I spent the weekend bringing my husbando to life ♥️ Grimmy stands at 5'8" (172cm). Very fun DIY project and now I can look over and see his cute face whenever I want. (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)

The first few things I put up, I measured. Since then, I’ve been going completely on vibes 😆 It’s very fun and freeing! The grown-up version of all the posters and clippings I used to tape on my childhood bedroom wall 🥰

This is all I have on my camera roll, as far as shelves go! Everything else is of the 1) stacked or 2) strewn about variety! Usually on bedside and coffee tables. Thanks for the ask! 🫶🏻

i need to clean my room and sort through the boxes of my stuff.....we moved in over a year ago and we still haven't unpacked a lot of the stuff

I return after a week to announce most of my property is destroyed.

There was a fire in the storage facility I use, back at the end of August. They did not let us have access to our property until mid-November, by which time the residual water damage was severe. I lost all my furniture, about 70-90% of my 700+ books collection, including the entire WOT (twice over as I had most in both paperback and hardcover), Queen's Thief series by @meganwhalenturner, the 25-30 Discworld by Terry Pratchett books I had thus far managed to collect, and a significant collection of Anne McCaffrey books. All ruined by mold and water warping.

And in the same week I also managed to kill my second computer in a year (or year and a half). So that was horrible.

Anyway, I have spent the last week trying to save clothing/linen, one or two small pieces of furniture that maybe survived, and the like 10% of books which have no mold (one box out of 13 remained completely dry) or only a little mold - including a gold leaf covered Torah from my grandpa, who passed several years ago.

Its been exhausting, and I still have way more work to do. So yeah.

That was my week.

Fasting at 19 hrs rn, I'm hungry and starting to rly want to eat but i rly want to make it to at least 20 if not a full 24 bc I was feeling so so good just a bit ago!! Until I decided to be helpful and try and unpack one of the last boxes left in the office and started to put stuff away on our display shelf and proceeded to knock over all of my bfs dragon statuettes that he's been collecting since he was a child lmfao 🥲🙃🥲🙃🥲🙃🥲
