on their Ascendant can be quietly provocative and irreverent. Most people with this Ascendant are quite friendly and likable. Their personality quirks generally go over quite well with others. They generally give others quite a bit of freedom--accepting, as a rule, people from all walks of life as equals. And, their somewhat cool and detached curiosity about all that goes on around them appeals to most.
Curiously, Aquarius rising people can be a little standoffish while also coming across as humanitarian and kind. Often labeled as independent and original children, Aquarius rising natives often feel a little "different" or "special" throughout life. They often feel like they are on the outside looking in, and their ability to observe and deduce is often uncanny. They're also adept at getting things to work, even when the parts that make up the whole seem like a puzzle with unusual pieces--especially when it comes to groups of people. This sets them apart as managers and team leaders. The Ascendant often reveals physical mannerisms and even choice of dress, as it shows how people present themselves to the world. With Aquarius here, natives sometimes have a quirkiness to their manner, and some dress in a slightly offbeat manner--not enough to make them stand out like a sore thumb, but just enough to express their original temperament.
Because these people seem so open to new ideas, it may be surprising when you encounter their decidedly stubborn streak. Aquarius is a fixed sign, after all. The ascendant sign shows how individuals react to new situations, and with Aquarius rising, there can be a resistance to change that seems to belie the native's generally progressive nature. There's a distinct inflexibility with Aquarian rising people, and, sometimes, a tendency to want to force their opinions on others. With their eye to the future of mankind as a whole, some people born with an Aquarius Ascendant overlook the more personal needs of the people closest to them. They are often attracted to partners who possess self-confidence and ardor.
Leo with an Aquarius Ascendant
Air and Fire combine to create a highly unique personality. Both signs are Fixed, which means there is a rather stubborn streak. For the most, you are stubborn about being yourself! You have an entertaining and original personality. Others need only appeal to your generous, kind nature to get you on board.
