Final day FIELD TRIP! Urban foragers and farm explorers! 🍓👍🥒🌱💚 These kids had never seen a farm or how fruits and vegetables are grown, let alone picked their own. If I've learned anything from this year of teaching it's that any kind of productive autonomy for a frustrated teenager can be healing. The day started with 'Ugh Chef Maggie this is gonna be gross and boring' but ended with 'This is the best day ever, when can we come back?? I can't wait to tell my friends!'
